Aiz was practically skipping as she went home. She was getting a lot of weird glances and whispers from the people watching her but she didn't notice it. The reason she was gathering even more attention than normal was how she was acting. Normally she was always seen with her familia and when she was alone she seemed withdrawn. But now she was acting completely different. She looked like a normal girl with the way she was smiling as she walked. She was wearing a brown jacket that while fit her, was not hers. But what made them stare at her was not what she was wearing but her expression. She had a small smile with her cheeks slightly red. All the men who saw her had their hearts stolen. Everyone knew she was as beautiful as a goddess, but right now it was more noticeable.
Aiz kept walking oblivious to all of this. The only thing on her mind was that interaction she just had with Bell. Her heart was still pounding from what happened. She put her head on the cheek that Bell touched. She was in shock over what happened. Mini Aiz had passed out the second Bell did that to her.
She knew Bell was an adventurer but he always seemed so shy in front of her except when they were fighting. So to see him act so bold with her made her feel things she didn't understand. She did know that she liked it though.
'He is changing so much.' Aiz thought to herself. At the rate he was going it wouldn't be long before he was on the same level as her. Would he change even more once he was stronger or would he stay the same shy boy? She started giggling to herself, she knew the answer. Bell would always stay the same kind, gentle boy. She wanted to change though. To be someone he could always come to for help. She mused to herself what she could do.
'Would Bell like it if I did that to him?' She wondered. She imagined it in her head. She would reach up and grab Bell's cheek. Gently touching him as she brought him closer…
She stopped that thought immediately as her face was almost steaming with how red it was. She sped up trying to go home as quickly as possible.
'Maybe Tiona will know what to do with this feeling.'
Aiz knew she wasn't the best when it came to emotions. For most of her life, she had been consumed by hatred. However, ever since her battle with Revis, she felt more in control. That wasn't to say the anger had left. She still hated the monster that took her family away. And she was still going to become stronger. So that she could protect the people dear to her now.
With these thoughts in her mind, Aiz arrived at Twilight Manor. She looked up at her familia's home. The impressive white castle with different peaks rises to pierce the sky. She walked through the gates and nodded to the guards. The guards' reactions were different than what she expected though. They both stared at her with mouths open and faint blushes on their cheeks.
She tilted her head trying to remember if she did something to them. They were lower rank members but Aiz couldn't think of anything. As she kept walking into the castle she noticed for the first time how everyone was looking at her. She was used to people staring at her but this was different. This was her familia and they were all staring at her weirdly. Some had their eyes and mouths wide open while others just looked at her in confusion.
Aiz didn't know what was wrong but before she could think about it more, someone called her name.
"Aiz, there you are." She turned around when she heard Raul's voice. He was running up to her but as he got closer his face froze up like everyone else's.
She looked at him waiting for him to say something, but when he didn't she started the conversation.
"Are you okay?" She asked him with a small frown. Was there something important today that she forgot? She couldn't remember anything besides the issue with the Hestia Familia.
Snapping out of whatever daze he was in, Raul answered.
"Sorry, I'm fine. But the Captain wanted you to head to his office once you got back."
Aiz nodded at the message and started walking up to Finn's office. More people stopped and stared at her and with each one she got more concerned she had forgotten something.
'Is it someone's birthday? Are we having another party?' She thought as she continued. Once she got to Finn's door she knocked to let him know she was there.
"Come in." She heard his voice and opened the door.
When she walked in she saw the core members of the familia. It didn't shock her, she knew Finn would want to talk about what they had heard. Once she walked in they stopped talking as they stared at her. She knew she had to have done something wrong when she saw Finn's eyebrows raise in astonishment.
Before she had a chance to ask what was wrong, Lefiya pointed a trembling finger at her.
"Why are you wearing that human's jacket!?" She practically screamed at her. Once it was pointed out to her she remembered that Bell had given her his jacket. She had forgotten about it because of how normal it felt to wear it. Even though it was her first time having it, it was familiar. She would never admit it, but she also liked the faint smell that reminded her of Bell.
While she stood there fiddling with the ends of the jacket, Tiona was bouncing on her toes with her excitement.
"Did Argonaut finally make his move?" She giddily asked."
"His move?" Aiz was confused about what she meant. Before they could get into that conversion Finn cleared his throat.
"Ahem. Aiz we just finished telling everyone what we heard earlier today. We were hoping you would tell us what Bell told you in private."
After that, everyone focused back on Aiz. Seeing that she had everyone's attention she started recounting what she knew.
—
"…And then the Xenos rescued them." She finished. No one said anything once she had finished. After a while, Loki started talking.
"I doubt I have to say this but nothing I heard was a lie. Even though I didn't hear about the end, that little rabbit couldn't lie if his life depended on it."
Everyone knew she was right. It wasn't as if they doubted the story, anything could happen in the dungeon. They knew that better than most. It was just that everyone had different things on their mind.
"A monster that can repel magic," Lefiya muttered. To a mage like her, that was the most horrifying thing she could face. While she was worrying about that Bete and Tiona were getting hyped up.
"Man, Argonaut gets the best adventures! One day I got to go with him." Tiona sighed.
"If he could handle that monster then so could I," Bete said.
"Why are you trying to turn this into a contest? Either way, I would never let some monster hurt the Captain." Tione jumped in.
While they were distracted by the Juggernaut, Finn, and the other executives were focused on something else.
"A safe spot on the 37th floor," Finn said as he got up and went to grab a map of the 37th floor.
"If that is true it could help us reduce supplies and be a good spot to drop off our wounded," Riveria added.
"Well let's not get our hopes up," Gareth said before they could start getting too serious about it, "from the way he made it seem it wasn't a huge safe zone."
"That's why we will have to check it out ourselves," Finn said as he laid the map on the table. "Aiz, did Bell give you specific instructions?"
Aiz nodded and walked up to the map and pointed to where Bell said he came out.
Finn marked the whole area and stared at the map some more. While he was doing that Gareth let out a laugh.
"Still he's something, isn't he? Going to the Colosseum and living to tell the tale isn't something many people have done."
"Yeah, he is," Aiz gently mumbled, "but he needs to take more care of himself."
Riveria sighed when she heard that. Aiz looked questioningly at her and she answered. "Just thinking how nice it would be if you ever listened when I told you that."
Aiz just shrank slightly and looked away from her, which caused Riveria to sigh again. Seeing that Riveria might start lecturing people again, Tiona spoke to Gareth.
"I know right? He always has the coolest adventures. To think he's only been doing it for 6 months." She said when her sister heard that she looked back at Finn as she remembered something.
"That's right, did you guys ever figure out how Rabbit Foot levels up so fast?"
Once everyone heard that they looked at Finn but he just shook his head.
"Sorry, with everything else it didn't come up in conversation," he said before he noticed Aiz's face, "But maybe Aiz knows."
Everyone looked at Aiz once they heard that. To most people, she would look the same as normal. However, the people in the room could see a small downturn of her lips. The only one who knew exactly what this meant was Riveria.
'She's… annoyed?'
"Aiz?" Finn repeated once it was clear she wasn't going to talk.
"I don't know how he levels up….but I do know why he wants to." She briefly said before saying nothing else.
Loki sighed and gestured for her to go on. Aiz's eyes flashed with some emotion but before they could figure out what it was it vanished.
"He wants to catch up to someone…. And once he does he's going to her he loves her." Her voice was as cold as ice.
Everyone was silent for a moment. That was broken up when Tiona and Tione started busting out laughing.
"Hahahahaha. So he's just chasing some tail." Tiona said, clutching her stomach.
"I knew he was nothing but a womanizer!" Lefiya yelled when Tione comfortably patted her back.
"No need to be jealous that he's honest about his desires." She teased her.
"What do you mean by that?!"
"Nothing Loki Jr."
While Tione was holding Lefiya back Bete just tsked his tongue.
'Someone to fight for, huh?' He thought to himself as he pictured an energetic amazon in his mind. He shook his head once that came to mind. While the young ones were getting all worked up the executives and their goddess just looked at each other knowingly. But Riveria was confused about why Aiz was acting like that.
"What's the matter Aiz, you seem annoyed at something?"
"Nothing," She said but as if realizing Riveria wouldn't take no for an answer she continued, "I just want to know who it is."
'Maybe it's Gale Wind.' As she was thinking of who it could be she didn't notice the rest of the room. They were all staring at her even more confused than when they saw her in Bell's jacket.
Riviera hesitantly spoke, "Wait are you telling me you don't know?"
Aiz just shook her head. The rest of them were just dumbfounded. There had to be a limit to how dense one could be. They all knew who it was but didn't know what to say. Anyone who spent any time watching the two of them together could tell. Riviera just put her hand on her head as if feeling a headache incoming. Tiona was getting ready to talk when Loki jumped in.
"Since we're talking about Rabbit Boy shouldn't you tell them what you asked them, Finn?" She asked him, diverting the conversation from something Aiz wasn't ready for yet. Aiz and everyone else looked at Finn wondering what Loki was talking about. Seeing that the diversion worked, Finn smiled.
"I asked the Hestia Familia if they would like to come on our next expedition in a month." He answered. As expected that got a reaction from everyone.
Tione looked slightly interested while her sister looked like someone told her it was her birthday. Lefiya's face fell when she heard that she would have to go on an expedition with that human. Aiz on the other hand had her mouth slightly opened. This was the chance she had been looking for. She and Bell could finally go on an adventure together. Mini Aiz was happily twirling around once she heard that. Bete though immediately tried to shut it down.
"Are you crazy? I'll give it to you, the Rabbit Brat could probably survive if we take him down there. But the rest of his familia would be nothing but ankle weights." He sneered at them for even suggesting it. Taking more weaklings into the dungeon was asking for trouble.
"What's this? You finally recognize Rabbit's foot?" Gareth commented to which Bete just let out a huff. Finn who expected this just calmly replied.
"Of course, the rest of them would be treated like supporters for the duration of the expedition. And when we go to the 59th floor we would leave all of them besides Bell at the safe zone. However, even then I think there would be benefits in bringing them with us."
"Like what?"
"Well as you've experienced they have a mage with a powerful spell," Bete knew what he was referencing. That fox girl and her level-up magic. He conceded with a nod that she would be helpful waiting for Finn to continue. "Also their blacksmith has created an interesting new type of magic blade. This would be the perfect opportunity to check out its capabilities."
Bete just huffed but looked away. Seeing that that was resolved Finn was about to continue when he felt an ominous presence behind him. He turned around to see that Tione had snuck up behind him and was giving him a fake smile.
"Another reason wouldn't happen to be so that you could be closer with that Prum supporter of theirs, would it?" She asked with a sweet smile. Finn shuddered before hurriedly answering.
"Of course not, though she will probably be around me so she can learn…" He said slowly trailing off. Tione just leaned closer.
"So you wouldn't mind me keeping an eye on you correct?"
"Not at all!"
Once she heard that she nodded and went back to her sister. Finn let out a quiet relieved sigh at that.
'Thought I saw my life flash before my eyes.' He thought ignoring the teasing looks from Gareth and Riveria.
"Don't get too excited, I offered but they haven't replied yet. There is a chance they will say no."
Aiz wasn't worried though. She knew what Bell would say. Loki seeing everything was wrapped up got up from Finn's table and started walking to the door.
"If that's everything, I got to go sleep off my hangover." She said but when she got to the door she turned around. "Also don't forget what was said in here stays a secret."
With that, she left the room heading towards her room. Seeing that the meeting was over everyone got ready to leave to do their own things. Bete headed out next with Gareth following him out. Riviera commented that she would stay to talk with Finn as the rest of them left. Aiz was getting ready to grab some more food when Tiona grabbed her arm. She looked at her confused but Tiona just dragged her somewhere with Tione and Lefiya following. After a few moments, Aiz realized they were heading towards her room.
Once they got there Tiona opened up the door and pushed Aiz to sit on the bed. Once they were all inside Tione closed the door behind them as they cornered her. She was confused about what was happening when Tiona sat down next to her and started shaking her by the shoulders.
"Come on, come on. Tell us what happened with you and Argonaut already." She told her. Aiz looked at Tione and Lefiya were standing by the door. One was smirking down at her while the other was frowning. Seeing that she didn't understand Tione explained.
"She wants you to tell us what happened after you and Rabbit's Foot left to go train today."
Aiz nodded her head as she understood what they wanted.
"We didn't do much, we just left to go train."
"It's been a while since I've seen Argonaut fight in person. How strong has he gotten?" Tiona asked. Even though she was the one who asked, Lefiya's ears perked up when she heard that.
"He's close to leveling up. And he's learned some more techniques." Aiz replied. When Lefiya heard that she was devastated.
'No way is he going to reach level 5 before me.' Lefiya thought.
Tiona was ecstatic though. "So that means with how fast he grows it's only gonna be a few more months till he's level 6 right?"
"At the rate he's going, probably. Why?" Her sister asked.
"So we can fight of course!"
Tione let out a sigh at that answer. She should have figured.
"Don't tell me you're trying to take someone else's prey?" She asked.
Tiona just shook her head no while Aiz and Lefiya just looked confused by what Tione said.
"Of course not, I just think it would be fun."
"Well as long as you don't overstep then it should be fine."
"Like you're one to talk." Tiona laughed at her sister. Seeing Tione scowl at that, and not wanting them to fight in Aiz's room, Lefiya asked Aiz another question.
"Is that when he gave you his jacket?"
Aiz just looked down at the jacket and blushed when she remembered the incident she was trying not to think about. Seeing that reaction the amazons forgot about their discussion and focused on her.
"Oh, so there is more. Don't be shy, you can tell us anything." Tione urged her on while Tiona nodded her head in agreement.
After a few seconds, Aiz told them.
"Well after he woke up, we were hungry so he got off my lap an-" she started before Lefiya interrupted.
"What do you mean 'got off your lap'!?"
Aiz looked startled by this interruption.
"He got off my lap?" She repeated, confused about what the problem was. Lefiya looked like she was about to combust with anger.
"And why was he on your lap?" She asked slowly, trying not to explode.
"Cause I put him there."
"Why?"
"I like patting his hair." She answered, happy when Lefiya seemed to understand. Lefiya didn't understand but was too shocked to say anything.
"Keep going," Tione told her when it was clear Lefiya was out of commission.
"We went to get Jagamarukun and while we were eating…." She trailed off again. Tiona squeezed her shoulder in support.
"Come on a little more." She told her.
"Then he put his hand on my cheek to wipe off the crumbs…. Then he ate them with his finger." By this point, she was almost steaming. She didn't know why but this was embarrassing to admit.
There was silence before Tiona and Tione started laughing. Lefiya was just staring blankly at the wall.
"That's a good one! Gotta try that with the Captain if it works this well!" Tione said between laughs.
"With the way you were acting, I thought he planted one on you. Should have assumed that would be too much for you two." Tiona said once she calmed down.
'Planted one on me?' Aiz was confused but went with the flow.
"After he gave me his jacket and said I could give it back tomorrow when we go training." She finished her story.
Tiona leaned back on her arms and let out a sigh. "That was good. After all that you still don't know who Argonaut is in love with?"
Aiz's head turned to face Tiona when she said that but before she could say anything Tione started.
"Don't say anything, Idiot. This is something she needs to figure out for herself or it's pointless." She said seriously.
Aiz looked at both of them not understanding anything.
Tiona got up and grabbed Lefiya ready to drag her out. Aiz put out her hand to try and stop them. Tione just calmly shook her head.
"Nope. This is something you have to think about, but I suppose I can give you something. I'll be back in a minute."
With that said they all left her room leaving her sitting on her bed.
'Do they know who Bell likes?'
She thought after thinking about what they said. If they knew then she should be able to figure it out. Mini Aiz put on her glasses as she seriously tried to figure it out.
She was the one who spent the most time with Bell so if it was someone they knew so should she. Gale wind maybe? She didn't know if they ever met but she was always helping Bell. Maybe that waitress who called Bell, hers. Could it be someone in his familia? No, they were just a good familia.
While she was thinking about this Tione came back in by herself. She was holding a book in her hand. She gave the book to Aiz and smiled.
"Here this will help you in the future. Don't tell Riveria though." With that said she left.
Aiz looked at the book, it was an ordinary book. It was a hardcover that looked around 200 pages if she had to guess. She glanced at the title.
'An Amazonian Guide To Seduce Your Man For Dummies'
"Seduce?" She said blankly, not knowing what that word meant.
—-
Aiz left Twilight Mansion as soon as she got up in the morning. It was 9 am so she was going to the meeting early but that was fine. She wanted to get away from that book as quickly as possible. She still remembered the way Tione laughed at her when they were eating dinner.
'Why did she give me that?' Aiz thought as she remembered everything the book said before she pushed it out of her head. Mini Aiz was still passed out after she had read the first chapter.
Aiz didn't know why she kept reading it after she started, but she couldn't put it down. She hoped that Bell didn't notice anything wrong with her.
She looked up at the sky and saw how dreary it looked. It was so cloudy that no sunlight pierced through. Everyone who was out seemed to be affected by it, seeming more quiet than usual. Aiz snuggled into the jacket she was wearing.
She didn't want to give it up if she was honest. It was comfortable and reminded her of Bell. As she was thinking that she stopped in front of an alleyway. As she stared at it the presence she felt stepped forward. She knew who it was instantly. He was a short feline male with black. He would probably be considered handsome if it wasn't for the scowl on his face, showing how much he didn't want to be there.
Aiz grabbed Desperate from her side, getting ready for a fight. The man, Vana Freya, just sneered when he saw this.
"Calm down, you brat. I'm not here to fight."
Aiz's eyebrows scrunched when she heard that but didn't lower her stance. Allen didn't care and just turned around, getting ready to leave.
"Come on, you've been summoned by Lady Freya. It's time to collect on your favor." With that said he took off leaving her stunned before she reluctantly followed him.
She knew this day would eventually come; she just didn't think it was going to be this soon. She began to mentally prepare herself.
In no time at all they were at Folkvangr. The guards looked at her warily but let her through without a word. She looked around. It was the same as the last time she was here. It was a beautiful building with a garden to match. She didn't have time to appreciate it though with how fast her guide was going.
Even inside he didn't slow down any. Aiz didn't have the time to notice anything. She was too on edge from being in an enemy stronghold. Her hand never left the handle of Desperate. Allen led her to a wide door at the end of the hall. He knocked and then opened it without hearing a reply.
Once she walked inside she saw Lady Freya sitting on a throne at the end of the room. Ottar was standing by her side looking emotionless. Lady Freya smiled when she saw her enter. Aiz looked away from her. She didn't like looking at Lady Freya; it made her uneasy. So she looked over her shoulder at the wall behind her.
Lady Freya kept smiling before she started talking, "Thank you, Allen, you may leave now."
Allen tsked but did as told. He shut the door behind him leaving the three of them alone. None of them said anything at first. Aiz was the first one to say anything. She didn't want to be here any longer than she had to.
"What do you want?" She asked. She had a bad feeling about this whole encounter and wanted it over. But Lady Freya just kept smiling, not disturbed in the least.
"No need to act so worried," Lady Freya laughed as she looked at her, "honestly I don't understand what he sees in you."
Aiz tilted her head at that statement but Lady Freya ignored her.
"Well since you want to leave so badly let me tell you the favor you owe then you can go."
Aiz tensed up when she heard that. She opened her mouth to say something but Lady Freya kept talking.
"No reason to look so afraid. As promised this has nothing to do with your familia. It is something that you will hardly notice."
Aiz looked slightly relieved and waited for her to finish.
"It's nothing too harsh I assure you. From now on I want you to have no more contact with Bell Cranel." She said it like it was nothing.
When she heard that all the thoughts running through Aiz's mind came to a stop. She could only stare numbly at Lady Freya.
"What?"
"Oh did you not understand?" Lady Freya said as she tilted her head at her. She smiled again and repeated what she said. "From this point on you are never allowed to have any type of contact with Bell. That means no more training, no talking, no sending messages, or anything. From this point on you will be strangers."
Aiz's heart rate picked up as she felt her stomach drop. Her mouth was dried and she took a few attempts to ask her question.
"Why?"
"Why? That's what I want to ask. Why aren't you happy? You got to train with my strongest warrior and were able to defeat your foe. And the payment is just breaking away from a person you've only known for a few months. Shouldn't you be happy?"
Happy was the last thing Aiz was right now. She was as pale as a sheet as she tried to figure out what was going on. Mini Aiz for once wasn't out; she was hiding in the corner of her heart. Curled up in a ball trying to dismiss the entire situation.
As Aiz thought desperately she remembered the first time she met Lady Freya and what she said.
"You're… You're in love with Bell?" She asked with a foreboding sense of certainty. Lady Freya did nothing, just gave her an expression to show she was listening.
"You said you were in love with someone when we first met… and you had your familia attack me when I was training him. Then you're familia helped him when fighting the Black Minotaur." She said becoming more certain with each reason.
'How could I not realize it!' Aiz was mentally berating herself. It was so obvious but since she never focused on much besides fighting it all slipped past her. She heard rumors from Loki about what Freya did to people she was interested in. And because of her that was going to happen to Bell.
After she finished her reasoning, Lady Freya got up and slowly walked over to her. Aiz glanced at her, no longer did she think of her as beautiful. The only thing she could feel was numbness. Lady Freya stopped right in front of her and gently grabbed her head. She tilted it up till they were looking each other in the eyes.
"Yes, I am in love with Bell." Aiz flinched when she heard that but Freya kept talking.
"I love him and he will be mine, so you don't need to worry. I will take care of him much better than you ever could. This is something you should be happy about. Now you will be able to focus solely on your goal so that he can't distract you."
The look in Lady Freya's eyes scared her. It was a love that bordered on obsession. Each word was a stab in the chest but she wouldn't stop.
"But we know Bell, he won't understand so you will have to be firm with him. When you see him you just have to tell him this." With that, she leaned in and whispered the words in her ear.
When she finished she walked back to her throne and sat down. She gave Aiz one last smile and left her some parting words.
"Remember you don't have a choice with this. And of course, you will keep this conversation between us. You may leave now." She said, with finality in her voice.
When she heard that Aiz just slowly walked out of the room and eventually left that building behind in a daze.
—-
"You look like you want to say something, Ottar," Freya commented when the girl left the room. She glanced at the man standing beside her. To anyone else, he would look as unmoving as ever but she knew better.
"It's nothing." He replied. She sighed when she heard that.
"I asked you so it's okay to speak your feelings. But it's fine, that's one of your cute points." She smiled as she looked at him.
"Shall I guess what you were thinking? Something along the lines of how that was a wasted favor?"
Ottar didn't say anything, but he didn't need to for her to understand.
"Hehe."
"It's not that it's a waste but for what reason? You would get Bell Cranel eventually." He finally said, fully confident in his goddess.
"While that would be the case normally this is different. It was necessary." Seeing that he still didn't believe she let out a small smile as she explained.
"Do you know the biggest problem that stops me from taking him?" She asked him. He thought about it for a minute before answering.
"The fact that he is immune to your charm."
"Correct." She was satisfied that he got it. "And this favor will help make him susceptible to my charm.
Ottar's face tightened at that.
"What do you mean?"
"Simple. There's a reason my charm isn't affecting him. While I can't tell you what it is, I can tell you the reason behind it. It's because he's already been charmed. That's why even though he acts shy and flustered with other women he can never perceive them as love interests."
"I don't know when or how, but when they first met, that girl completely charmed Bell's heart and soul. I don't mean like my charm but that's the best way I could describe it. No matter what happens, that charm she cast over him will not break."
"Even if the whole world was to turn his back on him as long as she didn't he would prevail. Then to break it all I have to do is make her turn his back on him. That's why I'm confident this is the way to go. I don't need to do something dramatic and big, I just need to remove this one obstacle." She finished her speech grabbed a bell on the side of the throne and rang it.
"And that favor will be enough to do that?" He asked, but Freya sensed his skepticism.
"No, but it will cause a seedling of doubt to grow between them. As time passes they will fall out of touch and every time Bell is pushed away by her it will grow. Of course, during that time I will be there to slowly fill him with my affection and widen the gap between them. It doesn't have to be now but eventually, their bond will snap."
"And the training will play a part in that?" He asked her.
"Yes, you will all make it so he will focus on getting strong and wearing down on his mental state. Then at the end of each training session, I will be there to comfort him. He won't have time to go chase down the Sword Princess and see what is wrong."
"What about Gale Wind?"
"If she is here he will feel more comfortable and accept the offer. That's not the only reason though. I've been with Lyu for a long time now, if she wanted to stay at Mama Mia's then I wouldn't have offered her this deal. But she has started to become so beautiful as she starts adventuring again. I also want her to be mine." She said as her eyes flashed with a deep passion thinking of her best friend.
"They will both come and they will both be mine by the end."
Freya was willing to be patient. She had already waited six months, she could hold off for another one or two to get what she wanted. She spent so long watching him. She knew that while he was strong, he was still a child. He was innocent and naive. She would gently whisper lies in his ear and break them apart. Same with Lyu. While she was strong she was a pushover. It wouldn't be long for her to fall for her.
While she was daydreaming about it Ottar spoke up again.
"And what of the Loki Familia? They won't stay silent."
She knew that was his main concern. Not for her of course. He knew in a clash between familias theirs would win.
"Yes, even though I told her not to say anything, they aren't stupid. They will figure out that it has something to do with Bell. If we are lucky they will attack him. If they do, we have justification for destroying them and tearing Bell and the girl apart forever. But I doubt Braver will let that happen."
"Would you like extra security around him until we determine what they do?"
"Yes, Hedin and Hogni should be fine for now. Though I doubt they will do anything. They will most likely find out that I'm behind it but even then they can't do anything. They have too much now. Also, they will have another problem on their hands soon enough." She finished mysteriously.
Before she could explain further the door opened and a young woman with gray hair entered. She bowed when she saw Freya.
"What is it you require Lady Freya?" She asked. Freya smiled and told her what to do. Once she got her goddess permission she started to chant her magic.
While she was doing that she turned to Ottar who was still diligently standing by the throne.
"Don't worry Ottar, Loki's children won't be able to do anything since I've done nothing wrong. Now if you'll excuse me I got a date to get ready for."
As she finished saying that the girl finished her spell and transformed into the definition of beauty. Freya changed to. Into a seemingly innocent city girl. Syr smiled at them and then walked out looking for her rabbit and little elf.

Aiz kept walking in a daze. She didn't know how much time had passed she just kept going with no destination in mind. She was just rethinking that scene over and over again. Where did she go wrong? Should she never have asked them for training? But without that, she would have lost to Revis. While she was walking she heard the voice she longed and dreaded to hear.
"Aiz!" She flinched and turned to the boy who said her name. She was horrified to see him there. She wasn't prepared for this to happen, she didn't want to say goodbye to Bell. But she had no choice, the agreement she made bound her. She couldn't stop this, so she locked all her emotions away. Aiz shoved Mini Aiz into the deepest parts of her heart, and put up her walls. Her face turned doll-like as she stared at him.
"Aiz, are you okay?" He asked her seeming concerned.
"Don't talk to me." She coldly said to him.
"Huh?" He let out a strange noise. Her heart was tearing but she continued to say the words Lady Freya told her to say.
"Don't talk to me. I've figured out how you have gotten stronger, I don't need you anymore." She repeated in a cold voice devoid of any emotion.
Aiz felt detached from the situation. As if she was not a part of the situation and was just a bystander. She saw him get flushed and try to figure out what was wrong. Her face didn't show the slightest change as he continued.
"What do you mean? What happened?"
"Nothing happened. I'm done pretending to be close to you to figure out how you got strong. I want nothing to do with you anymore." She said, ignoring how she wanted to cry after saying those lies.
"What?" She saw the moment he took a step back looking at her with visible unease. Aiz felt as if she could see their paths diverging. She was pushing him away. This was the last memory she would have with Bell, that pained face would be the last expression she ever saw him in.
"I thought we were friends Aiz." He said softly, this was the last chance. If she didn't take it their bond would break. Even then Aiz had to say it.
"Like I would ever be friends with a monster lover. I was just using you and now we are never going to meet again." Bell staggered back as if she had struck him.
When she saw that she turned and left. She walked back to her house. She didn't care where she went as long it was away from here. She couldn't stand there and look at him any longer, her heart couldn't take it. She treated him just like her familia did when they first met.
Her mind was a mess, she vaguely felt Mini Aiz crying in the depths of her heart. She felt something land on her and looked up. It had started raining at some point.
'This is fine. It's barely been six months.' She was still in shock, so she was reminiscing on the time spent with Bell.
'That's right it's only been six months. He's part of another familia. I know nothing about his past. Now I can focus on getting my revenge.' She listed out the reasons why this wasn't a problem.
'This is fine….. So why can't I stop thinking about him!?' With every reason she listed a memory would pop into her head.
The time she met him in the dungeon when he was sleeping. Giving him the first lap pillow. Watching him run away from her. Training together. Watching him fight the Minotaur. Showing him Rivira. Dancing together at Apollo's party. Going out of the city together. Dancing with the villagers. Hearing his fighting spirit while she fought Revis.
'Why does it hurt so bad!?' She was sprinting now trying to outrun the feelings rapidly crushing her. As she was running one final memory flashed in her mind. She didn't remember exactly when it was. They were both on the wall, training. He was waking up and looked at her from her lap. Instead of getting flushed and jumping away he just softly smiled at her. That face reminded her of something. She finally realized what it was. That was the way her father would stare at her mother.
Aiz stopped when she had that thought.
"Oh. I see." She looked at the sky and the pouring rain.
"I love Bell."
It was obvious once she said it. She found her hero. The one who showed her the light again and made her remember her parents. Who showed her how to smile and not focus on revenge. But it was too late now. He was going to be snatched away from her just like her parents were.
"Aiz?" Someone said from nearby, it was Riveria. Aiz looked around, she didn't know when but she must have kept walking after she stopped. She was standing in the front yard of Twilight Manor. She saw a bunch of people standing nearby looking at her with concern. "Are you alright, the guards said you wouldn't respond to them? Let's head inside and get out of this rain, you're soaked."
When Aiz heard that she thought back to a while ago when Bell asked the same question. She looked back at Riveria who was looking at her worriedly. She couldn't take it anymore.
"Riveria…" She said with a trembling voice as her lips trembled. Riviera's eyes widened but before she had a chance to do anything Aiz ran into her arms. Aiz started crying the second she was there.
"Bell, B-Belll…!" She sobbed into the elf's chest with no restraint. Riviera was stunned but quickly put her hands around Aiz. Aiz had streams of tears coming down her face as she continued to sob. She cried and screamed as if she was trying to banish all the pain.

Notes: Hope this chapter explains what happened. Next chapter will be in Bell's POV. I'm thinking of giving Bell another magic and am deciding between 2. If you notice any mistakes please let me know. Hope you enjoy the next chapter.
