Peter web slinged to the area and was met with the situation of Venom surrounded by bodies of police officers and the cars; Venom noticing Peter picked up a police car and threw it at Peter who put off his shock to react to his Spider-Sense to catch it above his head as Venom then lunged at him as the car burst into flames causing Venom to scream out loud.
Venom then lunged at the wall of a building managing to crawl up as Peter then web slinged there shouting "Hey; that's my thing..." Peter protested climbing up the wall as he was caught by the fist of Venom and was met with his terrifying face. "Okay... Are you like an alien... Is this black ooze on you..." Peter muttered as something told to him by Peter-2 came to mind:
"I fought a... An alien... Made out of black goo once."
"You will remember us now Spider-Man; I have evolved upon the Scorpion and now I have joined forces with... We are Venom!" Venom told him as the face peeled back to showed the grinning face of Gargan as Peter stared at him.
"Yeah... I think you look familiar now..." Peter said as there were sirens going off causing Gargan to scream and Peter to get free as he jumped back out and then came vans of the Department of Damage Control as the armed agents came out.
Gargan snarled as the ooze covered him to form full Venom again; "Move along Spider-Man; somehow you may have escaped justice for Mysterio, that complex burning and your stunt at the Statue of Liberty but your luck will run out one day! Leave this to the proper trained professionals!" snapped an agent as they began opening firing at venom but he laughed.
Peter felt his Spider-Sense go off as he then threw the agents to the side and ducked for cover as Venom then began sending out tendrils to attack him. Venom was then dealt with smoke bombs sent his way as Peter then spotted Felicia trying to strangle him with her whip and claw at the ooze but he charged forward but ended up being caught near a fire causing him to scream and drop Felicia.
"What are you doing..." Peter muttered to her as he went to help her up.
"Trying to help and so; you're welcome." Felicia bowed mockingly causing him to sigh as Peter then went closer to Venom only to be caught by a tendril and pulled into the ooze.
Peter gaged and screamed as he got visions off his head; the viewpoint of watching a Daily Bugle report on him on the TV after a flash and then behind left behind at some bar; then it spending some time feasting on small animals in order to grow larger before coming here.
Peter was then spat out as Venom grinned at him; "Beware Spider-Man for we are not finished..." Venom then said as he then got out a tendril to pull in a nearby ATM machine as he then walked back and then lunged himself into the air.
There were people out with their phones and some reporters came; "Spider-Man; can you tell us about the monster just there?" asked a reporter coming up to him as Felicia was nearby.
"Spider-Man; is this thief your new partner?" another then asked.
"No."
"Yes."
Peter then glared at Felicia as they gave their conflicting answers straight away. "I think I know someone who could help me with some answers..." Peter muttered as he then began web slinging with Felicia chasing after him to his annoyance.
Not long after Peter was inside the Sanctum Sanctorum and Felicia forced herself through; "Don't look at anything and don't touch anything; anything here that looks valuable to you could possibly doom the world and I have had enough of accidentally doing that..." Peter warned Felicia with them both in their suits as they were met with the stern and angry looking Wong.
"I myself could do without you doing that again Spider-Man and you brought a cat burglar into the Sanctum Sanctorum. Like I didn't have enough to do with my duties as Sorcerer Supreme as well as having to look after the Sanctum since Stephen is off fixing another mistake that he made; preventing Incursions in the Multiverse..." snapped Wong making Peter take a step back.
"Mr Wong sir... Sorry but you know the spell that Dr Strange used to make everyone forget all about my identity as in who I was... To send everyone coming into the Multiverse who knew my identity out..." Peter asked as Felicia's eyes widened.
"Wait what... You are going to have to explain that to me..." Felicia brought forth as Peter glared at her.
"Just Wong. Plus yes I recall something to having the Runes of Kol-Kol used." Wong then answered and Peter nodded.
"You see back at the Statue of Liberty; one of the other me said that he fought an alien made of black goo and I just thought a monster who could be one of those aliens... I was brought into the goo possesses this criminal and I think I saw the alien's memories and it was brought forth by the spell... A bit of it was left when the alien was sent back and I was wondering how that could be?" Peter then asked.
"Yeah; an alien was my best guess as to that thing." Felicia smirked as Peter then gave her a warning glance as Wong thought it over.
"I suppose there could be... Shortcuts to what Stephen did... I believe it would be similar to if someone had been covered in mud when they were forcibly brought into our universe and left a bit of mud when sent back. This piece of... 'black ooze' could very well not be sentient enough to be alive at the moment to brought back but could develop to be... Hate that even ancient near forbidden magic could have something along the lines of software bugs but there you go." Wong explained as Peter took this in.
"So if I were to act this alien could you send it back?" Peter asked as Wong shook his head as he then began waving his hands.
"Even if I could; while the Multiverse gives us Masters of the Mystic Arts power, it's still a concept that we don't know a lot about and I think you have messed with it enough as it is." Wong said as Peter then sighed getting his point but then found Felicia being held in place at another bit in the hall trying to grab at an artefact on the wall.
Wong came closer to her and then noticed the necklace on her neck as his eyes widened; "Be warned as it not only bring forth bad luck to those who opposes it's owner but also bad ends to those who misuses it." Wong said as Peter and Felicia then disappeared through 2 portals down below them.
"Now they are gone and now I again can come to terms with what I have experienced... How coudl they end the Sopranos like that..." Wong sighed sadly.
Back at the lair that Gargan was using; he was smirking as he allowed the ATM machine to be busted open and allowed all the guards to help themselves to the money inside. "Is this going to hurt me Mason?" Gargan demanded checking trending news on social media on his phone while strapped to a machine by Mason.
"Just a check Mr Gargan sir; to study the... Goo that has attached itself to you. Make sure that there are no harmful effects on your body." Mason replied as Gargan saw user reactions to the news:
That Venom monster looked slick!
He looked terrifying; with him running around are we even safe?
But how slick he was just dancing through the streets, didn't look bothered when the cops showed up and went full monster!
Embarrassed Spider-Man; I bet Iron Man would struggle against him!
"Sir..." Riva said hesitatingly going up to Gargan as he turned to him as he gulped as if he was afraid for his life in giving this news. "Sorry sir but... I couldn't find anything on Peter Parker... Not a thing so far but I swear that I will keep trying..." Riva explained sounding like he was able to cry and plead for his life.
"That wizard's spell that he got to make everyone forget about him but my other self remembers; thanks to the hive mind! I know about his uncle, his aunt and the friends that he lost! He was pulled in and my better half got the whole story from his mind! Not only that but he can no longer sense us..." Gargan smirked as Riva was taken aback by the reaction.
Peter and Felicia were now in Felicia's apartment again as Peter got out of the shower that she let him use while she got changed into her night clothes; "So let me get this straight... Somehow you messed up a spell to make everyone forget about Mysterio revealing your identity; it brought forth versions of you from other worlds and anyone that knew who you was and to fix it all you had to make everyone forget about the man underneath the mask?" Felicia asked as he got out and Peter sighed with a nod.
"Just myself back home... I lost my Aunt thanks to that mistake... Told me about how trying to help the bad guys before sending them back was the right call; that with great power comes great responsibility!" Peter sighed as Felicia shook her head.
"That's why being a goody good is so hard... Trying to walk the straight and narrow..." Felicia said as Peter glared at her and she shook her head. "Just saying it how it is; more fun to be more for the thrill and reward when being a goody good leaves little rewards and is so hard! I mean have you tried doing a pacifist run on Undertale?" Felicia asked as Peter glared at her.
"It's worth it to help people and make sure that no innocents get hurt! To help people and to sacrifice to keep people safe! I stay out and people get hurt; I lost my uncle because I did nothing! Sacrifices were made to bring me and the other half back!" Peter snapped at her as she sighed.
"Well Stark from what I heard; only agreed to the crazy time plan if he could keep his daughter and so wasn't able to sacrifice his cosy life that he lived while the other half suffered!" Felicia retorted flippantly and Peter glared harshly at her.
"He sacrificed his life to save the universe!" Peter snapped back.
"Yeah he did but still; not wanting to change things so no one was snapped... It left people homeless; people finding loved ones dead or their spouses remarried... You know I was Blipped away and my mum was on suicide watch after losing me and refused to let me out of her sight for a week!" Felicia snapped back as Peter was silent taking it in. "Sorry... You know he did kind of ruin your life as well as the others dealing with the Blip still today... His EDITH drones and handing them to his teenage sidekick without any real guidance! Mysterio was kind of on him and it led to you..." Felicia said as Peter took this in and there was a knock on the door and Peter went to the bedroom to hide.
There was the stern look of what looked like a much older Felicia there; none other than Anastasia Hardy who was Felicia's mother. "Mama." Felicia smiled as Anastasia came in.
"I heard the news and it looks like that you have made a new friend; wondered if he was going to cross your path and hopefully he would be good influence on you!" Anastasia said sternly as Felicia looked down.
"So you heard..." Felicia asked as Anastasia looked incredulous.
"Spider-Man fighting some alien monster during the day on the streets and off course it was going to make the news and the Black Cat helping out... After you two fought at a lab last night and yes; I did hear the news and I had full intention of talking to you about that! Why do you insist on following in his footsteps after what he did to the family? What he had planned for you..." Anastasia screamed as she then dried a tear from her eyes.
"Mama; I promise that it won't end the same..." Felicia said as Anastasia then put a hand on her shoulder.
"Broken promise after broken promise; that's what it was like with him as well! He thought himself untouchable by fate when he wore that necklace as well; that he had all the luck on his side but it all caught up to him... Think about it please; I don't want to lose you a second time... If I do; I just might take a sledgehammer and visit his grave..." Anastasia said softly as she then left.
Peter blinked as he got out having heard and found Felicia silent; "Are you alright... I won't pry but..." Peter asked softly as she sighed shaking her head. "I will take my suit and change... I will be out of your hair and out of the balcony... See you in class and thanks for letting me use your shower..." Peter then said as he got his suit and went to change.
