Angel, Cordelia, Gunn, and Wesley were discussing the information Willow sent when Lorne walked in.
"Look I think as long we don't use any supernatural means to help her," Cordelia said, "We should look into it."
"I think we need to be really cautious about doing anything," Wesley said, "We might inadvertently, trigger something we're trying to avoid. Who knows even Angel asking Willow to use her computer skills might be enough."
"We can't just hang this girl out to dry?" Gunn said, "She's tough, but everyone needs help sometimes."
"Whatever you have done is enough," Lorne said, "What part of don't do anything don't you understand?"
"I thought if Willow could find information using her computer skills," Angel said, "It would still fall under human help."
"Thank god, that's all you did," Lorne said, "So what did Willow find?"
"Information that could be used to gather evidence to get the feds attention," Wesley said, "FBI and DEA at least."
"We could at least go to New York and maybe Montreal to see what we can find," Cordelia said.
"So let's say you do get information to bring a case to trial," Lorne said, "Then you will be on the FBI and Feds radar, probably have to testify."
"Not exactly the kind of attention we really want to attract," Wesley said.
"No, it's not," Angel said, resigned.
"New York, you say," Lorne said, "Now that has possibilities. If Nightingale can get over her stubbornness, she might find some help in that part of the country. You need to give her everything Willow found and let her run with it."
"She is trying to gather evidence against him on her own to do exactly what we're discussing," Gunn said, "This does get her that much closer."
"A lot closer," Angel said, "I just hate that we're leaving her to do this on her own."
"She'll get the help she needs eventually," Lorne said.
"We should at least have Angel go all vampire on him to scare him," Cordelia said, "It would at least buy her some time."
Lorne and Wesley shook their heads.
"We could at least figure out how to get her to New York," Gunn said.
"That might be possible," Lorne said.
"Good, I'll go get her," Cordelia said, "And let her know we have information to help her."
The group discussed planes, buses, and cars for getting Kellie to New York when Cordelia came running back, holding a piece of paper.
Lorne took one look at Cordelia at said, "Let me guess, our Nightingale flew the coop."
"All she left was a note," Cordelia said, "She didn't even have the decency to say goodbye in person."
"She's moving better with the pain killers," Gunn said, "She managed the sewers pretty well. Who knows she might make it on her own."
"Too stubborn for her own good," Wesley said, "Does the note give any clues?"
"Not that I can tell," Cordelia said, "Just a wham bam thank your for your hospitality, but I can't put your lives in any danger any more than I already have."
"Angel," Lorne said, "Let's go. See if we can't find her."
"I'll walk," Angel said, "See if I can't pick up her scent."
