Her eyes locked on his.
"Lucas. Did i tell you i was coming here.?" Brooke asked.
"No. I come here during my lunch breaks and whenever i work late." Lucas replied.
"Dad you should come sit with us." Robert suggested.
"You're mom wanted this night to be about catching up."
"I'm not going to intrude on that." Lucas replied.
"You're not in the way. There's an empty chair right here." Keith said.
"You should join us. We just ordered. We would just need another menu." Brooke said.
"Sure." Lucas replied.
Once Lucas placed his order and the meals eventually made their way to the table.
The boys had the conversation going. Brooke and Lucas kept things light on their end.
But eventually the time together came to an end.
Keith announced he would drive his mom's car home.
"I'll make sure she get's home soon. I loved spending time with my boys. Thank you." Lucas said.
Robert and Keith hugged their dad before Brooke passed Keith the keys.
"Let me know when you get home." Brooke said.
Keith nodded his head in agreement. As the brothers left.

"We should talk. We left things in a weird place last time we were alone." Lucas said.
"You're right. And i think we've avoided it long enough." Brooke replied. As he parked the car in the driveway of the home.
"I didn't want to be you're obligation. You're responsibility."
"I loved you. But getting married shouldn't of happened."
"We were so young. The love we had was real." Brooke said. Tears welling up in her eyes.
"I wanted a family. Something strong and stable."
"I didn't want to get left behind. But in the end i held you back."
"I was jealous that you're success came so soon. So easily." Lucas admitted.
