From This Moment On-Ch 26
Sheila and Monica made their way upstairs with Hank, he wanted to see his mommy before the ceremony, he looked so cute in his little outfit, everybody thought it was adorable that he was going to be the ring bearer, he would be holding the rings that were tied to a pillow via ribbon and Sheila would be the one to carry him up the aisle when the time came. As they stopped in front of the bedroom door Monica said, "if anybody deserves to be happy it is the two of them", Sheila nodded her head and said, "that they do Mon, that they doooooo" as she raised her hand to knock on the door.
Dsei walked over and opened the door she smiled and said, "come in ladies and of course little gentleman" as she stepped back to let the trio into the room, Penelope looked up and saw her son and smiled, she made her way over to him and said, "how's mommy's little man?" as she caressed his chubby cheek, Sheila said, "he's getting a little fussy so we thought it might be a good idea to bring him and let him see you before the ceremony started", Penelope nodded her head yes as she took her son into her arms, JJ then quickly wrapped something around her chest to keep anything from getting on her dress, the last thing they had time for today was to clean up baby throw up and Penelope grinned and said, "thanks Jayje", JJ winked and said, "anytime Garcie, anytime".
Meanwhile outside Dave looked down at his watch and said, "welllllll if you will excuse me I need to go get the bride", Derek smiled and said, "it's finally time, it's finally happening", Reid said, "take a deep breath and let it out slowly Morgan", Derek grinned and said, "I'm not in labor pretty boy, I'm getting married", Hotch said, "listen to him Morgan, the deep breaths do help". Derek took in a deep breath and then let it out slowly, he then looked at Reid and said, "thanks Reid, I do feel better now", Reid grinned at the obviously nervous groom and siad, "well I am more than just a pretty face" causing Derek and Hotch to laugh out loud, Reid said, "what, I am more than just a pretty face", Derek said, "okay, sureeeee you are, now come on pretty face, let's get me married", Reid laughed as he put his hand on Derek's shoulder and said, "what are we waiting for then, let's goooo".
The women were all talking upstairs when they heard another knock at the door, Fran said, "that must be Dave, it's almost time", Penelope smiled and kissed her son's chubby cheek and said, "mommy loves you soooo much, now be a good boy for grandma Sheila and mommy will see you out in the backyard, okay?", Sheila said, "you look beautiful", Monica said, "I second that honey, you look breathtaking". Sarah and Desi hugged their soon to be sister in law and said, "we'll see you outside", she nodded her head and said, "thanks again ladies", Desi said, "anything for family Penelope" and then the two Morgan sisters walked out of the room, closely followed by Monica, Sheila and Hank.
Fran smiled and said, "well that's my cue to head on out, but I do agree with the others honey, you look so beautiful", JJ and Emily nodded their heads yes in agreement and Emily said, "we'll see out out there", Penelope said, "we'll be right there", the others then left leaving Dave and Penelope alone for a few minutes. Dave looked at her and said, "soooo any second thoughts?", she shook her head no and siad, "nope, not a one, wait, why, is Derek having them?", Dave laughed and said, "never kitten, he's out in that backyard ready and waiting on you so that the two of you can get married and spend the rest of your lives together" causing her to smile and blow out a deep breath in relief.
Dave then said, "well kitten, today has been a long time coming and if anybody deserves this happiness, it's you and Derek", Penelope said, "thanks papa bear, that means so much coming from you", Dave held out his arm and said, "shall we go and get you married?", she looped her arm through his and said, "let's do it papa bear, let's do it" as the father/daughter duo then started making their way out of the room and down the stairs so that they could join JJ and Emily in the backyard. When they walked over to the smiling girls JJ said, "are you ready?", Penelope said, "as ready as I'm ever gonna be", Emily stepped over and motioned for the music to start, she then smiled and said, "here we go" as she started slowly making her way up the rose petal path that led to the archway where our nervous groom stood with Reid and Hotch.
Derek watched as first Em and then JJ made their way slowly up the aisle, they looked beautiful in their dresses but the woman he was waiting on hadn't made her appearance yet, when Derek looked up and saw Sheila and Hank making their way up the aisle he couldn't help but smile, his son was adorable and seeing how adorable Hank was made him want to have more with Peneleope and the sooner the better. When Sheila and Hank were in the front with the others the music changed to the bridal march, everybody stood and turned to face the back as Dave and Penelope took their places at the end of the aisle.
Derek watched as she made her way up the aisle, ohhhh she looked amazing in that dress and the way it hugged her perfect curves made him inwardly moan in appreciation, the closer she was getting the more nervous he was getting, what if he forgot his vows, what if she changed her mind at the last minute, he was pulled from his thoughts when Reid elbowed him in the side and whispered, "stop that". Derek grinned and said, "thanks pretty boy" as his attention then turned to his bride to be and step father as they stopped beside him and turned to face him.
Dave took Penelope's hand and put it in Derek's and said, "you look amazing kitten", he then kissed her cheek and walked over to join the others as Derek and Penelope then turned hand in hand to face the minister that was standing in front of them ready to start the ceremony that would bond them together forever as husband and wife. After looking around at the smiling faces the minister cleared his throat and then looked down at the bride and groom and started the ceremony by simply saying "dearly beloved", those two words were the starting point of their lives that would soon be joined together forever
