AN: And we are back with another chapter! Thank you all so much for the support on the last chapter, it really means a lot. So without further adieu let's just jump into it!

Never Come Back

Uraraka was nervous, standing in front of Izuku's home she couldn't shake the feeling that coming here was a mistake. Ever since Overhaul walked free she tried to reach out to him but he kept refusing and didn't want to speak to her.

She would ask the neighbors if Izuku had left the house at all and every single one of them replied that they hadn't seen him. With every passing day Uraraka began to worry, so she eventually worked up the nerve to visit him.

Taking a deep breath Uraraka knocked, no response. Knocking again she waited but still nothing, sighing Uraraka lowered her head, "I guess he doesn't want to see me." she turned but just as she took a step the door began to move.

Stopping, Uraraka turned to find Izuku, "What do you want?" he asked, standing in the middle of the doorway.

Being a pro hero Uraraka has faced villains with a wide range of quirks, some were strong, some were building sized but now, being in front of Izuku caused her to fear. Being much taller than her Izuku towered over her, but the biggest difference was how much muscle Izuku had. "I-I just…" composing herself Uraraka held firm, "I just wanted to see how you were doing."

Izuku raised an eyebrow, "I'm still alive. Which is more than I can say about my mom and Rin."

Uraraka looked away, "I'm, I'm sorry. I'll leave…"

"Wait." Izuku said, just as she was going to turn. "Rin, she thought of you as a friend. If you like why don't you come inside, I'll serve you the tea she liked."

Hesitant at first, Uraraka wasn't sure if she should accept, "Sure, I'd like that." With that izuku stepped aside, letting Uraraka into his house.

Once inside Izuku instructed her to sit on the sofa and wait. Uraraka looked around and noticed how empty but organized the home was, 'I guess being in the military makes you a neat person.'

She then looked over at a small coffee table and noticed a picture. Standing up, Uraraka walked over to it and smiled. It was a picture of Rin and Izuku covered in mud and wearing their uniforms and smiling, "She looks happy."

"We took that picture after we completed training for Special Forces." Izuku explained appearing with two cups of tea. He handed one over to Uraraka. "We went through hell that day, but in the end we both made it. But don't get me wrong, she looked happy but right after she started crying. Not out of pain, but for the fact that we were done."

Uraraka laughed, "Really? Rin crying, I would have never guessed she was capable of doing that."

Izuku smiled and walked towards the sofa, "There were few things that made Rin cry. And since I was with her I've only seen her cry twice. Which I will keep secret until the end of time."

Seeing the smile on Izuku's face made Uraraka happy, not wanting to ruin the mood she took a sip of the tea. "This tea is amazing! What leaves are these?"

"Gyokuro." Izuku said. "The most expensive tea leaves in Japan. Rin loved these when she first tried it at a ceremony."

"Those are expensive!" Uraraka cried out. "It's almost too much for me."

"That's what I said, but Rin wouldn't have any other tea." Izuku sighed. "She really loved it."

Uraraka noticed his shift in tone, "How are you holding up?"

Izuku looked at the tea cup, "I'm fine." He looked at Uraraka and saw that she wasn't convinced. "It's true,"

"Really? Because those bags under your eyes and ramen cups it seems to me you haven't slept or eaten properly." Izuku looked away, "When was the last time you left the house?" Izuku didn't answer. "What about eating a proper meal?"

Again Izuku said nothing, "Captain, I know losing someone we love is tough. And I'm not saying you should forget about them. But you need to take care of yourself."

"I know." Izuku said quietly, "It's just hard, you know."

"That's why I want you to call me if you need anything. If you ever need anything let me help you." Uraraka said, her face filled with compassion.

Izuku nodded, "Thank you, it really means a lot. I do have a question, if you don't mind answering."

"Anything." Uraraka said. "Ask away."

"Did the heroes, did you, know about the attack, and not act?" The question made Uraraka's eyes wide.

"Captain…" The hero was stunned. "How could you suggest that?"

Izuku pressed her, "I have connections within the hero scene. Did you know?"

Uraraka lowered her gaze, "Yes. We knew the Yakuza were planning something, but we didn't know where or how."

"So you did know.." Izuku scoffed. "And because of your inaction, my mom…my wife...not to mention the several other innocent people, died."

Uraraka turned, "We wanted to do something! Believe me, we really did but we couldn't. Not without wasting years of investigation. Besides we have rules…"

"Rules? Rules!? Was Rin's life not worth that much to you?" Izuku asked. "Rin would have taken action. She would have stopped the threat before it happened, and made damn sure they never do it again. But you "heroes" where were you? At a new years party, laughing, drinking, and having fun." Uraraka's face turned white. "Yeah I know, and I also did the math. Because of your little party it delayed your response by 5 whole minutes. 5 minutes that could have saved them."

Tears began to stream down Uraraka's face, "I-I didn't…"

"You're heroes for fuck sake, you should have saved them. Why didn't you?" Izuku stood up, "I'll tell you why. It's because you're all failures, you say you care about us but all you heroes care about is who gets the spotlight in the end."

As Izuku was speaking the door to his home was suddenly blown down. He turned only to find a very familiar face rocketing towards him, "Deku!"

It was Bakugo! Using his explosions the hero increased his speed and managed to grab Izuku by the arms, forcing him towards the wall. "Bakugo, don't!" Uraraka yelled out, but it was already too late.

Slamming up against wall, Izuku grunted in pain, "Who the hell gives you the right to talk to her like that?"

Izuku gritted his teeth, "Bakugo. After all these years you show up like this."

"Bakugo, stop! Let him go!" Uraraka yelled, standing up.

"We tried you damn nerd!" Bakugo yelled. "We tried to get there in time, we tried saving them."

"And you think that's enough!" Izuku said through his teeth. "You failed, I lost my family because of you heroes. You are supposed to protect us! I don't have a quirk and I could have done a better job than you."

Bakugo bit his lip, "But you didn't! You're just a quirkless man who failed to protect the ones he loves."

"Bakugo enough!" Uraraka yelled out, now grabbing his shoulder.

Hearing that made something inside Izuku snap. While still being pinned Izuku mustered up every bit of strength he had. Bakugo wasn't a push over when it came to pure physical strength but he could do nothing as Izuku easily overpowered him. And that's all he needed, freeing one of his arms. Izuku punched his old friend in the stomach.

Hunched over and with the grip around his hands loosened, Izuku took this chance to counter. While hunched he grabbed the hero's head and slammed it against the wall.

Bakugo bounced off it and turned around more pissed off than anything. But as he did Izuku grabbed his hand and pressed between the finger joints.

The pain forced Bakugo to fall to one knee, "You're whole quirk revolves around your use of your hands." Izuku said, looking down at Bakugo. "I wonder what would happen if I break your fingers."

Izuku then pressed down, adding pressure to the bones which caused Bakugo to scream out in pain. "Captain please, stop!" Uraraka said, running in to stop him.

But as she approached Izuku kicked her in the stomach, which sent her sliding back. "Shut up." He said, still holding onto Bakugo. "You don't get to tell me what to do…"

Quickly and easily Izuku pressed down on the bone, with enough force to break it. Popping sounds were heard as Bakugo screamed out in pain, three of his fingers now bent in an unnatural way. "Y-You bastard!"

Izuku leaned close to Bakugo, "You still have two other fingers Bakugo, want me to break them too?"

Bakugo stayed silent, "I didn't think so. You come into my home, destroy my property, and you have the balls to cuss me out." Izuku scoffed. "I'm not the same quirkless loser you told to kill themselves. You ever mention my wife again and I'll make sure you retire early. Do you understand?"

Due to the pain Bakugo only groaned, "I said…" Izuku then broke another one of his fingers. "Do you understand?"

Wincing in pain Bakugo nodded, "Y-Yes…"

Izuku let Bakugo go, "Good, now pick your sorry ass up and both of you get the hell out of my house and never come back. I'll send the bill to repair my door to your agency."

Grabbing at his hand Bakugo quickly walked towards the door. Uraraka tried to help him but he pushed her away. Looking over at Izuku one final time Uraraka spoke, "I'm so sorry Captain. I know saying this may not mean anything to you anymore but, we will get them. We can't give up hope yet."

Izuku looked away, "Hope died when she died."

With that Uraraka left Izuku's house without another incident. Once outside she found Bakugo walking down the street. She hurriedly caught up, "How's the hand?"

"Bastard broke four of my fingers." Said Bakugo. "I'll get Recovery Girl to heal me. I should be fine, what about you? He kicked you pretty hard."

"I'm fine. He kicks really hard." Uraraka said, grabbing her abdomen. "Fortunately he went easy on me. He could have seriously hurt me if he wanted to. Also, were you following me?"

Bakugo sighed, "No, I was visiting my parents who live nearby. I saw you standing outside that house and got curious. Once I heard yelling I rushed in. Those things he was saying…"

"He was right." Uraraka said, much to Bakugo's surprise. "Think about it, if we weren't partying we could have gotten there sooner. We could have saved his family."

"We did what we could given the situation. As much as it sucks we can't save everyone Ochaco. You, out of everyone, should know that." The young hero stayed silent for a few seconds. "Look, I know Midoriya, he needs time. You said he was with Special Forces right? Maybe you can contact them about getting him some help."

Uraraka thought that was a good idea, "Yeah, yeah that could work. Maybe some therapy, it worked for me. I'm sure it could help him."

Later that Night, Toshima City

The sound of trucks reversing onto loading bays were heard. Once docked several men pulled out several boxes before moving them into the warehouse. "Come on move it people we don't have all night!" Yelled who appeared to be the one in charge. "Boss wants this stuff out of here in less than 30 minutes. Let's move it!"

The one in charge walked all along the outside of the docks. as he did however, he noticed something on one of the trucks. A red light shined from underneath the bumper. "Hey, what's this red light here?" He asked the men working. "Did you guys install lights?"

Several of the men walked over to check on whatever it was but as they did the light turned green. Then a sound, the workers eyes widened, "Move! It's a bom…"

But before the man could finish his sentence the device exploded killing him and severely injuring others. The entire warehouse shook as a result of the explosion. Smoke and flames quickly filled up the warehouse.

"We gotta get out of here!" One of the men yelled. He ran towards the exit and opened the door but was met by the end of a gun barrel. The man looked up and wasn't able to say anything before a shot rang out.

The man's body stiffened up before falling back, hitting the floor blood began to pool underneath his head. The other survivors all turned and saw as a shadow stepped forward, "Running like roaches, how typical." Izuku said, walking through the door and holding his HK416. Still stunned by the explosion and the death of their comrade, Izuku took this chance to raise his weapon and fired.

Firing in single shot Izuku took out three men before they knew what hit them. Moving to his right, "Kill him!" someone yelled. Soon everyone who was still alive pulled out their weapons from their coats and began to fire.

Bullets whizzed by just inches from Izuku's head. Taking cover, Izuku made it behind a metal support beam. "Come on! I'll kill every last one of you!" He yelled, peeking out from one side and firing.

The men began to split up trying to surround Izuku from both sides. Seeing this Izuku pulled out a grenade from his belt, pulling the pin he tossed it to his right. "Grenade!" the hentchmen yelled. Seconds later an explosion occurred, sending shrapnel through the three men. With his right clear Izuku moved to his left.

He fired a barrage of bullets towards the villains. Managing to hit some of his targets, three men dropped to the floor. While another was hit in the shoulder. Once again finding cover Izuku felt that his magazine was empty. Releasing the empty one he flicked his rifle to the side causing the mag to fly off, he then reached into his pocket and pulled out a fresh one.

Now with more ammo Izuku was back in the fight. He appeared from cover and took down men as they approached but he was still outnumbered, and it began to show.

As he appeared from his cover a bullet managed to hit Izuku in the chest. Fortunately, he was wearing a vest, but even so the impact was enough to knock the wind out of him. Even so, he stayed in the fight by killing the man who shot him.

By the end of the gun fight Izuku emerged victorious, but injured. His vest was riddled with holes one of which went through. He had a few cuts on his arms and face but nothing major. "Alright, time to burn this place down." He turned to get started, but as soon as he did a loud voice was heard.

"What, it's already over?" Izuku turned to find a tall, muscular, bald man who wore a mask walking down some stairs. "I knew these guys were useless but they couldn't even take one person down. That's just pathetic."

"Who the hell are you?" Izuku asked.

"Me? Names Yu Hojo, and I'm one of Overhaul's…" but as Hojo was speaking a bullet was shot from the barrel of Izuku's gun right at the man's forehead.

Hojo's head whiplashed back, but curiously, he didn't go down. Slowly Hojo moved his head back and showed that his forehead was covered in a white crystal. "That was rather rude don't you think?"

Izuku scoffed, "I don't care. If you work for that piece of shit then you'll die." Going full auto Izuku unleashed everything.

Hojo simply stood there and waited, at the last second he raised his arm and activated his quirk. White crystals appeared from his forearm blocking the bullets. "You have no idea who you're messing with."

With no more ammo Izuku threw his rifle onto the floor before pulling out a canister. Pulling the pin he rolled it on the floor causing smoke to appear. The entire warehouse was now filled with smoke. Hojo coughed as he tried to fan it away, "Running already? Come and fight me like a man!" He yelled.

But that's when Izuku appeared from the smoke with his combat knife. From behind Izuku managed to graze Hojo's neck. The Yakuza member grunted in pain, "You little shit." He tried to reach out and grab Izuku but he was already hidden again by the smoke.

But Hojo wasn't just some dumb brute, he was smart enough to know that Izuku was going for kill shots. Seeing that he had failed from behind, Hojo deduced that he would come from the side. Activating his quirk he created a blade that started from the top of his knuckles and became razor sharp at the tip.

Turning slightly, Hojo thrusted the blade into the smoke. As he did sparks suddenly flew, Hojo smiled, "Found you." Creating another blade in his other hand he thrusted that one also.

But once again he felt the crystal blade stop, but this time there were no sparks. As the smoke began to dissipate Hojo's eyes widened, with one hand Izuku blocked the blade with his knife. With the other, he caught it with his bare hand.

Blood dripped down onto the floor as the crystals cut Izuku's palm. Hojo smiled, "Not bad, but let's see you deal with this!"

The crystals on his arms suddenly grew, Izuku tried to hold them back but it was too much. First was the crystal that he held with his hand. Knowing that it was too much Izuku let go and dodged, but he was just a bit too slow. As he moved the crystal stabbed into his shoulder.

Stumbling back, Izuku grabbed his shoulder as blood ran down his arm. "If you want to use your quirk, now's the time to use it." Hojo said as he shrunk the blades.

Izuku groaned in pain but still managed to transfer the knife to his other hand. "Don't have one."

Hojo stood still for a minute, "Really?" He then began to laugh. "You're quirkless! Oh God and here I thought you were a threat." Appearing suddenly in front of Izuku, the Yakuza member grew crystals on his knuckles and punched him in the stomach.

Izuku fell to his knees as he gasped for air, "Regret coming here now don't you?" Hojo asked as he stopped in front of Izuku. "When Overhaul hears about this I'll get in trouble. But at least you'll be dead."

Covering his fist with crystal, Hojo raised his fist into the air. But right before he was going to bring it down Izuku moved. With the knife still in his hand Izuku came up and stabbed Hojo in the knee.

The villain screamed out in pain as Izuku twisted the knife and popped his knee out. Blood splattered onto the floor as Izuku pulled out the knife and went for the neck.

The blade's tip was centimeters from piercing Hojo but he managed to activate his quirk. As soon as the blade came into contact with the crystal it shattered, leaving only a small stump on the handle.

But even this wasn't enough to stop Izuku, dropping the knife he reached to his hip and pulled out his side arm and fired two shots at the villains chest. But that too was deflected, Izuku then noticed cracks on the crystals on his body. 'They've gotten weaker? Looks like he can't keep creating more crystals forever. That means I have a chance.'

Aiming for the head Izuku fired 4 more shots, the crystal cracks some more. Knowing that his quirk wouldn't hold up much longer, Hojo needed to do something. "You little shit! I'll kill you!" Grabbing Izuku by the arm he spun him around like a rag doll and threw him across the warehouse. Crashing into some barrels Izuku spit out blood, "I'm not done with you yet." Said Hojo running towards Izuku.

Managing to dodge at the last second, Izuku had to come up with a plan. He couldn't win hand to hand, but maybe, just maybe, he could win by using his brain.

Backing up against a pillar, Izuku waited for Hojo to attack. It was a punch which Izuku could dodge with ease. Hojo's fist hit the metal beam causing it to deform.

Going around to each beam Izuku would dodge out of the way just as Hojo attacked causing him to either break or bend the beams. Now it was just down to one final pillar, "Quit running!" Hojo yelled out in frustration.

With one final punch Hojo dented the beam and that's all Izuku needed, that was the final beam. But as he dodged out of the way the villain managed to smack him across the face. Crashing into one of the trucks Izuku smiled, "You really are all brawn and no brains."

Hojo was confused, "What are you on about?"

"You never noticed, did you?" Izuku laughed. "I'm not the one dying today, you are."

Hojo watched as Izuku took cover, he then began to hear the sound of metal bending. Looking up, the Yakuza members' eyes widened as the roof of the warehouse was beginning to fall. "Oh shit!"

He tried to run for it but the roof began to collapse. Soon smoke and twisted metal littered the area and from it Izuku appeared from underneath it all. His face was covered in dirt, and blood trailed down his forehead, "I think that killed him."

He thought but that wasn't true, "I-I'll…kill…you…" said a weak voice. Izuku turned to find Hojo, still alive but underneath a pile of metal and concrete.

Izuku limped over, "Overhaul will find you…" Hojo said as Izuku looked down and found his side arm. "Y-You won't…get away with this…he'll be coming…for…you."

Izuku stopped and pointed the gun at Hojo's head, "Good, that's what I'm counting on." A loud bang ran out. The bullet pierced Hojo's head, killing him instantly.

Lowering the smoking gun Izuku let out a sigh of relief. "I need to leave, the cops and heroes will be here shortly."

Calmly, Izuku began to climb over the debris and away from the mess he created. As he walked he didn't notice the dim light of a cellphone. "T-This is crazy, that guy managed to survive that and take down their whole warehouse. The Yakuza actually lost."

A few minutes later the police and heroes showed up and immediately secured the area. One of the heroes to arrive was Aizawa. He took a look around and noticed the bodies underneath the debris. "All of these were Yakuza members. But who could have done this? A rival faction? No, there would have been death from both sides."

"Eraser!" Someone called out to the hero. "We found something."

Walking over Aizawa was shown a trail of blood and led away from the warehouse. "Did you follow the trail?"

The officer nodded, "It leads to the main street. Busy too, countless people walk down it every day. Even this late at night."

"Pull security tapes from the local business. Maybe one of them caught something. And have forensics sample the blood." Aizawa instructed. The officers nodded and quickly got to work.

That's when Uraraka arrived on the scene, "Aizawa, need any help?"

"Uravity, what are you doing in this area?" Asked Aizawa.

"I was on my way back from Froppy's agency. So, where do you need me?" She asked.

"Help the first responders pick up the debris. We need to find out who attacked this place." Uraraka nodded.

"Right." Getting right to work Uraraka helped clear the debris. One by one she cleared an area allowing EMS to retrieve the bodies. But as she lifted up a slab she came up on a computer that had a sticker labeled CCTV, security cameras. "Hey Eraser! Check it out." The former instructor saw what Uraraka was looking at. "I think Mei could salvage it."

Aizawa agreed, "Good, maybe this will give us answers."

"This was a known Yakuza shipment center wasn't it?" Uraraka asked. "It would have been well guarded. Who would be crazy enough to attack this place?"

"That's what we're going to find out. For now, help with the recovery." Uraraka nodded and went back to work.

That's when someone else called out to Aizawa, "Hey Eraser, you got to hear this." It was an officer. The hero walked over and saw that the officer was with a woman. "Lady here says she got a look at the people who attacked this place."

"Not people, person." The woman said. "After the gun fight was over the entire building came crashing down on itself. I didn't think anyone could have survived, but someone did. It was crazy, he looked like a demon."

"Did you see their face? Or notice any features that could help us ID them?" Aizawa asked.

"He was hurt, couldn't tell how bad but enough to where it was noticeable. Didn't see this face though, sorry." The woman said.

"Damn, I thought you would have been able to see. Thanks, we'll make sure to catch this guy." Aizawa then turned to leave. But as he did the woman spoke again.

"Catch him?" The woman scoffed. "I hope he gets away." The hero stopped. "I mean come on, he killed a lot of people, but those guys were Yakuza. Low life trash that lived to commit crimes. I'm glad they're dead, and so does the rest of the community."

"Ma'am, that's why we heroes are here." Said Aizawa. "To keep you safe."

"Safe!?" The woman laughed. "We asked countless hero agencies to patrol this area and nothing was ever done. At least now they won't be able to infest this place. And if you ask me, that guy is the real hero."

Aizawa was lost for words, how could this woman who knew that that mystery man killed countless people in cold blood be called a hero? Not wanting a confrontation, Aizawa left. He stopped to speak to an officer, "Whoever did this didn't come out of this unharmed. Have heroes and police check out all the hospitals and clinics in this city and the cities over."

Back With Izuku

Arriving back at his home Izuku walked the hall and began to remove his vest. Undoing the straps, flat bullets that impacted his vest began to fall and hit the floor. In total his vest stopped 8 rounds. Lifting the vest up he dropped it on the floor and kept walking. The open cuts and piercing wounds on his arms and face burned.

Taking off his shirt bruises were seen as a result of the vest stopping the rounds. Exhausted Izuku hopped into the shower, the stream of water turning red from the blood. He had just taken down one of Overhaul's warehouses but several more were still open. Those needed to be closed down, and they would be. Izuku wanted to make it clear to Overhaul that he wasn't untouchable, that he was coming for him. "Rin, I hope you're watching."

Morning

It was morning by the time Aizawa and Uraraka had cleared the area. They were tired, but even so they needed to find who did this. None of the heroes or police reported anyone showing up at any of the local hospitals or clinics with wounds that would indicate their involvement. "They couldn't have gone far. Now, if they were injured they needed to get their wounds treated." Aizawa said, pondering who could have done this.

"Aizawa, we're all done here. Let's get this tape to Mei." Uraraka said, holding the tape recorder box.

"We were here for several hours don't you want to go home and rest?" Aizawa asked.

"I'm fine, really." She said smiling, "Besides I want to be a part of anything Yakuza related. I owe it to Captain Midoriya to bring these guys in. I failed him once, I won't do it again."

"Now noble." Said a voice walking towards the two. Both heroes turned and found Overhaul himself, "Unfortunately for you Uravity, the charges against me have been dropped. You didn't find anything the first time, you won't the second time. But I do hope you find the people responsible for this awful destruction of my property."

"You mean your drug lab?" Uraraka questioned. "We know this place was a distribution hub."

"I suppose that's partly true." Overhaul said. "It was for my pharmaceutical company that I'm starting."

"We'll find who did this and bring you in too." Aizawa said, stepping in between Uraraka and the villain.

"And in that I wish you the best of luck." Overhaul turned. "You'll need it."

Uraraka clenched her fists, "That son of a bitch. Acting like he hasn't done anything."

"Easy, we'll get him eventually. But for now we need to focus on bringing whoever did this in." Uraraka agreed.

The drive to Mei's office wasn't far, she owned a tech business that dealt with hero gadgets and repairs. Thanks to her hard work she was known as the best in the business, maybe even on par with long time heavy hitters Melissa's Lab's.

Walking into the building the two heroes were greeted by a secretary. "Oh Mei is in her workshop right now. If you'd like you can go see her."

Walking towards the back of the building the pair found mounts of scrap metal and devices, all made by Mei. The sparks of a weld lit up the room, "Just a bit more." Mei said working on her invention. "Annnnnnnd done!" Mei then pulled up her welder's mask. "The suits are going to love this."

"What is it?" Uraraka asked.

Mei jumped slightly, "Woah, didn't hear you walk in. And this bad boy is a new material I made. It sowed in the fabric of a hero suit making it practically resistant to everything. But it doesn't last long, one good hit will fry it. Anyway, what's up?"

"We were hoping you can salvage security footage from a damaged drive." Aizawa explained holding up the recording in question.

Mei's eyes brightened, "Ohhh, fire damage." Taking the drive she inspected it. "It's melted pretty good, some of the hardware is melted too."

"Can you recover anything?" Asked Uraraka.

"As long as the storage wasn't damaged too much I should be able to save everything." Mei turned around and placed the drive on her desk. Popping off the underside she inspected the device. "Hmmm, there's some damage to the storage, some pins have melted as well."

"So not recoverable?" Aizawa asked.

"It should be impossible." But that's when Mei smirked. "But not for me! I should have this up and running in no time."

Moving some stuff around Mei quickly got to work. It didn't even take a full 5 minutes until the drive came back to life. "HA! Not even fire can stop me. Although the encryption they had was pretty good. It took me a few seconds to crack that. But here we are, all the files you're looking for."

Putting it up on a big monitor, Mei showed several video files. "Awesome! Can you look up anything for yesterday? Maybe around midnight."

Mei checked, "Check this out." Clicking on the file the CCTV video played on the screen.

They watched as a truck parked into the side of the building. Mei switched cameras showing the inside. The explosions that followed and the men in a panic. Seconds later they saw a flash of light, a gunshot. Then a man walking into frame holding an assault style rifle, his back was to the camera which kept his face hidden. The three watched as the person expertly waited, hit most of his shots, and took cover. "This guy is trained." Aizawa pointed out.

"A cop?" Uraraka questioned as he watched the man get injured in the arm. "You see that, see how he jerked back a bit. Some of those rounds hit him, he's wearing a vest."

"Even with a vest he's bound to have some broken ribs or at the least bruising." Aizawa commented. "But no one has shown up with that type of injury."

The camera then played the fight with the quirked individual. "Hey I know that guy. Yeah, he's one of Overhaul's lieutenants." Uraraka pointed out. "His quirk is strong, he can make crystals that are as hard as steel if not stronger."

They then watched as the mystery man was tossed aside and beat up quite a bit. "He's ignoring pain. This guy isn't a cop." Aizawa said. "Could be a hero."

"Hmmm, I don't think so." Mei said, jumping into the conversation.

"Why do you say that?" Uraraka asked.

Mei pointed at the screen, "That knife. It's a military combat knife. I know because not even my babies can withstand its blade."

Uraraka's eyes widened, "Military…no, it couldn't be."

The video then showed the moment the warehouse came crashing down. The video turned to static for a few seconds before appearing once again. The camera was positioned where you could see a part of a demolished wall. "Y-You won't get away with this." Said Hojo. "He'll come for you."

"Good." Said another voice. "That's what I'm counting on."

They then heard a loud bang, a gunshot. Something else was picked up but the voice was muffled and distorted. Uraraka then heard the sound of footsteps from the video. Then, someone passed through the frame for a split second. "Wait! Stop! Go back, the camera caught him."

Mei quickly went back and paused it right as the man's face was barely visible. Uraraka's eyes widened, her heart sank. "N-No…"

Aizawa turned to Uraraka, "You know him?"

She nodded, "That's Captain Midoriya."

"Wait, he's the one who lost his mother, wife, and unborn baby in the Christmas day incident." Aizawa recognized him as well. "Where can we find him? We have to ask him about this."

Uraraka was still in shock, "He wouldn't do this. He just…this has to be a mistake."

"Uraraka, where can we find him?" Aizawa asked once again.

"His home, I'll take you there." Aizawa nodded and began to turn to leave. "Aizawa." He stopped and looked back. "Don't hurt him."

"That depends if he comes quietly." With that Aizawa left the office.

Izuku's home, 11:36 am

Standing outside Izuku's home were several dozen police officers, all wearing tactical gear and carrying rifles. "This is too much. I'm just going to ask him to come down to the station with me." Uraraka protested, still in her hero costume.

"If it was really him on that video then he killed dozens of people last night." Aizawa said. "This is more than justified."

"We still don't know if he did it." Uraraka protested, still holding out hope.

"He's considered armed and dangerous. We aren't risking it." Naomasa said. "We are going in." He then waved his hand signaling the team to move in.

Several people then bursted through the front door and began to search the house. A minute later a call came through the radio, "Clear, no sign of him."

"He's not home." Aizawa said, frustrated. "Anywhere else he could be?"

Uraraka thought about it, "Yeah, just one."

2 hours later

All of the vehicles that were parked around Izuku's home now stopped in front of a gate. One by one they all got out and began to walk towards a checkpoint. "Stop!" Someone yelled from above a watch tower. "You are not to proceed any further." It was a soldier, his rifle up and ready.

"We're looking for Captain Izuku Midoriya. We have reason to believe he's here." Naomasa then pulled out a piece of paper. The detective then began to walk forward, "We have a warrant. We just need to…"

But as he stepped forward the soldier yelled, "Stop! Any closer and I will shoot. You are not authorized to be here."

Naomasa put his hands up, "Look, we just want to see if he's here. If you just let us." He took another step, but as he did a shot rang out. Inches from Naomasa's foot a bullet hole was seen.

The officers all pointed their guns at the watchtower, "I said not another step. The next round won't be a warning shot. Tell your men to stand down! Now!"

"Fuck that!" One officer yelled. "You almost killed him. Detective just give me the word."

Naomasa was about to speak, when more soldiers appeared from behind everyone and from the side. Some were riding Humvees and on the .50 cal. "Put your weapons down, now!" They all yelled.

The officers all turned and began to point at the soldiers, Aizawa and Uraraka did their best to calm everyone but the situation was growing out of control.

The shouting was fierce, no one could tell who was saying what anymore. Officers had their fingers on the trigger and were just about to fire when a loud whistle cut through it all. "Castle! Castle! Castle!" A voice yelled.

The soldiers all moved positions, Humvees to the side while everyone else stood in front of the gate. "What the hell is all this fucken noise in front of my base!" Appearing from behind the men was none other than General Ayano.

Ayano stopped and looked at the officers, "Who the fuck are you guys? Can't you read? I know there are signs that say "stop, authorized military personnel only" and a sign that says, "intruders will be shot." Someone better explain to me why you're here before I let loose my men. 3…2…"

"General!" Ayano looked through the crowd to see Uraraka.

"Uraraka? What the hell?" Ayano then stepped forward.

"It's been a while, Ayano, sorry, General. Sorry about all this but we are looking for someone." Explained Uraraka.

"Oh yeah? Who the hell is it?" Ayano asked.

"We are looking for Izuku Midoriya." Naomasa explained once again. "We just want to see if he's on base. So if you'd just let us in."

"The hell you will." Ayano said angrily. "You know what this place is? This is HQ for Japan's special forces. No one goes in without my permission."

"General Ayano, we have a warrant." Ayano then snatched the paper from Naomasa's hands.

She looked at it, "Looks official enough." Ayano began to rip the paper apart. "Funny, I don't see a warrant anymore." The general then stepped forward. "I don't care what your paper says, this is my base. You or your men take one step on this base without my blessing…and I'll make sure you don't leave alive. Understand me? So I suggest you leave right now."

Naomasa was terrified, "General please. We need to talk to Captain Midoriya." Uraraka said.

Ayano groaned, "Ugh, fine. If it'll get you to leave." She then turned back. "Yo captain! Get your ass up here! Double time!"

Running towards the front Izuku stopped beside Rin, "Yes General?" He wasn't in uniform but had on a black shirt and camo pants.

"These people are looking for you. Any idea why?" Ayano asked.

"No ma'am. No idea." Izuku replied.

Naomasa looked at Izuku, "Cut the crap, we saw you kill those men last night."

Izuku looked around, like he was confused, "Kill? What, I think you got the wrong guy. I've been here since last afternoon."

"We hired Captain Izuku to train the new cadets." Ayano explained. "Training starts early in the morning and ends late at night. So it's more convenient if he stays on base."

"It's hard driving home after a long day so I decided to stay here a few days." Izuku explained.

Aizawa narrowed his eyes, "Naomasa?"

The detective nodded, "He's telling the truth."

Izuku smiled, "Of course I am. I have no reason to lie."

"Then how do you explain the footage of you attacking Yakuza members?" Uraraka questioned. "I saw you on those tapes."

"I don't know who you saw but it wasn't me." Izuku said, glaring at Uraraka. "Oh I get it, this is payback for before. So who sent you? Bakugo?"

Uraraka was insulted, "That has nothing to do with this."

"You sure? I invited you into my home and you let another hero beat me. I spoke the truth, and you didn't like it. This is retaliation." Izuku said, stepping forward.

"What is he talking about?" Aizawa asked.

Izuku scoffed, "Bakugo broke into my home, destroyed my property, physically assaulted me, and threatened me. All because he didn't like what I was saying."

"Is this true?" Aizawa asked, looking at Uraraka. She stayed silent, which only confirmed it. "We are going to talk about this when we're done here."

"It had to be you, no one else has the motive to kill those people." Uraraka protested.

"What about the families he's torn apart? What about the friendships he's ended? What about those who overdose on his products? Do they not have the motivation?" Izuku stopped in front of Uraraka. "Instead of trying to blame me for your failures, I suggest you start doing your jobs. Heroes."

Uraraka lifted her finger and pointed it at Izuku, "Rin wouldn't want you doing this. Please, for her sake, and well as yours, end this." She then turned around, "We're leaving."

With that final interaction the officers along with the heroes all left. Izuku watched them disappear, Rin stepped forward, "You did well. Sargent."

The Izuku that was standing beside Rin suddenly began to glitch like a broken TV. It was then revealed that it wasn't Izuku, but Sargent Kira, one of Izuku's subordinates. "Thank you ma'am. So it was all true, everything the Captain said is true."

"Are you having second thoughts, Sargent?" Ayano questioned.

But the Sargent shook his head, "No ma'am, not in the slightest."

"What about the rest of you?" Ayano asked, turning to the rest of the men. "If they find out about this we could be in trouble."

"No ma'am!" They all yelled back in unison.

Ayano nodded, "Good, then let's keep doing our part. Remember you are only assisting the captain in this manor, anything else is forbidden. Izuku doesn't want us to be too much involved in this. He is on a mission, and we will help him the best way we can. Understood?"

"Yes ma'am!" They yelled back.

"Good. Dismissed." With that order the men outside began to walk through the gate. Ayano then turned, "You can stand down now…Captain."

A top of the main building a few hundred yards from the main gate the glint of a sniper scope was seen. "Copy that." Izuku replied. Pulling his finger away from the trigger Izuku breathed a sigh of relief.

"Tell me captain, were you really going to shoot?" Ayano asked through the radio.

Clearing the weapon, Izuku picked up his sniper, "Yes, but only if they attacked you." Closing his eyes Izuku reflected. "General, I'll be off base for a bit. I'll need to borrow some toys."

"Copy that. Just don't go overboard. But I guess it's a bit late for that, isn't it?" Ayano asked.

"Yeah, far too late." Leaving the roof Izuku began to walk down the stairs, "And I'm just getting started."

AN: Dun dun dun! Izuku is now on the heroes radar, will be get away with it? Will they be able to stop him? Find out next time!
