King Olly could hardly sleep that night. She had given him such a look! He shuddered at the thought of it. He eventually found himself dozing off.

He awoke and found himself facing the ceiling. King Olly rested his hands on his face, running them through his bangs. He flopped them back onto the bed and rubbed the wrist of his right arm.

"Why does it hurt? Did I sleep wrong?"

He rubbed his eyes, taking a look at his hands. There was no skin nor muscle, just the bones, still intact and able to move with a few blood smears here-and-there; especially near his wrist, where his arm was still normal. Based off of the amount of pain, the blood smears, and the torn edge of his wrist, it seemed as if his arm was burnt away with acid. He tried to remain calm, instead doing the opposite and letting out a blood-curdling scream. He clamped his left hand over his mouth, cutting the shriek short. The bones clattered softly as he shook, fearful for many reasons.

He stuttered the call for his sister. "Livi...!" He heard no response. He rushed to the basement, where the Origami Craftsman was teaching Olivia how to fold an origami cat. "Liviiii!"

She whipped her head in his direction, her curls bouncing. "Oh hi, Olly-!"

He grabbed her collar. "Livi, something's wrong with me!"

Her gaze moved up and down what she could see of him, which was only his bust and higher. "You look fine?"

He let go of her and slapped his boney hand onto her face. "No! Look at this!"

"Aah! Your hands are so cold! Get that off of me!" He pulled his arm away, finally seeing what King Olly was trying so hard to tell her. "Uhh...?! Huh?!" She screamed and tossed his hand at his face.

King Olly responded with another scream when it hit him between the eyes. "My hand?!"

Olivia screamed again. "I just threw your hand?!"

The Origami Craftsman stood between them. "You two need to calm down. There is no need to freak out like this!"

King Olly was in the process of attempting to replace his hand onto the joint that was now his wrist. "I feel like this is a completely correct time to be freaking out like this."

"Let me see your hand."

The twins shared a look and King Olly placed the hand onto the Origami Craftsman's open palm. He looked at it, screamed, then fainted.

"Origami Craftsman?!" Olivia went down to his level. "He's fainted, the poor Toad..."

King Olly grabbed his hand from the ground. "I can't get it back on..." One of the fingers fell off. "Um...Do we have any tape?"

King Olly flexed his fingers, the bones creaking against each other. "The tape worked..."

Olivia watched, horrified. "Um...You have a skeleton hand!"

"Yes, we've already been over that."

"How long was it like that?"

King Olly shrugged, letting his shoulders fall heavily. "I went to sleep, normal. I woke up like this."

"It happened overnight, then."

"Of course it did, idiot."

"But how do we fix it?"

He shrugged again. "I have no idea how this happened. If I did, I would recommend doing it again to see if it cancels the other out and reverse the magic."

"Wait, magic?"

He nodded. "Strong magic. And it reeks of evil."

Olivia stared at him, and he returned the gaze. "Oh, I see."

King Olly sighed. "What'll happen to me if we don't find a way to reverse it?"

Olivia was the one to shrug this time.

King Olly's arm began shaking lightly, and he closed his hand around it. Tears filled his eyes.

"Are you okay?"

"I-it hurts so much..."

"Let me see your arm."

King Olly tore at his sleeve, ripping it the entire way down. He was trying to pull it down, but was in too much pain and did it far too aggresively. Olivia gasped. The remaining part of his upper arm was evaporating away, leaving behind the bones and more blood smears.

"I really wish I didn't do or see that," King Olly said.

"It's getting worse. At this rate, you'll be a skelton by the afternoon."

"I don't want to be a skeleton! Help me reverse this!"

"Why wouldn't I?"

"Because you haven't been the slightest but helpful yet!"

Olivia tapper her chin. "Fair point." She made eye contact with her brother again. "You still have tears in your eyes..."

"I'm in pain, Livi."

"Ooh, yeah. That's another good point."

King Olly rubbed the fold in the center of his face. "Just help me fix my arm, Livi."
