Luisa said in a nervous tone as she walked inside with Dolores and Mirabel behind her. Alma:Camilo and Isabela both of you will be taking over one of Luisa's jobs until further notice
Luisa, Mirabel, Isabela and Camilo looked at alma confused, Dolores couldn't help but let a smirk grace her lips*
Alma:I want you both to collect the donkeys when and if they get out. And clean after them that will be you're punishment for everything you've done
Camilo and Isabela;what?!!

Luisa:so there was no problem when I did something like that? P.S. I would get a pair of gloves and use an old dress since that pink one will be ruined

Alma:my decision is final. After all the things both of you have cause to members of this family this is the least you can do. It's time both of you see just how easy you've had it. Mirabel please take Antonio with his friends today when you leave with Dolores

Before alma could continue a knock on the door was heard alma and the rest looked*
Mariano:good morning family madrigal
Dolores flinched and felt Mirabel's hand on her leg for support. Dolores placed her hand on tops of Mirabel's and holds it, they intertwined there hands as Mirabel gave Dolores a sympathetic smile. Dolores just gave a sad smile and looked down at the table*
Alma:Mariano? What are you doing here so early?
Mariano:ah, well I actually came to see Isabela. I wanted to take her out today to the local pond so that she can hear the new poems I've made of her
Mariano said walking deeper inside standing behind Isabela and putting his hands on her shoulder. Isabela for the first time actually gave a genuine smile when It came with Mariano, as she thought she was saved. Alma sighed and forced a smile on her face*
Alma:I see, very well you two can go there at noon, if Isabela finishes her new chore I'm time, If not I'm afraid you'll have to give her those poems another time
Mariano:very well I look forward to noon, until then mi amada. I shall await for you with baited breaths
Mariano said as he gave a kiss to isabela's cheek and started walking away when he stopped and looked at Mirabel*
Mariano:oh, i almost forgot the other reason I came here

Alma said kinda annoyed that the "perfect" man couldn't take a hint or sense the tension in the room*

Mariano chuckled as him and Mirabel started to playfully bicker about who's the better singer, overall just acting like friends, two very clearly theater kids friends. Both didn't noticed how there conversation lifted the mood of the place quite a bit, or the look of want Dolores was giving Mariano*
Alma;alright alright, enough. You two can have a singing competition some other time for now please leave Mariano the family can't start there chores with you here
Mariano:alright I'll leave, good day to you all especially you back up singer
Mirabel gave a dramatic gasp looking at Mariano as if he slapped her. Mariano laughed and walked away. Mirabel huffed and looked back at the table miffed mumbling something only Dolores and her super hearing could understand. It made her snicker*
Dolores:that's not a very nice thing to say mira
Mirabel:it's true thought I'm not the one who forgot there line that one time the amateur
Mirabel said with another huff that made her parents look at her amused, even alma was slightly amused*
Alma:alright where was I?
Mirabel:telling Camilo and Isabela there new chore/punishment. I think you finished
Alma; right right. Then let's go familia madrigal

The rest of the family cheered as they got up and went there separate ways. Antonio was on mirabel's arms with parce on the right of Mirabel and Dolores on her left*
Dolores:you know having your own little security guard is kinda unfair
Mirabel:huh? What are you talking about?
Dolores:oh come on, you're telling me parce doesn't look like he would maul and kill somebody that gets close to you?
Dolores said amused Mirabel just waved her hand dismissively*
Mirabel:oh please this lazy cat only gets up if there's food in volved
Parce gave a small roar swatting Mirabel with his tail making Mirabel look at him amused*
Mirabel:you know it's true you lazy bum. Last time I needed you to carry some stuff for me you left me alone!
parce roared louder and mirabel looked at Antonio for a translation*
Antonio:he said he wasn't about to carry a bloody bear pelt on his back, he's not about to have his magnificent fur have dried out blood stains
Mirabel: magnificent fur yeah right, you're brother has better fur then you
Parce gave out a huff of pettiness and walked ahead making Mirabel snicker*
Dolores:wait, parce has a brother?
Mirabel:oh yes. You should see him, he's bigger then parce, faster then parce, has better manners then the lazy bum. And has the most beautiful black fur I've ever seen
the madrigal kids snickered at seeing the Jaguar in front of them clearly being jealous and outraged from Mirabel's playful teasing*
Dolores:maybe you can bring him home one day Toñito
Antonio:he can't, he's the protector of the forest he has a job to do unlike some people
Antonio said looking at Dolores with a hateful scorn. Mirabel and Dolores just giggled both thinking that Antonio was still talking about parce*
Mirabel:alright alright that's enough, if we keep this up the things I would have to do to get parce forgiveness will add up, last time I had to wash him, that was not a fun day
Dolores:fine fine, so what are you gonna do today?
Mirabel hummed touching her chin in thought, Dolores had to admit Mirabel looked cute like that*

Mirabel:hm, if I remember my schedule correctly I promised to help out on the local bar for a few hours after that free as a bird

Dolores:I'm serious Mirabel what are you doing in a bar so young?
Mirabel:Dolores you're making a big deal about nothing, I'm just the musical entertainment. Believe me the owner Jeanette treats me like her granddaughter and doesn't let me take a sip of alcohol or let's the drunks come near me when they've had too much to drink. Uh can you let me go please?
Dolores eyes widen when she realized what she did and she let go of Mirabel's wrist*
Dolores:s...sorry it just took me by surprise
Mirabel:it's...it's fine let's just forget it happened ok?
Mirabel said with a smile and Dolores nodded even if she could hear Mirabel's heart and how it was beating fast over Dolores's actions*
Mirabel"being grabbed like that. that was like one of those novels Luisa loves to read"
Mirabel thought with a bit of a blush as she walked ahead of Dolores a little bit embarrassed that her body is reacting this way*
