Chapter 6
I bet this time of night you're still up.
Tired from a long hard week.
I bet sometimes you wonder about me.
"Anything else i can get for the two of you?" The waiter asked. As he made his way towards the table.
Brooke laughed. Turning her haze towards the waiter.
"Everything was amazing as always." She replied.
"Nothing at all. Thank you." Lucas said. Handing the waiter 100 dollars which had nothing to do with the bill.
The young man's eyes went wide. He smiled shyly. Thanking Lucas.
"Maybe i'm being overprotective. I just remember everything we were doing at his age. You think you're going to live forever and nothing can hurt you." Brooke explained.
"That's true. But Keith is smart sensible and responsible."
"And has parents who he can go too. This isn't history repeating itself." Lucas stated matter of fact.
"Since you brought up whether or not i would care if you brought a date. I wouldn't. Me and you will never really be over."
"I know that and so do you." Lucas proclaimed.
"I should really go. I'll see you at the party." Brooke replied.
Days Later
"You look beautiful momma." Sadie said.
Brooke smiled warmly. "No more raiding my closet. And thank you." She replied.
"I know you've been looking forward to spending some quality time with you're brothers."
"Aunt Haley and uncle Nathan's party will run late. We'll bring leftovers. The three of you have fun." Brooke added in.

Brooke and Lucas seperately made their way over to the party.
