From This Moment On-Ch 24
After breakfast Sarah, Desi and Sheila took the trio of little boys upstairs to get them dressed and ready for the wedding while JJ, Emily, Fran and Monica headed upstairs with the bride to start getting her ready, Fran glanced at Penelope and smiled, she smiled because today was the day her son was finally going to marry the woman he'd been in love with for years, his baby girl, his Penelope.
Penelope had always been like another daughter to her, it happened from the first moment they met, she was so kind and loving, she had one of the biggest hearts of anybody that she'd ever met and it was oh so obvious from the first time she saw Penelope and Derek together that they were perfect together, that they were destined to be together forever.
Once they got into the bedroom Penelope smiled and said, "alright where do we start?", JJ said, "since Em and I are already dressed, why don't Fran and Monica go ahead and get dressed and we'll get started on getting the bride into her dress and doing her makeup and hair so that the groom doesn't think that his bride isn't gonna show up".
Penelope looked at her friend and said, "surely he doesn't think that does he?", JJ said, "with Morgan, anything is possible, he's probably a nervous wreck right now", Penelope said, "I know that me leaving was a bad idea but there was no way that I could stay here, I couldn't stay here after sleeping with an engaged man", she lowered her head only to have it raised again when Fran put her finger under Penelopes chin.
Fran said, "Penelope Grace Garcia, I want you to listen to me and listen good", Penelope swallowed as Fran said, "my son has been head over heels in love with you since the first day he met you but the timing was never right or he was seeing somebody or you were and then this crap with Savannah happened but, you, you were the bright spot, you have always shown my son love and I have no doubt that you will be happy".
Penelope smiled and said, "if only I'd stayed, he said that he was going to tell me that he'd broken up with Savannah but I, I", JJ said, "honey, you didn't know, you had no idea that they had already broken up, Derek had gone to Savannah and told her that he cared for her but he loved you, he's always loved you, always Garcie".
Emily said, "he's in your heart like you are in his, whenever he's around you he is the happiest man I've ever seen but when you left, when you were gone and we couldn't find you, PG, he was lost, he was so so sad, he was broken, completely broken", tears now streamed down Penelope's face and she said, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry", seconds later she felt several sets of arms wrapping around her.
When they pulled apart Fran said, "all of that is over with now, you and Derek are getting married today, the team found you and brought you and Hank back to us so now let's not think about what happened in the past, from now on let's just think and focus on what's happening now, today is the day that you get married, so let's get you ready before my son gets here".
Penelope grinned and nodded her head yes as she wiped the tears away that were streaming down her cheeks, Fran said, "we'll go get ready and be back", Penelope blew out a deep breath and said, "okay" as she walked over to where JJ and Emily were now standing so they could help her on with her dress.
Meanwhile at Casa Hotchner, Derek, was pacing back and forth across the living room, Dave, Hotch and Reid watched him and shook their heads, Reid said, "Morgan if you don't stop pacing you're gonna have to redo Hotch's floor", Derek stopped pacing and looked at them and said, "sorry, it's just that I'm" and all three men said, "nervous" in unison and seconds later the four men laughed.
Dave glanced down at his watch and said, "it's time for us to head out, are you ready son, are you ready to marry kitten?", Derek smiled and said, "I've never been more ready for anything in my life Dave", the older man grinned and said, "well then, what are we waiting on, let's get the two of you married", Derek grinned and said, "let's gooooooo" as he followed them across the room and out the front door.
