Ben now faced the 2 giant serpents directly in front of the cave. He could sense that these serpents are strong, so he needed to be careful. But he also knew this was the best chance to hone his skills.
"I have something new I want to try, so you guys will be my test subjects." He grinned at the serpents.
The serpents couldn't understand Ben's words, but they understand the situation. They need to fight the small human in front of them. They're wild beasts, so they can understand Ben is strong with their instincts.
The male serpent lunged at Ben and opened his mouth. His move was fast even with it's big body. Ben leaped to the side and a magic circle formed in front of his mouth.
"Sun Dragon Roar!" He sent a stream of plasma energy at the male serpent. It hit the serpent's head and pushed him to the side. The female serpent saw what happened to her partner and attacked Ben. He was forced to jump away again and stop his attack.
He looked at the male serpent's head that he attacked earlier. The serpent seemed fine and it only had a burn mark on the scales. Ben clicked his tongue in annoyance because of the scales' toughness, and it could even defend against hot plasma.
"It seems I'm right, my fire and plasma aren't enough. It can push the serpent back, but the heat isn't enough to burn those scales." He stated out loud.
Ben has a problem with his magic. It's the heat of his fire and plasma. It's a big problem and he knew that for a long time. But he decided not to approach it previously. He needed more magic power to raise the temperature. That's why he raised his magic power first.
Fire from the sun isn't like normal fire. It's a lot hotter than traditional fire. Ben isn't a scientist, but he knows this much. Although he really doesn't know how hot the sun actually is.
'This world should have knowledge about the sun, right? I hope some scientists learn about it so I can learn more about the sun later.' Ben thought.
He snapped out of his thoughts when the female serpent attacked him again. The serpent lunged at him again, so Ben leaped away. But then the male serpent attacked as well, forcing him to move again.
The female serpent used it's tail to attack, so Ben dodged again. The 2 serpents attack him relentlessly, forcing Ben to move around. While he moved, Ben prepared a spell and activated it in the middle of both attacks.
"Sun Dragon Plasma Sphere!" Ben clapped his hands and a large magic circle appeared underneath his feet. Then an orange sphere of plasma appeared around him. The sphere had a diameter of 2 meters, but then it expanded to 10 meters.
The serpents moved to attack him when the sphere appeared. They crashed into the sphere and then get pushed back when it expanded. Ben put more magic power into the sphere to make it hotter.
The sphere was a defensive spell. But the heat also burns the serpents' scales and does damage. The serpents roar in pain now, because the sphere is hotter than Ben's Sun Dragon Roar, so it burned their scales.
The 2 serpents are now separated from each other, although only by 10 meters. But now Ben could focus on attacking one of them at a time. He went for the male serpent on his left. Ben ran while preparing his magic and a magic circle appeared on his right hand.
"Sun Dragon Bomb!" A miniature sun appeared on Ben's right hand. He ran towards the male serpent with the sun. The male serpent suddenly opened it's mouth and sprayed purple vapor.
"Venom?! It's dangerous, but opening your mouth was a big mistake." Ben stated.
He threw the sun into the male serpent's mouth. The sun entered the serpent's mouth and he swallows it. Ben immediately ran away to avoid the venom being sprayed in his direction.
BOOM*
The sun exploded inside the male serpent's body with a loud booming sound. Ben expects the explosion to cause the male serpent's body to burst, but it doesn't. The serpent's body was only bloated from 3 meters to 8 meters in diameter.
The male serpent opens it's mouth and the fire from the explosion burst out from it to the sky. The explosion subsides after a few seconds and smoke billows out of the serpent's mouth. The male serpent still has his head raised high.
"Shit! Is it not enough?" Ben jumped back.
The male serpent stayed like that for a moment before falling to the ground. Ben tries to sense the serpent's magic power, and he felt it leave the serpent's body. The explosion had killed it.
Ben sighed in relief because his attack was successful. The explosion from Ben's sun ruptured the serpent's internal organs. It's internal organs aren't nearly as tough as it's scales, after all.
"SSHHYYAAA!" The female serpent angrily hissed.
The female serpent moves towards her spouse and checks on him. She shakes and calls him to no avail, her spouse had died. Now she is furious and looks at Ben with hatred.
"You can hate me because that's how life is. You are threats to my kin, so you are my enemy. If you want to survive, then kill me, if you can." Ben said.
The female serpent's eyes suddenly change from yellow to red. Ben had a bad feeling, so he wants to move and attack. But the female serpent suddenly raised it's head to the sky.
"SSHHYYAAA!" The female serpent screamed to the sky.
Suddenly Ben felt a strong force come from the female serpent. He was pushed back by the strong force and it flung him back. Ben rolled on the ground, then crashed into a tree with a lot of force, but he could handle it.
"Ugh, what happened?" He groaned.
Ben looked at the female serpent who's eyes didn't just change from yellow to red. Her scales changed from brown to black.
Then suddenly, the female serpent moved her head towards Ben and shoots a dark purple beam. Ben's eyes widened and he immediately jumps to the side.
The purple beam hit the tree where Ben was and moved through the forest behind it. The trees that were hit started to wither away quickly before they died.
"Crap! That venom's deadly." He cursed.
Ben looked at the destruction when he suddenly felt danger. He turned to look at the serpent. But what he saw was a big tail in front of his face.
"SHI-" His curse was cut short.
SLAP*
Ben was struck by the tail and sent flying into the cliff near the serpents' cave.
BAM*
"UGH!" Ben cried out in pain.
He couldn't even take a breath because the female serpent attacked again with her venom breath. Ben covered his feet in light and jumped away to avoid the venom.
However, the female serpent coiled herself while using the venom breath. When she sees Ben jump up, she springs out to jump at Ben.
"WHAT?!" His eyes widen in shock.
The serpent quickly flies towards Ben with her mouth open. Ben is still in midair, so he can't get away from the serpent's mouth.
"MOTHERF-" Ben swore.
PLOP* *GULP*
The female serpent closed her mouth and she ate Ben whole.
This seemed to be the end of Ben, but it's not. The serpent suddenly heard something inside her body.
"Sun Mode: Super-Heated Body!" The female serpent suddenly felt herself get very hot, and it kept getting hotter. She knows it's Ben doing this, so she tried to spit him out, but it didn't work.
The female serpent thrashes around due to the pain. Steam generated from her body, and more steam came out of her mouth. She wriggles around for some time before stopping. She's finally dead.
Then Ben emerged from the serpent's mouth. He was naked and his body was bright red. He even glowed like the sun. Steam also came off his body, indicating that he is very hot.
"That's what you get for trying to eat me." A glowing Ben stated to the dead female serpent.
