All battles until the top 8 are decided have concluded. All top 8 students are from E-Class. They're Ron, Gea, Hans, Dan, Olive, Cya, Parka and Yorki.
Felice lost her battle with Hans in the top 16. Hans tired her out with his clones and she wasn't able to find the real Hans. Hans struck her when she became exhausted and won easily, knocking her out of the tournament.
The quarterfinal matches would be held tomorrow. So now everyone can return to their homes and rest. Team Ben also returned to their village after checking on the students' condition.
The S-Class students were bitter after losing to the E-Class students. But many of them started to reevaluate themselves and resolved to become stronger. Although some of them couldn't accept their loss and were still angry about it.
"Teacher, we can't accept this loss. Those E-Class must've cheated." Rowan, the S-Class student that bullied Hans, said.
"That's right teacher." Some other students said, agreeing with Rowan's statement.
"Stop it! You're just embarrassing yourself at this point. If you're a real mage, a real fighter, then you need to accept your loss." The 1st ranked S-Class student, the boy who lost to Ron, Matt yelled at his classmates.
"Matt is right. You need to accept your loss to Hans and become stronger from it." The mayor's daughter, Rose, said.
The students looked down at the ground and thought Matt and Rose were right. But they weren't willing to accept it.
"But now our class is being looked down on by everyone else in the school." Rowan said, gritting his teeth in anger.
"Then how about this. What if our teacher challenged their teacher to show that this class isn't weak. Their teacher is just a kid like us, so he shouldn't be that strong." A random S-Class girl said.
"That's right, if our teacher wins, then our class won't be looked down on by anyone." A random boy said.
Matt and Rose sighed at their simple mindedness. If Ben can help E-Class students become that strong, then he must be very strong too. Rose knew it first hand because Ben often took difficult jobs from her father.
"Fine. I also want to teach that brat a lesson." The S-Class teacher said.
Everyone was surprised by this and had different reactions. Matt and Rose were surprised because their teacher is too hot-headed. They know that their teacher is angry over the results, but he shouldn't follow his impulse like this.
The other students got excited by the proposal. They were happy because they thought their teacher can avenge them. They're just brats, after all, so their minds are simple. The teacher seemed to be like that too.
The next day, they started the quarterfinal round. Ben didn't think too much about who would win now. It's a guarantee that his students will win this round. It wasn't a problem of who would win among his students.
On the last day, the stadium was full of people. There were a lot of people from the kingdom's government, the Magic Council and the legal guilds. They've heard about the strength of the E-Class students and came to see it for themselves.
The guild masters and Magic Council members who acted as judges spread the word. They said that this school's exam is the most interesting among all magic schools.
So several organizations sent their men to check it out. They wanted to see if the news was true and if it was, they'll try to recruit the students. Magic schools are a way for them to find new members for their organizations. So they hope the news is true.
The quarterfinal is held one by one in an arena. They were only 4 matches, so they wouldn't hold them in all 4 arenas. At the end of the quarterfinal, the 4 students that won were Ron, Olive, Cya and Yorki.
Then the semifinal started shortly after that. Ron vs Cya, the winner was Ron. Then Olive vs Yorki, the winner is Yorki. So the final round would be Ron vs Yorki. But first they would hold the battle to decide 3rd place. Olive would face Cya, and Cya won the battle.
The guests from the organizations that came to watch the exam were excited. They all thought the same thing, the students in the top 8 weren't just students, they were full-fledged mages. Their mentality wasn't that of students, and they're ready for the world of mages.
They all asked the headmaster what the school's method to raise the students was. The headmaster just laughed and said the school wasn't responsible for this, it was their teacher.
"What kind of teacher can raise talent-less students like them to gain this mentality in a year?" A guild representative asked.
"He he, I'll tell you later. For now let's just watch the grand finale." The headmaster said.
"You're right." The representative said.
They all focused on the grand finale that was about to start. Ron and Yorki walk into the arena and get ready to fight. The battle in the grand finale isn't a surprise for the E-Class students because Ron and Yorki are two of the strongest students in the class.
They get ready to fight and the referee starts it after a moment. They rush towards each other with their fists covered in their magic, fire and lightning. They got into close combat and used all their skills.
They fought that way for a moment and used ranged attacks on occasion. They also use big attacks every once and a while, but not that often. They can't waste too much energy while fighting their classmates or they'll become tired.
Their battle heats up and it drew everyone's attention. They get hit and receive injuries, but they didn't stop. They fight for 15 minutes, back and forth many times.
Then finally after 17 minutes, the winner was decided. Both Ron and Yorki use their strongest attacks. Ron used a flaming tornado that spun fast to attack Yorki. While Yorki used a lightning cannon which fired a big shot of lightning.
Their attacks clash and there's a stalemate. But then, Yorki's lightning cannon pierced the flaming tornado and headed towards Ron. Ron was hit and electrocuted by it, then he fell to the ground, defeated.
Yorki had won the tournament and the audience cheered for him. The final battle was the most interesting to watch because both Ron and Yorki went all out from the start. It's a very interesting battle for students at the magic school's level.
The exam was now complete with E-Class dominating all of the exams. It was over, or at least that should have been the case. But the S-Class teacher made it run a bit longer when he suddenly walked onto the arena.
"What are you doing, Mr. Henry?" The headmaster asked from his seat.
"Headmaster, I want to challenge the E-Class teacher to a duel. I want to see if he's truly strong or it's all talk. I don't want to disturb the student's exams, so I'll challenge him after the exam is finished." Mr. Henry said.
"Don't be stupid, Mr. Henry! I won't allo-" The headmaster wanted to say something, but Ben cut him off.
"It's alright, headmaster. He's doubting me and he must be doubting my student's power too. I assume many teachers and students here also think the same thing. So let's just finish this once and for all to avoid a bigger problem." Ben said.
"Alright, but you need to stop when it becomes dangerous." The headmaster said after remaining silent for a moment.
The teachers and students now get into an uproar, but the clueless guests were confused by this.
"Who's the kid? Why did he talk like that?" A kingdom representative asked.
"He's the E-Class teacher you've been asking for." The headmaster said.
The guests were surprised and the headmaster proceeded to explain what happened. They were surprised by the story and can't wait to see this duel.
"You're dead, brat." Henry said with a smirk.
Ben remained silent and smirked a little while shaking his head. Henry took this as a provocation and got mad. He assumed a stance and when the referee started the battle, Henry immediately prepared his magic.
Henry's magic is Earth Magic. He immediately ripped spears out of the ground to stab Ben. The spears head towards him, but Ben suddenly disappeared and only left yellow light behind.
Ben had covered his legs in light magic to move faster. He flashed towards Henry and leaped at his head. Then Ben kicked the back of his head with a full powered light kick. The impact made Henry quickly fly into the barrier and crack it.
But Ben wasn't finished with him just yet. He flashed again and now he punched Henry's jaw with his right fist. The punch was so strong, it cracked Henry's jawbone and made him faint. Ben easily won the duel.
