Chapter 4 U.A and it's many test's
Waking up in a heap as my mother yelled up to my room startling me to no end. I open my crusted over eyes to the window to see it mild sunlight and not that of the time I usually wake up at.
"WAKE UP KATSUKI YOUR GOING TO SCHOOL EARLY!" I heard as I felt like I was going to fall over as I layer back down my bed for a quick second.
'She's still pissed." I think as I didn't want to leave my room because I might die and if I don't leave my room I will die.
'Why did she even wake me up earlier anyways…such a pain" I raise my voice steadily as I raise myself like I'm a zombie as I started to sit up and scoot over tiredly towards the other side of my bed where all my clothes resided.
'Maybe I could get some breakfast outside like how most people at my school did' it sounded appealing especially to my stomach as it growled at the non existent substance inside.
I patted my stomach as I got up from the bed and started to dress myself in my new U.A uniform. I come closer to the mirror to see the small bags in my eyes as I turn to the side to see if a pimple was on my face but there wasn't.
'There's something missing' I thought as I looked around my wardrobe trying to find something as I found what I was looking for. It was a black and white Windbreaker with the interior of the jacket being white and the exterior was black. I saw the hood flap as I grabbed it and I put it on as I looked back at the mirror.
'Looking a bit flashy but other wise it looks ice with the uniform…is this against dress code?' I thought as I felt myself shrink just a bit before sighing and walking away from the mirror.
This was the jacket that Shigaraki bought me when we went to train on the first day.
"All right I should get going or my Mom would be pissed…for some reason? Fuck why did she wake me up early." I walk downstairs now I brought an actual backpack which was one normal one as I was feeling like I had to be holding everything in my hand instead of the bag which is never a good sign.
Upon making it down the stairs I saw nothing but signs of a frantic mother rushing outside.
"Make sure you lock the door Katsuki and take your key with you." Ghat was what she said when she went back outside and I followed behind her.
I felt the cold morning wind hit me and now I was glad that I was wearing the windbreaker. It may be April and all but these days aren't as hot as you think they are so this windbreaker would come in handy especially for the winter.
Checking the time on my phone as it read 6:30am I sigh a bit as I had about what like an hour before I had to actually get on the train to school. Though if I remember there's one in fifteen minutes.
'Aw shit' I ran towards the station not wanting to be left behind.
"Huhauhu" i awkwardly take breathes of the air inside the train as I sat down filled with mostly empty seats as most people's commutes are in like the next hour.
Reaching Musutafa now walking off the train as more people filed out now it being 7am on the dot as I walked the streets as my destination was a coffee shop next to U.A or close to it as I did read that you could go to your home room like an hour earlier so that's good for me I'll get to choose a seat.
Walking towards the shop as I entered I was greeted by the eyes of a night crawler hero or better known as the Erasure hero EraserHead.
"Ahh problem child I didn't expect to see you so early today." I feel visibly and am annoyed at the turn of events.
"Neither did I EraserHead-Sensei but having to wake up earlier then normal sucks…super sucks." I say looking away and yawning to prove a point.
We stood as the line became shorter and shorter until we both made it towards the counter ordering both of our coffee's mine being one I read off the menu while EraserHead-Sensei got a strong black coffee.
"You must really need that coffee Eraser-Sensei." I say taking a straw and mixing the different flavors together to a blend as we walked out of the store together.
"I'm your teacher now so you don't have to call me by my hero name. Aizawa-Sensei is just fine and yea you could say I like coffee." He said taking a sip of it and flinching a bit.
"Well Aizawa-Sensei I'll see you in class." I say as we make it to the main gate of U.A.
'I.D here it is' I swipe my I.D on the scanner at the entrance as it opened up showing Present Mic standing there with a thumbs up on his fingers and a smile.
"Hey little listener it's nice seeing you in that uniform." He said patting me on the back as I continued my walk just waving at him.
I pull out my earbuds and head to my classroom…where ever that is…
7.25am yes the time about when a person who wants to go to school early would go but no not Katsuki Bakugo he gets to go at 6:30! I wanted to bash my head on the bench I was sitting on. While currently in the cafeteria for breakfast which a serving came free and more servings came with more money and money I didn't think you needed but I was wrong though right now I'm glad I still have the money my Mom gave me 2 months ago or something.
I felt kinda strange I don't know not knowing anyone or not even having a familiar layout other than a couple of scenes from the anime is all I know I didn't think U.A would be so huge indeed I've been walking for a couple minutes before reaching the cafeteria and it showing where the classes where. Class 1-A not being a exception.
Sitting with the tray of a assortment of foods I had no idea what they where I just picked them because they looked good. On that note I don't know how I know Japanese even though I never studied in it. I swear to Kami if this guy that sent me here is so strong I can't even punch his shit then I'd be pissed off.
Sipping on my newly brewed coffee due to Lunch Rush having the things necessary to make more of the thing I had honestly it tasted alright.
Eating at a moderate pace until it was 7:45 I got up eating and stuffing everything down I went to go out my tray back but I bumped into someone as we both almost tripped but we managed to catch ourselves. Not that are tray's where lucky.
I look to the guy to see a messy indigo colored boy about his looks suggest 17 with a somewhat duck butt hair at the end. My eyes widen a bit as I saw his eyes as they looked a bit scared but also looked intense.
I breathed in slowly and bowed. "Sorry for that Sempai I didn't mean to hit you." I say as the boy known to me as Tamaki Amajiki.
"Heheh it-it was my fault there's no need." He stuttered waving his hand in front of him embarrassed.
"Oh right hey do you know where the 1-A class is here." I rubbed the back of my head sheepishly.
"Oh umm it should be-" he was cut off by a voice in the distance.
"Hey Amajiki is there something wrong, you just dropped your tray," A feminine voice said as Amajiki turned back and shook his head.
"Here let me take you there…it would be better we're gathering more attention here." Amajiki said as I could see him shaking from the nervousness of the entire cafeteria audience staring at them.
'Is he using me as an escape goat?' I though as he dragged me away with a tug as he lets go and I follow him as we turn into a hallway.
"Hey Mirio do you know who that guy was?" I blue haired girl said as she looked where the two where going as the blond boy names Mirio smiled.
"It seems Amijiki's making some friends it's a Miracle!" He said with a giant grin on his face as the blue haired girl smiled too.
"Yea we won't be able to there for him all the time." Nejire said with a smile.
"So the years are separated by floors…cool and most classes are in your home room instead of moving to another class…" I said as I was walking behind Amajiki as he was silent for the most part trying to disappear from the face of the earth entirely.
"Hey Sempai what's your name I haven't told you mine yet but mine is Katsuki Bakugo and it's nice to meet you." I say as he looked at me as I tilt my head trying to make an okay impression with a soft smile appearing on my face that slightly eased the indigo haired boy's nerves.
"M-my name's T-Tamaki A-Amajiki" he said as he still stuttered having himself shake somewhat even I saw his hands which were tucked in his pants pockets.
Silence is what came as the giant hallways where in weren't helping as every noise was echoing as I just walked with Amajiki before I started to try to think of something to talk about.
"Hey are you in the hero program." I ask looking at him and he nods silently looking at me.
"Yea I'm in 3-A actually." He said as he lifted his finger to the ceiling in a specific spot to point towards the classroom.
"Yea this place is really giant…how could they afford any of these things." I say looking out of the window at the outside seeing a couple of people going through the gates as some of the people in my class were coming in as well as others from different courses.
"Hey…why did you come so early anyways I don't really see any first years get here this early to school and I know some pretty happy people wanting to be heroes." He said as I could see him thinking of Mirio.
"Well my Mom kicked me out actually and I had some time to kill so I went to the coffee shop and then I got here…why are you so early anyways." I say to him as he looks towards the ceiling trying to think of a way to respond.
"Umm…it has something to do with my quirk." I nod carelessly as I look at the door next to us saying 1-A as it looked for giants.
"Here's your stop" Amijiki said as he was turning away from me ready to leave the area as fast as he could.
"Thanks Amijiki I appreciate and I'll see you later." I wave goodbye at him and his eyes widen and he let out a small smile and waved back before turning again and leaving.
I turn the door knob and walk inside to the empty room as I take a quick look and see Aizawa-Sensei on the floor with his sleeping bag on the floor cracking an eye open to stare at me and I have an amused smile and walked to the same desk Bakugo had in the original and I sat down.
I grab my phone and set my bag down as I turn on my earbuds and put the hood on to comfort me as I lay on my desk trying to fall asleep.
Falling into a state of not caring I felt the door open and someone walk in sitting on one of the chair's as many more sit down as well and that was right before I was yelled at. Or what seemed like it as I still had my earbuds on.
I peek up from the pocket I made and see the same blue haired guy from the writing exam talking to me.
Taking one of the earbuds out and stopping the music I turn my attention to him.
"Hello there my name is Iida Tenya and you are the boy that was asleep at the test and your sleeping here again do you really not care for being here!?" He asked rather harshly thought I didn't respond as our attention was off onto the door which stood Midoriya and Uraraka talking.
Iida walked up to them and I went back into my pocket.
"It took you 8 seconds to quiet down that not do with that time someone could die everyone get in your seats." I heard Aizawa-Sensei say as I look upwards towards him as he was behind the little podium checking things on a sheet of paper probably people's attendance before swiping on it that made me confused and when it was revealed to be a tablet. 'Makes more sense.'
"I'm your teacher and you can call Aizawa-Sensei it's what I prefer."
"Everyone get changed into Your Gym Uniform and meet me at the training field just outside." Aizawa-Sensei said as he was moving to the door until a hand in the air stopped him.
"Umm Aizawa-Sensei aren't we missing the orientation." Asked a girl with a ponytail.
"No the assembly is just a waste of time." He said as he walked outside.
It shocked the students who just sat there pondering who was going to break the silence and get up. I did as I got up from my seat and grabbed my bag heading towards to the locker room indicated by the little map in the corner of the doorway.
Getting to the field first now clad in the winter turtle neck gym uniform as Aizawa-Sensei looked at me strangely.
"Sweating powers my quirk the hotter I am the more I sweat and the more bigger explosions." I say as I look to him and he finally nods in under standing.
"Hey question is this the one I got specialized to me Sensei." I said taking a look at the uniform. I mean there was a specific name tag on one of the lockers for me but maybe they didn't? Huh I need to calm down.
"Yea I remember Power Loader very intrigued by your quirk." I nod at Aizawa-Sensei as some more people that I took no attention to came onto the field as no one dared said a word.
"Alright you took your time, we'll except Bakugo." He said as I involve cringe at him mentioning my name as more people took notice of me unconsciously now.
"What where going to do is a quirk apprehension test and if you don't know what that is it's just physical test but you use your quirks to see how powerful, how they can be applied…your quirks that is." He said grabbing at the bag he had with him he grabbed a small softball and threw it in the air wanting someone to catch it.
'I don't want to go first…' I say looking away as the ball was clearly going for me but Uraraka caught the ball.
"Softball throw, don't leave the circle and your free to use your quirk." He said eyeing me up and down wondering if I was feeling alright.
'Hey sometimes I get anxious okay and I don't know any of these people…I'm still getting used to living here with a couple of anime characters alright!'
"Okay." The cheerful girl said as she jogged towards the circle.
I saw that she thought of something then touched the ball before throwing it making it weightless as it soaked in the sky not stopping though quite slowly.
After a good moment Aizawa-Sensei turned the phone in our direction shocking most of the students except for me knowing the conclusion in the episode. Still pretty cool.
"Wow this is going to be so fun using our quirks." A pink haired girl and overall she was just pink as she rested her back against her arms holding her head up as she talking sparked up a number of small conversations among the shy teens.
"Is that all…is this Fun to you." Aizawa-Sensei said as he looked dead set on the girl as she flinched back now not having the smile on her face and a matter of fact most people flinched and all of them lost there smiles.
"Is people dying and natural disasters fun to you." He looked at her with a glare that made her shiver like he was going to chop her into little pieces.
"You're here to become heroes not play around, The person in last place will be expelled." He said quite heavily as he turned away heading towards the 50-Meter-Dash section as the quiet students followed me being near the back to avoid some of the extra attention.
I used to like having all the attention on me when I was a kid but now it was kinda annoying when people talk about you but I also know that if I'm trying to be a hero that's going to happen anyway. But I just like the silence but I also like having friends so it's a weird thing.
Having a 50M dash as most people from what I can imagine got the same scores as I was sent up next to Midoriya who looked a bit unsure with me next to him but I just ignore him as I tested out a small explosion in my hand.
'I seem to be able to make bigger explosions and also have more stamina as a whole…why I didn't train my quirk for these 2 months but it's more powerful than before' I thought as I remember the week after the entrance exam.
'Tch not bad…not bad at all' I remembered the words of the mirror me…was that the real original bakugo that combined with me like giving me his strength…I mean I do remember being able to keep up with Shigaraki in a fist fight and have more strength, speed and stamina. Even when I was tired I still gave Aizawa-Sensei some trouble trying to capture me without even using my quirk…not like I could but still!
He must have combined or let me use the full extent of both our combined power.
I smile as I got into a crouching position and loaded an explosion into my hands holding them to build up there power.
I saw a wide open eyeing from Midoriya and a rather intrigued look from most of the students as the robot shouted "Start!" I blasted off the floor with a "Boom!" As the explosion carried me very vastly past the finishing line at "1.3 Seconds!" It said surprising most if not all at the speeds i was at as I tried to stop myself and ignored the other shout of Midoriya's score.
I landed with a couple more explosions to try and equal me out and flipped in the air to steady me out.
Walking casually back towards the group I had a small smile on my face that stayed plastered on my face as I tried not to make it show as arrogance.
Again many more of the routine test happened like the Grip strength test that I did pretty good at getting a 85Kg from just raw strength that shocked me. Then there was the standing long jump which I just flew over with explosions and the Repeated side steps that I had where only slightly above average.
Now it was the ball throw again and this time it seemed like Aizawa-Sensei wanted me to go first this time.
He threw the ball ti me and I caught it and walked towards the circle as I heard a couple of things said from the others before reaching the circle.
"This guy's been almost killing every test he has such a cool and flashy quirk!" A happy voice said as another responded.
"Yea but the guy seems kinda unapproachable doesn't he?" A voice said that made me do a double take for as second but I just continued going on ignoring the rest of the comments.
Standing in the middle of the circle as I held a concentrated explosion in my right hand as I placed the ball on it as i reeled back my hand and unloaded me and my quirk towards a hood angle shooting it like a beam encasing the ball as it travelled far until it exploded sending the ball flying even more making even some rings in its wake.
I turned towards Aizawa-Sensei who's grip on his phone was tighter than I thought as a small smile was on his face as he turned the phone to show the class my score as I walked back to the class to see them myself shocked with the result that it really went 2,095 Meters.
"Wow hero like scores…" Uraraka said as she had her own eyes wide open but the boy next to her was awestruck but felt a sudden pain in his chest.
'How is Kaachan so…amazing…he's always so ahead of me…could I even make it to his level and I'm supposed to surpass it." Midoriya felt the small pit in his chest grow just a bit as he gripped his tracksuit a bit more strength at seeing the score he got.
"Midoriya it's your turn…Midoriya." Aizawa-Sensei called out to Midoriya who was knocked out of his trance and put on what seemed to be a mask to his emotions showing a fake one of determination but I could see a bit of actual determination in it.
He walked up to the circle having the ball in hand as I saw him close his eyes as he opened them and looked rather steadily as I saw small little veins of red start to go over his arm as he was about to throw the ball but nothing with his quirk activated.
Midoriya reacted nervously looking at his hand and then back at the teacher who had his eyes red as he looked as Midoriya having the scarf he was wearing and his hair fly open.
"Midoriya where you planning to use your quirk and incapacitate yourself." Midoriya froze as he looked on at Aizawa-Sensei sending his wrath on him as he wrapped Midoriya quickly in his scarf.
"Hear me Midoriya I would have immediately expelled you once you entered the classroom but with some…talking I'm giving you a chance to prove yourself…if you incapacitate yourself Midoriya then don't expect any mercy from me." Midoriya looked like the soul was taken out of his body as he walked towards the circle with the ball he collected as he looked hallow like at the ball before gritting his teeth trying to squish the ball but not having any luck.
Midoriya reeled his hand back gritting his teeth as he activated his quirk on the last thing to touch the ball his ring finger.
"SMAAASH!" He yelled out making a small winds blow as the ball went flying.
Aizawa-Sensei smiled at the kid now looking at the only injured finger.
He showed the phone screen to show 705.3 Meters as he walked back to Uraraka and Iida as they asked him if he was well but not before he looked towards me with a…smug look?
'What the bell' i reeled back as Midoriya had a smug smirk on his face as he looked at his finger and Uraraka and Iida asking if he were okay.
'Alright…' I look away back to Aizawa-Sensei who leads us away after the last person finished throwing the softball.
With the remaining test being sit ups, seated toe touches we moved to the last event which was the Distance run.
There was a small track field on the fort that made a large circle as Aizawa stood in the distance looking at us.
"Move at your fastest speed for as long as you can remember though this test if for endurance not strength so keep moving and if your able to keep going until lunch then I'll have to forcible end it." He said as he looked at the time seeing there was one hour until lunch as he blew a whistle and they where off to the races.
Running past everyone with physical prowess I didn't think I noticed before I passed even Yaoyorozu who was on a bicycle as I kept my running.
I felt the air in my lungs as I kept breathing in a particular way Shigaraki had taught me that increased my concentration and overall ability increase as I went for about 00 minutes at full speed until having to use my explosions to move but that with using progressively smaller explosions to keep myself moving as I flew in the air I finally stopped at the 47 minute mark after having exhausting my body with the runnin and now my quirk plus all the test's before.
The hour ended with the hour almost ended as Yaoyorozu left from her bike and walked to the rest of the class.
"Here are your rankings." Aizawa-Sensei said simply as he lifted the screen to the air as the popped up on the air like a projector showing all the people rankings.

"Oh and by the way I wasn't going to actually expel you it was just a logical ruse to get you all to do your best." He said with a weird smile showing the detail of all his teeth.
A very big weight was lifted when he said that as everyone started to talk freely.
"Oh my I so thought he would expel someone."
"No kidding!"
"To make us do our best"
"Did you all really think he would expel someone I must have not been the only one to know he was lying." Yaoyorozu said as she swiped her bangs away from her face.
"Yea I thought it was pretty obvious." Said Shoji making a mouth with a hand.
"Stop" I said as everyone looked at me even Aizawa-Sensei.
"Stop assuming things you don't know." I said as I look over to Aizawa-Sensei.
"Are we dismissed yet." I asked and he looked at the time on the tablet he had and nodded his head and I walked back to the locker room hopefully being able to change fast as I felt everyone's eyes on me but I continued walking.
"What the problem Child said assuming and thinking you know everything of an enemy will do can be detrimental to you but knowing may be the difference between seeing your parents grave or them yours." Aizawa said moving away from the students as most people were spooked knowing that they could be expelled for anything but the most spooked was Yaoyorozu herself.
"Try to keep an open mind life is usually better with one." Aizawa said as he finally left the area turning a corner and seeing a giant figure in a yellow suit with blond hair like a rabbit.
"All Might what are you doing here." Aizawa asked as he looked at All Might.
"Well I just wanted to see a my new students." He said but Aizawa didn't believe him.
"You…have a favorite already..Is it Bakugo? I mean you did save him from death so you could just be watching over him but I feel like your not the type of person who would creep so it has to be someone else." Aizawa narrowed down as All Might gaped at him.
"No it's not that plus we're you really planning to expel last place?!" He asked as he looked especially concerned.
"What I'll expel anyone that doesn't have potential luckily they all have potential…there's nothing more cruel than giving some a false hope." Aizawa said walking away as he heard one more thing from All Might.
"We aren't alike at all huh EraserHead."
