Phantom Plasma Season 01 Episode 02
We see that Danny and Vlad were training together in a separate part of the castle that couldn't be accessed by humans without construction equipment. They'd started with the transformation from human to ghost and Vlad then began testing what abilities that Danny had currently before he then showed off a few tricks of his own.
"You see Daniel I've had these powers for over twenty years." He'd stated to the younger half ghost. "Now let's start with uinform. What is this some sort of superhero logo?" The elder half ghost questioned gesturing to the D shaped logo with the small P inside of it on Danny's suit.
"I dunno it just sort of appeared on it's own." Danny then admitted having no idea where it had come from exactly.
"Hmm, I see. Probably a subconscious thing." Vlad stated casually about the logo having appeared on Danny's outfit. "Ghosts can alter their appearances without actually needing to go out and buy new clothing, that's why I'm not running around in jeans and a t-shirt."
Danny's Ghost sense went off as a Green man in a robe appeared poking their head through the wall stating "Well hey there, breakfast is ready."
"Ghost!" Danny called and tried to blas them but Vlad had thrown up a shield stopping him from being able to do so.
"Daniel, not all ghosts are evil. You need to learn the difference some can be allies in our fight against Walker when we try to take down his prison." Vlad then explained trying to calm Danny down, which did seem to work. "This is uncle Monty, he's the man I inherited the castle from, sometimes humans can become ghosts instead of passing on to the afterlife." He'd then introduced to them.
"Well hey there kiddo, you're the Fenton boyo right?" The ghost of Vlad's uncle questioned about Danny being Fenton and Phantom.
"Uh.. ya." Danny answered back awkwardly to the ghost not sure how to take in this information. "S-sorry about attacking you. I'm just on edge after what happened to my dad." He'd apologized to the ghost of Vlad's uncle.
"S'alright. I understand, Vlad told me about why you guys were coming to stay here. Dairy King Monterey Jack it's nice to meet'cha. You can just call me Uncle Monty." The Dairy King ghost introduced himself to them. "Anyway you might wanna hurry up and go get breakfast, don't wanna be late for your first day of school don't ya know."
"Quite right, we'll pick this up after you've finished your school work for the day." Vlad spoke agreeing about calling it quits early so they could go and get ready so that Danny wouldn't be late.
The two phased through the wall alongside Uncle Monty and ended up back in Vlad's study where they'd changed back into their human forms and went on to go have breakfast alongside Jazz and Maddie, the latter of whom questioned "Where were you this early?"
"Oh I was just testing Danny, he seems like the perfect candidate for an apprentice." Vlad stated truthfully without actually giving anything away.
"So breakfast, I'm starving." Danny spoke quickly changing the subject and began to enjoy the meal that was cooked finding it rather delicious. "This is really good."
"Ya, wish I knew who cooked it." Maddie stated saying that she had no idea who'd actually made the meal.
"Oh the chef is shy so they like to keep the kitchen door locked until after it's complete then sneak out before anyone can see them." Vlad told them about the chef who was cooking.
Danny gave a suspicious look over to where Uncle Monty was just barely peeking thorugh the wall and the ghost of the elder man waved back before disappearing so that he wouldn't be caught by Danny's family. Vlad had also taken notice and secretly waved back while Madide and Jazz were distracted by breakfast.
Well after breakfast Danny and Jazz had found their way to the school thanks to Vlad having a GPS in the car that he let Jazz drive the two of them to school in and Danny reads the sign for the scool stating "The Isaic Schoolf ro the Pennywise, Home of the Malachai Creepers."
"Rich people and their wird school names." Jazz sighed finding the parking space Vlad had reserved for them and pulled in parking the car before getting out and the two went to the office to get their schedules.
After Danny got his schedule he'd gone to find the classroom he was supposed to be in and found it without much trouble knocking on the door and opened it finding that he had a teacher with tan skin and red hear along with being in a long pink dress. "Uh.. Miss Wendy?" He'd questioned them.
"Yes. You must be Danny Fenton." The teacher spoke in response saying that's who she was. "How about you go and sit by Damion." though he didn't know who was that.
"Yo." Presumably Damion spoke up and gestured to the empty seat next to them, the guy had blue eyes and long black hair that was in a braid that dangled down thrown over one of his shoulders so that it was resting on his chest.
Danny had gone to sit next to them in the empty chair and the two had introduced themselves to one another, ya that was Damion. He'd had his morning classes with Danny and so offered to show him around, something Danny was thankful for and agreed to. They'd gone to the different classes and Damion showed him where the Library was, the building having S. King Library written on it, and then eventually lunch time.
Eventually it was lunch time however the school lunch was rather expensive, something Danny and Jazz found annoying with Damion calling "Yo, Fenton, rooftop let's go." and began to walk off with Danny and Jazz following though confused.
They two followed him up to the roof where there was a girl sitting on the rooftop who had purple hair with a black dress on that had multicolored shapes decorating it at a random pattern. The Girl however waved to greet them as if it was no big deal that Damion had brough a couple of others with him.
"Just in time to hit before the rush." The girl stated to them setting up a table and pulling out a very large oven that had been reheating things still wrapped in thier packages. "I'm Evia, nice to meet you."
"Evia this is Danny, and.. I don't know this one actually." Damoin stated to them having not met Jazz yet.
"Oh this is my sister Jazz." Danny then introduced to them. "What exactly are you doing up here anyway?"
"It's the one part of the school that isn't monitored. I've got my own station up here." Evia explained to them about what she's doing.
"So what's on today's menu?" Damion then questioned Evia about what she'd had waiting today.
"Bueno Nacho." Evia answered back. "You two hungry? First one's on the house." She'd then questioned Danny and Jazz.
"That'd be great thanks." Danny spoke thanking her and she'd given them each something to eat so that they wouldn't go hungry.
"Y'know I've never had Bueno Nacho before." Jazz spoke about having not ever tried this particular place's food before. "I've heard of it though."
"Oh you gotta try the Naco Grande at some point." Evia stated to them showing them what it was which actually looked delicious to Danny.
"You said first one's on the house right, that mean you charge for them?" Danny then questioned about lunch.
"Yep. I round eveything up to the nearest dolar becuase I don't like dealing with loose change." Evia answered back about how she's got things set up.
"Is this legal?" Jazz questioned about reselling food and stuff on the school grounds not sure if that was actually allowed or not.
"So long as I give the school Ten Percet Headmaster Eliot told me he would allow it, and it helps students on the lower end so why not?" She answered back about this setup she's got going.
"Can it get one of those Naco Grandes please?" Danny questioned about the thing that they'd shown him.
"Ya, for six dollars." Evia answered back and Danny handed it over getting the Naco and trying it out finding that it actually tasted pretty good actually.
"So what's this rush thing?" Jazz asked about what they were after reaching into a freezer that was stocked with drinks that had prices stuck to the shelves and paying for it.
"Kids on the lower end of the financial spectrum, and ... other." Evia answered back simply though that made Jazz raise an eyebrow in response.
"Other?" Danny questioned also getting himself a drink and putting the cash on the table curious about just what that might be exactly.
"People who end up with the munchies. Those guys always clean things out so it's better to get here sooner rather than later." Damion answered back with a shrug. "Hey Evia, Danny's got the rest of his classes with you, would you mind showing him around?"
"Nope but he'll have to wait for me to get everything put away after the lunch rush is over." She'd answered back with a shrug.
Well, the rest of the school day was rather uneventful. Though the P.E. teacher called Coach Prescott was kind of a pain to deal with, kinda like Ms. Tetslaff from back home. However they did manage to finish out the rest of the day before heading back to the house. Damn school really was a pain regardless of wherever they went.
