I could not believe this? What is he doing here? How did he find me? I didn't even have time to ask when Raph opened the cell and wrapped me in a hug which was surprising since Raph isn't a huger. He pulled away and checked me over. "Karai, are you ok? What happened?"

"How did you find me?" I ask, ignoring his question.

"Donnie built a tracking device in one of your earrings, remember?" He said and I touched one of my earrings that had a little tiny blue dot on it. "Oh, right, but what are you doing here?"

"I went on Donnie's computer to check to see if you made it to the farmhouse but when I saw you weren't there, I immediately took the party wagon and tracked you here." He explained. "I thought you were taken by that stupid worm, fish, bird-thing, I was not expecting mutant rats."

I chuckled. "Yeah, it's a long and crazy story."

Raph took my arm. "Come on, let's get out of here before we get caught." He tried to pull my arm but I pulled back. "Wait, Raph, there's something that I need to tell you."

He pulled my arm again. "Can't it wait?!" I once again pulled back. "Uh..no, it really can't!"

We both stopped when we heard whistling coming this way. I immediately closed the cell, making sure not to lock it. Raph hid under the bed and I put my hood back on before laying on top of the bed, pretending to be sleeping. The soldier came and glanced inside my cell then continued on his way.

I sat up and pulled my hood back down. "That was close." I said, relieved. Raph then came out and gave me a displeasing look. "Ok, what the hell is going on?! These guys captured you, who knows what they want with you?!"

"Actually, I let them capture me." I corrected.

"Why?!" Raph exclaimed and I sighed. "...You might want to sit down..."

And just like that, I told Raph everything. I told him about all my crazy dreams but most importantly I told him about Hamato Yuuta visiting me and telling me Father was alive. I then told him about the RatKing and his plan.

Raph's eyes were wide and watery, I couldn't even tell if he was hearing me anymore. "Raph? Are you ok?"

"..H-He's alive?...but-but how?" He asked with a stutter. "The RatKing made it look like he was dead but really he was in a coma." I answered, gripping my fist in anger.

"B-But I saw him get stabbed in the chest with my own eyes! How can you fake that?!"

I shook my head. "I have no idea."

Raph leaned his back against the wall with his eyes still wide. "...He was alive the whole time and we didn't even know. He's been here, working and getting treated like a dog all year?!"

He growled and punched the wall. "I'm gonna kill that RatKing! I can't believe this, I thought Splinter finished him off for good!"

I went to him and put a hand on his shoulder. "I don't understand it either, Raph but don't worry, we're going to stop him and get dad out of here, I promise."

Raph sighed. "So, what's the plan?"

I thought for a moment, my original plan was to fight whoever took father and get him out of here. An easy and simple plan but that was ruined when more problems got added to this mission. I thought for a few more moments before I finally came up with something.

I smiled mischievously at Raph. "...I got an idea."

Raph eyes widened a bit, looking a bit fearful. "I'm not going to like this, am I?"

...

SPLINTER'S P.O.V

In my cell I sat in my meditation position and focused my mind to go to the spirit plane. When I got there I then focused my mind to think of Leonardo and after a few moments I was in the city.

I was expecting to be in the lair but instead I was in an alley. I looked inside and my eyes widened upon what I saw. My son, my most responsible and cold-headed son, was sitting on top of a garbage can, drinking beer with a couple of punk looking teenage boys.

The purple mohawk haired boy laughed. "Hey, Leo! What would your old man say if he saw you drinking beer?!"

Leo sighed, with a dull look on his face. "Who cares, he's dead. Thanks to Shredder. Ever since that asshole killed him I lost everything! I'm not even a leader anymore!"

My ears dropped. "...Leonardo..." I almost choked.

The black spiky haired kid with red highlights snatched the beer from him and took a sip. "Ah, don't worry about it! Who knows, maybe you will be leader again."

Tsk* "Thanks Lloyd but I doubt it. You know what, though? I'm actually glad that I'm not leader anymore! I mean, it's already stressful enough providing for my family all by myself and keeping them safe in a world that doesn't accept us for who we are!...Honestly, I don't know how the hell my father did it for sixteen years..."

I had enough. "Leonardo!" I called but he didn't seem to hear me. "Leonardo, look at me, my son!"

He didn't hear me, he didn't even glance my way. Leonardo's spirit, it is breaking, that's why I can't reach him. "Oh, my son, what have you been through since I was gone?"

"Well, that's why you're taking my sister and leaving the city, right?" Lloyd said.

My eyes widened. Leaving the city? Without your family? "Leonardo, how could you do such a thing?! How could you abandon your family?!"

Leo sighed. "...Yeah."

"Lloyd! Cole!" A voice called and a lizard woman appeared.

"Who is that?" I wondered.

"Can you two give me and Leo some time alone?" She asked. Cole smirked. "Why? Are you two going to make out?"He teased and started making kissy faces. The lizard woman punched him. "Leave now before I punch out your teeth!"

The boys chuckled nervously before dashing out the alley. I looked back at my son and this girl. I narrowed my eyes on her. "Is she the reason why you want to abandon your family?"

"Liz? What are you doing here?" Leo asked and Liz crossed her arms. "Looking for you! Did you know that Raph left without saying where he was going?!"

Leo shrugged. "Yeah, he told me and the others that he had to go somewhere important."

Liz glared at him. "And you didn't ask where that 'somewhere' is?! He's your brother Leo, aren't you worried?!"

Leo glanced to the side. "...Raph isn't the hot-tempered and reckless turtle he used to be. He's fine, trust me."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It wasn't the girl at all, she was actually trying to get him to worry but he looked as though he could care less. Even though Leonardo trusted his brothers to look after themselves, he still worried about them. Leonardo has always been the kind of boy who put family before himself, before anything. Now, he has grown careless and selfish.

Liz looked like she was ready to snap at him but she sighed in defeat. "You know why I decided to stay in the lair with you after I was healed?"

Leo looked at her.

"It's because I liked you, I still do. From the first moment we met I felt a connection between us. I know it's cheesy and stupid but as much as I wanted to leave and as much as I hated your bossy attitude...I-I really wanted to see where this could go..."

Leo's head lifted up a little.

"Then you asked me out and I said no when I really wanted to say yes. I told you that I wasn't ready and you accepted it and we decided to take things slow until I was ready. I really want to be ready Leo, I really want us to work. I like you a whole lot but-

"That's why we're leaving, Liz! So it can just be the two of us and no one will get in our way!" Leo interrupted.

Liz looked down sadly and her eyes were glassy. "...Is that why we're leaving Leo or is it because you want to run away from your problems?"

Leo's eyes widen slightly.

"I think I know why I am attracted to you because you have a darkness that is slowly growing inside you, a darkness I know all too well. Since day one I sensed it and I thought I could help you but..." She then looked at him, a lock of her brown hair between her sad eyes. "I can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped. I'm sorry, Leo but...I can't go through this again. I had enough disappointments in my life." She turned her back to him. " Let me know when you're ready to make a change."

Leo jumped off the garbage can. "Elizabeth, wait!" He called but she was gone.

Leo looked down and growled. I watched as my son started stomping out of the alley and I went in front of him, hoping he would see me. "Leonar-

But Leonardo literally walked right through me. I watched him leave and sighed. "My son, you have not lost everything but if you continue on this path you will."

I felt myself begin to fade away and I was back in my cell. I covered my teary eyes and exhaled. "Why, why did this have to happen? What did I do to deserve this, what did they do to deserve this?"

I laied in my uncomfortable bed and cried myself to sleep. Praying for someone, some miracle to help me and my family.
