Obi Wan, a space outlaw, finds himself involved in serious problems that involve him and another handful of outcasts from the galaxy. They will have to join forces to defeat the Sith Yautja: Darth Maul, to prevent him from destroying the planet Coruscant.

8. Maul Face To Face Vader

The Scimitar...

Maul has a video call with Palpatine.

Palpatine: "Darth Maul, I am afraid to tell you that you were betrayed."

Maul is accompanied by Jyn at all times.

Darth Maul: "I was informed that she was only captured, Padme still has a chance to recover the Sphere."

Palpatine: "Of course not, our closest sources indicate that Padme has something planned with the Sphere, your association with Vader is in danger, in fact, Vader requests your presence immediately."

Maul is outraged.

Planet 4...

Maul traveled to this planet together with Jyn, reaching the top of the highest mountain, which is where Palpatine is, Maul speaks to the shadows.

Darth Maul: "With all due respect, Vader, your dear daughter caused all this mess, now you summon me."

Palpatine: "Watch your tone of voice, Predator."

Darth Maul: "First she loses a fight with an Earthling."

Palpatine: "Vader placed Padme in your charge."

Darth Maul: "She Then she is captured by Star Command."

Palpatine: "You are the one who is not giving the expected results."

Darth Maul: "Your sources indicate that Padme's plan was to betray us from the beginning!"

Palpatine: "Watch your tone!...I should...".

Tired of hearing it...Maul decapitates Palpatine!...Jyn can't believe what Maul has just done, Palpatine's head rolls to where the shadows begin.

Darth Maul: "The only thing I suggest is that you give importance to this matter."

From the shadows, he manifests himself, pushing the severed head aside with his foot, Darth Vader appears.

Darth Vader: "If there is anyone here who does not deserve importance, boy, it is you, you bore me with your politics, your behavior is like a poorly raised child, and worst of all... you marginalized my favorite daughter, Padme."

Jyn tries to ignore that last comment.

Darth Maul: "I will honor our agreement, Yautja, as long as you recover the Sphere, dare to return empty-handed...and I will personally water the universe with your blood."

There is a confrontation between Maul and Vader, clearly neither intimidates the other, they are Sith lords in their purest form.

Jyn Erso: "He sounds promising, thank you father."

Jyn tries to take Maul away.

Jyn Erso: "If you confront him, it's your death sentence, come on."

Maul looks at Vader one last time, he just crosses his arms watching him leave.
