After resting for a few minutes, Ben left the house and climbed up onto the roof. Then he ran and jumped to the city's rooftops while spreading his magic sense.

He knew the girl's magic signature well, so he could find them without much difficulty. Ben found them in the middle of a dance they were watching.

"Ben!" Bella noticed him and flew over to him. Ben caught her and rubbed her head before placing her on his head.

"Did you have fun?" He asked the trio.

"Yes." The girls answered at the same time.

"That's good to hear. Do you want to do something after this?" Ben asked once again.

"We want to see fireworks. Auntie Lisa said it will be the festival's main event and it looks really pretty." Wendy said.

"Fireworks? If it's the main event, wouldn't it take place at midnight? Are you sure you can stay up that late?" Ben asked with some uncertainty.

The girls said in unison. "We can."

Ben sighed and allowed them to do whatever they wanted. He joined the girls and Auntie Lisa as they walk around. They tried some food, bought some interesting things and enjoyed the festival.

Hours passed and it was almost midnight. The fireworks would start soon, so people stopped what they were doing to wait for it. Ben's group now sat on a rooftop to get a better view.

Surprisingly, the girls were still awake even with some difficulties. Wendy sat on Ben's lap while nodding off, but still keeping herself awake. Bella and Carla sat on Wendy's lap, also nodding off.

Then suddenly the first firework was shot and exploded. The girls instantly woke up and looked at the sky. The fireworks were being shot into the sky in high quantity and a variety of colors.

"Wow, so pretty." Wendy said.

The girls smile happily as they see the fireworks that cover the dark sky. They had never seen anything like this and were very happy. Ben also smiled because it had been a long time since he enjoyed a fireworks festival like this.

The fireworks festival ended after 15 minutes. Ben smiled and called for the girls to return to Joseph's residence. He called their names, but none of the girls responded. So he checked on them and found out they had fallen asleep.

"They were forcing themselves to stay awake." Ben sighed.

"Well, they've been waiting for this event all day. So they were very excited to watch it." Lisa replied.

Ben smiled and rubbed Wendy's hair. He's glad they enjoyed this trip to the capital. He really should take them on a trip every once and a while.

This was a very fruitful trip for them. He was runner-up in the Grand Magic Prix, he met a dragon that can help him even though it was just a remnant of a dragon, and the girls really liked the trip.

Ben then carried Wendy in front of him and put Bella and Carla on her stomach. They then return to Joseph's residence to get a good night's sleep before heading back to the village tomorrow.

The next day, Ben and the girls bid farewell to Joseph and Lisa after breakfast. They were going to return to their village so the others wouldn't be worried.

Ben and co leave the capital with a lot of souvenirs they purchased. Lisa also gave them some more items, so now their car's trunk and back seat were full.

"Ben nii-san, where did you go yesterday?" Wendy asked.

"The mountain north of the capital. I sensed something strange there, so I decided to check it out. Then I found this." Ben took the dragon lacrima out of his pocket.

Carla raised a eyebrow and asked, "A red lacrima crystal? Is that it?"

"This isn't any ordinary lacrima, it's a dragon lacrima. A lacrima filled with a dragon's power that can grant someone the dragon's magic. In other words, the lacrima can turn someone into a Dragon Slayer." Ben explained.

The girls were surprised to hear this and their eyes widened. They never knew Dragon Slayer Magic could be obtained from a crystal and not by learning it from a real dragon.

Ben didn't tell them that this method of obtaining Dragon Slayer Magic didn't include the risk of Dragonization. They didn't know there was such a risk, and they didn't need to find out.

Wendy is already fine with Grandeeney sleeping in her body. So she won't turn into a dragon, unlike him who still has the risk of that happening. It would only scare her if she knew about such a risk.

It took them 2 hours to get back to the village and meet Roubaul at the guild hall. They reported what they had done yesterday, including obtaining the dragon lacrima.

"What should I do with this Gramps?" Ben asked.

"You can save it for the future. You never know when you'll need it. We can use it on a weapon to use it's magic, but I'm not sure if even mithril can contain the heat." Roubaul said while analyzing the lacrima.

"I think you're right. I'm sure a Heat Dragon can reach my level of heat and even exceed it. His power is the heat itself, not me who can only utilize the heat of the sun." Ben said.

"Yeah, but if he is looking up at your dragon parent that much, it means his heat couldn't reach the heat produced by the Sun Dragon. So I think his heat is far higher than yours, but lower than the Sun Dragon Escanor's. Possibly around the temperature of the sun's surface or the middle section, while Escanor can use the temperature of the sun's core." Roubaul stated.

Roubaul's theory sounded possible and it made sense to Ben. The dragons are like human mages, they have varying levels of power. Some are stronger than others, while some are weaker.

Smog is clearly weaker than Escanor who received the title of a Ancient Dragon God. That's why A.I Chip didn't recommend Ben use his dragon lacrima.

It has lower potential than the power he received from Escanor. So it wouldn't help him and might actually disturb his progress. He just needed to focus on his Sun Dragon Slayer magic for the time being.

Even Smog said that Escanor was an Ancient Dragon God. That means he was one of the strongest dragons in history and his potential is top tier. There was no need to add another power because this was enough.

"I will teach you Spatial Magic to keep that lacrima safe. It's a type of magic that involves manipulating space to access alternate dimensions like a pocket dimension to keep anything inside it as long as you have enough room." Roubaul said.

"Oh, that's a good idea. It will be useful if I need to keep anything I find." Ben said.

Roubaul taught Ben the magic needed to open the pocket dimension that day. It wasn't easy for him to learn a new type of magic. But he liked to learn something new and continue practicing with it.

He learned how to open the pocket dimension in 4 days and only had 1 small room in his pocket dimension. It was small and could only hold a few things, but it's enough for now. He could increase it's size the longer he used the magic and understood it.

After learning Spatial Magic, Ben decided to train one of the sun's powers that he hadn't learned, gravity. His heat, fire and light elements that formed the sun's plasma reached a bottleneck.

So he can't raise their power fast enough now. He thought it was because he left the sun's gravity power and only trained the other power. So now he will start training with it and strengthen his Sun Dragon Slayer Magic.
