Lucas slammed the front door. As he entered into the entryway and made his way into the living room.
Throwing his laptop onto the nearby living room chair.
Brooke came down the stairs and went over to the living room.
His gaze landing on her husband.
She walked over to where he was seated. Wrapping her arms around him.
"Things are going to work out. I have all the faith and belief in you."
"I know rejection is hard to take. And you've had alot of doors slammed in yuo're face and false starts."
"But i know without a doubt in mund. You're time is coming."
"This is the career you're meant for." Brooke said. Wanting to reassure him.
"You don't anything about what this is like. You have you're family name to fall back on. You had you're clothes in store display windows."
"Just stop trying to connect. Leave me alone." Lucas replied.
Getting up from where he was seated.
Clothes Over Bros
"I saw you and Lucas leave together. What did the two of you get into.?" Rachel asked.
"Please tell me you didn't come over here just to ask about that." Brooke replied.
"I didn't. But i'm waiting for you to answer my question."
"So don't freak out about this. But i think you should know." Rachel said.
"What about.?" Brooke asked.
"Matilda told me she wants to get on birth control."
"Which really surprised me but then again. Her and Keith have been together since freshman year. You remember what it was like being that age. First love and all that." Rachel explained.

Awhile Later
"You need to talk to Keith. Soon." Brooke said. When she entered Lucas's office.
Lucas stopped typing. And looked to her.
"What's going on with him.?" Lucas asked.
"Hold my meeting with the writing team thank you." Lucas announced to his receptionist.
Brooke sighed deeply. "According to Rachel. There's been talk about birth control. Which means they must thinking about having sex."
"And we need to know where his mind and thoughts about this." She explained.
"I'll talk to him. But if they are talking about this and planning to take that step then. We should be relieved that they are being smart and responsible." Lucas replied.

Brooke got inside her car and buckled her seatbelt.
When her cellphone started to ring. She picked it up right away.
When she saw it was the Elementary school. She put the phone to her ear.
It was the school nurse. Asking if i wanted to pick up Sadie.
When i asked what was going on. She explained.
And i made it clear i would be right over.
...
I made my way to the elementary school. And parked right in front.
I smiled warmly at the sight of her. As she entered the passenger seat.
"I think we should make a day out of it. Lunch. Then we'll go to the drug store. And get the supplies you need."
"Getting you're period is a big step. It's a milestone us girls go through. I want you to come to me with any questions or thoughts you have." Brooke explained.
