Author's note: For this script, I am giving a trigger warning for the thing that Twoey's attack on Audrey was obviously a metaphor for. It won't be shown 'on-screen,' though, it'll just be heavily implied, like it was in the movie/play (moreso the movie but still). If you can handle watching the Suppertime Reprise in the movie, reading this script shouldn't be an issue.
Character Guide:
Audrey: Squirrelflight
Twoey: Ashfur
Squirrelflight realizes in a dream that 'Bramblestar' is alive again and finds him in the waking world. She suspects that something is off with him, but doesn't realize that he has been possessed by Ashfur. Ashfur then proceeds to attempt to get some 'water' from her. This script is in the same AU as my Ashfur x Hawkfrost Feed Me (Git It!) one, don't think too hard about the implications of the voices being switched around. If you're too young to be reading this, please be so kind as to imagine me disapprovingly wagging a finger at you before doing so (this is a joke, please don't read this unless you're old enough to be reading T-rated materials. Or unless your parents say it's okay I guess.)
Part 1
(0:00-0:11)
(phone ring)
Squirrelflight is in a forest where the ground and densely-packed trees and other plants are made of white, fluffy clouds. The dense patches of flowers on the ground and clusters of leaves on the trees indicate that it is spring. Squirrelflight happily and determinedly stalks a mouse, which, unaware of her presence, nibbles on a still attached cloud-bud on a flower. She is just about to pounce on it when the phone sound effect plays, and she and the mouse both look up, with the mouse looking much more alarmed than her.
Part 2
Hello?
Hey little lady, hello
Who…Who is this?
The mouse runs off, and Squirrelflight, not noticing this, starts easily climbing the tree that she looked up into. She reaches a low-hanging branch and looks around confusedly, retaining her good mood, and the clouds start very slowly darkening at Ashfur's line. Squirrelflight jumps up to a branch above her so that now only her paws are visible, sending leaves scattering to the ground erratically.
Part 3
You're lookin' cute as can be
Is this someone I know?
You're lookin' mighty sweet
Seymour!
The camera pans upwards to reveal that she has found a thick dark brown tail descending from a branch a little bit above her head. The rest of the cat is almost entirely obscured by a thick cluster of leaves and brambles, illogically connected to the branch and not the trunk. The tail caresses her cheek, and she backs away from it hesitantly, confused. Squirrelflight accidentally backs into the trunk and quickly does a 180 turn with her fur bristled up, startled, and the cat, Ashfur, clumsily jumps down onto her branch and flirtily sings his second line. Squirrelflight is comforted by this, thinking that she's speaking to Leafpool, and she turns around. This part ends before she sees Ashfur, and the clouds continue to slowly darken during it.
Part 4
No, it ain't Seymour. It's me!
Oh my god...
Squirrelflight is shocked to see Ashfur, who flirtily steps towards her, slowly waving his tail back and forth. She immediately steps backwards in response, and he ignores this and attempts to place a front paw on hers. Right before he makes contact, she extends her claws, causing the branch below her to shoot out a lightning bolt. The clouds slowly darken during this part.
Part 5
(0:40-0:49)
(instrumentals)
Squirrelflight wakes up immediately afterwards in the leader's den, breathing heavily. She stares forward with a look of disbelief and fear for a few seconds, raking her front claws against the floor of the den, before shaking her head slightly, putting an enthusiastic look on her face, and standing up and quickly exiting the leader's den with a slight spring in her step.
Part 6
(0:50-0:59)
(instrumentals)
Squirrelflight slowly moves through Thunderclan camp towards the entrance, peering around in the rain. When she is a few feet away from the entrance, Ashfur briefly becomes visible in a shadow as lightning flashes, smiling at her in an almost sneering way, and she immediately stops in her tracks and looks into the shadow with awe and a slight amount of fear. He is still covered in snow.
Part 7
I don't believe it.
Believe it, baby. It talks
Am I dreaming this?
No, and you ain't in Kansas neither!
Squirrelflight hesitantly makes a small step towards the shadow, immediately stopping as Ashfur dramatically jumps out of it and onto the roof of a den, blocking out the moon, which is in the only part of the sky not covered by thunderclouds, and casting her in a shadow. Squirrelflight again hesitantly makes a small step towards the den at her second line, immediately stopping and wincing in fear as he jumps over her and lands on her side that's not facing the den, barely avoiding knocking her over out of clumsiness. Squirrelflight whips around to face him, and he grins at her with a slight amount of malice, proudly sitting down facing away from her and licking the claws on a front paw. The snow covering him mostly comes off the first time he jumps and is entirely gone the second time.
Part 8
Something's very wrong here.
I need me some water in the worst way.
Look at my branches.
I'm drying up. I'm a goner, honey!
Squirrelflight forces herself to sit pressed up against Ashfur's side, looking up at him as if asking for an explanation. He grins at her hungrily, wrapping his tail around her possessively and covering her mouth in the process, and 'weakly' extends the arm that he was licking forward, extending and splaying his claws further before briefly looking towards the sky exasperatedly and then looking down at her expectantly. Squirrelflight's eyes widen as she understands what he is 'asking' for.
Part 9
Come on and give me a drink
I…I don't know if I should!
Hey, little lady, be nice
Do you talk to Seymour like this?
Squirrelflight struggles slightly before leaping out of his grasp and standing a few feet closer to the leader's den than she was before, and he stays slightly behind her and pressed up against her side as he follows her, leaning over her. She attempts to put some distance between them by placing her tail, bristling with stress, between them, and he moves it away with his front claws before seductively running them down her side, accidentally drawing a small amount of blood after a few seconds out of clumsiness. Squirrelflight winces as this happens and moves away from him slightly, not maintaining the distance for long as he immediately closes it.
Part 10
Sure do, I'll drink it straight
Your leaves are dry, poor thing
Don't need no glass or no ice
I…I'll get the can.
Squirrelflight tries to duck into a den and is stopped by Ashfur not so subtly blocking her path. He flirtily gestures towards the leader's den with his head, and Squirrelflight sympathetically and fearfully runs a front paw with sheathed claws over one of his arms. Ashfur, clearly deriving pleasure from this, slowly moves his tail along her neck in a snake-like motion, causing her to unsheathe her claws alarmedly, and she dips her head before starting to slowly and hesitantly head towards the leader's den. He clumsily and slightly jumps upwards enthusiastically before following her.
Part 11
Don't need no twist of lime
Here we go!
And now it's suppertime!
Ashfur quickly overtakes her, quickly herding her towards the leader's den by holding his tail across her neck. Squirrelflight says her line, looking fearfully up at him, before attempting to shove her fear down and be enthusiastic instead as she heads into the den, the vines covering the entrance settling afterwards. Ashfur immediately perks up at this, smiling/snarling and lashing his tail back and forth as he says his second line, and heads into the den afterwards. The audience can no longer see what is happening after this, only the outside of the den.
Part 12
(1:52-2:03)
Oh, relax doll, it'll be easy.
The audience can still only see the outside of the den. A mouse comes onto screen from the right side, hesitatingly and haltingly heading towards a flower at the side of the entrance to the leader's den and starting to eat a bud on it. The mouse, hearing what is going on inside the den, stops eating the bud after a few seconds, presses itself to the ground in fear for a few seconds, and quickly scampers off the left side of the screen.
