From This Moment On-Ch 10
Penelope felt her heart racing when she heard a knock at the door, she just sat there looking from Reid to her hands that were placed in her lap and then back to Reid again. She wanted to see her family but at the same time she was afraid, afraid that they would be mad at her for leaving and not contacting them since she's snuck away while they were gone on a case.
Reid stood ip and said, "it's okay I'll go let them in", she nodded her head yes and then glanced up in time to see him walking across the living room and heading toward the door. When Reid opened the door everybody started walking through wondering just whose place this was and why they were here.
Derek was the last person to come in so he shut the door and then walked over to join the others in the nice looking living room, as he looked around he smiled thinking that this would be something that his baby girl would like, he then shook his head and looked up at Reid as he along with the others waited to see what was going on.
When Reid had walked over to answer the door Penelope panicked and got up and ran for the nursery, she couldn't do this, she couldn't see them, she didn't know why she'd agreed to do this and now wishes that she could take everything back.
Dave said, "okay kid, we're here but where is here exactly, I mean who lives here?", Reid grinned and said, "you will find out in just a minute, I'll be right back". The team all stood looking at each other wondering who they were there to see, well everybody but JJ was wondering, JJ was anxious to see her best friend again after not being with her or seeing her for over a year
Reid walked into the nursery and over to Penelope and said, "they're here, come on", she shook her head and said, "I can't Spencer, can you please ask them to leave?", he took her by the hands and said, "no can do Garcia, come on, we're all your family and we love you, come onnn" as he pulled her across the room.
Everybody looked around as Reid said, "guys, this is who you're here to see" and he stepped aside so that they could see Penelope standing behind him. JJ was the first to react, she said, "Garcie, Garcie, is that you?" as she ran across the room and pulled her friend into her arms and hugged her tightly,
She was followed closely by Emily and the others, well not everybody, Derek was still standing stock still beside the couch where he had been standing since he had arrived at the small but nice looking apartment.
Everybody was telling her how much they had missed her and how they wanted her to come back, she smiled and told everybody that she missed them too. It was then that Derek walked across the room and did the one thing he'd been wanting to do since there amazing night together.
He pulled her into his arms and crashed his lips against hers in a passionate kiss, the team stood watching the couple as they were wrapped in each others arms kissing. Reid smiled, he was happy but he wondered if the kiss would be enough to persuade his stubborn friend who was hell bent on staying right where she was.
When they pulled apart Derek touched her cheek and said, "is this real, are you really here baby girl?", she nodded her head and said, "it's real, it's me, it's me Derek" as he pulled her back to him and kissed the top of her head.
Penelope had missed him so much and now that she was in his arms she never wanted to leave but she had to, she had to push away and stand there looking him up in the face, he was as handsome as he was the morning she'd left his place to head to work, ohhhh how she loved this man and she wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of her life with him but things were different now, now she had Hank.
Almost on cue as she opened her mouth to say something a cry came from the other room, everybody looked at each other and Reid said, "it's okay Garcia, I'll get him". Derek looked at his baby girl and said, "b b baby, you have a baby?", she nodded her head and said, "I do" before walking across the room to take her son into her arms.
She then turned around and said, "everybody I would like for you to meet my son, Hank Spencer Garcia, Morgan", Derek's eyes lit up like fireworks on the fourth of July. Had she just said what he thought she had said, did she just say her sons name was Hank Spencer Garcia Morgan, did he have a son with the love of his life.
Penelope walked over to him and said, "Derek, would you like to hold your son?", he happily and proudly nodded his head yes and with tears streaming down his cheeks he held the little boy into his arms and said, "hey little man, I'm your daddy", he then hugged the baby tight and said, "I love you, I love you so so much" as the rest of the team stood smiling as they watched the father and son finally getting to meet and bond.
