"So this is the Land of Darkness?" Sasuke looked around to see a barren wasteland with rocky terrain and enormous Gravity Dust crystals sprouting from the ground.
"It seems so Sasuke-kun." Kaguya said.
Before Sasuke and Kaguya got to the main setting, they wanted to pay Salem a visit to get a gist of her motives and prevent her from doing anything rash.
"It looks like we're not welcome here though Sasuke-kun." Kaguya smiled as she looked at the multiple Grimm spawning from the Grimm pools. It looked to be in the thousands.
Sasuke narrowed his eyes as he watched all types of Grimm charge at them. From the Ancient, Elder, and Alpha ones to the youngest.
They were a few meters from them and tried to jump at them.
Sasuke scoffed and waved his hand.
All of the Grimm stopped in their place.
Sasuke then closed his hand into a fist.
The Grimm collapsed into themselves and then deteriorated into nothing.
Kaguya giggled as she crossed her arms. "Could have gave them a chance Sasuke-kun."
Sasuke smirked. He then looked to see the Evernight Castle.
"I sense a few people and the largest energy which I assume is Salem." Sasuke said.
"Alright. Let's go Sasuke-kun." Kaguya held his hand.
Sasuke nodded and teleported them to her.
-To Salem-
Salem took a seat at her spot at the 'inner circle' table.
She smirked evilly. It seems as if Cinder and her group was finally attacking Beacon Academy. Hopefully the plan comes to fruition.
Salem was a very patient and calculated woman. It built over all the years of being immortal. It seemed all of her patience was finally worthwhile.
She was curious about something today though.
Somehow two people have entered the Land of Darkness.
This wasn't a problem as she immediately sent her Grimm to deal with them.
It was at least thousands of her Grimm, so no way these two could survive right?
That was until all of her Grimm was destroyed in a single instant.
This made her very curious and she had to forcefully bury the sense of dread that tried to build up inside her.
She watched as two people appeared inside the room.
It seems like they were there for her.
-Sasuke and Kaguya's pov-
Sasuke subtly flashed his Sharingan as he looked into the eyes of Salem.
So that's why she looked different. She jumped into the Grimm pools and doing so changed her appearance.
She also had a group of subordinates. Their objective was to create a new world order on Remnant do to the use of the four relics and the destruction of huntsman academies. They are also hunting down Maidens,as their powers are the keys to unlocking the vaults containing the relics.
Unknowingly to her subordinates, Salem actually need the relics to summon the God of Light and the God of Darkness.
They would judge humanity harshly again and would kill her, ending her immortality.
But unknowingly to Salem, they were both dead.
He almost wanted to laugh at the thought.
But damn, it seems as though he snapped Remnant ahead a lot of years.
Well no use in stalling.
"We come here to talk to you Salem." Sasuke started.
Salem narrowed her eyes at them. "Who are you both and why have you entered my domain?" Salem asked with a venomous tone.
Before Sasuke could talk, Kaguya interrupted him. "Mind your tone witch, or I will pull out your tongue and strangle you with it." She said with assurance.
Sasuke sweatdropped. Kaguya could be really violent when she wanted to be.
"Why do you want to die Salem?" Sasuke asked her bluntly.
Salem's eyes widened with surprise. She definitely didn't expect that question. "W-What??"
"I know everything about you. An immortal witch who's goal is to use the four relics to die by the God of Light and the God of Darkness to end her immortality because she wants peace." Sasuke summarized. "But unfortunately for you, both of them are dead."
Salem was shellshocked and speechless. She managed to get out a few words. "B-But h-how??" She asked unbelievably.
"I killed them. If you really want to die, I can kill you too, but I'm curious. Why haven't you found a reason to live?" Sasuke asked looking at her.
This man killed the two Gods?!
It was unbelievable.
But his eyes held no lies and she could tell by his stature that he was telling the truth.
He said that he could also kill her too.
Her peace can finally be granted.
But she thought about his question.
Why haven't she found a reason to live?
It was a genuinely interesting question.
What exactly did she have to live for?
Her beloved daughters were dead and she hated Ozma.
She been on Remnant for millennia and haven't found a reason.
Or was it that she didn't look for one?
Salem looked downcast as she asked. "...what reason would I have to live for? Have you both ever lost everything and needed a reason to keep going??"
Sasuke was about to start first, but was interrupted.
One of Salem's subordinates, Tyrian Callows, walked inside.
He looked at Sasuke and Kaguya.
"Who's the sexy bitch and pretty boy S-" Tyrian suddenly screamed with pain and agony.
Kaguya shot one of her Ash-Killing Bones at his...private area.
To add more to the damage, Sasuke infused his Amaterasu with it.
All of them watched as Tyrian ran back and forth and even tried to roll over to extinguish the flames, to no avail.
Eventually his body deteriorated into nothing but burning ash.
Kaguya crossed her arms with a huff. "I really hope everyone's not as disrespectful as him Sasuke-kun."
"I agree." Sasuke looked back at Salem, who was beyond shocked. "To answer your question, yes I do know what it's like losing everyone and feeling hopeless. To the point where yes, I also wanted to die because there was no point of living anymore."
Salem looked attentive. "What made you want to live? What is your reason??" She asked.
"I created my own ambition. Whereas I lived for darkness just like you at one point, now I switched my path. I live for the lighter path and for the greater good." Sasuke answered.
Kaguya then followed. "For me, I also lost everything do to my arrogance and pride." Kaguya looked at Sasuke regretfully. Sasuke noticed and put his hand on her back. Soothingly rubbing it. "...I took a lot from Sasuke-kun, and I will forever be sorry to him. It made me rethink of my actions and innerstand that I had to change my ways. Now I too live for the lighter path. I support and stand by Sasuke-kun in whatever he does." Kaguya warmly smiled at him.
Sasuke smiled back and then looked at Salem. "So we ask you, will you like to join us and change your ways, or will you stay the same and die a careless death? It's up for you to decide. Remember it's never too late." Sasuke ended.
He really hoped Salem changed her ways, but if she didn't, he wouldn't hesitate to take her soul and kill her.
"..I.." Salem's life replayed over and over in her mind, but then a new life played. The question was then easy to answer. She looked at Sasuke and Kaguya with a renewed aura. "Accept." She gave them a small genuine smile.
This made Sasuke and Kaguya look satisfied with her answer. "Good I wi-" Sasuke started but was suddenly interrupted by Salem.
"I forgot!! Beacon Academy is getting attacked by Cinder!! " She yelled urgently.
Sasuke and Kaguya's expressions turned serious.
"We will handle it. We will return after we're finished." Sasuke held Kaguya's hand and teleported.
'Hopefully they can make it in time before anyone is killed.' Salem thought as she took a breath.
-To Beacon Academy-
This was a horrible day.
Who knew a good day can turn for the worse in a flash.
Penny was dead.
Grimm and White Fang were attacking Beacon Academy.
Now one of her best friends was about to be killed.
And she could do nothing about it as she watched helplessly.
She watched as Cinder Fall conjured her power to make a bow and arrow.
The second she was about to release it, she was stopped.
It looked like a hero decided to make their presence known.
-Sasuke and Kaguya's pov-
Sasuke held the woman's wrist with an iron clad grip. It made her drop the weapon she was holding.
He looked in her eyes and flashed his Sharingan to get a gist of the situation.
He then looked at Kaguya and sent her the memories. Kaguya nodded and went to check on Pyrrha Nikos.
"You sleep now." Sasuke put Cinder to sleep with his Sharingan before she could retort and she fell on the ground.
"Are you okay?" Kaguya asked as she placed a hand on Pyrrha and restored her aura, while healing her.
"W-Who are you both??" Pyrrha asked as she looked astonished at the sudden, unexpected entrance of the two.
Kaguya friendly smiled at her. "I'm Kaguya Otsutsuki and he's Sasuke Uchiha. We're here to help."
Sasuke walked to the other girl on the side. He held his hand out to her. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked.
Ruby's cheeks turned red as she looked at the man in front of her. She didn't know who he was, but her heart was beating like a drum in her chest. It was a very unfamiliar feeling.
She grabbed his hand and he pulled her up with ease. She took a breath in to calm herself. "..Yeah I'm fine thank you. W-"
ROOARR!!
They looked to see the Wyvern on top of the Beacon Tower.
Sasuke glanced at Kaguya and she nodded.
"I will handle the Wyvern and you make sure the rest of city is safe Sasuke-kun." Kaguya said as she prepared two Ash-Killing bones in her hands.
"Right." Sasuke placed a hand on Ruby and restored her aura and healed her of any wounds. He nodded. "I will see you both later." Sasuke then teleported.
"B-But I didn't get your n-!" Ruby started.
"His name is Sasuke Uchiha, Ruby. The woman's name is Kaguya Otsutsuki. She told me." Pyrrha watched as Kaguya floated up to the Wyvern.
Ruby ran towards Pyrrha and engulfed her in a hug. "Pyrrha! I thought you were going to die!!" A few tears shed from her eyes.
Pyrrha widely smiled. "I'm happy to be alive too Ruby. Thanks to Sasuke, I didn't die." She wanted to know who exactly the man was.
Ruby wiped her eyes and looked at Kaguya.
"D-Do you think she can kill it??" Ruby asked Pyrrha hesitantly.
"I...don't know Ruby." Pyrrha responded honestly.
They then watched attentively as Kaguya went to the Wyvern fearlessly.
"Yield or die animal." Kaguya said as she narrowed her eyes at the Wyvern.
The Wyvern loudly roared and open its mouth to fire blast Kaguya into ash.
Kaguya scoffed. How unsurprising. "You've signed your death warrant. Ash-Killing Bone Barrage." She calmly said. She held both of her hands toward the Wyvern and hundreds of Ash-Killing Bones shot out of them.
The Wyvern painfully screeched as it's body was turned into a pin cushion.
Eventually the Wyvern was no more as it's body deteriorated into ashes.
Kaguya brushed her hair back. What weaklings these Grimm were.
She floated back down to the two girls.
She looked at their faces and giggled at their expressions. "Surprised??" Kaguya teasingly asked them.
Their jaws dropped even lower and Kaguya laughed harder.
-To Sasuke-
'Looks like Kaguya handled the Wyvern.' He thought with a smirk as he no longer saw the Wyvern on Beacon Academy's tower.
It was easy killing these pathetic Grimm. He made sure to check on any civilian he saw.
He looked ahead and could see a group of civilians. It looked like one of the young women arms was sliced off and another looked severely injured. He can help them with that. He walked to them.
"Wait hold! Who are you?!" Weiss held her rapier in Sasuke's direction. Prompting Jaune, Sun, Ren, and Nora to stand guard also.
Sasuke held his hand up. "Calm down. I'm here to help."
"How do we know you're not lying?? You can be a traitor like those others." Sun asked with a serious expression.
Sasuke looked each one of them in the eyes. "You don't."
Jaune was the first to soften his gaze. "Relax guys. I trust him." He said. "I don't know what it is, but I do."
Whether it was in the way the man carried himself, or his gaze, Jaune didn't know.
Weiss huffed. "Fine, but if you do anything to hurt them...that's your head." She warned.
Sasuke walked nonchalantly to the two young women. He moved his cloak out the way as he placed a hand on each of them. (He's wearing Sasuke Shiden clothes by the way.)
His hands glowed gold.
The group watched with awe and shock as Yang's arm began to regenerate itself. Blake also healed at a fast rate.
Once it was over, they watched as Yang stirred and began to awaken.
"W-Where am I??" Yang confusingly asked.
"Yang!!" The group shouted before running to her and hugging her.
Yang coughed. "O-Okayy too tight and wait...my arm's back!! How?!" She yelled with surprise.
"This guy healed you Yang." Jaune said as they looked at Sasuke.
Yang slightly turned red and smiled. "Damn I was healed by a hottie?? Coool!!"
Weiss shook her head. Same ole Yang. "Look. I'm sorry for coming at you like that...it's b-" Sasuke interrupted.
"Don't be. I understand." He smiled at her.
Weiss turned to the side, a blush visible on her face.
"Thank you for healing me and Yang. My name is Blake Belladona, what's yours?" Blake asked.
Sasuke nodded to her. "Sasuke Uchiha."
The rest of the group then introduced themselves.
"Nice to meet you all." Sasuke said and nodded to them.
Kaguya, Ruby, and Pyrrha then approached them. Kaguya had Cinder over her shoulder.
"Ruby!!" Yang yelled and ran to her. The rest of Team RWBY followed.
"Yang?! How did your arm come back?!" Ruby yelled back and ran to Yang.
"Pyrrha!!" Jaune yelled and ran to her. "You're alive?!" The rest of Team JNPR ran with him.
Pyrrha stole a quick glance towards Sasuke's way and then looked back at Jaune. She smiled. "Jaune and friends!! Yes, I made it thanks to Sasuke. He saved me."
Both of the teams hugged and reconciled with each other.
Kaguya smiled. "It's a joyful feeling seeing people happy."
"I agree, but we have to handle something now though." Sasuke looked at Kaguya.
"Right. After you Sasuke-kun." Kaguya held his hand. They looked at the group one last time before Sasuke teleported.
Pyrrha was the first to notice they were gone.
"W-Wait where did they go??" She asked as she looked around. She wanted to at least thank Sasuke for saving her and a part of her wanted to get to know him more.
"I hope we get to see them again! They were really cool!!" A bubbly Ruby shouted. She also wanted to know why 'Sasuke' made her feel strange.
Jaune looked around. "Let's make sure everyone else is safe guys." He said as he began walking.
They nodded and followed after him.
