From This Moment On-Ch 18
When the jet landed in Virginia the team grabbed their things and headed down the stairs of the jet, they were so glad to be home and to have Penelope, Hank and two other new members of their family with them, JJ and Emily looked at Penelope as JJ said, "Garcie, we're going to go grab Henry and Jack, we'll meet you guys at Derek's in a little while", Penelope grinned and nodded her head yes.
Dave said, "how about we grab some pizza and drinks and take them to your place, that way we can eat first and then start unpacking the stuff from the rental truck?", Derek said, "sounds good to me, this way we can get Hank home and down for a nap in his portable crib while we get the other one put up", Reid said, "it shouldn't take long to get a crib put up but fixing the rest of the nursery, now that, that might take a while".
Penelope said, "you're right about that boy wonder, it took me a couple of weeks to get Hank's nursery done the first time", Derek kissed the end of her nose and said, "but that was you and Sheila, just the two of you working on it, now, now you have all of us helping soooooo it won't take long at all baby girl, you'll see we'll have everything moved in and put away in no time".
Monica said, "I agree with Derek on this one, once we get back to your place and get the boxes unloaded we can split everything up and take different rooms and have everything done in no time at all", Fran said, "I like the way you think" causing the woman to grin and say, "thank you" as the trio of women walked over to watch as the workers loaded the boxes onto the rental truck.
The back of the rental truck was completely full with the stuff from Penelope, Hank, Sheila and Monica all in it, Derek glanced over his shoulder and saw Dave and Hotch talking, he overheard Dave placing the food order, he then turned his attention back to his son who was now crying, Derek put the carseat down and unbuckled his son and said, "it's okay buddy, it's okay, daddy's got you, daddy's got you" as he held the boy in his arms and rocked him back and forth.
Penelope stood smiling as she watched how fast Derek was able to quiet their son down, he was an amazing father and watching him with Hank made her realize what a mistake she made in not coming home earlier, not bringing their son to him, she was pulled from her thoughts when Reid said "you okay Garcia?", she said, "yeah boy wonder, just fine, just thinking is all".
He said, "how does it feel to be back home?", she smiled and said, "it feels amazing, I'm so glad to be back home but it will take a little getting use to again, I mean I was gone for over a year", Derek said, "baby girl can I ask you something?", she said, "sure angelfish, ask away", he said, "are you gonna bring back the bubbly blonde that I fell in love with?", she said, "as a matter of fact I am, I am planning on doing that this week and I'm gonna shed the contacts and get my trademark glasses back too".
Derek leaned down and brushed his lips against hers and said, "good deal goddess, good deal but don't get me wrong, you're gorgeous this way too, it's justttttttt I want my original baby girl back", Penelope grinned and said, "and come back she shall my love, come back she shall and with a vengenace" causing Derek to laugh.
A little while later they were pulling up in front of Derek and Penelope's place, they arrived around two minutes before JJ and Emily did with the boys and when the boys saw their auntie Penelope standing in the yard they took off running toward her squealing her name over and over, she dropped down to her knees and pulled the two little boys into her arms and hugged them tight, ohhhh how she had missed them.
When she pulled away she said, "I have somebody that I want you two too meet" as she stood up beside Derek, the two little boys smiled as Derek leaned down as Penelope said "this is my little boy, this is your cousin Hank", she then said, "Hank this is your cousin Henry and this is your cousin Jack and they are gonna love you and spoil you just like the others are".
Jack said, "he's so tiny", Henry said ,"he's widdle, how old is he?", Penelope said, "almost 3 months old but don't worry before you know it he'll be as big as you", the two boys said, "wowwwwww" in unison as they stood looking down at the little boy who was now sleeping peacefully in his fathers loving arms.
A few minutes later Sarah and Desi arrived with the pizzas and drinks, everybody headed inside, they decided to eat first before unloading the huge truck, they knew that they were in for a longgg day and right now eating delicious pizza was just what the doctor ordered
