Omni-Magic Summer EP 21: The House of the Ghouls Part 1

The Rainboom bus was driving on a lovely country road, heading towards their next gig as the Rainbooms and Ben were all chilling. "MAN! This is going to be awesome!" "I know right? We never had a gig this far before!" Pinkie comments as Rainbow glees. Applejack drove the bus as she spoke out. "Now, hang on there y'all! We won't play at the annual 'Apple family music hoedown' until tomorrow. So, let's save some energy, okay?" "The others agree as Fluttershy looks up cute animal pics on her phone as Twilight reads while Rarity checks her makeup it soon becomes stormy as the rain starts to pour as they drive through some woods as well.
But a certain 10-year-old, along for the ride, is arguing on his phone as Sunset feels her eye twitch in annoyance as it was shared with the others. "Someone should tell Ben that." She grits out. "Change it!" "No way! You change yours!" Gwen argues back on speakerphone. "It's your turn, Gwen!" Ben frowns as the girl responds. "Sorry! But I already picked the cake, color-coordinated the balloons, and sent the invitations! To which, I have one for you." "Who plans their birthday party, 6 months in advance, other than Twilight or Pinkie?" "Hey!" Twilight frowns out. "I only plan my birthday one month in advance."
"The one who gets to celebrate it on her actual birthday?" Sunset had enough as she spoke out. "Enough! Ben, what is going on here?! You've been arguing with your cousin, ever since the last stop!" Ben got a guilty look as he apologized. "Sorry, Sunset. See, Gwen and I share the same birthday, but the problem is we both have different ideas on how to celebrate them. And some of our friends and family can only attend one of our parties! So, we're trying to convince one another to change their party date." "Sounds more like arguing than convincing." Sunset points out.
"She's right!" Ben glanced at the phone to see Max speaking in it. "You 2 have shared the same birthday for 10 years! And if you don't stop arguing, neither of you will make it to 11!" In response to Max's statement, Gwen hangs up the phone, but Ben knows this isn't over as he sighs. "Well, that happened." "Finally! You 2 were bickering more than 2 badgers over a scrap of apple pie." Applejack glances back with a frown.
But as the cowgirl was distracted, she did not see 2 teenagers crossing the road as the headlights shined on them and the girl of the 2 cried out. "They're coming! Help!" Applejack glanced forward and gasped, slamming the brakes as the others cried out. "APPLEJACK!" The cowgirl got worried as the bus was closing in!
Intro:
A Galaxy is shown with some planets as outer space music is heard.
Just for a flash of green light to occur, it shows the Omnitrix symbol with Ben's silhouette in the middle as the song picks up.
"It started when an alien device did what it did."
The 1st clip is Ben discovering the Omnitrix as it latches onto his arm as he panics.
He then presses down on the dial, transforming him into Heatblast as he cries out.
"And stuck itself upon his wrist with secrets that it hid."
"Now he's got superpowers; he's no ordinary kid. He's Ben 10! (Ben 10!)"
The logo flashes a bit before showing off aliens:
Grey Matter, Overflow, Shock Rock, Heatblast, Tear-Wolf, Lodestar and Astrodactyl.
"So if you see him, you might be in for a big surprise."
"He'll turn into an alien before your very eyes!"
The boy is then shown transforming into Tear-Wolf as six more aliens appear and zoom in:
Upgrade, Shock Rock, XLR8, Four Arms, Heatblast and Tear-Wolf.
" He's slimy, freaky, fast, and strong; he's every shape and size."
"He's Ben 10! (Ben 10!)"
Just then, a flash-animated Ben runs towards the screen, flips, and morphs into Tear-Wolf.
He bites at the screen as a black and green '1'. Appear next to him.
2: Four Arms is next as he grins, raises his arms, and flexes.
3: Grey Matter leaps at the screen, only to splat comically.
4: XLR8 appears and zooms away.
"Armed with powers, he's on the case!"
"Fighting off evil from Earth or space!"
5: Upgrade wiggles his legs around as he raises his arms.
6: Shock Rock generates lots of power and blasts a large beam of blue energy across the screen.
7: Overflow flies upward on his water blasts.
8: Astrodactyl displays his whips and then rockets away on his jetpack.
"He'll never stop 'till he makes them pay!"
"Cause he's the baddest kid ever to save the day!"
9: Lodestar raises his claws as they generate a green aura as several pieces of metal float around him.
10: Heatblast chucks a fireball at the screen as Ben lands on the ground with his fist, cracking it as he grins.
"Ben 10! (Ben 10! B-B-B-Ben! Ben 10! B-B-B-Ben!)"
Tear-Wolf is then shown leaping from some trees as he looks fierce.
Shock Rock poses as he finishes transforming.
Sunset and the Rainbooms are shown powering up into their magic forms.
Heatblast chucks a fireball.
Ben is then shown slapping down on the Omnitrix.
The Mane 6, Spike, the royal sisters, the royal crystal family, Discord, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and reformed Changelings, and Ben in griffon form stood together as they glared at someone as the Omnitrix boy smirked with crossed arms.
Twilight is shown fighting a giant bird monster as she uses her magic to slam it down on the ground.
Four Arms cries out as he finishes transforming.
XLR8 is shown running on top of the water.
The opening finishes up as the aliens all get sucked into the Omnitrix. Ben shows it while green rays come from it as the title appears next to him.
Ben 10: Omni-Magic Summer.
The bus kept speeding as the 2 teens quickly leaped to one side as Applejack steered the bus in another direction, but the 2 teens bounced on the road and went down a small cliff, quickly grabbing onto a branch as the girl held onto the boy, who is holding on the wood for life. "Help!" She cries out as the bus stops and Ben gets out, ready to go hero! "Astrodactyl to the rescue!" But when Ben slaps on the Omnitrix, he instead turns into Cannonbolt as he groans out. "Oh, man! Can't this thing ever get it right?" Nonetheless, he curled up and went after the teens, just as they lost their grip and screamed as they fell!
Luckily, Cannonbolt went after and managed to grab them both! "Gotcha!" He quickly curled up and brought the kids inside as he bounced on the ground, knocked a tree over, and rolled to a stop. He flops on his back as the 2 teens slowly shake their heads as their visions come to. "Are you 2 okay?" The alien asks as both teens freak at the sight of the being, they both faint in response. "Uh... I'll take that as a no."
Ben somehow got back to the bus with the teens in tow. They lie the teens down on 2 chairs as the others observe them. "How are they, Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash asks. "Hmm... Just a few scraps and brushes, but other than that, they're both okay." Fluttershy states. The teen boy has blonde, spikey hair, a green sweater with a purple stripe across the chest, rolled-up sleeves, jeans, and brown hiking shoes. The girl has pink hair that is pulled back in a small ponytail. She is wearing a black shirt with a white stripe across the chest, a pink bandana around her neck, a yellow vest with a pink watch on her right wrist, and grey pants with blue and white shoes.
Applejack observes them. "But they're both out cold, from the looks of things." Pinkie Pie speaks out. "The boy's name is Cooper Chance and the girl is Amber Ashleen." "Whoa! How do you know that?" Ben asks as the party girl responds. "Just a hunch!" "And they also have wallets on them, darlings." Rarity points out as she digs through their pants pockets and shows the items in question that show their I.D.s.
"Whoa! Check out Cooper's arm." Sunset points at some scratch and bite marks as Ben pokes at them in disgust as Twilight analyzes. "Those are some nasty scars!" "It looks like he was in a scuffle with a wild animal. They must have been hiking through the woods and ended up lost." "Come on, Y'all! We'll take them to town with us and drop them off with the police. They'll up these 2 reunite with their folks, no problem." Applejack states as she starts the bus up and drives off.
But as they kept driving, Sunset was looking out the window in boredom, only to spot a couple of weird shadows that looked like figures on a tree branch! The girl rubs her eyes in disbelief and checks again to find the figures are gone! "I must be seeing things..."
But unbeknownst to them, the exact figures were hiding behind a tree as the bus was about to pass it. They both cackle at each other as they both hold out a hand. One generates flames while the other grows ice spikes on the hand. They fired them as they nailed the right tires of the bus, melting the back wheel and popping the front one as the bus came to a stop. The figures grin and bump fists as they retreat into the shadows.
"Looks like we blew a couple of flats! We're going to need to find some help since we don't have any spare with us." Rainbow reports as she stood outside the bus, having observed the problem. "What about that house over there?" Pinkie points out at a large and creepy-looking, mansion, behind a steel gate as Ben mumbles out. "If this isn't the setup for a horror movie or video game, I don't know what is!" Nonetheless, the group managed to open the gate, and both Four Arms and Applejack were able to push the bus up to the front door. They brought Cooper and Amber inside as the alien times out as well.
Inside the house, the group looks around with flashlights they got from the bus, feeling a bit creeped out. "Looks like nobody's been in here for years." Rainbow points as they look around. Just then, Rarity screams in horror as all eyes are on her! "What is it, Rarity?!" Sunset asks as the girl points at some old curtains as she hollers out. "Look at those curtains! The colors are just hideous and covered in icky-yucky dust and who knows what! Are they on my dress?! Get it off my dress!" She waves her arms frantically as the rest deadpan at Rarity's diva attitude. "Really?" Applejack raised an eyebrow as she kept a firm hold of Cooper on her back as Rainbow carried Amber.
Just then, Pinkie's nose caught something as she went towards a door and opened it, looking inside as she called out. "Hey! I smell something yummy in here!" "I hope it's not something scary." Fluttershy mumbles, only to yip and hide behind Ben at the sound of thunder and lightning flashing in the skies outside. "Really?" Ben frowns at the girl. "We're only in here for what, a minute? 2 tops and you're doing this?" Ben just follows the others as did the scared girl.
The group saw they had entered a kitchen as Twilight called out. "Hello? Is anyone in here?" "Looks abandoned..." Ben states as Applejack wipes some dust off a counter with her finger and comments. "Yep! Definitely abandoned." "I don't think so, fellas!" Pinkie waves from over a table and gestures to a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, only it has smoke coming off it as Pinkie feels it. "This plate is still warm, meaning someone was here, before us." "Nice job, Pinkie." Sunset smiles at the clue, only for more lightning to flash, and the power goes out! The girls quickly switched on the flashlights and looked around, only to hear something as they looked around! Only to find Ben, digging into the food as he slurps up some noodles as pasta sauce is smeared around his mouth.
"What?" He states at the looks he is getting. "I'm hungry!" Just then, they heard a noise coming from a nearby door. "What was that?" Rarity asked as they went to investigate it. They opened the door to come across a big pantry, looking around the place with flashlights as they kept their guards up. A light shines on another door, only for a shadow puppet of a dog to appear. Ben just grins as he goofs around with his flashlight and Pinkie joins by making a rabbit. Rainbow and Applejack face palms at the 2.
As Rarity kept looking, she looked at a slightly opened cabinet and spotted 2 glowing eyes in it! "AHHH!" The fashion teen screams in horror as he drops her light, which reveals the eyes belong to 2 teens, hiding in it. "Is it safe?" They both ask as they come out as the Rainbooms and Ben gather to talk to them. "Are you 2 okay?" Sunset asks as the boy responds. "We think so." "Why are you 2 here, of all places?" Rainbow asks them both. "Well, we were part of a camping group that decided to host a campout in these woods. But while we were camping, we heard some strange noises and felt something was watching us, so we tried to leave."
The girl continues. "But when the storm came, we and 10 other campers got separated from the others and we stumbled upon this old house, taking shelter from the rain. But as we were exploring, some of us began to disappear. Then, we heard some growling, like from a monster, and screams from more campers! All we could find of them were their discarded torches. Just as we made some food to calm ourselves, we heard a strange noise, coming from the basement door, and ducked into here in hiding!" Some of the Rainbooms were scared by the story while the others just looked concerned.
"By the way, I'm Matt. This is my cousin, Amy." Matt introduced as the girl waved with a small smile as the Rainbooms introduced themselves and Ben. "Okay... If we got missing people to look for, we need to split up, but in groups of 2." Sunset states after pondering as Twilight speaks out. "Agreed. That way, one can cover the other, if there is some creature lurking around the place. So, me and Sunset will be in one group, Rarity and Pinkie in another, and Applejack and Rainbow Dash in the last one. Fluttershy can stay with Matt, Amy, Cooper, Amber, and Ben."
But as they went back to the kitchen, Ben was shocked at being benched as he went up to Sunset. "What?! You're benching me?!" "It's not like that, Ben. I was hoping you could stay behind and protect Fluttershy and the others. In case something happens, okay?" The boy thinks about it and nods in response. The 6 left as Matt and Amy checked up on Cooper and Amber, who were lying on a large table to act like a makeshift bed.
After a bit of waiting, Ben fiddles with his phone, only to groan out. "Great! No signal to watch or play Sumo Slammers and I can't call Gwen back to finally settle it!" "You're still hung up on that birthday, thing? Can't you 2 share it?" Fluttershy spoke in a dismayed tone as Ben spoke back. "You don't what it's like having to share a birthday with a relative, every single year!" Ben spoke out as he frowned at no signal as the girl responded with crossed arms. "I work with animals, every day, Ben. Including those that are born on the same day." "Whatever." Ben rolls his eyes.
Just then, Cooper and Amber groaned as they woke up and sat up. "Wha... What happened?" The girl asked as Fluttershy came up and spoke to them. "Oh, you're both awake. I thought you 2 won't wake up after we almost accidentally hit you both with our bus. But don't worry, we managed to find 2 of your friends and-" But as Cooper looks around his surroundings, he became very worried and freaking out as did Amber.
"Oh, no! No, no, no, no! You shouldn't have brought us back here!" "I... Don't understand. I thought you 2 were looking for help and trying to find your way back to this house?" Fluttershy is confused and worried at the way they are acting as is Ben. The Element of Kindness starts getting scared a bit when Amber grabs her by the shoulder and leans her face in with a frantic look. "You don't understand! We weren't trying to find our way back, we were trying to get away from here as fast as possible!"
"AAAHHHHHH!" A familiar scream is heard as Ben exclaims. "That sounded like Rarity!" But as he tried to go out the door, he was yanked back by his jacket by Cooper as the teen held him to a wall. "Don't go out there! You do, and they will hunt you down!" But the kid was not worried as he brushed the blonde teen's warnings and his hands off as he showed the Omnitrix. "Chill! I have animal instinct."
Tear-wolf was dashing and tearing through the big halls of the house as he tried to use his ears and nose to find his friends. He bashes through a door and ends up leaping down a flight of stairs and sees he has landed in the basement. The wolf alien doesn't mind the darkness as his eyes have night vision. "Sunset? Pinkie? Rainbow? Rarity?" He calls out, wondering where they are as he sniffs the place. Just then, his nose caught something as he followed the scent. "That smell... It smells like Rarity's perfume!" He arrives at a large Relic Store.
The alien werewolf gazes around, until he spots Rarity, only to find her entangled by several, green, with small thorns vines that are alive. "Ben! Help!" The girl cries out as the vines cover her mouth and drag the teen toward another doorway. "Hang on, Rarity! I'm coming!" Tear-wolf cries out as he runs after the diva teen. The alien finds himself in a set of Catacombs. "This place is getting creepier by the minute." He kept running, chasing after Rarity. But just then, some bony arms burst out of the ground in front as the alien slides to a stop.
The alien is shocked as green, mummified hands burst out of as well and they start digging out bodies that are part of them. Surrounding the alien hero are skeletons with claws that are half the size of Four Arms and have green dots for eyes. With them are 7-ft tall mummies that have parts of decayed green skin showing as it's little to no rotten teeth. They open their mouths to howl out as some of their limbs have bits of Egyptian accessories on them. Some of them pull out large, golden staffs with red crystal and slam them on the ground, welding them like hammers.
"This is new..." Tear-Wolf mumbles out, but growls nonetheless as he gets ready for a brawl! Charging forward while engulfing his hands in iron, the alien smashed through the skeletons like they were nothing and then started knocking mummies around like rag dolls. But as he glanced back, he saw the mummies pick themselves up, as if they didn't even feel his hits. "Was not expecting that." BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH Ben glanced at himself to see he was back to being human as he cried out. "Or that!" Ben decides to just make a run for it, dodging mummies as he tries to find his way out of the catacombs!
But as the boy kept running and rolling undeath the strikes from the staff hammers, one hand burst out of the ground and grabbed the kid by his ankle! "AHHH!" Ben recovers and tries to pull his leg free, only to cry out as the mummies start piling onto him as the kid struggles to reach for the Omnitrix. "Come on... Go, hero! GO HERO!" He cries out as the mummy pile becomes big. Only for rays of green light to be briefly seen as the pile starts rumbling.
BOOM In an amazing burst of flame and heat, Heatblast blew the mummies off and burned them into dust and ash as he hollered out with his fists thrown apart. "OHHHH, YEAAHHHHHH!" Heatblast grinned as he unleashed flame streams that took out the rest of the mummies. Soon, the catacombs were practically smoking as burnt marks and piles of mummy ash were scattered. "Burn, baby, burn!" Only for the watch to quickly change him back as Ben glanced at it. "Guess that fireworks display drained the watch. Either way, I got to get out of this creepy place." Ben took off towards an exit out of the Catacombs.
After Ben managed to get out of the basement and found another door to the Kitchen, Ben ran up the stairs and arrived he leaned on the counter and pants as he saw, Fluttershy, Cooper, and Amber. But no Matt and Amy. "You are never going to believe what I saw! I saw-" "Monsters!" "Real live monsters!" "And they have taken over this house!" Cooper adds to Fluttershy and Amber's statements. Ben blinks out as he is surprised that they figured it out so quickly. "Right... They got Rarity and the others!" "Oh, no!" Fluttershy gasped out.
"Those things must have been sleeping for a long time and our camping trip must have woken them up! That's what we're trying to tell you when your bus almost ran me and Amber over!" Cooper states as Fluttershy cries out. "We need to do something!" "I'm not leaving my friends behind!" Ben cries out as he storms out of the Kitchen and into the Grand Hallway as the others follow.
"So, what do these things want with us? Why kidnap Sunset and the others?" Fluttershy answers as she puts some thought into the question. "Well... I have watched a few monster movies with Rainbow Dash before. Mostly because she forced me to. So, it's possible they..." But just then, they heard growling and snarling as the 4 looked around and spotted several doors opening at the same time. Out of them came more Skeletons and Mummies, but also Zombies, Imps that had red eyes, purple skin, tails with arrowhead points, claws, and fangs on a beak-like mouth and stood about Ben's chest height.
More ghouls show up as living, haunted chairs that have warped and twisted into looking like monsters with large jaws, flying imps that are and emit flames off their beings, werewolves, and lastly, vampire men that have bat wings on their backs. The 4 humans were shocked and scared as the monster drew closer with hunger in their eyes. "They want us! For dinner and dessert!" Ben hollers as they quickly run up some steps that lead to the 2nd floor.
But as they tried to go through the giant doors on the left side, they were cut off by more monsters. Ben looks around and spots a door that is above the entrance with a gran design around it. "Quick! In there!" They took off as fast as they could as giant Venus fly trap monsters on long stems rose out of the ground and snarled, avoiding a few close calls as they quickly got in the room!
Ben and the teens then slammed the door shut, locked it, and barricaded it with a whole bunch of stuff while they could feel the monsters banging on it, trying to break in as they hoped the door would hold. Just then, the banging stopped as they backed away and took a sigh of relief after a few seconds. "Good... They stopped." Ben mumbles as Fluttershy wipes some sweat off her forehead. "Thank goodness, we can take a breath." "Actually, I don't think so," Cooper states as he explains. "We saw some of those monsters in action before and some of them are smarter than they look. Which means they figured they can't get to us through there."
Amber points out with a worried look. "Which means they'll wait for us to come out or will focus on eating all our friends 1st! After that, they'll leave the woods and start spreading all over the entire state, hunting more human victims!" Ben frowns as he pulls Fluttershy to the side while they notice they are in some sort of master bedroom/quarters with a window that leads out to the front of the house that is shaped like a monster's mouth. "That's it! I'm going XLR8! I'm going out the window, landing on the ground, and going to blitz through those things and this house and save everyone!"
Ben is about to transform, but Fluttershy stops him as she pleads. "Let me come along, too! I know it's scary, but I can't leave my friends in trouble!" "Fluttershy, you and your friend may share some things, just like I share something with Gwen. But none of us share this!" Ben holds up the Omnitrix, showing that's the best guy for the job. Fluttershy realizes that he is right as she speaks to the boy. "Just be careful." The kid nods as he runs and dials the watch as Fluttershy watches with worry.
XLR8 is blasting through the house, speeding through rooms and hall while also taking down any monster in his way with his lightning-fast strikes and claws. XLR8 stops in a Ballroom as he looks around and then speeds off to arrive at a Conservatory. "Girls? Are you in here?" Only for more plant monsters to appear and try to chomp him, but he dodged and cut at the steams and even kicked some of the plants and took them down "Keep your roots to yourselves!" He hissed as he ran outside, arriving at the huge backyard that overlooks a large, foggy lake. After avoiding more zombie arms out of the ground, he dashed past a Boathouse and arrived at a Lighthouse, only to hear ringing as he looked out to the lake.
As the storm continues, the alien keeps looking, only to be surprised when an old-looking, large ship appears out of the fog and docks. "This doesn't look good..." XLR8 mumbles as he quickly zips off to get a better look. He arrived as he gazed up in awe at the huge ship, just for the watch to time him out. Ben then noticed they were hosting the anchor as the kid quickly grabbed on the chain, holding on as hard as he could as he was brought into the boat as it sailed away. The kid lets go and pants as he lay on the floor. "Why do I get the feeling this is going to be a long night?" The kid groans out.
