Hey guys,

I'm so glad you guys are enjoying this story. It's actually nice to write a story with no drama in it and just a smooth Brucas story for once. It's a little weird for me, but it's nice anyhow.

I'm not sure how you guys are gonna take this chapter, but I loved writing it and how it came out I love.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.

How quick as this year gone aye. In November already. Now it's the count down to my favourite time of the year CHRISTMAS!!!

A few months have passed and it was the twins third birthday. Since Lucas missed the last two we decided to do a big party in the back garden. As their birthday is in the winter time we decided to ensure the outside had heating. I had heaters installed around the garden as we had a gazebo put up in case it rained. It was a open air gazebo as the twins loved the rain and they loved watching it as do Lucas and I.

I had the garden turned into a water theme ensuring half of it was the little mermaid for Wynter and the other half was nemo for Wyatt. The party planner I hired did an amazing job. She was so worth the money.

"Oh my god this looks amazing" Peyton says waddling through the back garden.

Everyone was coming through the back harden to give it more of that water themed party.

"Brooke you seriously hit it out of the park this year" Jake added

"She done amazing" Lucas agreed

"It wasn't really me. I mean I chose the themes and Hilda created this master piece" I reply

"I mean last year was good. The Shrek theme I thought was awesome, but this. Well this beats that"

"Thanks Sawyer" I hug her "how's pregnancy going?"

"Good" she nods "We find out the gender on Monday so I'm excited for that" she adds "not sure if we want to do the whole gender reveal thing or if we think it's out played"

"I think it's out played. Peyton is thinking on it" Jake laughs "I know I'll be ringing Luke and telling him anyway"

"Well then that is my answer, no party. Expect a phone call Davis"

"I'll ensure my phone is on and on loud"

"Where are the twins?"

"Upstairs with Lily" I tell them "We wanted everyone here so we could call them down and they can see their party"

After everyone was there and were all in the garden. I went up to their bedroom to get them. Lily ran down with everyone else.

I picked each of them up and carried them down the stairs then put them down and took each of their hands.

"Close your eyes very tight" I tell them

They giggle and did as I ask and I guide them over to the entrance of the garden. I stood them in front of me and slid the doors open.

"Okay you can open your eyes now" both twins opened their eyes at the same time and grasped.

"This for us?" Wyatt asked excited

"Really mama?" I nod and they grasp in sync again.

"Happy birthday!" everyone yelled and the twins clapped all excited.

"Can we go now mama?" Wynter asked. I could see utter excitement in their eyes as they looked around the garden at all the under water activities.

"Yeah" I reply and see them bolt out in the garden.

A couple months ago they were enrolled in a day care so they had some friends here too. I was just so happy that they were happy with everything. I stood a proud mama watching them enjoy themselves.

"You've done good pretty girl" Lucas says wrapping his arms around my waist from behind

"I'm just glad they liked it" a tear slowly slides down my face "and I'm just so glad you woke up and got to see the twins and their birthday"

"Me too" he kisses my cheek "and I'm not going anywhere again".

"Promise?" I turn to face him

He leans in and places a kiss to my lips "I promise"

"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Wynter and Wyatt, happy birthday to you" everyone sang as Lucas and I stood holding a half mermaid half nemo cake with three candles lit.

"Okay daddy is going to bring the cake to you and you blow out the candles okay" Lucas says and they both nod.

Lucas did just that as I held onto both of them as they blew out their candles and everyone cheered.

"No one leaves without cake" Lucas says and everyone laughs "there is a lot to go round"

"Brooke" I felt a hand on mine. I look down and see Lily "can I stay over tonight?"

"Of course you can Lil" I reply "you know you can stay here anytime. You have your own room now"

"Thank you" She runs off to tell Karen who smiled at me from across the room.

"So Lily is staying tonight" I tell Lucas "I was thinking maybe we can do a fort for them tonight in the living room"

"Do you think the twins will be okay down here alone with Lily?"

"Of course not, we would be staying down here too" I laugh "on the sofa"

"Okay then yeah that'll be cool"

"So we didn't know what to get the twins so we thought he'd just give you guys this" Nathan says handing me a check.

I looked down at it and my eyes went wide with shock "Oh no guys we can't take this" I insisted.

"Of course you can Brookie" Haley replies handing it back to me "$400 for Wynter and $400 for Wyatt. They already have everything. Put it into an account if you want, it's just for them two"

"Thank you" they wave it off.

"Sorry I haven't been around lately" Haley randomly says "just some family stuff going on"

"Are you okay?" she nods "you sure because we are always here for you Hales"

"I know and thank you for that" She replies giving me a hug.

"You too Nate, with anything"

"Thanks Brooke"

"So Peyton pregnant aye?" Haley says changing the subject "She called me the other day"

"Yeah crazy huh?" I reply "funny how life is turning out in a good way"

She nodded and I saw tears forming in her eyes and then a single tear fall down her cheek.

"Are you okay Hales?" she nodded "now your lying to me"

"Okay I'm not fine, but can we talk about it another time. It's the twins birthday and I don't want to ruin it or put a downer on it more than I ready have"

I began to get concerned about the thing that's bothering her, but I nod agreeing to leave it for another day.

"Now this theme was amazing" she wiped at her eyes and put a fake smile on.

"Yeah I just put their favourite thing together. Thank god it both had something to do with water"

"Yeah or it would have been harder" she laughed.

I nod agreeing with her. It would have been super hard other wise.

I stood in the corner of the gazebo and just watched as my two perfect children played with their friends a little longer before the party would end and their parents would come to pick them up. I would take this as a big success. The Twins seemed happy and if they are then so am I.

I glanced around the garden and saw Lucas talking with Jake and Nathan. He laughed at something Nathan said and my heart melted. Everything about him melted my heart. I loved him so much and I hate it's taken me so long to realise it, but grateful I was able to tell him before it was truly too late.

"You have a great daddy you know that" I placed a hand on my stomach "a daddy that will never break his promises and will ways be here for us. The best daddy in the world"

I haven't told Lucas yet as I found out last night. I haven't been feeling myself lately and my hormones have been all over the place so I thought I'd randomly take a test and there is read two thin pink lines. I was happy and excited and I'm excited to tell Lucas, but I didn't want to ruin the twins birthday so. I haven't told anyone. Tomorrow I want to tell Luke, but in those cute ways you see online. I'll go out in the morning and grab stuff to set everything up before he or the kids wake up. It'll be great.

The family of 4 because a family of 5.

"Hey sweetie" Karen says walking up beside me "such a great party. Thank you for inviting us"

"Of course Karen, you're family" I reply "Is it okay for lily to stay over tonight?"

She nodded "Yeah that's fine. Luke said he'll bring her back tomorrow night" I nod

"I think they've had a good time today" I say watching my babies laughing and playing

"Me too. I think everyone has" Karen agreed "I wanted to talk to you and Luke about something, but not here or today. Another time"

"Yeah okay sure" I say standing up straight off the wall and facing her "is everything okay?"

Karen nodded, but I could see in her eyes that it wasn't which scared me, but I didn't want to push it. Well talk about soon.

"I know that isn't the truth, but we'll wait and talk about it soon" I reply. She gives me a smile and kisses my cheek.

"You're such a good mom Brooke and Lucas is a good dad and I know you guys will kick ass as they grow up" she then kisses my cheek again and walks off.

I wasn't sure what that was about but I had a sudden worry wash over me like something bad was going to happen and that scared me a lot.

But I couldn't dwell on that not yet anyway. I just looked on at my two babies having a great time and I was so proud and blessed to have them and I wouldn't change anything for the world.
