"M'lady, over here!" Ladybug waved as she saw Cat Noir at the entrance to the pumpkin patch. "Hey there, pumpkin," he joked. "And a happy fall Saturday to you too, Kitty! Have you ever picked a pumpkin before?" "Maybe when I was younger. Maybe we'll find a pumpkin like did they did in that American show Marinette and I were watching last week." "Charlie Brown?" "Yeah!" "Cat, we don't need to bring home a huge pumpkin, just two for carving and a couple for pie." "Yum. Pie."

Cat bought their tickets and held out his hand for Ladybug to hold. "Maybe I'll paint mine instead," Cat mused aloud. "I've not very good at tools." "And I don't trust you with sharp objects," she giggled. "Hey, you'd be there to supervise me. What could happen…." Cat's voice faded away as saw a massive hay bale slide. "Last one to the top is a rotten egg!" Cat yelled, zooming off. "Hey, wait for me!" Ladybug called. This was the sure definition of a "Shiny Object" for Cat.

They had a marvelous time sliding down the slide, even when Ladybug got hay in her hair. "Ouch!" she yelped later, as Cat tried to DE-hay her. "That's not hay, that's my hair!" "Which I want to bat at so badly." Ladybug turned to her partner with a look that could have frozen water. "Don't you dare, fluff ball." "So. Shiny, must swipe!" Ladybug sighed as Cat batted her pigtails, meowing happily. "Cat, you don't see me batting at your hair, do you?" "No, you give it a wash at least once a week though." "That's because your tail lands you in trouble! How do you even find the mud puddles?" "Hey, when a cat gets the zooms, you have to zoom." "I sometimes wonder what Paris is thinking when they see one of their heroes running through the streets and meowing." "Think it this way, its like the running of the bulls!"

"Let's go pick a pumpkin." They picked their pumpkins carefully, and Ladybug had brought along her wagon. She was about to plonk them in, when Cat clambered in instead. "Excuse me, what are you doing?" Ladybug asks, and Cat yawned. "Hitching a ride home." "Cat, you can walk. The wagon is for the pumpkins." "Pile them on me. Then I can take a snooze." "Cat, I need to pull the wagon. If your in there, it will be to heavy." "Nah. I'm light as a feather, Princess." The heroes knew each other identities, but were still careful. "Fine. But only a short snooze."

Soon, wheels squeaking and Cat soon snoring, Ladybug wheeled her pumpkins and partner home. Cat dreamed of his perfect pumpkin, and this perfectly pumpkin-y day!
