Scourge ran, he ran for what felt like a couple of hours. Where did he run off to you ask? Not even he knew of that himself. He just wanted to get away from the castle. Several emotions ran through the Mean Green's head. There was Fiona Fox; the sly, crimson vixen who Scourge seemed to have genuine feelings for. She was his number one supporter, the woman that would never leave by his side, the one who got him out of jail... the woman who had just betrayed his heart. Tears were stinging from Scourge's eyes as they were flying in the air. Thank goodness no one was there to see him in this state, because if it's one thing for Scourge to feel betrayed, it was another where his pride had been shattered.
Scourge's running was interrupted as he almost bumped into a thing. Though he wished he would continue to run towards them after seeing who it was. "Oh... hey Miles..." Scourge said with a frown.
The yellow fox only frowned back at the green hedgehog.
"...Hello to you, Your Majesty." Miles said with a slight scowl near the end. "Don't you have castle to rot in, Your 'Majesty'." He said, rolling back his eyes so far Scourge swore he saw the little veins that connected his eyeballs. The Mean Green only looked at him with an almost blank stare.
Miles just frowned as he scoffed. "Tch, what's the matter? Cat got your tongue hm?" He said as he stared back and squinted his eyes at the king. Miles was also taken aback, when he saw the wetness from Scourge's eyes. Miles' eyes widened and he stifled out a laugh.
"...What?! What's so funny?!" Scourge asked in annoyance.
"...Oh that's priceless, why are YOU crying?! Did Fiona hurt your wittle feelings or something?!" Miles taunted with a smirk.
Scourge growled. How dare this inconsiderate brat make fun of him when was down?! "YOU LISTEN HERE YOU BRAT, I WASN'T CRYING!" Scourge screamed as he picked up the Anti-Tails. However, Miles was not scared and just smirked at him.
"Imagine what everyone else would say if SCOURGE THE HEDGEHOG WAS CRYING!" Miles shouted out the last part before continuing laughing.
It was about that Scourge decided that was enough and cracked his knuckles to try to threaten the little fox guy.
"You better wipe that smile off of your face, or else I'm wiping your face off your head!" He growled. Miles only blinked at the green hedgehog.
"Oh how threatening. Though, I suppose you already have a couple of faces to wipe." Miles said as he pointed to behind Scourge.
Scourge immediately turned around to see the rest of the Suppression Squad all smirking at him. Scourge instinctly prepared for an attack, when Patch spoke up.
"So ze rumors are true! Scourge Ze Hedgehog was shedding tears!" Patch exclaimed as he pointed at Scourge, who was still shedding one singular tear. Alicia, Miles, and Boomer all snickered.
"WHAT?! NO! NO I WASN'T!" Scourge exclaimed back.
"Oh that's so funny!" Alicia taunted, "Wait, if this is Fiona's doing, then good for her! Does this mean you're single again?!"
"Shut the fuck up!" Scourge growled as his ex-girlfriend.
"What's the matter Scourge? No longer feeling high and mighty like you used to? You need your bitch to make you feel good?" Alicia taunted.
"...I DON'T NEED HER ANYMORE!" Scourge shouted, as a fountain of tears came streaming down his face seemingly on their own, causing the Suppression Squad to laugh at him again.
"YOU KNOW WHAT?! FUCK YOU GUYS TOO!" Scourge said as he went running away again, the Suppression Squad dying of laughter as he left.
Scourge continued to run. He was feeling all kinds of pain and embarrassment. He needed a safe place to stay at, so Scourge ran to the only place he had on his mind...
"GIMME ANOTHER!" Scourge yelled, slamming down the 5th drink of beer he had in his hands. The bartender came up to him with a slight frown.
"...Don't ya think you've had enough?" She asked with a slight eyebrow raise.
"...DO I LOOK LIKE I'M A GOOD MOOD TO YOU?!" Scourge screamed as he was starting to get a little tipsy. It was only him the bar, there were more Moebians in there before he got there, but he scared them all away. "I NEED ALL OF THE BEER YOU GOT! GET ME THE STRONGEST FUCKING ALCOHOL YOU GOT THERE! I NEED TO DROWN MY DEMONS, GOT IT?!" Scourge screamed. The bartender only blinked as she whipped up what he requested.
'Yeesh... that guy has some issues.' The bartender thought to herself as before she had to tend to the back.
Scourge chugged down a lot of the drinks in one sitting. It was a miracle on how Scourge was still standing, despite rapidly losing his sobriety. Scourge thought long and hard about what he wanted to do starting forward.
He thought, for a brief moment, about his goody-two shoes alternate self, Sonic the Hedgehog. Scourge scowled at how his counterpart had everything going good in his life. He had his fangirls and girlfriends, friends who actually cared about him, and most importantly, he had a family; parents who truly cared about him, who loved him and would never abandon him. Scourge clenched his fists and punched the table. It had came to Scourge's attention that he was indeed, a loser in this moment. There were angry tears coming down this time.
No, Scourge thought. He was going to go to Mobius and give that blue hedgehog a piece of his mind! Yeah, that was the perfect plan. He took out a Warp Ring he hid in the inside of one of his jacket pockets, and he smirked. Oh everyone was going to feel his wrath. Especially that stupid Amy Rose, who had dared to take care of him and give him free food and hospitality. Scourge smirked as he drank another beer and used the Warp Ring. He then took the remaining mugs of beer he had and stepped inside. The bartender from before watched everything unfold as she was polishing glasses.
"Huh... what a weirdo." She mumbled to herself, as she continued to polish a glass.
Scourge stepped inside and saw Mobius. It was a peaceful night there, unlike in Moebius, though it was raining over here too. He hated it, he looked around with an evil smirk as he drank more and more. Yeah, Scourge was going to cause lots of pain to others, and he was going to-
Although unsurprisingly, Scourge finally seemed to pass out from all that alcohol, as he collapsed on the floor face first.
"...I am starting to get the slightest feeling of deja vu." Amy said nonchalantly as she saw the drunk Scourge in the rain again passed out. Though, she glanced to the side and saw the amount of empty mugs that were not too far from him. Amy had a slight feeling of concern, however.
"...Why are you here again, Scourge?" Amy sighed as she approached him closer, umbrella in one hand, and was going to check if he was ok in another. She placed two fingers to the side of his neck for a pulse. Amy's eyes widened as she felt it was very weak. She panicked, he wasn't going to die, was he?
"Scourge? Are you ok?" Amy asked, only to get no response, which made her panic even more. "Scourge?"
Amy blinked as she was increasingly getting more of Scourge's lack of responses.
"COME ON YOU BIG JERK! SAY SOMETHING!" Amy shouted.
Finally, Scourge responded! It was a bunch of incoherent groaning though. Amy sweatdropped as she began to pick up to where she could see his face. He had a big goofy smile on his face as his eyelids were droopy. Amy looked at him with concern. "Scourge...?" She began.
"*hic*...Hey there *hic* pretty lady," Scourge hiccuped, flashing a charming smile at the pink hedgehog "How *hic* about I get you out of that dress?" He asked drunkenly.
Amy only rolled back her eyes. "Scourge... what happened to you?!" She asked, concern written in her voice.
"I had a *hic* great time, and *hic* I'm about to have a greater time with you~" Scourge said. Amy's jaw dropped. Was he flirting with her?! At a time like this?! Amy resisted the urge to strike at him, since she kept her composure. She knelt down, and picked Scourge up, almost like in the piggyback position. All of that carrying of her trusty Piko Piko Hammer really paid off, as carrying Scourge back to her home seemed like a breeze for her.
"...Ok Scourge, you're coming home with me so I can take care of you so you can feel better, ok?" Amy said to him gently, she felt the soft, slow breaths of Scourge, which she was keeping an eye just in case.
"Oh I'll feel better at your place~" He flirted. It was moments like this where Amy was deciding on just leaving him on the curb.
Thankfully though, it still wasn't that far of a walk. With Scourge tightly clinging on Amy, she was able to open up the door without disturbing him.
"We're home now!" Amy cheerfully said. Scourge looked around with the same drunk smile.
"Hooray...!" He managed to let it out.
Amy plopped him on the couch gently. His head was hanging as he was smiling like a dork. The pink hedgehog rolled her eyes in a sort of playful way.
"Oh Scourge... what happened to you...?" Amy asked herself quietly as she analyzed the green hedgehog. She saw that his jacket had been in a worse state, and his eyes looked like they had been puffy from crying too much, but that's preposterous! Scourge the Hedgehog doesn't cry, does he?
"...You're a lot prettier than that other pink hedgehog... wanna make out?" Scourge asked with a smile. Amy gave him a light slap. Scourge smiled even more.
"Heh, and a lot kinkier too-" Scourge flashed a smile before he was being greeted by another smack. Amy sighed heavily.
"...Ok, look-" Amy was interrupted, as the green hedgehog lunged forward.
"...*hic* How about I get you out of that dress?" Scourge asked again.
"...For the last time, no-" Amy was interrupted as Scourge... threw up all over Amy, making her scream not too loud to alarm others, but she was obviously disgusted.
"Heh, *hic*, looks like you do need to *hic* get out of it after all!" The Mean Green said with a slight chuckle.
Amy gripped hard on Scourge's shoulders. "...No one would blame if I left him outside to suffer in the cold, right?" Amy asked through gritted teeth.
"...Now then, how about I-" Scourge managed to let out before he passed out again. Amy blinked before she let out a heavy sigh.
"...I have to change, but this PERV is here, he better not be faking this!" Amy said tensely. Upon saying that, Scourge didn't respond.
"...Ok... I guess that confirms my suspicions..." Amy said as she went to quickly change into pajamas. It was a white long sleeve and pants with small pink hearts on it.
"...Man, he's knocked out loud!" Amy exclaimed, as she lifted up Scourge's face to see him snoozing. She got a spare blanket and wrapped it around him, making sure he was all warm and nice.
"...I should sleep, yet... he's still very drunk, what if he chokes on his own vomit? What if he dies of potential alcohol poisoning?!" Amy asked her quietly, as she internally panicked in her head, as the sounds of Scourge snoring rang in her mind.
"...He does look cozy... perhaps I should watch over him?" Amy said, before she frowned. "No, that would never work, he and I are mortal enemies! He practically hates me!" She exclaimed, as she checked his temperature. He felt a little warm, but at least it was better than him being cold.
"Still though... I can't shake off the feeling that something happened to him, but I wonder what?" She asked her quietly, as she looked at him.
Soon Amy yawned, and her eyelids were getting droopy. She decided to rest her head on the end of the couch where his head was. With that, she too went fast asleep.
