Phantom Plasma Season 01 Episode 05
We see that Jack, Monty, and Jazz, were working on some sort of suit design that Jack had come up with while he was imprisoned while Maddie, and Vlad, were working on another that had been identical to it. With Vlad's money and resources this joint project was coming along nicely, and they should be able to have the project completed soon.
"Soon the Ecto-Skeleton will be complete and we'll be able to use them to beat back any ghosts that may come our way." Jack stated about what they were building.
"Ya, but the interface is still glitchy and dangerous Jack. We need to work the bugs out before" Maddie began to respond but a Ghost had appeared out of the portal setting off Danny's Ghost sense, though oddly Vlad didn't seem to have one.
"Hey I know you, you're that ghost that helped me find my dad." Danny spoke seeing the techno based ghost.
"I told you there was a way out through here, go go go!" The ghost spoke as a ton of ghosts had shot out to escape the Ghost zone, why they were all going they weren't certain though.
"What are you guys all running from?" Jazz questioned why all the ghosts were trying to escape so quickly.
"His name is Pariah Dark." The techno ghost stated to them all about just why they were trying to escape.
"Pariah Dark, here, Now?" Vlad questioned looking surprised and worried to have heard just what was happing.
"Ya, and I suggest you all find a safe place too." They'd responded before flying off joining the other ghosts as well.
A Ghostly Knight in black armor had come through the portal riding on a winged black alucorn and called "Go and find the King's Ring!" as skeletal ghosts charged through and began to phase around escaping the lab.
""Beat it Fright Knight!"" Vlad and Danny called at the same time, seems that Danny had been keeping up with his studies of the different Ghosts that Vlad had known about.
"I'm going Ghost!" Danny then called as he formed white rings and Vlad formed black rings that split and moved up and down their body changing them into their ghost forms.
"You think you can stop me, funny." The Fright Knight told them however Danny and Vlad had split into four and blasted at him all at once causing him to be launched out of the castle phasing so they didn't slam into the ceiling or anything.
"Now what about this ring he's after?" Danny and his duplicates questioned all at once as he was fusing back together into one being again and he'd changed back to human.
"Pariah Dark was the king of the ghost zone." Vlad spoke changing back to human as well and had taken something out showing them that he actually had the ring. "He was able to harness the power of both the crown of fire and the ring of rage. After discovering this I had sought out the ring and take it as far away from Pariah's keep as possible."
"Why would he wait until now to attack though?" Jazz questioned confused as to why exactly he hadn't tried to reclaim it sooner.
"He was sealed away by powerful ancient ghosts led by Clockwork the ghost master of time there." Uncle Monty's ghost stated as to why it happened. "Put him in the coffin of forever sleep, but someone must have found the key and opened it."
"Thousand dollars says it's Walker who did it, guy is obsessed with order and probably wanted revenge too." Danny stated to them about just who might have freed them.
"He is the most likely candidate." Vlad then agreed with him about why they might have freed Pariah Dark. "I keep the ring in a safe that has a protective shielding so that ghosts cannot get into it."
"Well with Pariahs goons out there I think we should test out that new ghost shield." Danny suggested about what would be best to do.
"I'll start on that immediately." Maddie spoke going to activate the ghost shield and green see through energy surrounded the castle.
"You guys finish the Ecto-Suits, Danny and I will handle getting people to safety." Vlad spoke saying that the two of them would handle helping the town.
"You can't jus"Hey, believe it or not those two are the strongest ghosts I've ever met."" Maddie began to object but Uncle Monty's ghost interrupted them saying to just let them go.
"Hey they were able to take down Walker and free me from that prison, but be safe, both of you." Jack told them letting the two go and they'd headed off together.
Going over to the ghost shield both Danny and Vlad had actually managed simply walking through it in their human forms before then changing into their ghost forms again and began to fly off. They'd started blasting any ghosts that had gotten near the humans and told them to rush under the green energy shield because they would be safe there.
"Y'know it's a good thing your castle is the biggest building in town." Danny stated as they'd landed a the school football field.
The Fright Knight had grabbed Vlad by his shirt angerly stating "Return the master's Ring." to him holding his sword at their throat.
"I don't have it!" He'd stated in response as Danny blasted the Fright Knight in the back with a ghost ray making him let go of Vlad.
"Enough, I just wanted the ring. But now you give me no choice!" The Fright Knight called out angry and aimed his sword at the ground stating "By the power vested in me by my lord and liege I now and forever claim this town under the rule of King Periah." before stabbing it into the ground creating a barrier around the whole town.
"He can't do that! Can he?" Danny called out questioning if that was even something that they could do.
"He's the general of the Ghost King of course he can, the problem now is how to free everyone from their rule." Vlad answered back.
"The Sword is sunk your Die now cast, the Sword removed shall signal fast. Make Reappear the Ring thou hast, or your next day shall be your last." The Fight Knight spoke before splitting apart into a stream of bats and scattering away.
The two had gone back to the Castle and changed into their human forms going in to get back to the Lab to see just how everything had been being handled and found that the Ecto-Suits had finally been completed thanks to some extra help from Damion and Evia and some others. Maddie had been explaining about how it works to those that were down there but explained that it also could be dangerous.
"That's what Uncle Vlad and I will be the ones taking them. We have the best chance out of everyone here to survive." Danny stated walking in alongside Vlad.
"No way, the suits are dangerous!" Maddie stated saying that they weren't going to let them do that, however they didn't really have a choice.
Danny's eyes flashed green and Vlad's flashed red as if they were daring them to try to stop them with Jack sighing and putting his hands on their shoulders. "Come back safe, both of you." He'd told them in response.
"Why do those two have the best chance at this?" Evia questioned just why exactly it had to be those two specifically.
"Well they're both ghost and human don't ya know." The ghost of Uncle Monty explained to them about why.
"I see that makes sense and GAH!" Damion spoke but jumped back seeing the ghost that was now next to them.
"Easy the Damion, Uncle Monty isn't a threat. Well, unless you're alergic to dairy maybe." Jazz stated telling him to calm down.
"Did.. Did they just say that Vlad and Danny were ghosts?" Evia questioned surprised to hear what they'd said and wanted to make sure that they heard them right.
"Ya, and we're taking the Ecto Suits to battle Periah." Danny then stated opening up one of the suits and climbing inside.
"We'll use our ghost forms after we leave the sheld." Vlad spoke getting into the other and the two then activated the suits and began to leave out through a ramp area that led straight to outside.
They'd left through the Ghost Shield and went over to the sword where Danny questions "So you ready to do this?"
"Oh what the hell, I'll try it your way. But just this once." Vlad then responded about being ready to take them down.
Danny smirked hearing that and the two called out ""We're Going Ghost!"" together and changed into their ghost forms while inside the Ecto-Suits channeling their powers into them and making the shells change to be more like their own ghost forms as well.
Once they were done the two pulled the sword out of the ground and when the Fright Knight appeared Danny and Vlad blasted him and Periah out of the way flying off leading them back to the ghost king's keep seeing a massive army.
"Okay, that could be a problem." Danny spoke and the two blasted wiping out two thirds of the army at once but started to drain. "What, gotta be careful about how much power is used."
The two had flown off into the thing with Vlad calling "Danny I'll hold them off you go look for Periah's Sarcophogas."
"Sorry Uncle Vlad but that's gonna have to be your job I don't know what it looks like. Leave the Ghost King to me." Danny then responded shoving him to make him go.
"Be careful." He answered back preparing to go while Danny had discovered Walker encased in crystal unable to more locked in a horrified expression.
"Whoa, looks like you got what was coming to you." Danny stated to Walker who couldn't respond being stuck like that.
"As will you child." Pariah spoke as the Fright Knight had gone off to try to find Vlad and stop him from whatever he was doing.
"Wanna bet?" Danny questioned ready to fight Pariah who'd swung a mace at him but Danny threw up a ghost shield and the mace bounced off of him before blasting Pariah in the gut sending him crashing into another room but was starting to feel drained.
"Having that much power is a burden isn't it child?" Pariah questioned smugly seeing that Danny was starting to tire out.
"It's not the power that's the problem, it's how I'm using it." Danny responds and created duplicates of himself and they began to gang up on Pariah.
"You cannot win child." Pariah told him and began to bash the copies making them disappear but not before they'd managed to get some damage of their own in as well.
"I don't have to win, I just gotta make sure that you lose." He'd stated back to the Ghost King blasting at them but was getting to be more and more drained.
"I'd like to see you try it!" The Ghost King then demanded swinging his mace and knocking back Danny into a wall.
The readings on Danny's Ecto-Suit had gone down to only 10% leaving him feeling weaker than he'd ever been before. "Alright Fenton you've got ten percent power left now would be a damn good time to dig down and come up with something." But Pariah had struck him again making the energy drop to 9%.
"Well Child, it's been fun but it's time I finish this. And once I'm done, I'll go to that town and find my ring and cut down anyone and everyone who dares to get in my way." Pariah then told him stepping on the chest of Danny's Ecto-Suit.
Danny started thinking about what was going to happen to his family, his mom and dad, his sister, his weird sorta ghost uncle, his half ghost godfather, his new friends, everyone, just imagining Pariah cutting them down and something in him snapped as his eyes flashed from green to that of an icy blue in color as he'd struggled to get up. "No. You. WOOOOONT!"
When Danny had called out that last part it had created an echo along with a strange wailing sound and shockwaves of strange energy that knocked back Pariah sending him crashing through the roof of the castle as the waves had frozen them along with everything around Danny at the same time and he'd dropped down to his hands and knees as the Ecto-Suit showed a staggeringly low 1%.
Vlad had flown out with the Sarcophagas of Forever Sleep opening it up and slamming it shut with the Fright Knight using the key to lock the thing making it activate and force Pariah to return to slumber once more. The two had gone down to Danny and Vlad then helped him up as Danny had been fading in and out of consciousness.
The two then made their way back through Vlad's portal as the town was no longer in the ghost zone with The Ghost King's defeat and they'd managed to make it back before reverting to human forms again with the two needing a long rest. Eventually Danny and Vlad did recover and the town had basically hailed them as heroes from that day forth. Even Uncle Monty had been more accepted by the town along with other ghosts so long as they weren't causing trouble. Some Plumbers did come to suggest joining the Plumbers but they had been refused however some normal ghosts had been recruited and left alongside them.
Well, Danny's family never did move back to Amity Park. After everything had finally cleared and they were able to rebuild they just had what was left of the place demolished and taken away selling the place to a developer. They'd actually continued to live with Vlad as Danny had been able to continue his apprenticeship with Vlad learning more about how to be a buisnessman, and had been working on that new power eventually learning to use the wailing power without the ice and using the ice without the wailing power becoming a protector of his new home.
