Chapter 2.

First person POV.

Araki POV.

Araki is now 17 years old, a white-haired young man with red and blue eyes looking at a picture of himself with his family.

Araki's eyes filled with tears as he recalled the first time he met his new parents and the last time he set foot in the orphanage where he was raised as a child.

Araki was staring at his family photo displayed in the middle of the room with a sad look while shedding tears.

"Why did they also quickly leave me alone?" Say Araki softly with a sad tone.

Since Araki was adopted as the son of Kazuma's family, Araki has received the affection of having parents that he never got other than the aunt who guarded the orphanage first.

Araki felt a happiness he couldn't forget, until the day he lost everything that he had.

Araki clenched his fists tightly as the memories of that bloody night resurfaced in his mind.

(Flashback to 5 years ago.)

Third person POV.

That night, rain poured down on the area where Araki and his family lived with very heavy lightning that struck everything on surface.

"Go to sleep, Araki." Said Clara Kazuma as she gently stroked his head.

Araki slowly closed both his eyes as he began to get carried away into the dream realm.

"I have a bad feeling about this night, Arthur." Tell Clara to Arthur with her worryedly look.

Arthur, who was staring out the window with a sharp look, slowly turned to look at Clara.

"It was just a hunch, nothing more." Arthur replied as he walked up to Clara who was sitting beside Araki who was sound asleep.

Arthur gently rubbed Araki's head while still staring out the window that was being washed by the rain.

Arthur continued to stare out the window with a wary look. Clara, who noticed the strangeness in him, immediately patted Arthur's shoulder softly.

"What is it, Arthur??" Clara worriedly asked Arthur.

"I have a bad feeling tonight too, Clara." Arthur replied while looking at Clara.

"Pray to Michael-sama for the bad feeling to disappear." Clara said as she gently rubbed Arthur's face.

"You're right, Clara." Arthur said, smiling at Clara.

Suddenly the walls of their house were shattered and the black-robed man entered the room. Arthur was shocked when he saw the man who was now in front of him.

"Apparently here you are.." Said the man who out of nowhere appeared with a terrible smile.

Arthur immediately pulled out his holy sword from his palm and pointed it towards the man in front of him.

"Kokabiel.." Arthur softly said his name with his deathly look.

"Arthur, well... I can't believe you've been hiding here all this time." Kokabiel replied as he slowly approaching Arthur.

Arthur quickly swung his sword towards him, as light came out of his sword towards Kokabiel. But Kokabiel casually dodged sideways to avoid an attack from Arthur.

"Hehh.. Is this what the Angels do when someone visits their home?" Kokabiel asked with a cynical expression.

"Why did you come here?!" Arthur asked while maintaining his vigilance.

Kokabiel was silent for a moment before taking a glass and pouring water into the glass and drinking it.

"I came here to see you at once." Kokabiel replied with a smile on his face.

Arthur gasped before raising his vigilance to a higher level. He knew that the people he was dealing with were not an ordinary people.

"I don't want a guest like you, Kokabiel!!" Arthur answered and immediately showed 4 White Angel Wings on his back.

"Hehh.. I see. I don't think this is going to be gentle." Kokabiel answered and showed 10 Black Angel wings on his back too.

Kokabiel immediately created a spear of light that came out of his hand and pointed it at Arthur.

"Don't you see the difference between us? Very far, isn't it? You only have 4 wings, and I have 10 Wings! Just accept your death, Arthur!!" Kokabiel proudly shouted and further widened his 10 Black Angel Wings.

"Heh.. I know that you are stronger than me. But whatever happens, I will defeat you!" Arthur replied with a look full of fighting passion.

Kokabiel turned his smile into a terrible look as his eyes turned into red.

"I will kill you, that woman, and that child." Kokabiel replied and quickly threw his spear at Arthur.

Arthur quickly fends off Kokabiel's spear with his sword, the spear is successfully repelled, but his sword is thrown off and immediately seized by him.

Kokabiel smiled looking at the Arthur's sword that was now in his hand. Then, he quickly teleports in front of Arthur and intends to stab him right in the chest.

Arthur thanks to his Heavenly Sense ability, was able to dodge Kokabiel's attack and launch a counterattack by creating a spear of light and aiming it at Kokabiel's chest.

Kokabiel managed to avoid Arthur's attack, but he was hit by Arthur's spear right in his left shoulder and left began to bleed. But then, Kokabiel with a mocking smile, slowly rubbed his shoulder and the wound he received suddenly disappeared.

"N-no way!!" Arthur looked puzzled and surprised at what Kokabiel has done.

"You think I didn't come here with a plan? I have obtained a healing Gear that can heal any wound in the blink of an eye!" Kokabiel replied with a laugh.

Arthur who saw this, immediately told Clara run away with Araki because the current situation was very unsafe for them.

"Clara!! Take Araki away as far as possible!!" Arthur shouted to Clara.

Clara quickly picked up the sleeping Araki and ran away with all her might.

"It will all just go down the drain." Kokabiel sneered at Arthur.

Kokabiel immediately teleported near Araki and Clara who were running and intended to stab both of them.

"No!!" Arthur shouted.

Arthur quickly teleported to block Kokabiel's sword, which was advancing towards Clara and Araki.

But as a results of his action, Arthur got stabbed by Kokabiel's sword right in the middle of his chest. Gold-colored blood suddenly came out of his clothes as Kokabiel's sword were stabbed and piercing through his chest.

Kokabiel looked at Arthur's face with a broad grin before quickly pulling the tip of his sword from Arthur's chest.

"You see.. Everything you're gonna do is gonna be for nothing." Said Kokabiel in a mocking voice.

Kokabiel immediately teleports to where Clara and Araki are and takes her back to where Arthur is.

"C-Clara!!" Arthur shouted with all of his might as he saw Clara and Araki in front of him along with Kokabiel.

"I'm sorry, Arthur.." Clara said in a sad tone and could only cry looking at Arthur.

"That's was so sad.." Kokabiel quipped while grinning.

"You're going to pay for this, Kokabiel!!!" Arthur shouted while staring at Kokabiel with full of hatred.

Araki immediately woke up from the sound of Arthur's screams and found his own father kneeling while bleeding from his chest.

"D-dad!!" Araki said softly when he saw his dad who were was kneeling covered in blood in front of him.

Arthur who heard Araki's scream immediately turned his eyes towards Araki.

That was the last time Araki saw his father when Kokabiel quickly beheaded his father right in front of him.

Clashh!

Araki was shocked and very scared when he saw Arthur's head rolling beside his headless body.

But all was not over, Araki at this time saw his mother being strangled to death before him. Seeing the death of his parents in front of his eyes, Araki felt a deep sadness inside him.

Kokabiel stopped and looked at Araki who was crying hysterically beside his mother's body.

Araki could only cry as much as he could as his eyes began to glow and his pupils changed.

Kokabiel who saw this was made very surprised by what happened before him.

"C-Creation! Imposibble! This couldn't be happen! No way!" Kokabiel said while widening his eyes because he was very surprised right now.

Kokabiel immediately ran to Araki, and when he was about to touch Araki's body, a barrier suddenly formed around his little body and exploded right in front of him.

Kokabiel was thrown tens of meters when Araki fell unconscious next to his mother's corpse. Kokabiel who is currently exposed to the effects of the explosion produced by Araki makes him loses all the power of the Fallen Angel. He knew that it was an effect of the explosion. And he is sure that his strength is slowly fading away and it will take quite a long time to restore all his strength.

Kokabiel knew that if he continued to take Araki, it would be suicide. There must be an Angel or a Devil who will soon approach the place of the explosion, while he has now lost all his strength. He will surely only be plundered by the Devils because he is now likes an ordinary humans, has no power whatsoever. Kokabiel decides to leave until he regains his strength to continue hunting Araki as long as he still lives in this world.

Araki wakes up and finds himself in the hospital. His body was in so much pain.

"You're awake?" A man's voice came from beside him.
