From This Moment On-Ch 23
Over the next couple of days the BAU family along with Sheila and Monica worked to get everything ready for the wedding that everybody had been waiting on since the day the two lovers met, the wedding of Derek and Penelope had been years in the making and now that it was here they couldn't wait for the happy couple to get married.
Penelope opened her eyes and smiled, today was the day, today was the day that she married the love of her life, the father of her son Hank, her angel fish, her hotstuff, her Derek, she had spent the night at the Rossi mansion with the rest of the women so they could celebrate her last night of freedom.
The men had all stayed at casa Hotchner and gave the groom to be a bachelor party, they laughed, talked and drank while they celebrated Derek's last night as a single men, they had made a promise that there would be no strippers, no women at all and the women too had promised no strippers and no men at their party at all.
Henry and Jack stayed with the women and Hank at the Rossi mansion so JJ and Em could get them ready for the wedding the next morning before getting themselves and then helping Sheila, Fran and Monica with Penelope, so to say that everybody was going to be busy this morning was a complete and total understatement.
The men were currently sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee and eating donuts and muffins that Sarah and Desi had dropped off, the men were currently looking at a very nervous and yes very funny Derek Morgan, Reid laughed and shook his head and said, "calm down Morgan, she isn't gonna change her mind, she's not gonna leave you, she loves you now sit down, drink your coffee and eat your donuts already".
Dave said, "son you need to calm down, you act like you're the first man to ever get married here", Derek said, "listen Dave, you have been married like what 15 times?", Dave said, "heyyyy, it's three times with your momma being the third and final Mrs. Rossi, thank you very much", Derek sighed and said, "yeah, yeah I know, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's just, I'm, well I'm nervous that's all".
Hotch put his hand on his friends shoulder and said, "Morgan, you're not the first nervous groom and you won't be the last, I'm sure that you haven't forgotten how nervous I was when I married Em, or how nervous Spencer was the day he married JJ", Derek grinned as memories of their weddings filled his mind.
Dave said, "now me, I was calm, cool and collected", Reid rolled his eyes and said, "really, mister I forgot to put on my pants", Dave looked at the younger agent and said, "heyyyyyy, I only forgot for a minute, it's not like I walked half naked into the church in front of everybody now is it?", Derek laughed and said, "thanks guys, I really needed this", then the room filled with laughter as the men all started laughing.
Meanwhile at the Rossi mansion Penelope threw the covers back and headed downstairs to join the others, when she got to the bottom of the stairs she could smell coffee and chocolate, she smiled and said to herself, "Fran must have made double chocolate muffins for breakfast", she giggled and said, "yummmmm" as she made her way toward the kitchen.
She walked into the kitchen to see Sheila feeding Hank, he looked so adorable in his little onsie that said, "rotten like my daddy", Penelope laughed and said, "truer words have never been spoken" as she pointed down at the eating child, Fran said, "good morning honey, how are you this morning?", Penelope said, :"nervous, but that's normal, right?", the women all nodded their heads yes.
Sheila said, "eat up sweetie, it's gonna be a long day", Penelope joined them at the table and smiled at JJ as she poured her a cup of coffee and put it down in front of her, Penelope then reached into the basket on the table and got a muffin, she said, "ohhhh this smells amazing Fran", she then tore off a bite and popped it into her mouth and said, "ohhhhhhh that is yummyyyyy and just what I needed today".
Emily said, "since the wedding is here in the backyard, the men will be in the pool house after they get here later", Penelope nodded her head and said, "speaking of men, how is mine this morning?", Desi giggled and said, "nervous, your man is a nervous wreck", Sarah nodded her head and said, "that he is, that he is, I have never seen him like this before".
Fran looked around the room and then at Penelope and said, "it's not everyday that he marries the love of his life either, soooooo of course he's nervous", Emily started laughing and said, "do you all remember what happened on my wedding day?", everybody started laughing as Emily and JJ started telling the stories of the day they got married to Reid and Hotch so that Sheila and Monica would know and understand how the BAU men roll.
When the girls were finished telling their stories Sheila and Monica were laughing so hard that they almost lost their breath, Penelope said, :"so yeah, that's the family you're in now ladies and nooooo you can't get out of it", Monica looked at Sheila and said, "don't know about you but I don't want to go anywhere", Sheila shook her head and said, "nope, me neither", the women then continued eating their breakfast and drinking their coffee.
