From This Moment On-Ch 17
Over the next couple of days the BAU family managed to get everything packed up and loaded onto the Rossi jet so that Penelope and Hank could get set up in Derek's place aka their new home as soon as possible, everything was arranged so that the team could all help the happy little family get things moved in as soon as possible. Penelope had been so busy packing that she hadn't noticed that Reid and Dave had snuck out, they had snuck out to help Sheila get her things packed up and hidden on the jet with Penelope and Hanks things so that she too was ready to head back to Virginia.
Derek happily agreed to get Sheila to live with them and take care of Hank while him and Penelope worked, that way they knew that their son would be in excellent hands, Fran loved the idea of having Sheila watch her grandson because it was so obvious that she truly loved the little boy and his entire family so she was a very welcomed addition to their clan. Monica's things were packed and already on the jet, JJ and Emily used an excuse of picking up something for their sons so that they could help Monica get her things loaded with the rest of the stuff from Penelope and Sheila, now that everybody was packed and ready, it was time to head back to Virginia.
As they all headed out of Penelope's apartment she sighed as she looked across the hall at Sheilas apartment, ohhhh how she was going to miss Sheila, she was one of the first people that Penelope had met when she moved here, she was so sweet, kind and caring and Hank loved her from the minute he was born and she held him in her arms.
After getting everybody loaded into the SUVs they headed toward the airstrip so they could head back home, back to Virginia, back to where they belonged, everything felt so unreal, after being gone for over a year she was going back home, she was happy and nervous but as she looked at the people in the car with her and in the ones in front of her she couldn't help but smile knowing that she was a lucky, lucky woman.
When they pulled up beside the jet Derek got out first and then grabbed Hanks carseat and then held out his hand to his future bride, she smiled happily and said, "thank you kind sir", he winked at her and said, "anything for you baby girl, anything for you", they walked hand in hand toward the jet, she stopped at the bottom of the stairs and took a deep breath.
Derek looked at her and said, "you okay sweetness?", she nodded her head and said, "yeah, it's just I'm gonna miss Sheila and Monica, they, well they're my family too and now I'm not going to be able to see them everyday like I did when I lived here", Derek smiled down at her and said, "don't worry goddess, you'll see them again", she said, "really, ya think so?", he leaned down and kissed her gently on the lips and said, "I know so".
Everybody walked around then and walked up the stairs of the jet, they all wanted to be on board so they could see the smile on Penelope's face when she saw Sheila and Monica sitting there waiting on her, as soon as the others were on board and ready Derek said, "come on gorgeous, it's time to go home, it's time for us to start the next part of our lives together".
She nodded her head and said, "let's get this party started then angelfish", as she once again slid her hand into his and they started walking up the stairs of the jet, when they were on board she turned around and squealed when she heard Sheila and Monica's voice saying in unison, "what took you so long?", she ran over to them and pulled them both into a hug and said, "what are you doing here?", Sheila sad, "you're looking at your new babysitter". Penelope turned to look at Derek who said, "she's been a member of your family for over a year and now, now she's a member of ours, a welcomed member, they both are" as he pointed from Monica to Sheila.
Dave said,"and Monica is going to run the bar, she's the new owner", Penelope clapped her hands and said, "now my family will be complete, now everybody that me and Hank love will be with us, thank you, thank you, thank you" as she hugged everybody over and over before finally sitting down between Derek and their son.
As the jet taxied down the runway Derke and Penelope intertwined fingers and he brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it and said, "I love you baby girl", she winked at her and said, "and I love you hot stuff and I love you"
