Somehow, someway the family madrigal managed to survive pepa's breakfast, we see the adults drinking there smoothies trying to wash the taste out of there mouths*
Alma: Luisa go find mirabel and Dolores, they left before I could give out the chores of the day
Luisa:yes abuela, knowing Mirabel she probably took Dolores to Miguel's bakery
Pepa:a bakery? Was she still hungry? She should've said so I would've given her more food
Pepa said concerned for her daughter and niece even if she was the reason they almost died. Luisa just gave an awkward shrug as a response and quickly walked out of casita*
Alma:Camilo help you're aunt with the dishes I need to talk with you're parents about a serious matter
Camilo wanted to whine but the look alma gave him was enough to shut him up, she quickly went with Julieta to do the dishes*
Alma: Agustin take Antonio with you to wake up Isabela her punishment begins today I won't have her oversleep
Agustin:si alma come on Antonio
Antonio huffed and walked behind agusting with a small pout and his arms crossed*
Antonio"why didn't Mirabel take me with her? Stupid Dolores..."
Antonio thought with as much bitterness a 4 year old could muster, even if the reason she didn't take him was that he was busy faking being knocked out. Once alone Felix and Pepa looked at alma*
Pepa:what's going on mama?
Alma:it's about your child more specifically it's about Camilo and his behavior
A cloud started to appear on top of Pepa, alma had to fight not to say "Pepa you're cloud"*
Felix:what about Camilo? What prank did he get caught doing now?
Felix asked thinking it wasn't anything serious, alma sighed drumming her fingers on the table*
Alma:he has been caught bullying and harassing Mirabel
alma expected them to be shocked but what alma saw shocked her, they didn't look surprised at all, which made alma frown deeply*
Alma:you already knew didn't you
Felix:I mean it's just a friendly teasing it's really not that bad
Alma:it's bad enough that Luisa has to protect Mirabel from him and Isabela, it's bad enough that her teacher told me about it. You both knew this and kept quiet about it?!
Alma said raising her voice becoming increasingly madder. Pepa scratch her cheek and looked the other way,
Pepa:we just thought it isn't that big of deal, I mean me and Julieta would get in to fights all the time and we're fine
Alma:pepa there's a difference between siblings fighting and what Camilo has been doing, how dare you both keep this from me?! If the situation was reversed would you be acting the same way? If Mirabel was bullying Camilo would you just let it happened because Mirabel was just "playing?"
Alma said with a cold glare at the two parents who had different expressions on there faces, Pepa looked as if she sucked a sour lemon, and felix looked troubled, not because of what they hid but because they got caught*
Felix:I don't know what you want us to say alma, it's clearly just a difference in opinion
Alma:well for one, Camilo will be severely punished, along with Isabela. Both of them has been harming a member of the family and that can't go unpunished. Two neither you or pepa will be involve in the punishment since you've showed that you can't be unbiased when it comes to you're children
Julieta walked in to the room with a cup of tea giving it to pepa*
Julieta:i saw the clouds outside is everything alright here?
Felix:everything is fine it's everybody is making a Big deal about nothing
Alma;oh so you wouldn't mind if I told Julieta that you both knew what Camilo has been doing?
Alma glanced at Julieta who's whole body began to tremble with fury*
Flashback
Julieta was doing the arepas for the town when the door opened she looked and was horrified seeing her child bleeding*
Julieta:amor what happened?!
Julieta quickly gave an arepa to Mirabel who just forced a smile as she ate the arepa her body quickly healing*
Mirabel:it's nothing Mami, I just fell for one of camilo's pranks, it's nothing he was just playing around
Mirabel quickly made her way to the nursery before her mother could ask any more questions, Julieta was about to go up there and question her when Isabela and alma walked in*
Alma: Julieta quickly give Isabela some food! Her perfect skin is in danger of being ruined!
alma said showing that Isabela scratched herself*
Julieta;there's some food on the table, but mama Mirabel...
Alma;Mirabel can wait! This is more important, honestly Julieta get you're priorities straight!
Alma said in a mixed of harshness and disappointment. Julieta sighed and made some fresh food for Isabela*
Scene change
Julieta was at her stand with a forced smile as the local drunks came and took her food to cure there hangover, Julieta eyes widen when Mirabel was next on the line with a black eye and some blood coming down her face*
Julieta:amor what happened? You're eye!
Mirabel:it...it was nothing, Camilo and his friends invited me to play with them, but they play kinda hard
That was a lie, Julieta knew it was a lie, she knew that Mirabel knew that she knew it was a lie. But Mirabel just grabbed and arepa and left before Julieta could question her*
Julieta; Mirabel hold on a minute...
Duncan:hey wheresh the food?!
One of the local drunks said as he pushed another drunk, Julieta had to ignore the disappearing image that was her daughter and stop the fight*
Scene change
Julieta was walking upstairs to look for the family's Camara when she heard crying, her motherly instincts kicked in and she went to the nursery, she cracked opened the door*
Julieta:Mirabel?
Julieta said softly, Mirabel flinched and quickly dried her tears, Julieta opened the door more and let herself in*
Julieta:amor what's wrong? Why were...
Julietas eyes widen as the new dress Mirabel was so exited to wear, the one that took her months to make for a family photo was ruined, the dress and Mirabel herself was covered in something red that Julieta prayed was tomato juice*
Julieta: cariño who did this?!
Julieta asked her worry quickly transformed in to anger but Mirabel forced that smile that Julieta hated so much and waved her hand dismissively*
Mirabel:it's nothing Mami, camilo's pranks just went to far this time but I'm fine I promise
Mirabel said her voice horsed god only knows how long she's been crying alone in this room, just as Julieta was making her way to her daughter*
Alma:Julieta the Camara!
Both heard alma screaming from downstairs, Mirabel got up and softly pushed Julieta out of the room*
Mirabel: I'll be fine Mami, go give abuela the Camara I'll change in to something else
Julieta:but mira...
Mirabel just ignored her and closed the door on her own mother*
Present
Julieta;you knew... my baby was being bullied and you knew?
Julieta said softly her tone devoid of emotions, pepa raised her hands with an awkward smile*
Pepa:come on Julieta it was just some pranks it isn't as bad as it sou...
that was the last thing pepa could say before Julieta jumped her and managed to punch Pepa 3 times before they reached the ground*
Meanwhile with luisa
She made it to the bakery and opened the door hearing the all familiar jingle*
Miguel;ah Luisa welcome, welcome please come in. Mirabel and Dolores are at the table on the end on you're right
Luisa;thanks Mr. Santos
Luisa said kindly as she walked to the corner and saw Mirabel and Dolores talking*
Luisa;hey girls, abuela wants us back at the house for the chores
Dolores winced and gave Luisa an bit of a knowing smile*
Dolores:yeah, believe me there's no rush. Sit down and have some coffee and donuts with us
Luisa:what do you mean there's no rush?
Luisa said sitting down, a waitress came and filled a cup of coffee for Luisa who grabbed it*
Dolores;well right now aunty Julieta is busy punching my mother while there respected spouses try to stop them
Luisa and Mirabel eyes both goes as wide as can be as they looked at Dolores for an explanation. Dolores sipped her coffee and shrugged*
Dolores: apparently mom knew just how bad things has gotten with Camilo and what he was doing to Mirabel but didn't do anything
Luisa:she what?!
Luisa slammed her fist on the table cracking it. Luisa was seething right now not caring that she'll have to pay for a new table later on. Mirabel and Dolores winced for different reasons*
Mirabel:Luisa control yourself you know Dolores ears are sensitive
Mirabel reprimanded Luisa who somewat calmed down but still had a small frown on her face. Dolores gave Mirabel a smile of appreciation as she took another sip of her coffee*
Dolores:more reason to have some coffee and donuts with us it'll help you calm down
Luisa sighed and nodded the 3 woman of different ages stood there having a nice time chatting about this and that, all the while there a WWE style rumble going on in Casita right now*
