Chapter Thirty: Kidnapped

Alessia was tapping her fingers on the table in the dining room while she was writing the prophecies she learned about last night. Sighing softly while rolling up the scrolls to give them to Verin Sedai. The woman in brown seemed to be out and about today.
"You alright my love?" Moiraine's voice came as Alessia looked over her shoulder and nodded her head lightly. Feeling a soft gentle hand touch her cheek. Alessia closed her eyes and leaned into the woman's touch. Feeling a thumb caress it before she kissed her fiancé's hand.
"I'm going to bathe. Join me?" Moiraine asked as Alessia nodded her head.
"Yes. I can help bring the water." She spoke while standing up. Grabbing her things.
"The water is already in. Just needs to be warmed up." Moiraine added as Alessia smiled. She nodded her head before heading to the bedroom. It seemed Liandrin was out and about as well. She set her things on a table in her bedroom before grabbing a change of clothes. Today's pick is blue pants and a white blouse. All her shirts were white. She made her way into the washroom, Moiraine was already undressed and waiting. Looking at the woman who was now bare in front of her. She felt her cheeks turn a light shade of pink before moving over to the tub to weave fire threads to warm the water. Feeling a hand run down her back as she shivered. Smiling as she took her nightwear off before climbing into the tub. Leaning onto the side to relax. The water shifted around as Moiraine was now in front of her but her back towards her. Alessia wrapped her arms around Moiraine's chest and pulled her close. Allowing the older woman to lean on her. Moving the brown hair to the side as she softly kissed Moiraine's neck. Watching the woman close her eyes and softly smile. She was completely relaxed now as well. Alessia smiled as she grabbed the sponge and lathered it with soap before slowly scrubbing Moiraine's shoulders.
"You seem to be enjoying yourself." Alessia whispered into Moiraine's ear as she let out a soft chuckle.
"I do have my beautiful young fiancé washing my shoulders. Don't blame me if my hands tend to travel." Moiraine spoke in a warning voice. Alessia set the sponge down as she turned to face away. Moiraine pressed against her from being.
"Moiraine, what are you doing?" Alessia asked while looking over her shoulder in time to feel a trail of kisses across her back. Hands exploring as the older woman slid her hand down south. Alessia gasped lightly and leaned back. Closing her eyes with a soft moan.
"I warned you, my Lessy." Moiraine cooed into her ear. Alessia blushed and only smiled as she turned to face Moiraine, straddling the older woman as Moiraine pushed her fingers deeper. Causing Alessia to moan loudly and leaned forward to bite her lover's shoulder to silent herself. She knew now why Moiraine wanted her to join in the bath. Not that she was complaining, but rather enjoying it.

Alessia weaved the water from her hair as she began to brush it. Moiraine was already dressed while reading a book on the bed. Setting the brush down as she slowly walked over to the bed and crawled into the middle. Resting her head upon Moiraine's stomach. Closing her eyes while listening to the woman's heart beat. Feeling gentle and soft fingers ran through her hair again and smiled.
We need to talk. Liandrin's voice came
'Everything alright?' Alessia asked.
I think you need to mask our bonds every time you get intimate with one of us.
'I'm so sorry my love.' Alessia felt embarrassed.
"Everyone alright?" Moiraine asked as Alessia sat up and sighed a little.
"Yes. I think it's best if I start masking our bonds when we get, you know." Alessia was trying to explain.
"I see. I agree. It's not fair to either of us when you get excited and we aren't there to provide." Moiraine spoke as Alessia felt embarrassed again.
My flower? Liandrin asked.
'I'm here love. Moiraine agrees as well.' Alessia replied.
Ah, she's with you then?
'Yes. Just laying in bed.' Alessia replied.
I'll be there soon.
"Speaking to Liandrin Sedai?" Moiraine asked as Alessia nodded. She sat up and moved closer to Moiraine and slid her arms around the woman in blue's hips.
"I know you two don't get along but I do appreciate you both trying." Alessia spoke softly.
"What people do for love." Moiraine sighed. Alessia frowned at this.
"Moiraine. I don't want you to be uncomfortable" Alessia spoke softly.
"I don't like sharing a bed with you and her. I prefer my own bed with you in it." Moiraine spoke while wrapping an arm around Alessia's shoulder.
"I understand." Alessia spoke softly. Hearing the door open and closed. Liandrin looked at them both before walking to the other side of the room.
"Well. I will be splitting nights then." Alessia spoke as she stood up.
"What do you mean?" Liandrin asked. Alessia looked at her wife before putting up her hair.
"Alanna Sedai asked for me this morning." Alessia replied before taking her leave from the room. She felt bad that Moiraine hadn't told her about this earlier.
Moiraine told me what happened. Why didn't you say anything? Liandrin asked.
'Because I feel awful about it right now.' Alessia replied as she knocked on Alanna's door. It opened as Alanna was halfway dressed.
"Oh. Need a minute?" Alessia asked as she was pulled into the room.
"We are heading out to a couple villages over. There is some sort of civil war going on." Alanna spoke as she finished getting dressed. Alessia was facing a wall to give the woman privacy to change.
"You need to wear your Accepted dress. Hurry. Go pack a couple things." Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded her head and bowed before quickly going back to her room. Hearing an argument.
"She's my wife!" Liandrin spoke. The woman in red's arms was crossed.
"And my fiancé." Moiraine spoke calmly. They both stopped and looked at Alessia. Her heart dropped with a frown.
"I just." Alessia began before grabbing her small bag and stuffed a few of her Accepted dresses into it.
"Going somewhere?" Liandrin asked.
"Yes. Alanna is having me go with her as part of the training to a couple villages over." Alessia spoke. "I am sorry for making you both uncomfortable." Alessia spoke as she looked back over at them. She quickly stripped and pulled out her dress and threw it over her head. Looking around to make sure she didn't forget anything else before looking back to both of her lovers.
"It's not your fault my flower." Liandrin walked up to her and cupped her cheek. Kissing her forehead.
"This is new to all of us. We are bound to clash, yes but we will overcome it." Liandrin spoke softly. This made Alessia smile and nod her head.
"Liandrin and I may not like each other but we are both happy. You make us happy." Moiraine added. Her eyes found the deep blue ones and took Moiraine's hand into her own and squeezed.
"So, separate beds." Alessia spoke as they both nodded. "I don't like it but I want to make you both happy. I don't mind splitting my time. Maybe one day we won't have to." Alessia spoke, hearing a chuckle from Liandrin before being pulled into a tight hug. She closed her eyes and inhaled Liandrin's scent. It made her head spin a little but she loved the feeling she would get from this. The hugs. The kisses. Everything. It made her heart purr.
"I shouldn't keep Alanna Sedai waiting." Alessia spoke softly Seeing both of her lovers nod their heads. Alessia gave both of them a loving kiss and hug.
"My flower?" Liandrin asked as she turned to face her wife.
"Yes?"
"Stay in contact. If anything happens." Liandrin began
"You will be the first to know." Alessia spoke as the woman in red nodded her head. "Make sure Moiraine is the first to know if anything happens. I love you both!" Alessia added. With that, she took her leave to find Alanna.

She was riding her own horse while in the back between both of Alanna's warders. The horse was gray and white. More like a full gray horse with white spots all over. The battle ajah was humming softly to a song she was singing earlier. Her thoughts kept trailing around to the things she learned. To the bath from earlier. She blushed at this. She had no idea why she still felt butterflies and what not around her lovers. They were following a dirt road to the village. Or was it a town? She didn't remember. All she knew was that Alanna asked her to join and she did. Not sure how long they would be gone. Feeling her horse stopped as Alanna was speaking. She looked up and saw some knights wearing the lion banner as they directed Alanna where to go.
"May the Light be with you." Alessia spoke as they rode past them.
"And you." A man shouted at them before going out of sight. She clicked her tongue for the horse to begin moving. Wondering if these were horses that belonged to the Tower. Wondering how many connections there were that the Tower had. Knowing the blue ajah, there were many. Humming softly with Alanna to the next song she was singing.
"Not too far now dear!" Alanna spoke. They had been riding all day. She was starting to get tired. Her mind was silent all day. Hoping Liandrin and Moiraine were not at each other's throats. She was going to do whatever it took to make the two happy. Even if it meant sleeping in different rooms at night. They took a different path and this time it was smaller. Alessia looked up ahead and saw a small town. There was smoke coming from it as there was shouting.
"Shouldn't we have brought the others?" Alessia asked as Alanna only smiled at her.
"It takes one Aes Sedai to take care of these things." Alanna spoke.
"Of course Alanna Sedai. My apologies." Alessia spoke as Alanna shook her head.
"No need to apologize dear! This is a learning experience for you!" Alanna cheerfully spoke as she nodded her head while riding her horse into the town. There was a lot of screaming and shouting from the folks of the town. Alessia looked around trying to figure out why they were so angry. There was much tension in the air surrounding the area. It seemed there was anger lingering as well.
"Be gone Aes Sedai!" A woman shouted as Alessia felt an egg hit her arm. She looked at it and wiped it off.
"You'll get used to it." Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded. It wasn't the first time she got jeered at.
"You're only an Accepted, leave them while you can!" Another voice shouted. That was not going to happen. She shook her head and looked forward as she followed Alanna. Dismounting their horses while walking into an inn. Hearing the area go silent as they walked inside of the building.
"You're not welcomed here." A man spoke as Alessia looked up to see a beefy looking man. He was red faced as if he was having a hard time breathing.
"Enough. Room for two?" A woman asked as she came into view.
"Just one please." Alanna spoke. "We won't be here that long." Alanna added as she handed the woman some money before they were being shown to a room. It had two beds. One was bigger than the other. Alessia set her bag on the smaller one and looked out the window.
"Wonder what's got the townsfolk all angry." Alessia spoke.
"Probably a political mess or something." Alanna replied while eating an apple.

'Where did that come from?' Alessia thought while watching the woman in green take a seat as her warders were taking.
Where did what come from? Liandrin's voice came.
'Oh! I am sorry love! I need to keep my mind closed off. Anyways, we made it safely. Half the town already hates us.' Alessia replied.
Thank you for letting me know, my flower. I love you and stay safe. Liandrin spoke as Alessia smiled at the words.
'I love you too. Get some rest.' Alessia replied before sitting down on the bed.
"Don't mind sharing the room do you?" Alanna asked.
"Of course not!" Alessia spoke with a smile. She was used to sharing. It didn't bother her. It is what made her humble to begin with.
"I'm going to ask around town about the dispute." Alessia spoke as she stood up.
"Good idea. Be safe." Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded before taking her leave.
It seemed like the town was half and half. She was welcomed by some and some did not want her there. She went down a muddy road as the bottom of her dress got dirty. It was something that could easily be washed. Feeling the mud mush under her feet however made her feel gross. Shaking her foot to flick some of the mud off. Hearing voices whisper around her as she takes a deep breath.

She saw a woman looking at her and waved her hand. She walked up to the woman who was smiling at her.
"Hello Aes Sedai!" The woman spoke.
"Oh. Just Accepted." Alessia spoke as she held her hand out to the woman who took it and shook it.
"Ah. Learning outside the Tower?" The woman asked. Alessia nodded her head again.
"Well, it seems the townsfolk aren't getting along." Alessia spoke while looking around. Some were running out of sight. Some were glaring at her.
"They say they don't want the crown in our business." The woman spoke as Alessia raised a brow at her.
"Is the crown causing issues?" Alessia asked as the woman shook her head.
"No. The knights that were here earlier were providing protection until the White Cloaks came. Something about righteousness in the eyes of the Light." The woman chuckled and that made Alessia smile.
"So, the White Cloaks are causing the issues?" Alessia asked as the woman nodded this time. "Hmm." Alessia was in thought while looking around again. "Why?" She asked.
"Well. They said all magic users are followers of the Dark One. They are going around trying to gain support by asking us to pay them for their protection. As you can see. We are a poor town yet people want to pay for them." The woman spoke. Alessia felt uneasy at this.
"I don't understand. If there are issues, why not ask the crown for help?" Alessia asked.
"We have no money." The woman replied.
"So you tell the White Tower. The Aes Sedai are servants for all." Alessia spoke as the woman frowned.
"I didn't think of that. Maybe someone did and that's why you're here?" The woman asked.
"I believe so." Alessia spoke softly.
"Hey, the Cloaks should be back for an answer. I believe the people should be able to defend themselves." The woman added as Alessia nodded before taking her leave.
'This is a political issue.' Alessia sighed.

The town you're in? Liandrin asked.
'Yes. White Cloaks came in demanding them to pay for protection and getting rid of magic users.' Alessia added. She had a thumb on her chin while in thought.
I don't know why the White Cloaks are getting involved.
'Me either. I don't like the sound of this. I need to tell Alanna.'
Stay safe, my flower. With that, Alessia went back to the inn to tell Alanna about her findings. She found Alanna sending her warders outside to keep an eye around the town.

"Find anything?" Alanna asked as Alessia was now in the room closing the door behind her. It seemed food was brought up to their room. She was starving after all now.
"Yes. Half of the town wants to pay White Cloaks to keep them safe. From magic users." Alessia spoke.
"And the other half?" The woman in green asked.
"They support us. I assume that's why we are here?" Alessia asked.
"Yes, I was given word from the Tower that this town needed some help against the Cloaks." Alanna spoke as she kept looking out the window.
"What do you mean Alanna Sedai?" Alessia asked as her heart began to race at this.
"We are going to make sure the Cloaks are not welcomed here." Alanna spoke with a smile on her face.
"Um. Care to fill me in with details?" Alessia asked as she raised a brow.
"Well, we are just going to have a word with them." Alanna spoke.
"Alanna Sedai, the Cloaks do not reason with the Aes Sedai. They have murdered your sisters. Our sisters." Alessia spoke as Alanna raised a hand to silence her.
"I know. We have to take a chance." The woman in green replied. Alessia did not like the sound of this. She only nodded her head. Now they had to wait for the Cloaks to come back to the town. She grabbed her plate of food and began to eat. Making sure she didn't eat too fast nor slow. She needed her strength just in case the White Cloaks were up to no good like they always were. Her mind was silent right now as she pulled out a book to read.

Alessia was now pacing back and forth while Alanna was sitting by the window. Constantly looking outside. It seemed night had fallen as most of the town was inside. Hearing scattered footsteps as there was a knock on the door. Alessia went to answer it and saw the woman from earlier.
"They're here! South gate!" The woman whispered before running off. Alessia looked at Alanna who nodded her head. She took the lead as Alessia followed. Making sure she had nothing on her as they made their way outside. Her warders were already waiting for her. Seeing men in pure white standing at the entrance of the gate. Slowly making their way into the town.
"The Aes Sedai do not need to be interfering." A man spoke. Alessia looked up and saw a man she'd seen before. He caught her eyes.
"I've seen you before. Why are you with this woman?" The man asked.
"She's training. Leave her be." Alanna spoke. Alessia bit her tongue to keep silent.
"I ask again." He spoke while walking slowly up to them. Alessia kept her eyes on the man. "Why are you with this woman?" He asked.
"Training." Was all she said.
"So, you're a magic user. A follower of the Dark One." The man spoke as he raised his hand and snapped his fingers. "I hate to say it but the Light trusted in us to cleanse this world of all the Dark One's followers." The man spoke.
"We serve no Dark One. Only the Light." Alessia replied as she sighed. Seeing several men rush into the gates. Alanna was prepared as her warders were already attacking. Alessia channeled quickly. Setting her shield up as arrows were shot at them.
"Perfect timing." Alanna spoke as she weaved pure air. Releasing the energy to send the men in white flying.
"You will not get away with this Aes Sedai!" The man shouted as he flung his arm forward. More men came into the town as Alessia followed Alanna as they retreated a little before turning back. She was weaving pure air with Alanna. Releasing the energy as well. Alanna being more experienced caused several more explosions as Alessia caused like two.

'Shit!' Alessia thought while weaving again. Seeing more arrows as she weaved a shield.
Everything alright my love? Liandrin asked.
'Now is not the time!' Alessia returned her thoughts while calling more of the One's Power to increase her shield.
What's going on? Liandrin demanded.
'We're under attack by the White Cloaks in the town.' Alessia replied. There was now silence. Wondering if Liandrin had gotten the message.
"We can do this all night!" Alanna shouted.
"As can we!" The man shouted back.
"Alessia, link with me!" Alanna ordered as Alessia nodded. Setting her wrists across from each other as Alanna pulled from her. Feeling her chest tugged as Alanna drew power from her. Grunting as Alanna raised her hands up and found them downwards. Seeing more energy released with larger explosions. Alanna needed her help to increase her power without burning out to protect the town and it's people. It seemed luck was in their favor. Well, luck had nothing to do with it. Alanna was really good at what she does.
"Retreat!" A man in white shouted. Feeling the weave drop as Alessia was catching her breath. Seeing the men fall back out of the town.
"I have a feeling this isn't the end." Alessia spoke as Alanna looked at her.
"It never is. They won't stop until all of us are dead." Alanna spoke.
"Why can't they understand we serve the Light?" Alessia asked while shaking her head.
"I don't know. Come on. There is wounded from that fight." Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded. She went around looking at the damage. There wasn't much but the arrows from the White Cloaks have caused damage.

"You see! This is what they do!" A woman shouted. Alessia looked over her shoulder and saw the woman from earlier.
"The White Cloaks will stop at nothing until there is no one left!" She shouted.
"And the Aes Sedai?" A man shouted in return.
"They just protected us! They killed no one!" The woman replied back.
"It hurts." A little girl's voice came as Alessia looked at her. Seeing an arrow in her lower part of her leg. Alessia frowned.
"Okay. I need you to be brave for me, okay?" She asked the little girl who nodded. "This is going to hurt but I promise you it will be over soon." Alessia spoke again. The girl cried out as Alessia snapped the arrow in half and pulled it out. She was bleeding rather quickly. Alessia weaved spirit out from her chest to the leg. Healing it completely. Sighing a relief as the girl stopped crying.
"One day I wanna be strong like you!" The girl spoke and hugged Alessia. She gently rubbed the girl's back before seeing her dash away into a woman's arms.
"Mommy! That lady healed me!" The girl pointed towards Alessia. They exchanged nods while watching the small family disappear into a house.
"Come along. We have more to do." Alanna's voice called to her. She stood up and began checking on other townsfolk. Some had lost their lives and it made her sad. She looked around as her warders were carrying the dead away to be buried. Alessia looked at Alanna who was speaking to the leader of the town.
"Thank you Aes Sedai." The man spoke before taking his leave.
"Hopefully the town can recover without the Cloaks interfering." Alanna spoke.
"I fear this wasn't the end." Alessia spoke.
"It never is with them. We need to keep a lookout." Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded her head yet again.
"I can take the first watch." Alessia offered.
"No. My warders can. You need to get some rest. We have a long day tomorrow." Alanna spoke. She raised a brow.
"This isn't the end. We have to speak to the leader tomorrow and find out what we can do to move forward from here." Alanna spoke.
"But we are not grays?" Alessia asked.
"No. But when it is needed, we step in." Alanna spoke.
"Alright Alanna Sedai. I'm going to do a final look around to make sure we didn't miss anything." Alessia spoke as the woman in green nodded.
"Stay in town and in sight." Alanna spoke. Alessia bowed before taking her leave.

The dirt crunched under her feet as she was healing burns, cuts, small wounds. A man was coughing as she walked over to him. He gave her a glare.
"Just want to help sir." Alessia spoke as he nodded. She gently touched his forehead. He had a fever. Closing her eyes as she weaved again. Spirit came as it flowed around her hand as she touched his forehead again. Hearing a sigh of relief as the man smiled.
"Thank you." He spoke before standing up to leave. She saw a small group of people coming up to her. Hoping she would help them out. She smiled to encourage them to approach. They had gotten the message. They sighed a relief after each healing session down with each person. Alessia felt her energy was now getting drained. She pushed on. Not wanting to fail the towns people.
"Dear, you will make a great Aes Sedai." The woman spoke as she came up to her. Alessia smiled and bowed to the woman.
"I just want to do my best." Alessia spoke as the woman patted her arm before leaving. Alessia watched her leave before her eyes caught Alanna's. She received a nod as Alessia went back to looking around. Hearing children running around while laughing. Maybe it was safe now?
"Children!" Alessia shouted as they stopped to look at her. "Go inside. It's still not safe." She spoke as they nodded at her before running away. Hoping they had heard her.
"Alessia!" Alanna's voice sounded distressed. She looked over her shoulder in time for Alanna to be weaving. She was confused at the angry look on the woman in green's face. Her confusion was answered. She felt something sharp hit her on the side of her head as she fell down to the cold wet ground.

Alanna's POV

The town was silent now after the fight. Alanna looked around to make sure the people were getting taken care of. Closing her eyes as she could feel her warder's feelings. They were on edge. She sent a calming sensation towards them while watching them ease a little.
"It seems that your little trainee is doing well." Ihvon's voice came as Alanna smiled. This young woman had captured her heart in such a short time she had known her. Well, it has been about a year now. Ever since Moiraine brought the two young women, her curiosity only increased.
"She's excelling. I'm surprised we have strong channelers joining us in the Light." Alanna spoke while looking at her lover and sighed softly. "It's a shame the Amyrlin Seat advanced Alessia's training and not Egwene's." Alanna spoke.
"Probably because Alessia learns quicker. She's strong." Ihvon spoke while crossing his arms.
"I hope she picks green. We can use power like hers in the Final Battle." Alanna replied. Watching the young woman heal the townspeople. They were piling around her.
"People like her." She added. Remembering the look Liandrin was giving her that night in the tavern. "I wonder." Alanna thought while looking around.
"Aes Sedai?" A man asked as Alanna turned to smile at a man coming up to her.
"How may I serve?" Alanna asked as she bowed to the man.
"I'm the leader of this town. I want to thank you for all your help tonight. We need to discuss things tomorrow morning. Will you be here?" He asked.
"Of course we will be." Alanna spoke as the man shook her hand before leaving.
"What's going on?" Alanna asked as Ihvon had a horror look on his face. She followed the line of sight and saw. There was a man in pure white robes coming up behind Alessia. Alanna felt fear rising in her.
"Alessia!" She shouted. The young woman looked up at her with a confused look. Alanna began to channel. She released a blast of energy near the Accepted. She had missed of course. Seeing Alessia fall to the ground as three more men in white came into sight. Putting a bag over Alessia's head and hoisting her up over a shoulder on the man.
"Release her!" Alanna shouted as she began to weave again. Sending another blast. Ihvon was already running after them. "Stop!" Alanna shouted as she ran after them as well. She stopped and saw them retreating on horses.
"Oh this is not good." Alanna spoke. Her sisters were going to be angry with her.
"We need to get the others." Ihvon spoke as her other warder came into view.
"Yes. Let's go!" Alanna shouted as she ran to their horses and mounted. Clicking her tongue to head back towards Andor.

It seemed the road was shorter there than on the way. Well, she never made it since her path was stopped. She saw two shadow figures rushing towards her on horses. Once they were in sight from the torches that her warders had, she finally recognized them.
"Moiraine Sedai? Liandrin Sedai?" Alanna asked with a confused look as two of her sisters were coming towards them. She felt her heart beating against her chest. Normally when one got taken away, they would gather reinforcements to go back and rescue their sisters. Most times they were always too late. They lost too many sisters from the White Cloaks. This was always a touchy thing towards the red ajahs. Knowing full well that Liandrin cared about the young woman, this was going to be hell to pay.
"What happened?" Moiraine asked. Alanna frowned.
"Where is she?" Liandrin demanded.
"How did you know something happened?" Alanna asked. Then it clicked. "Are you two bonded?!" Alanna gasped. She was happy for them! 'No! Now is not the time.' She thought. 'We have to tell them.' Ihvon's voice interjected.
"Where is Alessia, Alanna Sedai?" Moiraine asked more calmly.
"She was kidnapped." Alanna finally answered.
"What?! This was supposed to be training!" Liandrin shouted. There was anger on her face. "I can't feel her!" Liandrin added as Moiraine frowned.
"Who took her?" The woman in blue asked.
"White Cloaks." Alanna replied. There were horror looks on both of the women's faces. Alessia, their favorite Accepted, was now in the hands of the enemy. If they aren't fast enough, Alessia will be dead. Alanna did not want that to happen.
"Where did they go?" Moiraine asked.
"I do not know. South from the town." Alanna replied as Liandrin already took the lead. She could feel the woman in red was terrified and angry at the same time.
"We need to hurry." Moiraine spoke calmly again. Alanna nodded her head. She was already fearing the worst.
"Right now, we need to pray to make sure Alessia is alive and awake soon so we can try and contact her." Moiraine added. Alanna raised a brow.
"They've been bonded for a long time now." Moiraine explained.
"I understand." Alanna spoke. She gave Moiraine a reassuring look. Their secret of course was safe.
"She's good for Liandrin." Alanna spoke. "We need to get there before it's too late." Alanna added as she kicked her horse's side to pick up the speed. Hoping their trail was still fresh and not too late.
