We're back on chapter eight.

Later that morning, Jimmy had arrived at the Southern Water Tribe. He and Goddard snuck passed the guards who were patrolling the southern spirit portal. They sneaks through the woods and sees Past Unalaq and his children were standing.

"Unalaq." Jimmy whispered, recognizing him.

"Father, what are we doing here?" Past Desna asked.

"You're here to straighten out the mess you caused when you failed to capture the Avatar." Past Unalaq answered.

"I told you, it wasn't our fault." Past Desna said.

"You're right. It was my fault for trusting you. Harmonic Convergence is almost upon us. This is my opportunity to change the world." Past Unalaq said.

"We'll make it up to you, Father." said Past Eska.

"Good, because we'll need your help to open the northern portal."

"I thought only the Avatar could do it." Past Desna said.

"I believe there is another way."

Past Unalaq and his children entered the portal.

They emerge to the Spirit World.

"This way." Past Unalaq said.

The waterbenders walks up to the tree where Vaatu was imprisoned as they look at the closed northern portal.

"There it is, the northern portal."

Jimmy entered the portal to the Spirit World. He looked around and sees the Tree of Time.

"This is where Wan and Raava battled with Vaatu ten thousand years ago." he said while looking around the area.

Meanwhile, at Republic City, at the movie set, the filming set of The Adventures of Nuktuk: Hero of the South. The filming crew was heading for lunch, and only Bolin's past self was left alone and he was still suspended by the props.

"Hello? Anyone? Nuktuk's still up here, all alone with Sheng." A door slams, and Past Asami enters the set. "Asami! Hey, what are you doing here?"

"Varrick invited me to watch some of the filming." Past Asami said before she looks around, confused. "Are you filming right now?"

"Right now? Nope. We're uh... we're at lunch." Past Bolin said.

Past Mako walks in. "Asami, there you are. Is Bolin around?"

"Up here." Past Bolin called out while struggling to free himself.

"Good. I've got something to tell you both."

Past Bolin managed to free himself before plunging down. "Ahh! Ow, aww. Oh, I got to stop doing my own stunts." he said.

Korra hides behind the door, watching over her friends' past selves, listening to them.

"I found out what Korra and Neutron are doing; they're trying to take over Republic City. And I think they stole Varrick's stuff."

"What? No." Past Bolin said in disbelief.

"Korra and Jimmy Neutron are stealing Varrick's inventions?" Past Asami asked confused.

"Yes! It was a ploy. Korra wants Republic City to go to war, and Neutron wants control of the businesses that stand to profit the most from it. They already had all the shipping. All they needed was Future Industries. It was all like Raiko's seer told him."

Korra got stunned. "What? Who is that guy?" she wondered while whispering.

"You've talked to President Raiko and that guy?" Past Asami asked.

"Yes, he figured Korra and Neutron are his undoing." Past Mako said.

"Korra saved the city from Amon. She's the Avatar, not an evil mastermind. And I don't think Neutron is a bad guy. Mako, you seemed stressed." Past Asami said concerned.

"I am stressed!" Mako said.

"Uh… about your breakup with Korra?" Past Bolin asked nervously.

"What? No. That has got nothing to do with it." Past Mako snaps.

"See, this is why I had to move out." Past Bolin said.

"You guys aren't living together anymore?" Past Asami asked.

"Nope. It was time for this eagle hawk to spread his wings and fly." Past Bolin said before he flaps his hands.

"Sounds like you've had a pretty busy week. Maybe you just need to relax." Past Asami said as she puts her hand on his chest.

Past Bolin gets pensively. "Wait a minute. Are you two…" Past Mako and Asami look back at him before he gasps and points his finger toward them.

"You're dating again? What?"

"Dating? No!" Past Mako said.

"That's crazy!" Past Asami said.

"Korra's just on the run from the cops. And if she sees you two like this, she's not gonna like it." Past Bolin said.

"She should have thought of that before she keeps messing everything up!" Past Mako said.

Past Bolin was shocked. "You don't mean that."

"Guys, listen to me. Korra and Neutron are up to no good, and I have proof. The detonators Varrick uses in his movers are exactly like the one I found at the Cultural Center attack. And those explosions were exactly like the ones the captain reported when Asami's shipment was hijacked. Don't you see? They're trying to overthrow the President."

"Anyone could have gotten their hands on one of those detonators, but not Korra, or Neutron." Past Asami said.

"Yeah. Let it go, Mako." Past Bolin said before he leans forward; quietly. "Let it go. Don't make that as an excuse for breaking Korra's heart."

Past Mako gets irritated. "Gah! No! I'm not going to let it go! AND KORRA AND NEUTRON ARE THE MASTERMINDS OF IT ALL, AND I CAN PROOVE IT! AND WHEN I DO, THEY'RE GOING TO JAIL!"

He turns around and walks off to the door before Korra avoided getting seen.

Past Bolin stood there, standing with a sad face while he stared after him along with Past Asami. "Mako…"

Korra could not believe what her ex-boyfriend's past self had just sad.

"This is a nightmare. Instead of figuring that Varrick is the mastermind, he thinks I'm a criminal. I've got to try and stop and confront Varrick and tell the whole city Jimmy and I are innocent."

Korra runs out of the building.

Meanwhile, at the Spirit World, where Past Unalaq and his children approaches the closed Northern portal while Jimmy and Goddard were watching, hiding behind a boulder.

"Father, haven't the spirits had ten thousand years to open this portal?" Past Eska asked her father.

"If they could not succeed, what makes you think we will?" Past Desna asked as well.

"By entering the Spirit World through the portal, we bring with us something the spirits never had: Our bending." Past Unalaq said before he bends a water stream into the portal, while his children watch on. "Join me! Together, we can open this portal."

Past Eska and Desna assist their father by bending their respective water streams. The portal reacts, sending purple energy which disrupts their streams and injures Past Desna, throwing him backward and groaning in pain.

Past Eska got shocked and worried. "Desna!"

"Leave him! Keep bending!" Past Unalaq ordered as he bends another stream of water while his daughter tends to her brother.

Past Eska tended to her brother. "He needs a healer at once!"

"This is more important!" Unalaq said.

Past Eska carries her brother. "I'm taking him back."

Past Eska carries her brother away from the Spirit World before Jimmy and Goddard avoided being seen by them. Past Unalaq continues bending at the portal, but he was unsuccessful.

He bends more water, freezing it into an ice drill, but still to no avail. Unalaq looks on in disappointment.

"I need the Avatar! If only they would have captured her in this Neutron hadn't interfere." Past Unalaq said before walking to the Tree of Time to talk to Vaatu's past self before he was defeated.

Jimmy looked at the great Spirit of Darkness before Goddard whimpered. "It's him."

Past Unalaq stands in front of Vaatu.

"The Avatar has escaped without a trace, and we cannot open the northern portal. I have failed you, Vaatu." Past Unalaq said.

"You haven't failed me… yet. The Avatar has just entered the Spirit World."

"How do you know?" Past Unalaq asked.

"Even though my connection to Raava was severed, I can still feel her presence." Past Vaatu said.

"I'll find her."

"The Avatar will find you." Past Vaatu said.

"But, what about this boy who is protecting her?" Past Unalaq said.

"I do not know. What are we going to do about you, James Isaac Neutron?" Past Vaatu asked sinisterly while looking at where Jimmy and Goddard were hidden. "No human can hide from my vision."

Past Unalaq looked at the boy and metal dog tried to waterbend them before Jimmy hopped on Goddard and flew off. Past Vaatu laughed ruthlessly at them.

"Go find the Avatar before James Isaac Neutron does! Do what you want with him." Past Vaatu ordered.

"Yes, Vaatu." Past Unalaq said with an evil grin.

Unalaq and Vaatu discovers Jimmy! Will they find out that he's from the future? You'll find out soon enough.
