"Who wants to help me bring in firewood before having the bonfire?" Papa Dupain asked. "Can I volunteer Adrien as tribute?" Marinette giggled as she flipped a page in her Hunger Games book. Adrien rolled over from his place by the fire, and sat up. "Very funny, love. And do you suppose if I go out into the forest I'll find Mocking Jays?" "Maybe not Mocking Jays," Papa said. "But wait until after dark and you can hear the owls." "I'd be glad to help," Adrien said, standing up. "Don't forget your coat, sweetie," Mama Cheng said from her rocking chair where she was sewing. "Now that its fall, its a bit chilly out there."

Adrien followed Papa outside, and sighed happily. He liked it out here in the woods with his family, newly married to Marinette. They were putting off their honeymoon to give Tom and Sabine a break from bakery work.

Already, the sun was setting and the trees threw off long shadows. "I'll split the logs if you want to put them on the tree stump, Adrien." "No, I've gotten it, Papa. Claws Out!"

It was much easier swinging his ax with his powers, and Cat felt like a woodsman. But even with his powers, Cat felt out of shape. He was glad when the cutting was done, and he and Papa could go fishing by the small stream by the cabin. "Pretty soon you'll be teaching your son to fish," Papa said as they cast their lines. "That is, if you want children." "Oh, we do. Though I think Marinette can only handle one bundle of fluff at the moment." "I know Sabine and I seem like the perfect couple, but we've had our spats too." Cat blinked in surprise. "But you two are so sweet! What could you have done to tick Mama off?" Papa blushed. "I told her baker puns. At first, she liked it, but after awhile she got annoyed. But secretly, I think she loves them." Cat giggled, thinking of Bugaboo's angry pout. "I'll be careful. Oh, I think I got a bite!"

No sooner then Adrien said this, when the fish decided it was going to win, and Cat went flying into the water.

"I can't believe the fish won!" Marinette giggled. "And your supposed to be fisherman." "That feisty fish got me. Guess it didn't want to be on the dinner menu served with potatoes tonight." "Hold still! I have dry your ears!" Cat did as he was told as he dried out in front of the wood stove. Thank goodness they've brought in the wood earlier, or Cat might not be in such a good mood!

"Do you think we'll make good parents someday, Princess?" "Cat, I'm not having a child yet. Your enough to handle." "But you do you think?" "Yes, I do. I've always wanted kids, and now that Paris is safe, we can start thinking about raising a family." "Just think, if we have a son, I can teach him puns. Your dad apparently told puns to your mother too. Baker puns." "Your kidding. Advice me not overwhelm with them, or I might find myself in the cat house." "Don't you mean doghouse?" "Whatever. I'm just glad Mama and Papa are around to guide us. After we started dating, they really became like parents to me." "Even if they didn't always know I'm Ladybug, they always supported me. Even through the very toughest times."

Marinette set the towel aside, and lent down by Cat, who pulled her close, listening to the crackling of the wood stove. They would always be their to support and guide each other, but for now they would enjoy the heat of the fire.
