Chiaki looked at herself in the mirror before turning around, taking off her shirt to see the G-Maxed Butterfree tattoo on her upper back. "Huh, the picture doesn't do it justice… it's actually pretty cool."
She smiled. "Okay, I actually like it. It's so pretty…" She giggled.
Ding dong!
"...Huh?" Chiaki wondered. "Wonder if they ordered pizza." She said before shrugging. "Oh well, I'll have a slice or two after I'm done."
She unhooked her bra, then took off the rest of her clothing as she stepped into the shower, turning the faucet on and letting the hot water strike her, flowing through her body. "Haaaa…" She closed her eyes, letting it relax her.
Of course, her mind was also on her Twilight counterpart. She frowned at the thought of her and let out a sigh.
We can't just let her get away with it, but what choice do we have? Her Triforce will just make sure she'll just bullshit her way through anything… I mean, I did get several good hits on her, but still. Do we have to just sit idly and watch her continue to slaughter everything…
Chiaki groaned. Crap, what are we gonna do? Not only that, but she's really tough… can we actually beat someone like her?
She reached for the shampoo, deep in thought. Come to think of it, that dream I just had… Weiss came out of nowhere to fight Twilight in her Fierce Deity form. Could she be key to defeating Twilight?
She folded her arms, letting the shampoo travel through her body. Was it actually a vision though? Could Weiss actually be a key player there? …But why was I at Memory Skyscraper of all places?
"Hmmm…."
Chiaki opened her eyes. "Regardless, I'm gonna have to chat with Weiss about this… though given what she's been through, I ought to give her some space before the time is right… which means we're gonna have to watch Twilight do more terrible things…"
She groaned, screaming in her head.
Why does she have to be such a massive pain in the rear though! God, I hope she doesn't do anything stupid!
She took a deep breath. Relax… deep breath… don't worry about it for now. Just be calm and hope for something fun to show up to get my mind off things.

"Oh my goodness." Avinia said as she was brought up to speed. "So this Adam took away your Rathalos just so he can lure you in and kill you?"
"That's what we're all thinking, yes…" Weiss nodded.
"Oh goodness me! What a despicable man… I've never heard of someone monster-napping a Rider's Monstie, let alone one being an Azure Rathalos." Avinia shook her head. "It's disgusting… but I'm sure you will find Adam and knock him down. Of course, that Glavenus of his might be another issue."
Avinia smiled. "But I've full confidence that you got this."
"See, Weiss? Avinia has your back!" Navirou smiled.
Weiss chuckled. "That's a relief." She said as they walked to the village, where some friendly Popo greeted them with a nuzzle, then they walked past the windmills before entering the village.

BGM: Wish Upon a Windmill - Kuan Village (Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin)
"Welcome to Kuan Village." Avinia said. "My home's this way."
"This place feels very low-key… I like it." Mine said.
"Yeah, it's very chill… wait, shoot, pun unintended!" Mahiru blushed.
"Too late~!" Yang grinned, causing Mahiru to sigh as they made their way to Avinia's home.
"So, there's something I wanted to bring up but I didn't want anyone else to hear this conversation." Avinia said. "It's about the Ratha and his Wings of Ruin."
"What about it?" Ruby asked.
"While the legend does sound horrific, something about this bugs me. Razewing Ratha was born and then suddenly, calamities all over happened all at once? It has to be a coincidence. There's no way a Rathalos would be responsible for a natural disaster."
"Thank you! That's what I've been mulling over. It's just a hell of a coincidence, yet some folk like to pin blame on somethin'." Zinnia shook her head.
"Indeed. I personally believe Razewing Ratha is innocent. Same with this Rathalos." Avinia said. "However, what's interesting is that you're wanting to suppress the Rathalos' power in case if the Wings of Ruin holds true. Why is that?"
"Mmmm… better to be safe than sorry?" Kora guessed.
"Hmm… I guess that makes sense. Yet I do not believe these strange happenings are coming from this Rathalos."
"It had happened before Ratha hatched." Ena explained.
"Hmm, if that's the case, pinning the blame on this Rathalos doesn't make sense. True, the wings are small…" Avinia rubbed her chin. "Suppressing the power just to make sure does sound a bit logical, given this Wings of Ruin tale sounds scary if true…"
Avinia closed her eyes. "Though, I must confess, I didn't come across you by chance, you know."
"Huh?" Navirou asked.
She reopened her eyes, turning to her Barioth. "Frostfang had sensed something, so I followed him. That's what brought me to you." Avinia said. "Given the fact that Frostfang isn't acting hostile toward Ratha, that should indicate that this Rathalos is safe."
"What we need to know is what Guardian Ratha wanted to bestow unto us… he gave me the egg, after all." Ena said.
"Curious… suppressing the power so the power of the Wings of Ruin wouldn't be destructive just to be on the safe side is a smart move, but yet… hmm…" Avinia rubbed her chin in thought. "Forgive me, this whole tale of the "Wings of Ruin" over an innocent Rathalos with smaller-than-usual wings has me a bit dumbfounded, to be honest. I'm sure you are too."
"It's true. It's a bit… out there." Terra said.
"If this had happened more than once, then the legend has to be true, but it happened only once and it's never been sprung up again until now." Zinnia said. "It's bogus in my eyes. Plus, part of the mural had faded out…"
"So because of that, the Wyverian elder and his companion are paranoid over this Wings of Ruin, and they believe this Rathalos is the one." Avinia shook her head. "Personally, I don't blame you for wanting to suppress an unfathomable power, but can we really be so sure? Again, forgive me for doubting, but something just doesn't add up."
"We understand… it does seem rather odd." Blake nodded.
"Indeed. Know that I do not hold this against you, for anyone would try to suppress some dangerous power to be safe."
"Quick question. Are there any other sites that had that ominous light?" Kora asked.
"There's a pit over at Snowclad Mt. Lavinia. The ominous light has had many folks here unsettled in Kuan. They're worried that the village will be destroyed once again."
"What happened last time?" Cardin asked.
"Are you familiar with the Black Blight?"
"No… haven't heard about it."
"I suppose it was just a problem over here then." Avinia frowned.
"The Black Blight was a phenomenon that set monsters in a rage all because the ecosystems were out of balance." Ena explained.
"I… guess it didn't reach my island…" Kora said.
"Regardless, my village was blighted into nothingness… I hope that will never happen again." Avinia closed her eyes before opening them with a smile. "So, let me whip you something up and then you can go say hi to the chief! Considering you might be staying here a while, he more than likely will give you a place at the inn."
"Alright! And the chief's house is… where?" Luminary asked.
"Other side of the village. You can't miss it."
"Alright. Thanks." Ruby said as they walked off, once they had something to eat, of course.
"Hmmm…" Avinia looked directly at Rosalina. "That tall one… Rosalina, was it? I can't help but feel as if there's some otherworldly power to her."
At the chief's house…
"My my, I've heard that a large party had strolled into the village with Avinia." The chief said. "You must be the party in question. Heck, you must be Avinia's friends!"
"That'd be us!" Navirou said. "We are-"
One introduction later…
"A pleasure to meet you all. I am Chief Daul! You're welcome to stay in our village for as long as you'd like. Ours is yours, after all." He smiled. "Besides, offering you hospitality is the least I can do in repaying you!"
"Repaying you…?" Wendy wondered. "What do you mean?"
"You can't hide it from me. A Rathalos rider and an unusual Felyne? You're the folks who saved the world from the Black Blight!" He smiled.
"O-oh!" Kora blushed a bit. "This is a bit awkward, but you see-"
"Woooow, I'm even more popular than I thought~!" Navirou grinned. "The two of us are definitely legends-"
"W-wait a moment! That's not true, you see, I'm-"
"A totally claw-dacious Rider, that's for sure!"
"No, can you let me fin-"
"We were able to claw our way to the top with that Black Blight!"
"Um, but Kora here-"
"Up up up!" Navirou shushed Yang. "Chief, my good man, if you need anything-"
"Oh, for the love of Hakolo Island! I'm NOT the same person! The rider in question is my grandfather!" Kora yelled in frustration.
"...Way to ruin the ride." Navirou groaned.
"Oh… Ooooooh!" Daul blushed in embarrassment. "My mistake! It's just that he had the same Rathalos as you have, though this one's wings are tinier." He mused. "That said, you must be following in your grandfather's footsteps!"
"Um, hello! I was with Red too!" Navirou said.
"You seem to have a heavy burden on your shoulders. But with your friends, I'm sure they're able to share the burden with you." Daul said. "If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask. I'm sure you are just as amazing with your Rathalos as your grandfather. Perhaps you can help us ever since that pit opened up…"
"I… suppose." Kora blushed a bit. Geez, talk about pressure…
"Now then, since it's a bit late, I'll see if I can show you to your rooms at the inn. When you and your friends are ready in the morning, we'll see if we can't fix that windmill." He walked off.
"...What just happened?" Kora asked.
"If you had let me do all the talking, you wouldn't feel the weight on your shoulders now." Navirou said.
"I had to! You were hyping him up for potential disappointment!"
"What? What do you mean "hyping up for disappointment"? That more than likely has never happened before!"
Everyone gave each other a side glance with a "Is he actually serious?" look.
"Ah, whatever. I'm sure we'll get a good night's rest."

Later into the night…
Avinia looked out of her window, noticing Rosalina having set up a telescope and looked straight up into the night sky. "Hmm?" She wondered. She's alone… should I…? No, it would be rude to confront her.
She found herself approaching Rosalina several seconds later. Oh darn, I'm about to confront her! Why did I start moving toward her?
"Oh, that's a cute little galaxy." Rosalina said. "That asteroid belt looks fascinating!"
"Um… excuse me." Avinia spoke up.
"Hmm? Oh, hello Avinia."
"Say, um… there's something I want to know."
"What is it?"
"Are you… from another planet of some kind?" Why would I say it like that?!
"Hmm? What do you mean?"
"There's just… something otherworldly about you. I can't describe it."
BGM: Luma (Super Mario Galaxy)
"Well, I am not from here, that is true… but as for being from another planet-"
Avinia leaned forward with anticipation.
"Yes, I've come here to drain your blood in your sleep."
"I knew it! …Huh?!" Avinia whimpered, turning pale.
Rosalina giggled. "Relax, I am just teasing you." I've definitely been hanging around Palutena too long…
"Oh, oh you are… oh thank heavens…" Avinia sighed with relief.
"In truth, I have been asked that a lot. You are not the first to ask me that."
"It's just… well… I've never seen a woman such as you so… tall before. Not to mention you're the mother of Ruby and Yang, which… by the way, is Ruby going through a rebellious phase or-"
"None at all." Rosalina responded. "I am but their stepmother. Yang's biological mom walked out of Yang's life and Ruby's biological mom had perished while out on the field. Their father was devastated and tried to raise two daughters. Yang tried to find her mother while Ruby was with her father most of the time… and that's when I walked into their lives."
"Really?"
"Indeed. I had grown to know Ruby and Yang quite well, even their father. At that point, Yang's biological mother came back and, let's just say it was rather rocky, but they were able to repair their relationship, but… she never was able to remarry the father because, well, we were dating at the time, but she was happy for the two of us. Later on, I married my husband and became the stepmother to two beautiful girls… alongside another gorgeous daughter of mine, a handsome son and a cute little boy as well."
"That's… wonderful. You probably have some otherworldly presence to you because… you're honestly very pretty, especially under this moonlight."
Rosalina smiled sweetly. "Thank you."
"They're definitely blessed to have someone like you in their li-oh!" Avinia exclaimed in surprise where Rosalina hugged her.
Rosalina smiled. "Yes. I'm very honored to still be their mother." She smiled, letting go of her.
"Um… thank you for your time!" Avinia said as she walked off. Goodness gracious, her hug felt like I was swimming in clouds directly over the warm sun! That was the best hug I've ever experienced! I… I think I needed that.
Rosalina giggled before turning back to look at the sky, while nearby, Tsukino, who was covered in a heavy coat, peeked from some snow-covered shrubbery.
"I can't even detect a malicious aura from her." Tsukino whispered. "Not to mention Ruby and Yang seem like good people… I haven't picked up on anything odd from them either aside from the red one's green arm…"

Resume Wish Upon a Windmill - Kuan Village BGM
"Ah, good to see how… some of you have made it." Daul said as Kora was up front along with CRDL, Zinnia, Gloria, Mercedes and Ruby. "Are the rest of you still sleeping?"
"Nah, we go out as a small group. A lot more would be overkill." Cardin said.
"Haha! Good point!" Daul nodded.
It's a shame Rosalina's not joining us… Avinia thought.
"Now then, this particular windmill is missing some parts. We'd normally get them over in Loloska Forest, but the monsters are acting up. If you could get some from the forest, that'd be great!" Daul explained.
"You can count on us!" Kora nodded.
"I'll lead the way." Avinia said as she hopped on Frostfang.
"Is it me, or do you look a lot happier than yesterday?" Mercedes asked.
Avinia blushed. "I… do not know what you're talking about." She said and walked off, where they would walk ahead while taking care of a Great Baggi and some Zammites, and then they spotted a den as CRDL walked in.
"We should probably wait for them." Kora said.
"You sure they don't need help?" Avinia wondered, where they heard loud roaring coming from the den. "...Because I think we should help them-"
CRDL walked out, an egg by Cardin's waist.
"-Get an… egg…? What was that? That sounded like an Anjanath roar!"
"It was. We stole an egg right when the mama beast was waking off. Luckily we fended her off no problem!"
Avinia sweatdropped. "But Anjanath's are… strong Brute Wyver-..." She blinked. "You guys are stronger than you look."
Sky grinned. "Nothing we can't handle. We've faced tons of Anjanath's before!"
"Oh. I see… that explains it." Avinia nodded as they headed toward the forest, where they would see a Gammoth snoozing away while some Popo quietly avoided her. They snuck past it and went inside the forest.

BGM: A Path Among the Trees (Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin)
Once they entered the forest, Cardin's egg started to hatch. "Hmm?" He wondered as he put the egg down, and then an Anjanath popped out of it.
"Oh my goodness!" Ruby exclaimed.
"I had a feeling." Russel said.
"Hmmm…" Cardin folded his arms, closing his eyes.
Inside Cardin's imagination…
"You bullies pick on someone you're own size!" Laura said.
"Oh yeah? You're just one little girl against five of us… and you think you can defend this skinwalker? Give us a good reason why we shouldn't beat you up!"
"Try me." Laura folded her arms. "I dare you."
"Get 'er!"
THUD!
The Anjanath landed between her and the bullies, causing the Bullies to pale at the sight of the beast. The Anjanath let out a massive roar, causing the bullies to pale.
"AAAAAAAAAAAH!" They screamed as they ran away. "WE'LL NEVER BULLY A FAUNUS AGAIIIIN!"
"Heh~" Laura smirked and petted the Anjanath, who turned his head and nuzzled against her. "Who's a ferocious bodyguard~? You are~!"
Outside of Cardin's imagination…
Cardin smirked. "Heheheh, that's the perfect bodyguard for my sis."
"Sooo, what are we going to call this big guy?" Russel wondered.
"Oh, I'll think of something." Cardin said as they walked off… only to be greeted by several Congas, one of them being a Congalala. "Ooooh no."

The Congalala let out several "ooks", ordering them to attack the group.
"Ha! Look at these chumps thinking they can take us on!" Zinnia said, calling out her Altaria while Gloria decided to call out her Rapid Strike Urshifu as they proceeded to fight off the Congas.
The Congalala meanwhile, decided to make Zinnia its target and jumped in, throwing his arms down at her but she gracefully backflipped. "Oho! You want to go, big guy?" She smirked, cracking her knuckles. "Bring it on! Altaria, you deal with the henchmen. This ape is mine!"
"Tari!"
The two of them lunged forward, both of them delivering swift punches as Zinnia threw in a few kicks to amp it up, even throwing in a roundhouse kick to knock the Congalala's teeth out, but the Congalala responded by chomping down on her foot, luckily the shoe took most of the blow.
Zinnia yanked her leg back as the Congalala pounded his chest. "Do your worst! I can take it!" She declared as she lunged at the Congalala, but the monster cheekily smirked and turned around, facing his butt right at her.
"Huh?!"
"Oook ook!" The Congalala then let it rip.
"AAAAAAAAAACK!" She cried out.
"Oooooh!" Cardin grimaced as he had witnessed what had happened. "That's… unfortunate."
"As someone who's been sprayed by a Stunky before, I know the feelin' rather well!" Gloria said.
"...Why did you get sprayed by a Stunky?" Ruby asked.
"It's embarrassin' to say…"
"Did you just… did you just…" Zinnia's eye twitched. "DID YOU JUST…"
The Congalala turned around with a cheeky trollish grin on his face, pulling his eye socket down and blew a raspberry at her.
"OH, YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY?!" She yelled. "WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT, YOU DAMN DIRTY PRIMEAPE!"
"...Wouldn't that be "Damn dirty Congalala"?" Avinia wondered.
"Altaria, roast this bastard with a Flamethrower!"
"Tariiiii!" Altaria unleashed a Flamethrower right as the Congalala decided to do it again just for insult to injury.
Cardin's eyes widened. "EVERYONE GET DOWN!"

Back at Kuan Village…
"There we go. A perfect snowman!" Wendy smiled.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The resounding earthquake was enough to cause the snowman to collapse… not to mention causing an avalanche deeper into the mountains.
"Awww…" Wendy pouted.
"What was that?" Sienna wondered, seeing a mushroom cloud in the distance.
"If I had to guess, it was probably Gloria." Blake said as she sniffed the air, courtesy of some unfortunate downwind. "...Or… something other rather stinky… oh gods…"
"My nose!" Ilia cried while Seryu put her shirt over her nose to cover it while everyone else either plugged their nose, waved their hands or followed Seryu's example.
Back with the others…
Due to the fiery explosion, everyone else was comically covered in soot while several trees were blown out, the other Congas were knocked out dead, a nearby Gypceros was knocked out cold, an Anjanath had decided to take a dip in a lake to avoid the smell. Several blue Konchu were out cold on their backs…
And one unfortunate Kecha Wacha was holding onto its snout while running away, trying to get away from that horrific smell. Its eyes were also very watery too.
As for the Congalala… well, it was currently ashes.
Zinnia blinked, looking up and extinguishing a small flame on her head with just her fingertips. "Good riddance."
Ruby coughed out soot. "Well… that's… one way to get rid of it." She said as Cerberus shook the soot off.
"For the record, I didn't think he was gonna do that bullshit again." Zinnia said.
Avinia coughed out soot. "Really… I haven't noticed!" She snarked.
"I think my whiskers need to regrow from that…" Navirou said as Kora batted her ear to get some soot out of her ears.
"Right… let's just… go find the windmill parts." Avinia said as they walked off, either finding a monster that was either knocked out or had met a rather unfortunate end to the explosion. In fact, some other Congas that weren't a part of the battle were definitely KO'd from the resounding explosion.
"Well, on the bright side, thanks to my Pocket Monster, we were able to be rid of them." Zinnia said.
"Ya know… speaking of which… I've been thinking." Navirou spoke up. "Pocket Monster sounds way too much of a mouthful. How about we shorten it instead? We could call it… hmm…"
"Pocketmon?" Kora guessed.
"Mmm, doesn't roll off the tongue…" Navirou mumbled. "...Aha! I got it! We'll call 'em Pokemon for short!"
Ruby's eyes widened as everyone aside from Avinia glanced over at Gloria, who had a severe eye twitch and a scowl forming in her face. To say that she was greatly annoyed by this was an understatement.
"Riiiiight… Pokemon… why dinnae I think of that…" She said through gritted teeth.
"You're welcome!" Navirou grinned, oblivious to the fact that Gloria's head was twitching like crazy.
"Wouldn't it been better if she said "Capsule Monster"?" Sky whispered to his team.
"I think it would've been shortened to Capmon at that rate." Cardin whispered back.
"Aaah, good point…"
"You need something to punch?" Ruby whispered.
"Either that or I'm screamin' at the top of my fockin' lungs, YES."
"I had a punching bag… but that got incinerated…" Zinnia chuckled sheepishly.
"Here, punch me. I can take it." Cardin said.
"...I'd be tearin ye to shreds…"
"Ooooh, we're at that stage already?" Cardin pulled away. "No thanks, I like my limbs!"
At that moment, a creature walked through the trees in what was left of the darkened area as they would spot webbing all around them. They heard something hissing nearby.
"Oh, I think we're in Nerscylla territory…" Cardin said as the Anjanath snorted, ready to fight as a Nerscylla lowered itself from its webbing, letting out a screech.
BGM: Predator of Darkness (Monster Hunter 4)
At that moment, Gloria calmly approached the Nerscylla, clenching her fists.
"Gloria, what are you doing?!" Avinia asked as she tried to walk after her, but Ruby put her arm out.
"Wait."
"What do you mean "wait"? She's going to-"
"Relieve some stress." Ruby responded.
"What do you-"
The Nerscylla screeched at Gloria and lunged at her.
POW!
CRACK!
BANG!
*Record scratch*
The Nerscylla screeched in agony as Gloria continued to pummel the monster effortlessly. It tried to scramble away, but Gloria, in her Scolipede form, yanked the stinger out of the thorax and proceeded to stab her multiple times.
The Temnocerean tried to run away, attempting to hide behind the heroes as a safety net, but was pulled away. It let out a whimpered screech, comically pulling out a sign that said "Help meeeee!"
POW!
BANG!
BAP!
RRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP
"Ooooh! She just ripped the legs off like it was nothing!" Kora grimaced.
"And now she's beating its thorax like a drum!" Navirou exclaimed.
"...With her bare hands…" Avinia whispered in disbelief. "She's… she's not human!"
"And to think I was going to heal everyone up later…" Mercedes mused.
Nearby, Tsukino looked on in horror as she pulled out a note, writing something down.
People to watch out for:
Gloria
"I'll never get on her bad side… I should probably warn Kyle before it's too late…" Tsukino mused, quickly jotting something down and putting it inside of a bird, then promptly flew away to Kyle.
"Hah… hah… hah…" Gloria panted, standing on top of the now deceased Nerscylla. "RAAAAAAAAAH!" She let out a war cry, while her friends pulled out scorecards giving her perfect tens, causing the others to sweatdrop.
"Why are you scoring her?!" Navirou wondered.
"Oh Arceus, that felt good!" Gloria hopped off while Cardin promptly went off to take care of what was left of the Nerscylla.
"Soooo uh… should we head back now… wherever "back" is?" Navirou wondered.
"Frostfang knows where to go." Avinia said. "You see, back then, this was where I first met him when I was a little girl."
"Really? Details, please!" Navirou said.
"It was a cold night, and I was by myself wandering alone. I was cold and miserable… but then I saw this shadowy figure. Before I knew it, I gave it a big hug, and the fur was soft! It was also a Barioth!"
"Wait, so the shadowy figure was him? …And you hugged him? No survival instincts, huh?" Navirou deadpanned.
"Well, surprisingly, he was rather friendly. He kept me warm until the villagers arrived to pick me up."
"A wild monster protecting you… that's rather sweet!" Navirou grinned. "You must've had a special connection!"
"I did, honestly. Perhaps it was destiny… like with Kora and Ratha." Avinia smiled. "Or fate, if you prefer."
"Ha! What about me? It was fate that we met too back then!" Navirou said.
At that moment, everyone was already leaving, complete with the windmill parts as well, leaving him behind.
"So how are you able to pull apart a Nerscylla like that, Gloria?" Avinia asked.
"Ah, like my friends say, I'm just built different."
"I can see that!" She giggled.
"Huh?! Wait for me!" Navirou cried as he ran off.
Meanwhile… with Kyle…
"Huh? A message?" He wondered as he pulled it off of the bird to read it.
"Whatever you do, do NOT mess with a girl known as Gloria. She's not human. She will eat you for breakfast and use your limbs to turn your ribcage into a xylophone. She's that dangerous. Do not engage if she's angry. I had witnessed a monster destroying a Nerscylla with her bare hands. - Tsukino"
Kyle raised an eyebrow, tilting his head. "Tsukino, what did you eat…? Everyone knows you can't dismantle a Nerscylla with your bare hands… that's impossible!"
He noticed more writing at the back, turning it over.
"P.S.: Before you ask, I am sober as I am writing this."
Kyle sweatdropped. "...Uh-huh…"
Ibuki: He laughs now, but when he faces a livid Gloria-chan... hoo boy...
Deadpool: He'll be eating crow!
Indeed! ...Also, apparently there's going to be a new Legend of Zelda live action movie. Sweet!
