Damn...I thought he was going to kiss me...why did I lean in then!?
Jacklynn thought ...and now what did she do? She mustl look like a fool to him now. She let her eyes flutter open, a blush heating her cheeks. The view that greeted her was Zim, smiling. His hand still carressing her cheek, those ice blue eyes searching hers...his angled brows rose a little.
"Jack Lynn esh Inkimpa?" (Jacklynn is ok?) Did his voice drop a few octaves? How did he even manage to make a whisper sound like that? From this close she could smell him...faded coolwater and something akin to palo santo... floral, but masculine he smelled good. A shiver rose up her spine, ans Zim's smile turned to a deviously smug smirk. He knew what he was doing...Oh he was bad.
"I.. I'm okay.."
"Mi esh Inkimpa Zim." (I am ok Zim) He whispered again...She shivered again.
She swallowed.
"Mi esh inkimpa Zim." She repeated. He purred.
"Good..." He leaned forward and placed a soft kiss firmly to her forehead...Oh she was done for.
"Zeet Irette...Ult zeet irette." ( Good girl...very good girl.) She shivered...Yeah...she was done for.
Her blush at full force, Jacklynn had to fight her eyes from drooping. Did she have a praise kink unlocked just now? If the moisture between her legs told her anything, she did believe that was an affirmative. She heard someone make a goofy little laugh in the back of their throat...she chose to believe that it did not come from her...but she knew she was lying to herself.
Zim delicatly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear...yep, more shivers...god her mouth was dry...He cocked his head slighty to the side, his eyes breaking from hers to watch his fingers preform their action. He slid them along her jugular, taking another strand of hair and toying with it in his hand before slowly pulling back.
"Jack Lynn make Irkis sound...pretty."
Theres that dumb laugh again...what was he doing to her... Suddenly she realized that her hands were very un busy. She nervously fiddled with the dishwasher, opening it to realize that she'd already unloaded it, and she'd opened it unneccessrilly.
" Uh...umm..Th-thanks Zim...Th-thank you for teaching me." She stuttered. Why were her legs so wobbly? Zim chuckled.
"Any time Jack Lynn."
" I uh..I have to...y'know...finish cleaning up...Um, M-Mr. B will be back soon...Shit, Mr. B will be back soon..." She suddenly snapped to and hurried about getting the apartment straightened. Zim became alert as well.
"What do?"
"Would you gather the hair stuff for me? and throw the pillows on the couch? Im going to put the kid's laundry in the machine."
Zim did as he was told, putting the hair implements into their little caddy. He even returned it to the closet Jacklynn had taken it out of, and arranged the pillows, fluffed and karate chopped in the center, then one on top of the other on either side of the couch. Jacklynn was impressed at that.
By the time she had switched the laundry, folded the dry laundry, and cleaned up the bathroom, Zim was wiping down the counters while she straightened up the table when Mr B was unlocking the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~Zim
Oh that had gone well. Very well. Zim was quite pleased with himself. All of the signs of the beginnings of human arousal could be seen in Jack Lynn...Her shivers, the change in her breathing pattern, her heart rate increasing, her obedience...yes...and then her scent had shifted, gotten more intense...and musky. Especially when he called her a good female...she really liked that... he'd have to find out more about why.
He wasn't sure...but he felt odd himself...Had Jack Lynn effected him as well? That new scent of hers...he liked it...it made something...stir in him.
He was a bit concerned at why this "Mr B" had made her become so alert... anxious even. He supposed he'd have his answers soon enough. He saw Jack Lynn become suddenly more alert and a few short seconds later, her head turned to the enterance before he even heard keys jangling at the lock.
A tall older male came in, a smile on his face upon seeing Jack Lynn. Zim noticed her own smile looked quite forced.
"Hello Mr B, how was work?"
"Stiff. I'm much happier coming home. How were the kids?" Jack Lynn dodged his hand as he reached out to touch her...why did he do that?
"Oh...the kids were good...school went well and they went to bed early. I uh...I made eggplant parm for dinner. Yours is in the microwave now. The shopping is done, but Mr. B, I couldn't get your beer...I keep telling you, they won't let me buy it, I'm only 17."
He chuckled as he put down his things and sat at the table.
"You keep telling me that, and I seem to keep forgetting...you seem so much older...plus, aren't you legally an adult? Being emancipated and all?"
"Heh...yes, but that's not quite how that works Mr. B... I'm still a minor."
"Eh don't label yourself Jackie..I- who's this?"
He finally noticed Zim. Jack Lynn turned and smiled as she retrieved the mans plate from the heating device.
"Oh, this is my friend Zim. He's the one I got your permission to have over. Mrs B knows he's here too."
"Oh...I was under the impression that he would have left. Anyway...uh...Nice to meet you Zam."
Zim glared...this male was no good.
"It is Zim."
The man nodded, not paying attention. He smiled at Jack Lynn as she took him his food. He took a bite and smacked the table.
"Mmm! Damn you're a good cook Jackie, much better than the ole ball n chain! Good girl!"
Zim grit his teeth...with hiw Jack Lynn had reacted to zim saying that, he had decided just now that only he could say that to her. His eyes darted to Jack Lynn to gauge her response...she ...cringed? Good. That was good.
"Eh...thanks Mr. B. Well, if that's all Zim and I should be-"
"Oh, taking off on me? You won't join me for some wine?"
"Mr B, I really can't I-"
"Oh, one glass won't hurt."
"She said no."
The man shot a look at Zim before acting like he hadn't heard.
"Well if you really can't, would you grab my briefcase for me? I have something for you."
Jack lynn nodded and grabbed his container. He opened it up and passed her an envelope.
"A little bonus for you. I closed the deal on a very good account today. Wanted to share the wealth...buy yourself a pretty dress for homecoming sweetheart."
She offered an uneasy smile and nodded.
" Thank you Mr B. I really do appreciate it. Zim and I have to get going now though. Give Mrs.B my love. "
Zim grabbed Jack Lynns backpack, and the groceries she had bought for herself but borrowed their fridge to keep them in until her departure. He hearded her to the door, opening it so she could walk out before him. He shot the male a look and stormed out behind her.
~~~~~~~~~~Jacklynn
She was shaking...When Zim opened the door, she shot down the hallway, stopping in the stairwell to brace herself against the rail.
Her nerves were shot. Usually she could deal with his advances...but after the emotional rollercoaster she'd had in the past 24 hrs...not so much.
She worked to steady her breath, and tried to control her shaking. She was having a mild panic attack...she just had to breathe through it.
She could hear Zim's boots coming down the hallway. Steady, with purpose...before she knew it, he was on her.
"Jack Lynn haet ehz tak?! What was that? That...dirt human, he...Jack Lynn?" Zim's voice growled out...He even started in Irkis...he must be mad.
Jacklynn panicked...she did not want to break down in front of Zim. Why had she said he could be there? It was her fault that he had to see that. She had hoped that Mr.B would have backed off knowing they weren't alone...An errant sob broke free of her throat and she choked the rest back by gritting her teeth.
"Im... I'm sorry Zim I-"
He growled!? Jacklynn was suddenly soun around, Zim having grabbed her firmly but gently by the shoulders. His hands stayed planted there as he searched her eyes. His own eyes were intense.
" Nye...No Jack Lynn...you do no wrong. You care for his young all night. He treat you bad. His born-first is but four years younger than Jack Lynn...He is... predator."
Jacklynns control broke. She nodded, the tears bursting loose. She couldn't do this. Not now, not here in the stairwell...she pressed her palms into her eyes and took a deep shuddering breath. She could feel how badly she was shaking. In the nose...ugh nose is clogged...in the mouth then...out the mouth...in...out...iiiiiiin...oooooout...
Zim soothingly rubbed his hands up and down her shoulders.
"Tu esh inkimpa, Tu esh inkimpa..Zim is here. No worry Jack Lynn...I will protect."
Jacklynn just kept nodding, the action helping her shake out of it, Zims voice helping to ground her.
"Thank you Zim... I'm glad you're here with me right now."
"Zim is too...Jack Lynn...serious now...You never go back." Jacklynn panicked a bit at that...the B's were how she made most of her money. Zim looked stern, his arm held back with his finger pointing threateningly towards where they had just left.
"Zim... it's not that simple, I-"
" Is that simple. Jack Lynn...we do the talk at your apartment."
She nodded...noting the improvement he was making as well.
"I-Inkimpa." She squeaked. Zim offered her a smile that didn't reach his angey eyes.
"Lead Zim Jack Lynn."
With a sniffel, she nodded, wiping her eyes on her sleeve. She started down the stairs to her level. Zim following at her side.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~Zim
Oh he was pissed. Things were going well up until that Dirt-Stink did this to Jack Lynn...Irkens didn't display emotion very often...part of the reason that Zim was considered a defective. His emotions weren't entirely surpressed like most Irkens... something in his bio make-up didn't allow the genetic altering to surpress those brain signals.
Oh he knew Jack Lynn was having a panic attack...and he understood why. He knew enough about humans most creatures despite whatever planet even...considered it wrong for a matured individual to seek an immature individual as a mate...Jack Lynn was physically mature, even mentally...but her age made her still too young...at least for a male that much older than her...His own offspring were closer in age to Jack Lynn than he was.
Not to mention, the male already had a mate! And they had reproduced! Every culture in which Zim had seen, infidelity, especially with offspring in the mix was wrong. Zim saw more than enough to know that Jack Lynn cared for their young as if they were her blood...She had a very good maternal instinct...He understood that meant she felt protective of them...loved them even. She cared for them, taught them, fed them, bathed them, groomed them...He figured with how she blamed herself just a bit ago, she would most likely feel like she betrayed them if she outed their sire.
He followed her to her door, where she fumbled with her keys to unlock it. The door creaked open, and Zim winced when she turned on the light. Jacklynn laughed humorlessly and collapsed onto her couch, head in her hands.
Zim looked around, finding a tiny refrigeration unit, he put her cold items away. He had worried about if there would be room in the thing...but aside from some vaccume sealed bags, it was empty. He looked around, noting there were only two doors. The enterance, and the other he could see the toilet through the cracked door... obviously the bathroom...the rest? All one room...one tiny room. Just big enough for some shelves, a couch, minimal floor space, a dresser, and a large trunk by the couch. Along the back wall behind the couch was a rack of clothes...this was...sad. And to make it worse...she had a massive hole in her wall...one of the electric connectors from his base being the culprit. It had planted itself dead center into her floor.
Zim knelt down to inspect the thing...there was a track of black hair pinned to the floor by it. Zim noted that there were blankets and pillows on the floor ...Had Jack lynn been sleeping here!? On the floor!?. He pulled the hair its full length...not even six inches...She had been that close to having her skull crushed...Zims face hardened...He had to be more careful. He stood up and straightened himself.
"Jack Lynn."
"...yeah Zim...?" She said emotionlessly, slumped all the way back on her couch, arms folded over her eyes.
"We pack your things now. You will stay with Zim. This..." He gestured everywhere..." esh neht Inkimpa." (is not ok)
"...what?..."
"You heard Zim. Jack lynn, you are to stay with me. No question."
Jack lynn looked shocked...Zim just tossed her a suitcase he found on top of her clothes rack.
"Get necessities for some days. We will get the rest later."
Jack Lynn nodded and got up to get to work.
