When I walk into the class the next morning, everyone is whispering in their seats, and there's a plastic pumpkin bucket on our teachers desk. I slide into my seat, and Adrien says good morning. "What do you think is in the bucket?" I ask. "Maybe treats?" he says hopefully. I laugh. "Look out, Agreste, maybe its a trick!"

Thankfully, we don't have to wait long to find out. "In this bowl is different assignments that you will be paired with a partner. But isn't the usual. There are slips for volunteering at the soup kitchen, taking someone from the orphanage trick-or-treating, and so on. Max, could pass around the bowl?"

Oh, I want to work with Adrien so bad! It would be great to spend more time together, and Adrien is good with kids. I hold my breath as I dig my fingers into the paper, stirring the papers around. Marinette and Adrien: Trick-Or-Treating at Miss Hattie's School For Girls.

Once the bowl is back with our teacher, she says, "We'll meet back here at three clock. Have fun everyone!"

"Hey, looks like you and I are partners, Marinette!" Adrien stands, and smiles at me. "I was hoping to work together." The bus drops us off at our location, a big brick building. Adrien gulps as he stares up at the sign. "Marinette, wasn't that school in Annie called Miss Hattie's?" "Miss Hannigan, and you'll be fine. Come on." Adrien holds my hand as we sign in at the front desk. "Looks like you'll be taking Autumn trick-or-treating. If you go to this street here, they already know your coming."

Autumn is a small shy girl with beautiful green eyes and long hazel colored hair. She holds one her helpers hands, and Adrien kneels down by her. "You must be Autumn. Ready for a fun time?" "I'm ready to have fun, but I'm a little shy." Adrien's smile is gentle as he holds his hand out. "That's okay. Marinette and I will make sure you have a fun time."

Autumn opens up about her life as we leave the school. "So, what do you want to do in life, Autumn?" "Paint pretty pictures. Paris is so beautiful and its always changing." "I do a bit of painting myself," I tell her. "Expect I paint dresses and outfits. I want to be a fashion designer."

We slowly make our way down the street, chatting, and by the time we get back, Autumn is all smiles. "Well, that's a happy face!" A lady meets us at the entrance. "Oh, it was, Miss Hattie! But I think I enjoyed spending time with Marinette and Adrien even more then treats!" Adrien and I blush. "Autumn, I want to tell you something before you go," Adrien kneels down. "Never stop painting, or let anyone tell you that you can't do it. Believe in yourself." "Thanks, Adrien. If you could stay for lunch, I could show you some of my artwork." "We do need someone to help with serving the soup and help with coloring." I glance at my watch. "We've got plenty of time, Adrien."

Adrien decides to ladle soup up for the girls, while I sit with a group and color with them. The girls are so sweet, and it makes me long for a daughter of my own someday.

"Marinette?" I look up from coloring some leaves with a five year old, and find Adrien standing there. "I accidentally splashed soup on my sweatshirt. Do you think we could get going?" "Its time for us to go anyway. You want to wash it at my house?" "that would great."

Its hard saying goodbye, but we're left with a warm feeling. "Do you want kids some day, Marinette?" I nod. "At least two or three. How about you?" "I don't know a lot about them, but I would kids too." "But you were so good with Autumn!" "My mother was my hero when I was younger. Father was already running his fashion company by the time I was born, so Mother hung out with me a lot. Maybe I get my gentle nature from her." "Do you miss her?" Adrien nods.

I'm glad we can leave soon after we get back, and head upstairs. "You want a snack? I'm sure I can make us something." "A snack would be great."

Once we're inside, I turn to Adrien. "I'll get you a sweatshirt to wear. I'll be right back." "Oh, don't make an extra trip to the laundry room. I can give it to you right now." Before I can say anything, Adrien takes off his sweatshirt and hands it over.

Oh, my. Adrien. Shirtless. Need to breathe. "Marinette?" Adrien's voice sounds close. "You okay? Your face is a bright red color." "Back in a minute!" I chirp, running upstairs.

Throwing the shirt in the wash, I cool my face with water from the sink. "And you think your fur ball is cute," Tikki giggles. I glare at her, then grin myself. Getting a sweatshirt from my drawer, I trot back downstairs. "Here you go," I tell Adrien, trying not to stare. "Wait, you have a towel?" "Yeah, hanging from the fridge. Why?" Adrien grins. "Cause it will let me do this!"

Adrien secures the towel to one of his belt loops and the rest hangs over his right shoulder. "Is that a toga?" "Yeah! Just give me some grapes and I'll strike a pose!" I laugh hard, and dash back over to the fridge, rummaging around. "Here. Now pose."

Adrien does, and I take picture after picture as Adrien and I crack up as he makes up the most ridiculous poses. Soon, tears are running down our cheeks. "I need to sit down. My stomach hurts."

Finally, Adrien slips the sweatshirt over his head. I smack my forehead as he does so. "Your snack! I forgot!" "No worries, I have a snack right here!"

Adrien and I play Mega Strike while his shirt dries, and I cream him. "Man, I'm so rusty. I'll have to practice more often."

Adrien hugs me when he leaves, now wearing his clean dry sweatshirt. "I had such a wonderful time hanging out with you," he kisses the back my knuckles. "I'll see you soon."

The brush of Adrien's lips makes me dizzy. "yeah, see ya."

Adrien sighed happily as he walked to the alleyway. It had been quite awhile since he had laughed like that without his mask. He wished it could be like this all the time, but now was time to don his mask.

Cat rounded the corner, where the bakery tables and chairs were set up and froze. For there on one of tables was a bowl of candy and a sign that said, "Take One." Cat's tail swished. Was that take one, like one piece? Or take the whole bowl. Cat opted for the latter, after all he was very hungry. Unfourantley he failed to see his Princess glaring at him from through the window and she dashed away to transform.

"That fur ball! Tikki, Spots On!" I dash out the door, quick enough to see the naughty tail walk around the corner. "Cat Noir, you come back here!" I yell as I run after him. Cat freezes, and slowly turns to face me. "H-Hi, Bugaboo." he walks over to me, still holding his precious bowl. "Would you like a treat?" "Cat, your only supposed to take one, not the whole bowl!" "But I'm hungry!" Oh, this boy. "Bowl, please." Cat meows. "Don't make me put a tracker in your bell." "You wouldn't dare!" "Give me the bowl, love." Cat pouts. "Thank you. Now, how about you go say sorry to the nice lady at the bakery." Cat's face lights up. "You mean Mama Cheng? Maybe she'll let me stay for dinner!" Cat grabs the bowl back. "I'll make sure she gets it." I grin. "With or without the candy?"

Cat does stay for dinner, and offers to help with the dishes. "Just have fun with Marinette," Mama soothes him. "Okay."

I take his hand, leading him upstairs. He may be naughty, but he's the sweetest cat I know.
