Hey hey hey, so ya'll wanted Brooke to have the twins. Well your wish is my command. I didn't want the story to seem so rushed which is why I was doing it the way I was, but ya'll weren't having it and just wanted the twins to arrive.

It was 7 months and Lucas had still not woken up yet. I was due in a couple of weeks, but it can happen any day now. Dr Rossi had told me that with twins labour can come earlier, it's very common not to make it 9 months. I treated that as any day now.

My stomach was very big and I struggled to walk most days, but I always made myself go and visit Lucas. I did not want him to think I've given up.

"Hey Luke" I sit in the chair beside his bed "it's almost time now. The twins can come at any time. 7 months 3 weeks pregnant and yet it feels like a life time. One of the best experiences I've had" I place his hand on my stomach and the twins go crazy like they know its their daddy "I don't know if you can feel that, but their moving like mad"

I was getting worried now that it's been 7 months and he still has not woken up. What if he never does. I can't say bye to him. What am I meant to tell the babies. I mean of course I will always show them pictures and tell the stories about their daddy so they will know about him.

Ow. A sharp pain hit my body as I sit there. I wince at another one hitting me and then I felt it. A gush of fluid washed down my legs and made a puddle under me. I look at Lucas and then at the floor. My water just broke. I quickly call Peyton and tell her and told her to call Haley and Karen. My heart pounded against my chest at the thought of giving birth.

I press the nurse call bell and see Rachel come in "you okay Brooke" her smile fell when she saw a huge puddle underneath me "Oh god, you're in labour" I nodded "okay erm... Okay... Someone get me a wheelchair, we have a pregnant women about to give birth" Rachel calls out

Someone brings her a wheelchair and she helps me into it "lucky you're already in the hospital aye" I nod and wince at another contraction "remember to breathe through them"

I did just that as she took me to the maternity ward "Hi this is Brooke and her water just broke"

"Hi Brooke, we have a private room for you over there room 223. I will page Dr Rossi" I nod breathing through the contractions that seemed to be getting closer and longer together.

After what felt like hours I heard the sweet sound of a baby crying. I laid back on the bed with sweat beaming down my face.

"A beautiful baby boy" Dr Rossi says "I know you're tired Brooke, but baby girl isn't going to wait"

"I can't" I shake my head "I can't I'm tired"

"You can do this Davis. You're the most strongest person I know"

And I did I pushed with everything in me and out came my baby girl. No sound just her. Still no sound.

"Suction" I hear a nurse call out

"Is she okay. Is my baby okay" no one said anything "is she okay?"

"Just stay calm Brooke while the nurses do their magic" Dr Rossi says

It felt like forever, but then the sweet noise of a baby's cry filled my ears and I relaxed with tears in my eyes.

"And there you have a beautiful baby girl Brooke. Congratulations"

My life changed at that moment. I now have two beautiful little humans to take care of and show them the world and how to deal with it and everything else. I was a mom.

"Oh Brooke they're gorgeous" Peyton says smiling down at me.

Peyton walked outside to tell Haley and Karen that the babies had arrived just as Doctor Rossi brought both babies over to me and placed them each on my chest. Skin to skin contact.

"Oh aren't you two the most precious things" I coo at them. They were perfect. They were a mix of Lucas and I.

Once I was settled in my own room and the twins were cleaned up and changed into the outfits I had already packed in my hospital bag. I told Peyton to bring it with her. There were both in the basinet beside my bed. I told the nurse to leave them together in on basinet so they were close together. They looked so cute sleeping practically hugging each other.

There was a knock at the door and Karen's head popped in "can we come in?"

"Of course" I nodded.

Karen, Haley and Peyton walked in with Jake and Nathan.

"Oh my god Brooke they are so cute" Haley said looking down at the two of them "they look just like the two of you. Oh I'm so happy for you both. Lucas will be super happy when he wakes up"

"I going to take them up to see him tomorrow. Rachel said she'll come and take us"

"That's nice of her. Maybe the twins can get him to wake up" Peyton says

"That's the plan" I agree "Karen where's Lily?"

"She will be dropped off soon and I'll bring her up to see you. She is very excited to see her niece and nephew. That's all she can talk about since seeing the nursery"

I laughed "She was pretty excited the other day too"

"So" Haley says practically about to burst. She was bouncing on her feet with a smile. On her face.

"So what?" I ask looking at her

"Do we get to know their names now?"

Oh right I forgot they don't know that yet only Peyton.

"Oh right of course" I look down at my babies and my heart melted every time. They were mine. They were ours and they always will be. It's such a overwhelming feeling having a baby, but having two is a whole different feeling "everyone meet Wynter and Wyatt Davis Scott"

"Oh my Brooke those names are perfect" Karen's says "Wynter is going to be beautiful just like you and Wyatt will look just like Luke. I know it"

"Thank you Karen"

Everyone stayed for another hour or so holding both babies when they woke up. They all left except Peyton.

"So you figured out the babies name packs now?"

I nodded "They should be delivered tomorrow"

"Okay that's perfect I can put them up before you come home tomorrow"

"I'm gonna go see Luke and leave from there. I'll be discharged in the morning anyway"

"Okay well everything will be ready for you when you get home"

Peyton was such a good friend. She has den here for me through everything and I appreciate her so much.

"Okay love you"

"Love you too Davis" and then she left.

The next morning I woke to the sound of cries. Sweet precious cries. I slowly woke up and sat up. I switch the side of the bed light on. Wynter was crying. I picked her up and brought her into my chest. I undid my hospital gown and started to breast feed her. She latched on really well. I brought the pink pillow the nurse had given me and rested by arm on it for more support.

Once Wynter had finished she fell to sleep. I placed her back into the basinet with Wyatt and fell back to my own sleep.

I woke a few hours later as the sun came up and shined through the window. I blinked my eyes open and sat up. I looked down at the basinet and both babies were sleeping.

There was a knock at the door and then Rachel appeared "Hey Brooke" she walks in and over to the basinet "Oh what beautiful babies"

"Thank you"

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm good, actually I'm pretty great. I already love being a mom"

"I'm glad Brooke" She places a hand on her stomach "I'm due actually pretty soon. I'm now on maternity"

"Oh you do. That's great. Are you having a boy or girl?"

"Girl" She smiles "we've actually named her Taliyah"

"That's a nice name, I've named these two Wynter and Wyatt"

"Those are nice names too Brooke" she smiles at me "So the nurse said that she they have your discharge papers ready. Are you ready to go visit Lucas?"

"I need to get the twins ready and have a quick shower and get ready then I'll be ready"

"Okay how about I start to get Wynter ready and you have a shower and then I'll get Wyatt ready"

"Are you sure?" she nods "thank you so much Rach"

"No worries Brooke"

Rachel helped me up to Lucas's room. I had two car seats a my hospital bag. I sat down beside Lucas with both babies in their car seats. I thanked Rachel and then she said she'll wait outside for me. She offered to drive me home. All these months. Me and Rachel have become friends.

I took both babies out of their car seats and placed both on my lap. They were both sleeping so peacefully.

"Hey Luke" Wynter coos on my lap grabbing my finger "the twins are here. My water literally broke while I sat here with you yesterday. They are so cute Luke. There names are Wynter and Wyatt. Everyone says they look a mix of both of us which is good aye"

"I need you to wake up though Luke. They need their daddy"

"So Christmas is in a few weeks Luke and I'm hoping you'll wake up. It'll be the twins first Christmas. I mean they won't remember it, but I will"

I placed each baby next to him so he could and they could feel his presence. I'm not sure if it worked, but I would like to think so.

After about 2 hours Rachel dropped me and the twins home "Thank you so much you didn't have to stay and wait"

She waved it off "don't worry about it"

"Well you have my number so if you need anything. Oh and do let me know when Taliyah is born"

"Will do. I really do hope Lucas wakes up really soon. He is in my prayers as are the three of you"

"Thank you Rach. I'll see you soon" she smiles and then heads back to her car "Sawyer" I call walking into the house with both car seats "Sawyer we're home"

Peyton comes down the stairs and takes a car seat from me and heads up to their nursery. I follow behind. She had mounted their names on the wall. And now the nursery was complete. It looked more magical than I could ever think.

"Do you like it" I nodded as she took Wyatt out his car seat and placed him in his cot "He looks so precious asleep in there" I agreed he did.
