There was only one place she could think about going. It was madness but she needed to go there. She stopped from afar and watched from the shadows. As expected there were cops there.

"Down by the old town road is a house built of blood and bones," she whispered.

She continued forward. It was as if her feet knew the direction on their own. She trusted her guts and walked further away. She made it to the fence surrounding the forest and moved over to a small area covered by prickly bushes. She laid down and made her way through a small opening not visible to the naked eye if they just looked at the bushes. She got in between everything and felt her way around on the ground until she found the hidden hatch. She opened it and used a flashlight she had stolen at the janitor's office to shine a light down into the hole. There was a ladder built into the wall and she made her way down into the darkness.

"A tunnel. Of course," she said. "How else did he escape unseen?"

She made her way through the long, dark tunnel until it didn't go any further. Another ladder was built into the wall and she climbed up. There was a glass plate on the hatch. She placed her hand on it and a red lazer beam scanned her handprint. The hatch opened and she climbed up into the room. The light turned on automatically and she found herself back in the secret room of the house as she had expected.

"This is insane," she said.

She took her time to look around this time. There were a lot of unused hooks in the walls and shelves that used to have items. Weapons that were no longer there except for a few knives left. She walked over to the knives and touched the handle of one of them.

"That one was always your favorite," Roman said.

She spun around and saw he had come up from the tunnel too.

"Did you follow me here?" She asked.
"Of course I did," he said. "Do you finally remember who you are?"

She crossed the floor, grabbed him, and pulled him down for a demanding kiss.

"I'm Sera Reigns!" She growled. "I'm your fucking wife!"

He lifted her up and placed her down on the table. He grabbed her sweatpants and panties, and pulled both items of clothes off her. He buried his face between her legs and snaked his tongue around her clit.

"Oh my fucking god, Roman!" She grabbed his hair. "I'm close."

He continued what he was doing. He remembered exactly how to break her in all the right ways. She arched her back seconds later and cried out shamelessly. He stood back up, opened his jeans, and pushed them down to his knees along with his briefs.

"I've waited a whole damn year!" He growled.

He grabbed her legs, pulled her ass to the edge of the table, and slammed into her. There was no rhythm to his movements. Just a man desperate to get his lost love back. A man furious because of the time that was stolen from them. A man who wanted to hold on tight and never let go. He kept on with his thrusts for minutes while she slithered around on the table and ran her nails over any skin of his that she could reach. She finally broke again, crying out shamelessly once more. He let go too, crying out in unison with her. He leaned over her and kissed her before moving down to the crook of her neck. For a while he kept standing like that, taking in her scent and leaving small kisses on her neck while trying to catch his breath.

"Don't leave me again," he said lowly.
"Roman," she said.
"Don't fucking leave me again, Sera," he said.

She heard him sniffle and she grabbed his head to force him to look at her. Tears were running down his cheeks. She tried drying them away with her thumbs.

"I never left you," she said.
"I know. You were taken. Cody fucked with your brain and I..." His lip quivered. "For a long time I didn't know what to do. I kept hoping you would remember on your own and find your way back to me. I always had my eyes on you from afar, and eventually I knew I had to force you out here somehow."

He stood back up and pulled her up to sit.

"You wrote that poem," he said. "Three years ago while we were sitting outside enjoying the sunrise after a night of hard word. The media had turned us into the bad guys once more after we took down Charlotte Flair. All anyone was told was that we killed a well loved politician. Funny how no one ever came forward with the women she trafficked and forced into prostitution and slavery."
"Have you kept track of them too?" She asked.
"Of course. You know we always keep everyone safe forever. One of them got married over the weekend. She lives in Bahamas now," he said.

She smiled and leaned forward to kiss him. She made a sound of pain and pulled back.

"Motherfucker!" She hissed.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah," she rubbed her temples. "Going off those pills came with side effects. It'll disappear soon enough."
"And your memories?" He asked.
"Still blurry but at least I know who I am," she said.

He kissed her forehead and then picked up her clothes from the floor.

"We better get going. I left the knives in case they were needed. Everything else has been moved to our new location," he said. "I don't know if you remember that we had bought another area and started transforming the house into what this house is."
"I remember a little bit. Pink walls in the bedroom, right?" She asked.
"You wanted pink walls so bad," he laughed. "You picked a nice pink though. I thought you were aiming for a hot pink but you chose a delicate color. I like it."

She jumped off the table and put her clothes back on. A sharp pain went through her head again, and she placed her hands on it.

"Motherfucker!" She hissed.

"We're surrounded," she said.
"We gotta make a run for it," he said.
"How many?" She asked.
"I can only see five. There's supposed to be six of them. Where the fuck is the last one?" He asked.
"Roman, we gotta run now," she said.

He nodded and squeezed her hand. She nodded back at him and mouthed the word "go". He ran first and she followed behind him. He heard a gunshot and her body drop behind him. He turned around and stared at her on the ground with blood running out from her head. From the shadows the sixth cop stepped out to reveal himself.

"Cody!" Roman screamed. "You're a fucking dead man!"

He raised his gun and fired away. Cody managed to dive back into the shadows to hide, and Roman ran away as fast as he could. He couldn't stay with Sera. She was gone. If he stayed, he would be gone too.

"Oh my fucking god," she said.
"What is it?" He asked.
"I remember that day," she said. "I remember being shot. We were running from the cops."

He wrapped his arms around and held her tight.

"I thought you were dead. I would never have left you there if I had known you were still alive," he said.
"I most likely would have died if you had picked me up. The cops had a fast line to the hospital," she said. "It was Cody, wasn't it? Cody shot me."
"That motherfucker shot you!" He growled.

He broke the hug and looked at her.

"I was so angry I couldn't aim straight. I just emptied my gun blindly. I thought he had killed you and I couldn't think. My heart shattered in that moment," he said.
"What happened afterwards?" She asked.
"It didn't take many hours for me to sniff out that you were alive and being operated on. I waited but they were always there. I couldn't get to you. I figured eventually they would have to transport you to some sort of facility to keep you, and then you showed up in a uniform. I have never been so confused as the day I saw you run around playing dirty cop with Cody," he said.
"There were plenty of times I was alone in my apartment. Why didn't you come for me there?" She asked.
"Would you have believed me?" He asked.
"No, I probably would have put a bullet in you without asking any questions first," she said.
"I knew you would," he smirked. "So I had to get you here where I could get you one on one without a way out. It was the only way to guarantee you wouldn't kill me."
"I'm so sorry," she said. "Can you forgive me?"

He gently grabbed her chin, smiled, and pecked her lips.

"It wasn't your fault. There's nothing to forgive. You did nothing wrong. Cody fucked with your brain with the green light from people higher up, and I will never forgive any of them for what they did to you," he said.
"I don't understand why," she said.
"Isn't it obvious?" He asked.

She sighed and nodded.

"They wanted me to somehow lead them to you, and I did. I got your message and brought them all here. They wanted me to arrest or kill you, and they wanted you to know you had been taken down by the only person you've ever trusted," she said.
"The only person I've ever trusted and loved," he said. "I love you, Sera."
"I love you too, Roman," she said. "My memories are slowly coming back. I'm sure in a few days there will be nothing left of Trista."
"Good because she's so not cool," he chuckled. "Ready to leave?"
"What's the plan?" She asked.
"Blow this place up and then visit Cody. He's got something of mine that I want back," he said.

He picked up the laptop he had brought with him when he followed her through the tunnel. He opened the program that was connected with the hatch and wall.

"Remember your knife," he said.

She smirked and walked over to the knives hanging on the wall. She grabbed her favorite and picked another one for Roman. He took the knife and held the laptop closer to his face.

"If you say my name, won't the wall open too?" She asked.
"Yes, but we got another code for the hatch only," he said. "Roman Reigns."

The hatch opened and both of them quickly climbed down into the tunnel before it closed again.

"What do we say if we only want the wall to open?" She asked.
"Knock knock," he said.
"Knock knock?" She giggled.
"I don't remember how we came up with it. I just remember us laughing over it and going with that. Your voice works for the program too as long as you say the right words and have the program open. We usually leave the laptop in the room since we can get in from the outside with our handprints," he said.
"The wall doesn't work that way," she said.
"It does," he said.
"Oh wait," she said. "The wall frame moves if you know where to touch it. The scanner is behind the frame."
"That's my woman," he chuckled. "See, you still got all your memories in there."

They made it out of the tunnel and through the prickly bushes.

"Ready to say goodbye to the house?" He asked.
"I loved that house," she sighed.
"We had many good moments there but we'll have even more good moments in our other house," he said.
"There's not anyone inside, is there?" She asked.
"Of course not. They're all standing guard outside hoping one of us return to the place," he said.
"Blow the place up," she said.

He gave her a quick kiss and then clicked on a program on his laptop. A loud explosion sounded through the night and the flames burned brightly.

"Let's go," he said. "We still got a devil to dance with tonight."
