"Do you judge me for marrying Carlisle?" I said as I played with his chest hair.

I still didn't know what he thought about it.

"Who am I to judge you?" he said.

"Liar." I said.

"I certainly think it was very stupid of you to marry him out of pity, but... I don't know... You had your reasoning, and I guess it doesn't matter now anyway." He said.

"I know..." I sighed, "I really liked him. He was such a nice man... So charismatic and full of life... But it was very stupid of me to marry him. I felt bad for him, but I should have said no!"

"Bella... Just let it go." he said, "I swear it doesn't matter to me now."

"I know... I'm trying," I said.

I knew I had to let it go, and I was trying my best.

I should have handled Carlise's proposal... But it was too late now! Whatever done could not be undone. I had to move on!

"Mom is such a drama queen," he said as he received a text at that time.

"What happened?" I asked.

"There was this one vintage watch Dad gave her, but she lost it. I found something similar and gifted it to her, and now she is continuously sending me emotional messages about how touched she is by my gesture," he rolled his eyes.

"That was really nice of you to find that watch for her," I smiled.

"I didn't spend any effort," he said, "I just came across it."

"Oh, so you just happened to come across that vintage watch?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yes." He said.

"Why do you like to hide your feelings? Why do you think it looks so cool to act like an asshole?" I said.

"Because I am an asshole," he said, "And I haven't hidden how I feel for you, so I don't know what you're talking about."

"No, you're not an asshole. I know that now," I smiled, "You're an amazing son and brother. It's okay to tell them that you love them!"

"They won't be able to digest if they heard any kind words from them from my mouth," he laughed.

"Come on! They will love it! I mean, look at me! I've gotten used to it." I said.

"Oh, have you, Ms. Swan?" He smiled.

"Yes... I don't know what's wrong with me..." I smiled, "But I'm falling for you, Mr. Cullen."
