Phantom Plasma Season 01 Episode 03
Danny had been going to school when something set off his ghost sense as he was walking down the hall by himself and he'd noticed a ghost inside one of the offices. Looking around to make sure no one was there he'd then gone in to confront them. "Hey, what are you doing here spook?" He'd questioned them.
The Ghost however said nothing and immediately tried to attack him but thanks to working with Vlad he'd been able phase through their attack before blasting them with a ghost ray from his finger knocking them back into an empty wall forcing them to retreat. They'd then noticed someone coming in before he could leave.
"Well what do we have here?" The woman questioned him about why exactly he was in her office at the moment.
"Oh, uh.. new. I haven't quite gotten the layout of the school." Danny stated and quickly tried to leave but she'd stopped him from doing so.
"Y'know I'm new here too. Say you're the boy who's dad recently"He's not dead!"" She'd began to say but was cut off by Danny who was angry that she was emplying that his dad was gone.
"There was just a lab accident and we haven't found him yet." Danny then quickly stated about the situation and began trying to leave the office having better things to do.
"What's the hurry stay and chat. I'm Penelope Spectra." The woman then introduced while the two could actually see their breath.
"Why is it so cold in here?" He'd then questioned about just why it was so cold in that room in particular.
"I find that the cold air help keeps the mind icy sharp." She'd stated cranking the thermostat to even colder than it already was.
"That or it'll give you frostbite." He'd then retorted about having it so cold in there while seeing his breath as he'd spoken. "Can I go now. I don't want to be here talking to you."
"Go ahead." Spectra spoke saying that they can leave if he wanted and so he'd left the room going to get to class annoyed by that encounter.
Danny had gone to finish out the day at school and was preparing to leave when Spectra had stopped him asking "Oh Danny would you please come over to my office for a bit?"
Danny stopped to look at her for a moment before then stating "No." and then continued to leave wanting to get out of there already.
"Danny you don't have to be rude." Jazz spoke to her little brother about him just telling the councilor no like that.
"Jazz, I have better things to do than talk to some quack. Besides Uncle Vlad would be upset if I'm late." He'd then answered back and continued leaving.
"I'm sure he'll understand I'm not driving you home until you see what she wants." Jazz then stated to them.
Danny however just sarcastically stating "Oh gee, I guess I gotta find another way back then don't I?" before leaving the building. He'd then phased into the ground before anoyne could notice him and called "I'm going Ghost." before changing into his ghost form and flying off.
Danny had flown back to the castle and dove into some bushes before changing back and going inside. Since he didn't have any school work he'd gone straight over to pick up training with Uncle Vlad who yes was teaching him business but was also teaching him ghost abilities at the same time.
"So you just left them there?" Vlad questioned blasting a ghost ray at Danny to test the ghost shield he was trying to manifest and it had cracked it. "Gotta focus more on the shield Daniel."
"Sorry Uncle Vlad." Danny apologized and the cracks in the shield had sealed up as if it hadn't been cracked at all. "And ya, I did. I have more important things to do than to talk to some shrink who thinks they know my situation better than I do."
Vlad blasted another attack at Danny's shield and this time it managed to hold off the attack. "Good, you've managed to stabilize it. But the hard part is using it to bounce attacks back at your opponent. As for the Shrink do they have a name exactly?"
"Penelope Spectra." He'd answered back while blocking another attack though Vlad hadn't heard of them before, nor had Uncle Monty.
"Hm.. I'll have to look into that one, the name sounds familiar." Vlad stated that he'd try to dig anything up for that. "Now let's test your own Ghost ray against my shield shall we?"
"Well you asked for it." He spoke blasting at the shield though his attack didn't do anything to it at all which was frustrating, but then Vlad did have 20 years on him.
"You're improving quickly but it's not quite as powerful as it can be." The old half ghost mentor then stated to him.
"I think that's enough for today, why don't you work on teaching the boy business orthwise the other two might start to get suspicious there ya?" The Ghost of Montery Jack stated about changing activities.
"I think you're right, let's go." Vlad spoke and they'd phased off back into his office and he'd started to teach Danny some of the ins and outs of business.
They'd been interrupted when Jazz had come in looking for Danny angry about how he'd just disappeared on her like that and how he was rude to the school concilor. However Danny looked like he actually was studdying to become a businessman under Vlad and she did calm at least a little bit, but was still angry.
"We'll pick this up later. Remember I've got a meeting with the board tomorrow so why don't you go out and try to spend some time with others your own age." Vlad stated to Danny letting him get up and leave.
"I told you already Jazz, I'm not going to talk to her." Danny stated bluntly as he'd left the room passing by his sister as he'd been moving to go on up to his room.
The next day after school Danny had actually gone to hang out with Damion and Evia since he didn't really know anyone else to hang out with and they'd gone to the mall, mostly doing window shopping. They'd actually taken a break from wandering the mall and hit up a food court where Jazz had actually met up with them.
"Well?" His older sister questioned showing off some things that she'd changed while there. "What do you think about my new look?"
"I think mom's gonna be mad when she finds out you cut your hair and got piercings." Danny answered back in response.
Jazz however had tapped onto one of the earings she was wearing and responds "They're fake, and I called mom before cutting my hair." She'd explained about the new part of her look.
Danny had seen his breath and gets up stating "I.. just realized I forgot to pick something up, be right back." before then running off confusing them however Jazz did still try to follow. "Great, now she's following me." He'd then sighed.
Danny had run into an arcade and down a row of machines that didn't have cameras on them and when Jazz had followed he'd been completely gone. "I could have sworn he.." She'd began to think but Danny phased down into the area below finding that he'd been in one of the parts of the mall that had been closed down and wasn't rented out yet.
"Ya, that'll work." Danny spoke landing onto the ground before calling out "I'm going Ghost." and changed into his ghost form and flying out of the abandoned store going to find the ghost that was attacking.
It was that same stupid blob that attacked earlier and they tried to blast at him and he'd created a shield blocking the attack. They then shifted into a large cat and attacked pinning Danny down, however thanks to Vlad's training he's more able to think like a ghost and just phased through the ground making them look down confused before being grabbed by the tail and swung around by Danny and thrown into a wall where he'd blasted them.
"Alright Creep I've had enough of you!" He'd called pulling a cylindrical device and used it to forcibly pull the ghost inside of it before capping it off. "And that, as they say, is that." He'd stated satisfied.
Danny had then quickly flown off back to the abandoned part and changed back before going invisible and phasing through the door going to find a place to come out of hiding from where he wouldn't be seen. Just to make sure that no one would suspect something he'd gotten something that Vlad had said was cheap but good for learning business and began to head off to see if Jazz and his new friends Damion and Evia were there too, discovering they were but Jazz was ready to get out of there and he'd decided to go too.
When they'd gotten back Vlad hadn't been there yet because the meeting was running long and Danny had gone up to his room. "Hey Uncle Monty, did Vlad ever find out anything about Spectra?" He'd spoken looking outside his window where his mom was trying to show Jazz a device that they were working on.
"Oh ya, real nasty piece of work there that Spectra. Apparently she's a ghost that feeds on people emotions to keep herself young don't ya know." The Ghost of the Dairy King stated to them about what they'd discovered.
"Thought so, it was too weird how that ghost blob showed up in her office first and how Vlad seemed to recognize it." He'd stated to them about the woman in question. "Wanna help me take them out?"
"I'm the Dairy King kiddo, king's don't fight. They send other people to do the fighting for them." Uncle Monty stated saying that he wasn't really one for actually dealing with conflict.
"Well, maybe I can catch them still at school right now, I hear some teacher stay late." He'd spoken changing into his ghost form. "Wish me luck."
With that he'd started to fly off going intangible as he was leaving so he wouldn't smack into the wall with Uncle Monty stating "Break a leg out there kiddo."
Danny had flown off and sure enough Spectra was still there though she was about to leave being the last person out and he'd cleared her throat to get here attention. When she turned around he'd blasted her with the Thermos and captured her alongside that other ghost that had been attacking too before then flying off to go back to his room. He'd give the Thermos to Vlad so that he could dispose of the ghosts later and went back to his room laying on his bed as Uncle Monty was on a portable gaming device that Vlad had bought just to keep him out of his hair for awhile.
