The following day, Enid had gone out with Creepie in the early morning shortly after the sun had risen into the sky.

"I can't believe neither you or Wednesday cared about me all night," said Enid.

"That's not true, I got you water a few times last night," said Creepie.

"Okay, you cared about me," said Enid.

"But Wednesday just treated me like a test subject the whole time," she said while clenching her firsts. Through the anger the wolf was showing, Creepie also noticed a small trace of sadness.

"Wednesday checked on you every hour last night after you fell asleep," said Creepie.

"What?" asked a surprised Enid.

"You heard me, once you fell asleep she kept getting up to make sure you were okay and that the shot didn't do worse to you," said Creepie.

"It's why Wednesday was still so tired this morning when we got up," she said.

"Why… why didn't she say anything?" asked Enid.

"Come on, you should know that Wednesday never shows that she cares about anyone or thing," said Creepie.

"But she must really care about you for her to be so worried like that, you're kind of an outlier for her," she said. Enid went to say something, but was cut off by another person calling out.

"Hey Creepie," said Caria as she walked up with Melanie.

"Who's your new friend?" she asked while eyeing the wolf up and down.

"This is Enid Sinclair, she's visiting along with my cousin's family for the week," said Creepie.

"And here I was thinking you didn't have family," said Caria.

"That's a little mean," said Enid.

"Says the walking rainbow that hurts people's eyes when they look at her," said Carla with a disgusted expression. She and Melanie then walked away while laughing.

"Do you get stuff like that a lot?" asked Enid to Creepie.

"Yeah, but it does not really get to me," said Creepie with no sign of emotion while beginning to walk again.
