A/N: Watch as I ruin the initial vibe of this fic by making it end up so depressing... cos I'm a Tycoon 😃
"This is the world you lived in, so make sure that you find your own happiness..."
Occasionally, at random odd times in the day... Keiwa will find himself suddenly overcome with emotions to the point that he feels a sudden urge to want to cry, yet he has no explanation to give anyone as to why he couldn't help feeling that way. It got to a point that almost everyone around him was aware of it; not just his older sister, his manager and co-workers... his ever-growing legions of fans and even random strangers he encountered from across the street! As much as it troubled him to have so many people worry about him, Keiwa couldn't make himself snap out of these unexpected bouts of melancholy...
But if there was anything that he could really say with absolute certainty was this one thing...
There was someone out there that his heart still desperately wanted to meet again.
Someone very important. Someone whom his one heart still dearly missed every second of the day. And his heart never stopped wishing for the day when he would be able to be reunited with that person once more...

"Ne, Keiwa... let's go out together somewhere?"
Out of the blue, his sister Sara had asked him to accompany her to go to someplace. It was a small shrine that was quite hidden and unknown, yet there were growing talks among the locals about how anyone who made their wishes there had been able to find something that allowed them to become happy again. At first, Keiwa had been so sceptic as to how going to any certain shrine could make any difference to how his heart had been feeling... but for the sake of his sister, he ended up going along with her random suggestion...
He never thought that the moment he stepped foot into that one Inari shrine, he ended up being washed with a strange sense of... nostalgia. It was as if he had come back towards a place filled with fond memories... as well as a place where he'd always be welcomed.
A place where he could truly call... his home.
.
The moment he sensed Keiwa's presence coming so close towards him, Ace turned around to greet the incoming visitor. And as much as the other had not been able to see him as he could see Keiwa so clearly, Ace let out a fond smile as both of their hearts resonated with each other... finding comfort in each other's presence.
For those voices crying out there, with nowhere to let themselves be heard,
If I could offer my hand, I won't hesitate, I'll give it all I have!
World Peace.
Somehow, when his sister suggested to him that he write a wish on an ema tablet and hang it at the shrine, that was the only thing that crossed his mind on what to write. World Peace, because THAT was the only wish that made sense. Seriously, he couldn't think of anything else that he should wish for... was it that strange?
In the end, it was his sister who ended up writing a wish to ask for his happiness on her own ema tablet. Well, it wasn't the only wish she wrote down, but that's his sister all right.

Whenever you're at the lowest... or when things appeared fine,
Just laugh and then move on... ha ha ha!
Let all come together, ideals and your dreams,
Bid time so that one day you can seize it all~
By now it had been a year—well, almost, since there was at least a gap of about 2-3 months of Keiwa being missing that Keiwa himself didn't remember about and no one had any idea of what happened to him during that time period—since Keiwa made his debut properly as an idol at his company. And to celebrate that achievement, it was decided that Keiwa would have his first solo concert at one of the biggest stadiums in Tokyo. And while it had been a very ambitious move to have the concert at such a big venue, in the end, it turned out to be a very good investment as the tickets were sold out within a short time.
On the day of the concert, Keiwa started feeling the pressure to perform well for his first concert. But the worries seemed unwarranted as Keiwa seemed to be able to keep his nervousness in control during his rehearsals. And as expected, that night... the concert went on very smoothly. Since he was still quite new in this idol business, there weren't a lot of original songs in his itinerary... almost half of them had been covers, while the rest had been songs from the time when he was in an idol group as well as his debut song. But that didn't deter his fans and audience from enjoying his concert, in fact, they asked for an encore. So he thought of wrapping it all with some ballad songs, and the suggestion was met with rousing applause.
It was still fine when he had been singing Izanagi, even when the lyrics ended up sounding even more sorrowful when sung as a ballad. But then as he was in the midst of singing I, Peace... aka his debut song, without warning he ended up bursting into unstoppable tears...
Until that future is in our hands,
Let's help each other hand in hand, every day throughout our lives!
Don't let anyone take them from you, chase that piece of happiness... inside your heart—
Watch I'm a Tycoon!
Keiwa let himself collapse onto the bed of his hotel room after he was done with his concert. Thankfully, everything ended well for his first concert debut. However, he did end up alarming some of the staff members and fans when he started bawling on stage.
Keiwa continued burying himself inside the covers of his bed without bothering to change out of his performance outfit. Because he no longer had the strength to deal with anything else tonight. Earlier, during his last song... he was suddenly hit with an unexplained amount of sorrowful emotions. It led to him bursting out in tears on stage, something that even caught him by surprise. And to think that initially, the concert idea was his manager's way of trying to cheer him up from his recent bouts of melancholy. Guess THAT plan didn't turn out as intended...
.
Keiwa couldn't seem to get himself to remember—the memories of his senior idol who had been responsible for his debut as an idol. And for some reason, even the people in his company seemed to act as if they had no recollection of having that same senior be part of the talents of his company.
But that didn't make any sense, because he could vaguely remember the senior idol being part of his initial journey into becoming an idol. How could his memories be wrong?
Was he... losing his mind?

Someone... was calling for him...
Had Keiwa been crying by himself?
Ace stepped into the bedroom quietly, without making a sound. He slowly approached the bed, where someone was still in deep sleep—Or so he thought, before coming closer and looking at the state of the person.
Keiwa had looked pretty sickly—it was as if the young man had been crying himself to sleep. Ace placed a hand on Keiwa's forehead and gasped as he found out that Keiwa's body was burning up. Keiwa was running a high fever!
Right away the fox deity scrambled around to try to treat the sick tanuki...
.
"Ace..."
Ace froze as Keiwa suddenly started calling out his name while still in a delirious state. It startled him... since he should've made everyone forget about him, which should've included Keiwa. Yet...
Earlier, he had changed Keiwa's clothes into a pair of fresh pyjamas. And he had tried his best to lower Keiwa's body temperature and ease up the fever the other person was having. He sighed to himself.
Keiwa should've taken better care of himself...
.
"Liar..."
Ace continued staring at Keiwa in surprise as the former tanuki rider opened his eyes and stared at him. Though it still seemed that Keiwa wasn't fully awake yet.
"You said that we'll always be together... you said that we'd do this together. So why did you leave me... Ace..."
A stray tear fell down Keiwa's cheek as Ace wiped it away gently before leaning over and kissing Keiwa's cheek over and over.
"I'm sorry..." he started to say before straightening up to leave. He had overstayed his welcome for too long already, after all. But suddenly, Keiwa sat up from his bed and grabbed Ace's arm.
"No... I won't let you leave. Don't leave me alone again, Ace!" cried Keiwa before pulling on Ace's arm to get the other man to fall back on the bed and trapping Ace into a tight embrace.
The fox deity... wasn't going to leave Keiwa's side anytime soon.

The sun's rays shone brightly on his face as Keiwa woke up alone in his hotel room. Keiwa sat up on the bed groggily, his pyjama shirt hung loosely over his body as it was the only piece of clothing that remained on his body. He ran a hand over his bare bottom before smiling wistfully to himself.
.
Last night, he had the nicest of dreams after a very long time. Someone he dearly missed had come to visit him... and embraced him with love after being apart for so long. Was that really just a simple dream?
Keiwa stared blankly at his bare legs before hastily grabbing the nearby bed cover to cover himself. Did that person really come to him last night and spend the night with him by his side?
It wasn't just a dream, it wasn't... right? That person was here last night. And come to think of it, he hadn't spared a moment to change out of his outfit after returning to his room. Yet now he was clad in a clean pyjama... sans pants and underwear regardless.
Keiwa looked down at his other hand which seemed to have been clutching on something while he was still asleep. He slowly opened up his palm before a small cylindrical object fell onto his lap.
It was his core ID. Tycoon's core ID.
Keiwa smiled fondly as the sight of the core ID somehow soothed the turbulent emotions in his heart that had been raging inside of him for a few months.
Thank you... Ace. For coming back to me...
Regardless, Keiwa started to pout again.
Ace should've waited for him to wake up first before taking his leave.
