Chapter 7 : The misunderstood man
Then a clap of thunder entered the Room and Mirabel knew it was her Tia Pepa.
Mirabel: "Tia, geez ".
Pepa: " Sorry, Sorry I just wanted to Ah shoo, shoo, shoo, I just wanted to get the last of Tonito's things and then i heard the name we do not speak. Great now I'm thundering thunder would turn into a drizzle and a drizzle will turn into a sprinkle clear skies clear skies clear skies". Pepa shooed her cloud
"Really Pepi, Am I really That bad that you decide not to say my name". Bruno looked annoyed at his sister
"No, I am sorry". Pepa looked ashamed
Mirabel : "Tia Pepa… If Bruno- I mean if he had a vision about someone would do you think that would mean".
Pepa was thundering pretty heavy.
Pepa : "We don't talk about Bruno ".
"Pepa Castilla Madrigal, You don't say those things about your brother like that, You're not kids anymore ". Pedro said
"Sorry Papá ". Pepa replied
"So you've guys haven't talked about Bruno for how long". Miguel whispered
"10 years". Camilo started
"That long wow I don't know what I'd do if I were him". Rosa said
That's mean and you didn't go looking for him or anything ". Manny asked
"Well we did for a while but then Abuela called off the search". Dolores finished
"That was until Mira found him and now we never let him out of our sight". Isabela laughed
"Wow, that girl really is amazing ". Miguel sighed
Dolores and Isabela smiled at Miguel's comment to Mirabel and laughed. Before realising Miguel had said it out loud.
"Ah please don't tell her I said that". Miguel blushed
"Okaaay But just so you know it's gonna slip out eventually ". Dolores laughs
Mirabel hid the vision pieces in her bag and then spoke to Pepa nervously trying to find the words.
Mirabel: " I know it's just hypothetically if he saw you".
Pepa: "Mirabel please we need to get ready for the Guzman's".
Mirabel: "I know , I just want to know if it was generally positive or maybe less positive or-"
She was stopped as Felix burst into the room unannounced.
Felix: " it was a nightmare ".
Pepa: "Felix!!"
"Really Felix you too , I know you love Pepi but still shame on you". Augustin and Julieta chorused
"Lo siento cuando ". He looked towards Bruno
"Esta bien ". Bruno smiled
Felix: " He would say something terrible then Cha- cha -cha boom it would happen".
Pepa: "We don't talk about Bruno ".
Bruno forced a smile but Luisa and Isabela could see how much this was hurting him so they went over and hugged him tight.
"We are very sorry we shouldn't have let this get so out of hand we love you we always will". Luisa starts
"Lu is right Tio we should've told Mirabel more about you and how amazing you are and how much you made us laugh even on the baddest of days". Isabela finished
"Oh Niñas , I missed you all when I was away and you know I'd never wanted to leave you". Bruno cried
"We Know , we missed our weird Tio too". Dolores laughs
All the kids jumped near him and gave him a massive group hug he cried just so happy to have the love back and his family too.
Layla then appeared in tears and put hand over her heart.
"Señorita Layla are you crying?" Héctor asked
"I hate to admit it Dear but yes I am, This is why I brought you all in here to make up for your past mistakes and see that through it all family is here when you need it". Layla cried
Mirabel: " What if you didn't understand what he saw?"
"FINALLY SOMEONE ACTUALLY UNDERSTANDS THAT MY VISIONS AREN'T ALWAYS A BAD THING AND TO THINK IT WOULD COME FROM MI MARIPOSA". Bruno yelled
Felix: "Then you better figure it out because it was coming for you".
"Way to go Félix you might as well have scared her". Enrique said

"Of course it was, but Pepa likes to make everything so dramatic don't you". Bruno rolled his eyes
"But still, my wedding day". Pepa sarcastically replies
"Alright, Alright that's enough you two honestly just when I think your adults that can handle this you're still just kids at the end of the day". Alma smiled

"Bruno walls in with a mischievous grin ".

"Again it was a JOKE and I knew it was raining because of clear observation not because of one of my stupid visions you would never believe me when I say this but I would never do that to you on your wedding day ever". Bruno exclaimed
"I'm very sorry Hermano I never meant it to be that bad". Pepa looked down
"Estas bien, No matter how crazy and dramatic you are I still love you and I forgive you and Felix but don't ever do that again ". Bruno hugged Pepa
"Si I won't, but call me crazy AGAIN and I will rain a storm down on you". Pepa stated
"Agreed". Bruno laughs
"Well one thing is for sure you are definitely not a monster amigo". Héctor whispered
"Si Gracias ". Bruno nudged

"Esta bien I forgive you just don't make stories like that up again even if it is to scare people". Bruno smiled

"I'm right here and it takes a lot more then that to scare me". Mirabel reminded

Bruno pinches his nose and sighed.
"Bruno was this an observation?" Elena asked
"Si it was, none of these were visions just clear observations nothing else". Bruno replied
"Of it was up to me then I'd be checking my factual sources before blaming someone, Not just putting the blame on them entirely ". Franco stated
"Gracias finally someone gets it". Bruno sighed
Layla then appeared
"I think you and Mirabel need an apology and big ones after all you two did everything you could to save your family". Layla explains
"I agree". Imelda starts
"Wait why me?" Mirabel asks
"Carina you deserve the upmost apology I mean you saved your house and taught everyone not to rely on gifts so much, not to mention the beatings of assault verbally and physically.
"Hold up what do you mean beatings". Miguel questioned
"You'll find out soon". Layla replied
"SO YOUR TELLING ME OUR MARIPOSA GOT BEATEN AND NO ONE DID ANYTHING TO HELP HER?" Bruno looked around the room.
"She did try asking but no one even looked everyone was too busy ". Layla said
"Tell me about it, I had to watch Mi Vida come home with bruises everywhere and trust me when I say it was not pretty ". Casita starts
Everyone looked around the room and saw a beautiful glowing fairy just like miss Layla only this time she had a flower crown over her head and colour all on her clothes.
"Who are you?" Isabela asked
"Isa, it's me Casita do you think I would not introduce myself to the family who I helped protect for many years ". Casita smiled
"Casita?" Alma asked
"So nice to finally meet you Señora Alma, Hello again Pedro lovely to see you ". Casita introduces
"Hola casita ". Pedro waved
All the Rivera's were shock and amazed at the same time.
"Wow, you're real". Manny said
"Darling of course I'm real and by the way it's nice to finally meet the Rivera family ". Casita explains
"It's l-lovely to meet you t-oo". Socorro stuttered
Then she walked over to Bruno and smiled at him.
"Well well well, I never thought I'd get a chance to meet the man who hid in my walls years for ten years". Casita smiles
"Nice to see you to Casita ". Bruno replies
"Now where is she, where is Mira?" Casita asked
"Estoy aqui". Mirabel replies
"Ah, there's my girl my goodness you've grown I mean I have seen you but it's not as good as seeing you in this form. Look at you still as beautiful as the day you were born Mi Vida thank you for understanding me and treating me like any other part of the family that's why your my favourite ". Casita laughs
"Of course you are family to me". Mirabel replies
Casita gently hugged Mirabel and smiled.
"Even after all these years you never loose that heart of gold even through the toughest of times". She compliments
"Gracias". Mirabel blushed
"Now I believe I was asked to stay here and help these families out and get some apologies from certain people ". Casita said
"That's exactly right, you wouldn't mind would you?" Layla asked
"Of course not Love". Casita smiled
"Great let's get started ". Layla replied
Ovaslado, Señora Prezumo and Señor Flores appears in the room.
"What we are we?" They asked
"Sorry to interrupt but you three have some apologises to give". Casita starts
"To whom we may ask?" Ovaslado said
"To Señor Bruno and to señorita Mirabel ". Layla replied
"About some visions and some bruises, punches and verbal assault ". Casita smirked
"Oh". They chorused
"You better mean these apologises otherwise you will be be on community service for a month". Casita Sneared
Ovaslado stepped forward and looked at Mirabel and Bruno in their eyes.
"Lo siento, I shouldn't have put the blame on you even if it was my own fault to begin with and I shouldn't have pressured you to have that vision for me I hope you can forgive me for all that I've done especially to you miss Mirabel I'm very sorry for treating you apart from your family even though you help with my daughter so many times and I love her to bits and I'm sorry for calling you giftless it was never my place to judge I hope that someday you can forgive me I've now learned not to put the blame on everyone especially those who serve our community for the greater good". Ovaslado apologises
"Thank you ovaslado we really appreciate your apology and know that your vision clear observation nothing more". Bruno started
"I'll keep that in mind". He smiled
"Thank you for the apology it means a lot you're forgiven ". Mirabel smiled
"That's better, now that is an apology if I ever heard one". Layla smiled
Next was Señor Flores he stood nervously waiting and watching their eyes meet his.
"Lo siento, for everything it was wrong to treat you that way and I never should've blamed you for my receding hairline Bruno that was all on me I just didn't want to admit it and I'm very sorry and Miss mirabel I am very sorry for saying that you are a failure in the eyes of God and that your family would be disappointed in you. I see that now that I've made the wrong choice of words and the wrong choice of blaming people and I want you to know that I will try and earn your forgiveness as it comes I hope that someday just like Ovasaldo can forgive me". Flores stated
"Well thank you for the meaning and about the receding hairline it happens to the best of us". Bruno shook off
"Si, thank you for the apology and I know you had a lot on your plate but thank you for taking the time to right your wrongs". Mirabel smiled
"Well you two certainly did the right thing it's never too late to apologise". Layla said
"Si, you two can go back". Casita smiled
Layla transported them back and smiled. Then both turned To Señora Prezumo and scowled as they patiently waited for her to make her apology.
She shook her head.
"I am not apologising to him neither his Impertinent Sonbrina he killed my fish and she didn't pay for her fabric and damages my store in the process ". She stated clearly
Bruno looked at her in the eyes and stared her down she didn't not back down.
"You didn't change out the water for the last time". Bruno Said slowly
"I do not care you let him die". She yelled
"He did no such thing if anything he warned you and you didn't listen to him, stop making a fool of yourself Señora ". Miguel backed up
"Si, if you don't want to apologise that's okay but don't take it out on him". Socorro backed up
Mirabel and Bruno sent the little girl a bright smile of thanks and she smiled back.
"Just so you know I apologised and I payed with my Well earned pesos for that fabric, somehow you like to take everything out of proportion ". She said
"Why you-". Prezumo gritted her teeth
"Come any closer and finish that sentence I will give you a vision that's much worse got it?" Bruno smirked
"Well I think that earns you two months of community service and when you get back Isabela Madrigal will be watching over you". Layla smiled
Prezumo had an angry look over her face when Layla was transported her back.
"Sorry about that, I guess some people don't change for the better ". Layla shrieked
"Go figure ". Abel stated
"Are you okay Mira?" Miguel asked
"Estas bien Musico". She smiled
He blushed at the name and laughed, Isabela knew something was going on but didn't say anything and only smiled.
"Estas bien Hermano ?" Julieta asked
"Si". He nodded

"Lola, I guess my vision turned out alright in the end you did get Mariano ". Bruno laughs

"See just goes to show jumping to conclusions Is never the right answer ". Héctor replies
"Lo siento, I should've known and at least waited till the right time but I was impatient I am so sorry ". Dolores started
"Estas bien, you know there's one thing a vision can't show me". He finished

He then hugged his Sonbrinos and Sonbrinas tightly and they all laughed .

The next shows the vision being put together just then a knock came from Mirabel 's door, soon the door was open and before she could hide he burst into her room
