"My name is Kazu. You might not believe me, but I swear this actually happened. I'm just not sure if I should be happy or freaked."

"I was out partying with my friends one night. I didn't drink too much, so I was able to drive myself home. While I was driving home, I saw a woman with long blonde hair in a beautiful white dress and scarf. I've got to admit that I was crushing on her the minute I saw her. When I pulled over, she walked over to my car."

"Excuse me, but could you please help me?" The lady asked.

Kazu was driving around and was met with a beautiful woman. He really liked what he saw with her. Once he pulled up to her, he came over to her and asked for a lift.

"No way I was going to pass an opportunity like this, and she looked like a decent girl. Of course I said yes and she jumped in. As I was driving, I tried to know her more."

"My name is Kazu. What's your name?"

"Mary Elizabeth, but everyone just calls me Mary."

"So, what do you do?" Kazu asked.

"I loved playing with dolls and would have liked to work at a toy factory making my own toys." Mary said. "I also loved to dance, but I sadly can't dance anymore."

"What do you mean? Some sort of injury or something?" Kazu asked.

"Something like that." Mary claimed.

Through the whole drive Kazu tried getting to know her. She seemed like a nice girl and Kazu enjoyed being around her.

"I asked Mary where I can drop her off. She told me what she really needed was a place to stay for the night. I asked her why, but all she told me was that she couldn't go home. Maybe it didn't seem like a good idea, but I was a guy with a pretty girl and was hoping to get lucky. That's why I offered her to stay at my place. She seemed really glad about that."

Kazu felt like his luck was improving as he was told Mary needed a place to rest. He offered her to stay with him and she accepted.

Kazu's Home

"We arrived at my home. I was expecting her just to go to sleep, but she stayed awake. I decided to stay awake with her. I figured she had one hell of a day and needed something to help her feel comfortable and unwind. I grabbed ourselves a couple beers and the two of us got to talking."

Kazu felt like his luck and chances were really improving. Arriving at his home, the two of them got comfortable and started talking with a few drinks.

"The two of us spent some time talking and I was really starting to like her. I think she was starting to like me as well. We had a few drinks and it helped her relax. I almost couldn't believe my luck that something like this actually happened to me. I couldn't believe it even more because she actually kissed me. Jackpot! It only escalated from there as we took this to our bedroom."

Mary and Kazu were talking and were enjoying their time together. Kazu thought things were going well. To his surprise that his fantasy happened, Mary actually kissed him. Not stopping there, the two of them moved to the bedroom and disrobed each other. Kazu felt like this was the luckiest night of his life.

The Next Morning

"When I woke up the next day, Mary was already gone. I looked around, but there was no sign of her anywhere. That was too bad because that was one of the greatest moment I had with any girl. The only thing I found was her scarf and a piece of paper with what appeared to be her address on it. I felt like I really scored with someone like her and I did want to see her again. I just thought she left her scarf on purpose as an excuse for me to come see her."

Kazu woke up and saw no sign of Mary. He was sad about that, but he did find her scarf and now knows where she lives. He really wanted to see her again and that's what he was planning to do.

"I went to the address that Mary left for me to return her scarf. When I got there, an older woman that I assumed was Mary's mother. I told her I met with Mary last night and I wanted to return her scarf. Seeing that greatly shocked her mother and she called for her husband. When he showed up, he seemed just as surprised about the whole thing."

Kazu arrived at Mary's home and met her parents, but they were shocked about Kazu saying that he wanted to return Mary's scarf. Kazu didn't understand. The mother even seemed like she was going to cry.

"They invited me in and told me the truth. Mary died over a year ago. They told me that Mary was kidnapped and they soon found her body. This unreal to me. If Mary was dead, who was I with last night. I know for fact I was with someone last night. There were traces that I had someone at my place."

Mary's parents told Kazu the truth that Mary was dead. He almost couldn't believe it. If she was dead, what happened with him last night?

"I needed to know if it was Mary I was with last night. They showed me a photo of her and it was the same girl I was with. She even wore the same scarf I had with me. This was unbelievable to me. Did I sleep with a ghost last night? I returned the scarf because they just knew it was Mary's and returning it to them was the right thing. After that, I peacefully left them and just went on with my day, but I still can't get over it."

That was quite a story Kazu was told. He knew for a fact now that this was Mary's home, but that meant he was with a ghost. After returning the scarf, Kazu left Mary's parents. He just went on with his day after that, but the fact he slept with a ghost still haunted his mind.

"I couldn't get over the fact that I was with a ghost last night. I'm not sure I even believe in ghosts. All I know is that I was with someone I thought was great last night, but now I'm hearing she's dead. After that, I actually started attending a church just to pray Mary has peace."

Kazu did just that. He was at a church and actually prayed for Mary, but Mary hasn't quite left him. She's still staying close to him. It's actually rather sad. Both of them found someone they liked being with, but poor Mary is a ghost and can't fully be with him. At least she can still stay close to him.
