It had been a month with Jack, although to everyone on Earth; only a week or two. Diana and Jack had gotten close which was both was good news and bad news for Rose but the worst news ever for The Doctor. It was actually a old legend he grew up on, the story of the TARDIS's giving their pilots someone to live for. No one knew how these sentient beings could create such a life but no one really cared after a while.

The Doctor never thought he deserved much and after the war, all he wanted was peace. Now though, she has here and he wasn't going to let a handsy man take her from him.

He quickly cleared his throat causing the other three to look over at him. "Could I speak with you?" He asked towards Diana who nodded with a smile causing him to smile back and grab her hand, pulling her down the corridor. Rose turned to Jack with a frown who just shrugged back, a smirk on his face before heading to his room with a chuckle and shake of his head.

"Hey, where are you going?" Rose asked with a frown causing Jack to shrug "My room. By the look on his face, they won't be back for a while." Rose stared at Jack for a minute before her eyes widened as she turned to try and catch up with them but they were already long gone.

Pushing her into his room, he closed the door and locked it. He placed his head on the door and took a deep breath but the moment he turned around he lost it again.
