Stretching her legs and arms, Leah rubbed her eyes as she slowly opened them… and she rested her head on Connor's right shoulder as memories of last night's nightmares were still there.
Connor slowly opened his eyes before they kissed, neither of them able to move too much because of Sumo sleeping on their legs.
"You have treats hidden anywhere in our room?" Connor asked.
"That would require getting up… and I don't want to just yet." Leah responded before they kissed.
Sumo heard the front door open and his eyes opened before he jumped off of the bed and ran into the living room… and Hank crouched down and petted him.
"Hey, Sumo. You behaved yourself yesterday?" Hank replied.
Sumo sat down and let out a soft bark, Hank standing up as he saw Leah and Connor walk into the living room… and Hank saw Leah glance at the photo of Elena and Valerie.
Hank walked to Leah as Connor walked to Sumo, Hank pulling Leah into his arms and the two hugging.
"I know you don't really remember Elena but she loved you, kiddo." Hank responded before they let go.
'She did but Valerie didn't want anything to do with her or me. How could a mother do that to their own child and grandchild?' Leah thought.
Leah crouched down and petted Sumo, only for him to playfully knock her down and lick her as Leah laughed.
"Okay, Sumo, okay. I'm not sad anymore, big guy." Leah replied between laughs, Sumo letting out a cheerful bark and sitting down as Leah sat up.
"I'll go get dressed and take him for a walk." Connor responded as he helped Leah up.
"Good idea. I'll go shower off, don't let him chase the squirrels." Leah replied.
Once Leah had shaved and got into the shower, she closed the sliding door and let the steam surround her as the warm water soaked her hair and skin.
Leah closed her eyes as she put some of her Joico Color Infuse Red shampoo on her hair and ran it through the long slightly tangled curls.
She quickly turned the water to cold and rinsed the shampoo out before turning the water back to warm and stepping away from it after pulling the detachable shower head down and setting it on the floor.
Running the conditioner through her hair, Leah grabbed her brush and brushed her hair before she put it back in the shower rack and used a claw clip to clip her hair up before she grabbed her scrubby with the long handle and the My Beauty Spot charcoal and tea tree extract body scrub and opened the jar.
Once Leah had a good amount on the scrubby, she closed the jar and set it on the shower rack before she carefully scrubbed her skin and waited a bit before rinsing it off with the warm water and rinsing the scrubby off before she set it aside too and set the detachable shower head back on the hook.
Letting her hair down after turning the water to cool, Leah closed her eyes and let the water rinse the conditioner out of her hair.
After getting out of the shower and wrapping her hair into a microfiber towel and tying it closed, Leah dried off and wrapped the oversized towel around herself before she used a small amount of ELF Holy Hydration cleanser on her face.
She closed the cleanser bottle and washed it off before she dried her face with a small towel before using a small amount of the ELF Holy Hydration Keep Your Balance toner on her face, forehead and neck.
Leah threw the cotton round away and closed the toner bottle as she heard the bedroom door open and she opened the restroom door before she and Connor kissed.
"Sumo behaved?" Leah asked.
"Yes he did because I promised him treats before we got back." Connor responded.
After Leah used the ELF Holy Hydration Face Cream and ELF Holy Hydration Eye cream, Leah applied some of her Smidcht's charcoal deodorant to her underarms and capped it before she applied her Megababe Thigh Rescue to her thighs and chest area before pulling on a pair of navy hipster panties and a navy push up bra.
Getting dressed into a pair of black pants and a short sleeved white blouse, Leah let her hair out of the microfiber towel and sprayed some SGX NYC Blaze heat protectant onto it and applying some SGX NYC Curl Power curl cream onto her hands before she scrunched it into her hair with the towel.
After she finished styling her hair with the Shark Beauty dryer and diffuser, Leah shut it off and pulled her bangs back before she applied the ELF Power Grip primer to her face and let it set before she applied the Revolution Beauty IRL Filter concealer to her under eyes and blended it in with a damp beauty blender to hide the redness and dark circles and used a small amount of the Revolution Beauty IRL Filter foundation on her face and forehead and blended it in with both the concealer and foundation being the lightest shades possible as her skin was pale in the colder months.
After finishing the majority of her makeup routine and using setting spray to set it, Leah put everything away and walked into the bedroom before she sat down and pulled a pair of black ballet flats on before she grabbed her newly bought pack of Be Calm patches and opened them.
She stuck one on the back of her right wrist and put the rest in the packet before she closed it… and felt her phone vibrate before she grabbed it, seeing a text.
'Are you feeling okay, Officer Anderson?'
'Sixty?! How the fuck did you get my number?!' Leah responded.
She still couldn't believe that someone had reset her boyfriend's twin and sent him to the DPD just after the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve… and Leah was sure that someone at CyberLife had something evil in mind.
'From Detective Reed's phone when he wasn't looking.'
'Of course. And I'm not really okay but I will be.' Leah replied. "Cheeky bastard!" She muttered as Connor walked back into the room.
"Sixty found your number?" Connor asked, Leah nodding.
"Stole my number from Gavin's phone. I'm gonna let Gavin teach your twin a thing or two about boundaries the next time Sixty pisses him off." Leah explained before they kissed and walked into the living room as Hank walked back into the house with coffee and breakfast from Starbucks.
At the precinct after a while, Sixty looked away from his desk to Gavin's chair.
Gavin and Nines weren't here yet and Leah, Connor and Hank had just walked into the precinct a few minutes ago… and Sixty smirked as an idea crossed his mind before he opened one of his desk drawers and reached into it.
With the small wrench in hand, Sixty hid it in his CyberLife blazer and stood up before he snuck away from his desk.
It was about a half hour later that a crash and scream were heard and Leah's and Tina's heads shot up before they stood up and ran to Gavin, pulling him upright as Connor, Hank and the others ran into the squad room.
"Alright, who fucking messed with my chair?!" Gavin demanded.
Not amused in the slightest, Fowler looked at everyone.
"I don't have time for my officers to pull juvenile pranks! Somebody better start talking!" Fowler explained.
Tina and Leah helped Gavin sit down in Tina's chair, Leah glancing at Sixty and narrowing her eyes.
And Gavin knew that they were thinking the same thing.
