"I am going to eat so much candy," Cat sighed happily as he and Ladybug walked down the street. "Cat, don't you remember what happened last time you ate a lot of candy?" Ladybug asked. Cat thought for a moment. "I was happy?" "No, you got a belly ache, and you were meowing all night long." Cat growled under his breath. "Ya know, sometimes your no fun." Ladybug snorted. "Which is exactly why I'm dressed as a salt shaker. I'm very salty!"
"So, I need to sweeten you up!" Cat grinned, leaning over to kiss her. It wasn't easy dressed as a sugar shaker. Though as the night wore on, Cat noticed that even though they were asking about candy, Ladybug made sure to ask everyone how they were, and if there was anything she or Cat could do to help.
"What are you doing?" Cat asked, as they took a break and Ladybug was typing something into her bug phone. "I want to make extra special presents for the people we talked to. After all, some don't have a lot of money. I was thinking blankets could be a good gift." "I'd gladly give money for that," Cat said, seriously.
"Cat?" Cat noticed the more serious tone in his lady's voice. "If we give the candy to the Dupain-Cheng's, they'll give us money. That way we could buy the supplies for the blankets. But it has to be both of our pails."
Cat took her hand. "My Lady, you may be salty at my puns at time, but your heart is in a very sweet place. Of course I give my pail away. After all, all the sweetest moments I have are with you, and that's better then candy any day."
It was a treat to work on such a worthy cause together, although Cat and Ladybug did play the usual trick on each other, all in good fun.
And hey, what's Halloween without some tricks and treats?
