Chapter Twenty-Two: Wilder
Alessia grumbled as they dismounted their horses. Staggering a little since the dress was restricting her movements.
"You'd think they would allow Accepted to wear a more fitting clothes when going on missions?" Alessia asked as Tarna chuckled. Alessia scanned the area and crossed her arms. She hated wearing dresses but if she were to become an Aes Sedai, she was going to do it. She felt a hand touch her lower back as she turned and smiled. Liandrin kissed her forehead before taking the lead.
"We need to ask the locals if they have seen her." The older woman spoke as they nodded. She tied the horses to the post before following in silence. She looked around while putting her hands behind her back. She had to keep reminding herself to follow orders. Hearing soft chattering as she looked around. People were giving them looks. She didn't like it.
"Alessia, check the markets. Ask around. Be quick." Liandrin spoke as she nodded. Taking her leave and walking over to the markets. Some people closed up their shops and left. She frowned at this.
"Excuse me sir, have you seen or heard about a young girl causing some trouble?" Alessia asked a man who waved her off and left. She tried her luck with a lady who also waved her off. She sighed and rubbed her temples before looking around again. There was no one else on the markets. She decided to go back to the other two reds and waited.
"Anything?" Tarna asked as Alessia shook her head and frowned. Liandrin came from the tavern and crossed her arms. Alessia reached out to her by her emotion. The blue eyes caught her own and smiled. Gently squeezing her shoulder.
"We'll find her." Alessia spoke. "I'll try the village center?" Alessia asked as Liandrin nodded. She turned her heels and left. Walking down the muddy road while looking around. She could see the people whispering while looking in her direction.
"Are you an Aes Sedai?" A little girl asked as Alessia looked down and smiled. Getting onto one knee to meet her eyes level.
"No. But I am training and learning to be one." Alessia smiled while putting stray hair behind the girl's ear.
"What is it that you do?" The girl asked.
"Well, we protect those who cannot protect themselves." Alessia spoke as the girl's eyes went wide.
"I want to be one! But everyone is scared of them here. Especially that girl." The young girl spoke as Alessia raised a brow.
"What girl?" Alessia asked. Hoping she knew something.
"There was an older girl who could make lights from her body and they chased her out of the village. She's been in the woods ever since." The girl spoke.
"My dear, you just saved that girl's life." Alessia smiled and patted her head. She turned her heels and ran back to the horses. Seeing Tarna and Liandrin looking at a map.
"I got a lead." Alessia spoke quickly.
"Where?" Liandrin asked.
"The forest right outside. A little girl told me they kicked out an older girl for making lights from her body." Alessia explained as they mounted their horses.
"Sounds promising." Tarna spoke as they nodded and left the village.
They rode out the edge of the forest. It did not take long to locate her due to a loud scream. Dismounting, Alessia followed Tarna and Liandrin towards the scream. Feeling her dress get caught and ripped by her leg. Sighing with frustration as she fell behind. She could still see them up ahead. She managed to catch up as saw a girl a few years younger than herself.
"Stay away!" The girl shouted. She was scared. "I don't want to hurt you!" She shouted as Liandrin made a move. There was a small explosion as Alessia quickly moved behind Liandrin to catch her from hitting the floor. Seeing the woman nod her thanks as they stood back up.
"Hey!" Alessia spoke as the girl stopped and looked at her.
"I can't go back! They'll kill me!" The girl shouted. Alessia raised her hands up and slowly walked to her.
"You don't have to. You can come with us." Alessia spoke calmly.
"Alessia!" Liandrin spoke.
"Trust me." Alessia spoke as her lover nodded her head. She turned to face the girl again.
"And do what?" The girl asked.
"Well you are blessed with the One's Power. You can learn to harness it." Alessia spoke.
"You mean, become an Aes Sedai?" The girl asked as Alessia nodded.
"I never wanted this." The girl frowned and fell to her knees. Alessia took advantage of this and knelt next to her. Putting a hand on her shoulder.
"What's your name?" She asked the girl who was frowning.
"Jane." The girl spoke.
"I'm Alessia." Alessia smiled at the girl. "Whether we want it or not, we are called by the Wheel. For a greater purpose. You were called for a greater purpose." Alessia spoke as the girl nodded her head. "Come with us." Alessia added.
"I'll live at the Tower and train and learn to become an Aes Sedai?" The girl asked. She seemed sad as Alessia nodded her head.
"You'll be safe there as well." She added. The girl nodded her head again. Alessia stood up and helped Jane up. She led the girl over to the two reds.
"This is Tarna Sedai. Liandrin Sedai. This is Jane." Alessia introduced everyone. He helped Jane mount Tarna's horse before mounting Liandrin's horse herself from behind. Her arms snaked around Liandrin's waist and held tightly. Nuzzling her face against the older woman's back as they headed back to Tar Valon.
The day was already gone by the time they came back. Sheriam was outside waiting for them. Alessia hopped off the horse and wrapped an arm around Jane's shoulders and walked her over to the woman in blue.
"This is Sheriam Sedai. Mistress of Novices. She'll help you get settled. Always good to bow for respect." Alessia spoke as she bowed to the older woman. Jane nodded and bowed.
"Let's get you cleaned up and settled. Come along." Sheriam spoke while taking Jane into the Tower. Alessia watched her go and sighed.
"Follow me." Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded her head and followed. They were silent as they made their way to the red floor. Alessia was nervous and she didn't feel anything coming from Liandrin. It started to worry her.
"Don't be nervous, my flower." Liandrin spoke as she entered her room. Alessia closed the door behind her. The woman in red lit candles with a wave of her hand.
"Come here." She spoke. Alessia walked over to her and sat down on the bed next to her. "You saved that girl's life. A Wilder she may be but maybe someday she will contribute to the Aes Sedai." Liandrin spoke. Pouring herself a glass of wine. Alessia took it and took a sip before handing it back. Feeling the dry liquid go down her throat.
"You are very confident in what you just did." Liandrin smirked at Alessia who smiled back.
"Well. I am glad she is safe now. No girl or woman should have to live in fear for having such an amazing gift." Alessia spoke.
"Unfortunately with Wilders, not many are so lucky. They mostly burn out or hunted and killed." Liandrin spoke as Alessia frowned at this.
"You know. I'm a Wilder right?" Alessia asked while looking at Liandrin.
"No. You are different." Liandrin spoke.
"No. I'm not. You remember that night when I said someone was at the door when my father did not hear it?" Alessia asked as the woman in red nodded. "I did some research. Apparently that was me touching the spark. I used it to eavesdrop on conversations." Alessia admitted. She could feel Liandrin getting uneasy.
"I didn't think the conversations were real or not. I could hear people talking from far away. I even listened to Moiraine and Lan speaking one night in the library." Alessia spoke.
"Wait. You knew Moiraine when you were younger?" Liandrin asked as Alessia nodded her head.
"Yes. She was the first Aes Sedai I met. She healed my arm when I crashed into her." Alessia showed the scar on her arm to Liandrin.
"I always wondered where you got that. I thought I was the first you ever met?" Liandrin asked with a small frown.
"Second. On the same exact day. I just happened to like you more and you weren't always in a hurry to go somewhere. You always stayed to make sure I heard about one of your journeys." Alessia smiled and leaned against the older woman who wrapped an arm around Alessia and pulled her close as they laid down on the bed. Alessia rested her arm across Liandrin's waist. Snuggled up against the woman and smiled. Feeling her back caressed as Alessia closed her eyes. Feeling her chest warmth spread as she could feel her love flowing to Liandrin. Hearing the woman let out a small sigh with a smile. Opening an eye and smiling. Leaning over and kissing her cheek.
"Do you miss her?" Liandrin asked all of a sudden. Alessia felt her heart sink. The woman in red gently ran her fingers through Alessia's hair.
"I won't lie to you. I do." Alessia spoke softly.
"I can feel your heart ache sometimes at night." Liandrin spoke.
"I'm sorry." Alessia whispered. Feeling a tight squeeze around her waist.
"Don't apologize for how you feel. I'm not upset." Liandrin spoke as Alessia let out a sigh of relief.
"It doesn't change how I feel about you." Alessia spoke.
"I know. I can feel it. As long as I still get to call you my flower." Liandrin turned to face Alessia and cupped her cheek.
"Been your flower ever since you started calling me that, my love." Alessia spoke. She blushed at this and saw Liandrin's cheeks turn a slight pink as well. She could feel the older woman's nervousness. Alessia raised a brow at the woman and she had her answer when she was pinned down. Liandrin was laying on top of her and started her kisses. Gently caressing Alessia's sides before sliding her hand down.
"Oh!" Alessia let out a soft moan as she felt Liandrin's fingers slip under her clothes and into her. Feeling her hips push against her.
"That's a good girl, my flower." Liandrin cooed into her ear as this sent Alessia over the edge.
Two Months later
Alessia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Letting the Source flow to her as she opened her eyes to channel from her own self. There was a young girl laying in bed asleep. She had a fever and was up all night coughing.
"Now, let it flow to her." Chesmal's voice instructed as Alessia nodded her head. Feeling a piece of her taken from her as it flowed from her hand to the girl. Hearing a soft gasp as she opened her eyes. Alessia smiled and felt relieved.
"You are getting better at healing. Might be your calling." Chesmal spoke as Alessia chuckled. She had finally learned how to heal. Ever since Kerene had healed her, she wanted to learn how to do it. 'May her soul rest with the Mother.' Alessia silently prayed as the girl sat up and was bouncing around.
"How much do we owe you?" A woman asked. Chesmal nodded at Alessia.
"I am in training. Since you allowed me to practice on your daughter, there will be no charge. May the Light be with you." Alessia bowed to the family as they left. She smiled at the woman in yellow who was pulling out small bottles of liquids and herbs.
"Time for you to learn your herbs and medicines just in case." Chesmal spoke as Alessia nodded. She sat down and began to write. Noting everything that the woman in yellow was telling her. She had been training under the yellow ajah in healing. She had just finished her punishments with Sheriam. Teaching the Novices more on the side so they could channel more. She was able to create the air shield simply now. Shielding was a tiny bit faster as she was getting better. She and Liandrin were a lot closer now. Very close. She had kept in contact with Moiraine. Her love for both of the Sedai was only growing. She smiled at the thought of both of them as she was mixing liquids together to make a cough tonic.
"Very good." Chesmal spoke as Alessia smiled and nodded her head. "Now, get some books from the library and come back." Chesmal spoke as she nodded. Standing up and bowing to the woman. She took her leave with her hands behind her back with a small smile. She had finally adjusted to living at the Tower, finally. Being the top Accepted in her studies and channeling. She didn't brag. If anything, she was humbled and taught the best she could to the others.
"Alessia!" Jane shouted as Alessia turned and smiled at the girl she brought to the Tower two months ago.
"Jane. How are you? Walk with me. I have an errand to run." Alessia spoke as she was listening to the girl talk.
"I can't thank you and the red ajah enough for rescuing me." Jane spoke as Alessia only smiled at her. "I don't know what I would have done." The girl added. Alessia stopped and rested a hand on Jane's shoulder.
"The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills." Alessia spoke as Jane nodded and bowed before skipping away. She chuckled as she watched the girl leave. Jane was adjusted to the Tower life as well even though she was there for a short time.
"Alessia?" Egwene's voice came. She turned and hugged Egwene.
"How is it going?" She asked her friend.
"It's going alright. Will you help me later like you promised?" Egwene asked. Alessia nodded her head again.
"Of course. Once I am done with the yellow for the day." Alessia added. Egwene hugged her again before taking off. It seemed like the Novices were loving her. Only because she gave them the time of day. She made it to the ground floor and walked through the hall. Hearing grunting as new men were sword fighting. They were training. She kept to herself.
"Are you Alessia?" A man spoke as Alessia stopped and turned her head to face him. He walked up to her and tried to touch her shoulder as she tilted her shoulder away.
"I'm Jace. New trainee." He spoke as Alessia nodded. "I heard about you. You're strong and can weave fast. Plus you can weave on horseback. That's amazing." Jace was trying to butter her up and she didn't like it.
"Hmm." Was all she said to him.
"I hope you are green. Maybe I can be your warder." He spoke as he touched her cheek. She could feel a rage of jealousy in her stomach that came from Liandrin who was watching on the other side. Alessia did not look at her. Her eyes were still on Jace.
"I don't need a warder." She spoke softly.
"Why not? I think we would make a great team. I just hope you aren't red." He added. There was now anger coming from Liandrin.
"What's wrong with red?" Alessia asked as she moved into his personal space. Eyeing him with an unchanged look on her face.
"Nothing. Just. Maybe I thought I could, you know. Be your protector." He spoke.
"I can protect myself, thank you very much." Alessia snapped and turned on her heels and left Jace with his mouth opened. She could feel the overwhelming pride in her as she caught Liandrin's eyes. The woman in red had her head held high with a smirk on her face. That beautiful face. She turned her attention back to continue to the library.
"You're doing well my flower." Liandrin spoke as the woman in red came to walk next to her. Her hands behind her back as well.
"I have amazing mentors." Alessia spoke. She could feel the pride again as she smiled at Liandrin. The woman stopped as did she.
"I've trained you well, hmm?" Liandrin traced a finger across Alessia's cheek while smiling. Alessia kept her eyes locked on Liandrin's and nodded her head.
"I will finish with the yellow ajah this week and start with brown soon. They said with Adeleas Sedai. She's not here though." Alessia spoke as they went back to walking down the hall.
"Ah yes. She is with Verin Sedai in her house in the countryside." Liandrin spoke. It seemed like this woman knew where everyone was.
"Are they sending me to her or is she coming back?" Alessia asked.
"I do not know. I hope she comes back. I cannot stand being away from my beautiful flower. Hmm." Liandrin spoke as Alessia blushed. This woman knew how to tug at her heart strings.
"Well. I have to say." Alessia spoke as she looked around and moved into Liandrin's personal space. Gently pressing against her.
"I hate not being around my favorite red ajah. What would I be able to do without her?" Alessia asked. She received a smirk from the woman in red. She leaned in and kissed her deeply. Alessia smiled as she felt her love flow from Liandrin to her.
"Mmm. You can do a lot, my flower." Liandrin whispered against Alessia's lips. "One day you will be a powerful Aes Sedai." Liandrin added.
"Yes, with you by my side." Alessia added. Giving her another kiss. Liandrin smiled at this. Giving Alessia a loving smile before kissing her deeply again. She slid her arms around the woman in red and held her close. Not wanting to break away.
"You seem to have it set in your mind that I will always be by your side, my love." Liandrin spoke against Alessia's lips.
"Do you not want to be?" Alessia asked as she pulled away.
"Of course I do. I wouldn't want it any other way." Liandrin smirked. Caressing Alessia's cheek. Alessia smiled and nodded.
"Good. Now. I have to grab books from the library to bring back to Chesmal Sedai." Alessia spoke.
"Right. On your way my dear flower." Liandrin spoke as Alessia bowed before taking her leave. Her thoughts were running everywhere. She was happy. Having one of her favorite Aes Sedai with her already all the time. Though, she frowned a little. Her thoughts trailing over on Moiraine. She wanted the blue ajah by her side as well. Her heart started to ache at the thought again. She felt a tug in her chest from Liandrin to soothe her over. She smiled again before making her way to the library part of the Tower.
She arrived and looked around.
"Here for those healer books?" A brown asked her as she nodded her head with a smile. She gave the woman a bow as she left. Alessia was browsing the books as one caught her eyes.
Different Aes Sedai bonds. What to do if one breaks.
She grabbed it and flipped through the pages. She frowned while most of it was covering warder bonds.
"Want to check these out?" The woman asked as Alessia nodded.
"Yes please. This one under my name. The rest under Chesmal Sedai." Alessia spoke as the woman in brown nodded her head as she wrote it down. She grabbed the books and left after signing the scrolls for inventory. She had rechecked the other books she was still reading. Humming softly while making her way back to the yellow floor. She opened the door to the infirmary and smiled at Chesmal who was still there.
"Alessia! I was worried you got lost." Chesmal chuckled as Alessia smiled and shook her head. She set the books down.
"Oh no dear. These are for you to study." Chesmal spoke as Alessia's eyes went wide.
"Right! Um, they are under your name though?" She asked.
"Yes because you can't check out this many at once. Be sure to return them. I trust you." Chesmal spoke as Alessia nodded her head.
"Done for the night. Come back tomorrow." The woman in yellow spoke as Alessia bowed. Taking her leave with her books to drop them off in her room. It seemed like she was going to be doing a lot of reading the next few days. She dropped the books off on her desk. She would read them later. She grabbed the book that caught her attention and sat on her bed and flipped through it again. Most of it was about warder bonds still Getting slightly frustrated as she continued skimming through it and found it.
Aes Sedai bonds between each other. Also known as Lover's bond. One must take extra care if to bond with an Aes Sedai. The longer the bonds, the stronger they become. Senses become heightened with each other. Feelings are known to each other and can feel each other. In time, bonds develop into more. Studies showed that bonds made between two Aes Sedai, they could read each other's minds or speak to each other. Bonds are rarely done with each other due to the fact it is used by spirit. As if souls are being bound to each other. Both parties must consent before performing a bond between the two. It is heavily advised against if one is to regret a bond. The only way for a bond to break is if one dies or is stilled/shielded from the source. Or if one is released from the bond. Short bonds are easier to heal from those bonds that last longer. Some say the heart ache becomes too intense, one will take their own life.
Alessia slammed the book shut and took a couple deep breaths as her heart was beating rather fast. She covered her face with her hands. 'Moiraine. Why didn't you tell me?' Alessia frowned.
"Alessia dear!" Alanna's voice made her jump. Seeing the woman in green walk over to her with a bright smile.
"From Moiraine." Alanna spoke as Alessia took the letter and smiled. Giving the woman a bow before a hug.
"Thank you Alanna Sedai. I'll reply quickly." Alessia spoke as Alanna waved her hand with the dragon fruit in her hand before taking off. Alessia grabbed her book and made a dash to her room Closing the door to read the letter.
My Dearest Lessy,
I am so happy to be hearing from you. I mean keeping in contact. I don't know if my heart could take it from not hearing from you. How are your studies coming along? I heard you will be studying under Adeleas Sedai soon. Then blue. Siuan had written to me saying she will come up with something to have you train under me. I am looking forward to seeing you again. To hold you in my arms and everything. We shall see what happens. I will admit, I can feel my heart flutter every time I think about you. I am still on my mission. Figuring out my next move. There are still many things I wish to teach you. I have been keeping tabs on you. I heard you saved a Wilder. I will be wanting to hear from you about your missions. I love you Alessia. Don't forget that.
All my love, Moiraine.
Alessia smiled at the letter and sighed softly. She told Alanna she would reply quickly. She decided to keep it short and simple.
My dear Moiraine,
I look forward to seeing you. There is much we should discuss. Not just from the missions I went on. I know what happened. I love you Moiraine.
With my love, your Lessy.
She folded up the letter and tied twine around it. Hearing a knock at her door opened and closed. She looked up and smiled. Liandrin let herself in.
"I felt some pain from you earlier. Are you alright?" Liandrin asked while cupping Alessia's cheek. She smiled at the woman and nodded.
"Yes. I am alright." She stood up and saw Liandrin pick up the letter and read it.
"She loves you and misses you." Liandrin spoke softly. Alessia nodded and hugged the woman around her waist. Kissing her neck softly.
"I hate to say it, but you two need to see each other." Liandrin sighed and set the letter back down on the desk. Alessia only tightened her grip around the waist.
"We do." Alessia replied. Feeling her chin lifted as looked into those blue eyes that looked into her soul. She smiled and placed a soft and gentle kiss upon Liandrin's lips. The older woman didn't pull away but only pushed Alessia back against her desk. Lifting her onto it and pulling up her dress.
"Liandrin." Alessia spoke softly.
"Hmm?" Was all the older woman said.
"I have a lesson to be teaching Egwene soon." Alessia replied. Feeling the woman slid her hand up closer and closer. Alessia started turning pink
"She can wait a few minutes longer." Liandrin spoke in a sultry voice. Alessia shivered and then moaned softly at the contact between her legs. Tilting her head back as Liandrin latched her lips against her neck. Biting and sucking roughly. Making quick work with her as Alessia was lost in bliss. Moaning Liandrin's name quietly as her hips moved against her lover's hand.
Alessia smirked as Liandrin was panting now to catch her breath. She licked her fingers clean while giving Liandrin a deep and loving kiss. Seeing the older woman tremble against her before letting her go. Fixing her hair and dress before taking a deep breath.
"You know, we aren't supposed to give into pleasure." Alessia spoke in a matter of fact voice. Liandrin only rolled her eyes with a smirk at Alessia. Giving her another deep kiss before leaving. Alessia followed her lover out of her room before taking a different direction. She had dropped her letter off to Alanna who was about to send them out. She had caught the green ajah just in time. She was humming softly as she found her two best friends in the garden.
"Alessia! About time!" Egwene spoke as Alessia bowed to them before giving them both a hug.
"So, what is it that you need?" Alessia asked. It was odd for her friend to ask her to watch over a new weave.
"It's supposed to take a lot. I am not sure. Just, use the shielding on me when I start to burn." Egwene spoke. Alessia gave her friend a worried look. Looking at Nynaeve who sat down on a bench and began to read.
"Egwene, which weave are you trying to learn?" Alessia asked.
"I want to create a fireball. Like Moiraine did that one night." Egwene spoke. Alessia frowned at this. She nodded her head and waved her arms in a circle to ready to shield her friend. She could feel eyes on her. Liandrin was watching from across the garden. Her hands behind her back and waited. Egwene was grunting as she weaved her hands. Trying to recreate it. Alessia flicked her wrists to create the weave and threw it onto Egwene who grunted and fell to the ground. She let the weave drop.
"You need to be careful. That level of a weave takes a lot of practice." Alessia spoke.
"But yet you can do it." Egwene protested.
"No I cannot. Not at that size. I only managed to create a small one." Alessia spoke. "Start out smaller." Alessia instructed.
"Weave?" Egwene asked. Alessia smiled as she channeled. Moving her hands slowly to show Egwene as she then weaved. Creating a smaller fireball. Letting the weave drop. Egwene took a stance and began to weave. Alessia recreated the weave for the shielding and waited. She was prepared just in case. Egwene had managed to do it.
"Yes!" Alessia jumped once and gave her friend a hug. "I'll teach you a new weave tomorrow!" Alessia spoke as it was now getting dark. Alessia looked around and felt something off. Seeing Nynaeve give her a hug as well before taking off.
Once her friends were gone, Alessia frowned. She couldn't feel Liandrin. She was hoping the woman in red was alright. She quickly went to the red floor to look around. Liandrin wasn't in her room.
"Tarna Sedai, you've seen Liandrin Sedai?" Alessia asked as her friend shook her head.
"You just missed her. If you're quick, you can catch her. She went that way." Tarna spoke as Alessia nodded. She held the cloak on her tightly and made her way down the hall. Seeing Liandrin turn a corner. Alessia ran down the hall. Her heart raced as she turned the corner. It was a dead end. Confused as she looked behind her. Around the area as she pressed against the glass. It moved. 'Huh. Weird. Did the Tower have secret tunnels?' She thought as she pressed against it. It moved like a doorway. She stepped through as it closed behind her. It was quiet. She slowly made her way down the stairs. Holding her breath as she did not want to get caught. Let alone know if she was even allowed to go down this hallway as it went downwards. The steps were wet for some reason. As if they were just recently scrubbed. She turned a corner and gasped. It leads outside of the Tower. Yep, this was a secret tunnel. She frowned as she still couldn't feel Liandrin for some reason. She saw the familiar black cloak disappear from the corner of her eyes. She put her hood up and followed. Making sure she hid every time Liandrin had turned to look over her shoulder. She watched her lover enter a house not far from the Tower. She followed suit. Stepping inside and closing the door.
"My sweet boy. I am sorry for being gone so long." Liandrin's voice spoke in a loving way she had never heard before. Feeling her heart ache as she stepped into the doorway. There was a man laying in the bed. He was old and barely breathing. Liandrin was pouring him some tea before turning to face him. Helping him drink the tea. Alessia felt her heart drop. 'Who is this man?' She thought. She took a step forward and heard the floor creak. Liandrin lashed out and sent a thread of fire at her. Alessia felt the last hit her cheek as she stumbled backwards and fell. Covering her cheek as the skin was now burned and bleeding. Alessia felt her eyes stung as she cried out.
"Who's there?!" Liandrin asked. There was horror in her eyes as Alessia looked up. She slowly stood up. "You're not supposed to be here!" Liandrin shouted at her. Then she realized it was Alessia when her hood fell. Her flower. Standing there holding her cheek as it was bloody. Alessia started to cry. The pain in her cheek was becoming too much. Liandrin went from angry to fear. Seeing what she had done.
"My dear flower! I am so sorry!" Liandrin was now panicking as she rushed over to Alessia who backed up quickly. "Alessia. I am so sorry. Please forgive me, my flower!" Liandrin tried reaching out to Alessia again. Alessia backed up. Her heart raced as her eyes were letting tears fall. She turned her heels and ran from Liandrin who was calling after her.
