(Note: Today is a good day. Why? Well, I got more time to write a few more chapters, so today you guys will get three chapters today! They'll be posted 30 minutes apart. Hope you enjoy.)
On the bus heading towards the training camp
Midoriya's pov
As the bus drives towards our destination, my classmates are excited for this trip and are talking non-stop about it. Well, except me. I just can't stop thinking about what's happening to me. "Hey, Deku." Will I be like those things at Dagoba Beach? "Deku!" Or will I end up like Garou? "DEKU!" Kacchan yells as I am knocked out of my thoughts.
"Huh? What is it?" I ask. "Why are you moping around? You look pathetic like that." Kacchan says. "I'm just…tired. I'm still recovering from my fight with Garou." I answer. If it can even be called a fight. "Oh yeah! I never did ask, but what happened." Mina says, joining the conversation. "I told you what happened, didn't I?" Uraraka says to Mina. "Oh, right." Mina says.
"But I've got to say, I like the new look Midoriya." Mina says complimenting the changes in my appearance. If only you knew what the changes really mean. "Is it because his hair is pink like yours?" Tsu jokes with Mina. "Okay that too, but he looks good." Mina says. "He's still a useless Deku." Kacchan says. "Bakugou, that is no way to treat your classmates!" Iida says, doing weird chopping hand motions. "Everyone shut up. We're here." Aizawa says as the bus stops near a cliff. Wait, where's the training camp? "Everybody out." Aizawa says as we get out of the bus.
Upon exiting the bus, a second car parks nearby and two pros and a kid get out of the car. "Heya Eraser." The heroes known as Mandalay says with Pixiepop next to her. They are part of the Wild Wild Pussycats. A 4 team hero group that aren't high ranked, but still well respected. "And these must be Class 1-A and 1-B." Mandalay says as we wave.
"Welcome to the trading camp. Here we're gonna push you beyond your limits. You'll be training in that facility." Mandalay points to a building a good distance away. Woah! It's big, but why are we…this…far— OH SHIT! "Everyone! Get back on the bus, now!" I yell as everyone is confused. "You should've suspected sooner. Your training has already begun." Aizawa says as Pixiepop gets in front of us with a mischievous grin. She then uses her quirk to create a mudslide to send us off the cliff.
"WHAT THE HECK?!" Uraraka yells. "SHE MUST BE CONTROLLING THE GROUND!" I yell as we fall off the cliff and into the forest below. They're making us get to the facility on foot?! Are they insane?! We get up and re-group together. "Okay we need to make our way to the camp as a group. If you have to leave for something, let us know. Understand?" Iida says as we nod. He is our class representative, of course he would take charge.
We walk through the forest as it's quiet for a while. Until, we hear a low growl and see a couple of mud monsters. At first I'm scared, but I remember that it's must Pixiepop's quirk again. "What do we do?" Mina asks. "Isn't it obvious, Raccoon eye? We fight!" Kacchan yells as he uses his explosions to propel himself in the air as he starts to fight them. "Well?! What are we waiting for?!" Kirishima says as we jump in to fight the mud monsters.
Yaoyorozu makes cannons from her body to blow their limbs off. Todoroki and Kacchan fight off some of the monsters while Iida uses his legs to kick them away. Most of my classmates use their quirks to fight the monsters. But I didn't because if I do my arms could break. But, with what's happening to me, I don't think they can break anymore. But I have to be careful since I left my medicine on the bus.
I power up One for All all over my body and prepare to fight. One for All 50%—no, 100%! I dash forward in the blink of an eye and slam my fist into the mud monster and it not explodes, but destroys a large portion of trees behind it. I want to stop and see what happened, but I can't since there are more of them. So I keep dashing and destroying them, along with more trees and creating shockwaves.
While I'm fighting the monsters, a smile slowly grows on my face. This…is fun! I'm enjoying this way more than I should. I just want to keep fighting and destroying these things! When the monsters in my area finally stop showing up, I turn to see more in the distance. "Heh, you think you hide from me?!" I yell as I shoot at them like a bullet and go straight through one as it explodes. "Who's next?!" I yell.
Katsuki Bakugou's pov
Me and the other extras stop fighting too see Deku destroy the mud monsters in quick succession. Not only that, but each of his punches destroy the trees in the area, as well as send shockwaves that nearly blow us away. How the hell did that Deku get stronger?! Does he think that now he has a boost in power he can fight without a challenge?!
"You damn Deku!" I yell, blasting my way towards him so I can fight too. I fly past Deku as I blast one of the mud monsters in the face, destroying it. "Don't think you're the only one fighting here De—", "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Deku yells as he backhands me in the face, sending me through a few trees. "AAAGGGHHH!" I scream out in pain. I think my back is broken! "Bakugou!" Kirshima says, coming to my aid.
"This is getting out of hand! Midoriya is out of control! Yaouyrozu, fire a flare to alert the teachers!" Iida orders Yaoyorozu as she makes a flare gun and fires it in the air. Oh god! My back hurts!
At the training camp
Aizawa's pov
"It's taking quite a while for them to get here." Mandalay says. "They'll have to train the hard way if they want to get through the summer." I say. Suddenly, a flare is fired in the air. "A flare?" Ragdoll questions. "What the hell is going on?" Vlad said. "Ragdoll, use your quirk to see what's wrong." I order Ragdoll as she closes her eyes and uses her quirk.
"Oh my god!" Rag doll says. "What? What is it?" I ask. "One of your students is going rogue! He's violently attacking Pixepop's dirt monsters and he has already hurt another student!" Ragdoll explains. "What?!" I yell. "Let's go!" Vlad yells as we run to the scene. This wasn't what was supposed to happen!
Back in the forest
Midoriya's pov
"More! MORE!" I yell, destroying more monsters. I just can't stop. I want more monsters to kill! To destroy! All the remaining monsters group together and charge at me. "Oh? Are you trying to attack me at once?! Big mistake!" I yell as I feel power flowing through me.
Then, my body emits a small blue light ball of energy as pink and blue lightning surrounds me. "What the hell is going on?!" I hear Aizawa ask, but I don't acknowledge him. The power I am feeling then forms a bigger ball of energy in front of me as if it is powering up. "RRRR AAAAGGGGHHHH!" I scream as the ball of energy shoots out as a beam at the monsters. The beam not only disintegrates them, but destroys a large portion of the forest.
Once the beam dies down, all that is left is destroyed tree stumps, burned dirt, and some fire. Suddenly, I feel Aizawa's scarf wrap around me. "What the?!" I say as Aizawa speaks. "What did you do, Midoriya?!" Aizawa yells while he uses his quirk on me. I suddenly snap out of it, only to see my classmates' scared faces and Kacchan being tended to. "I…I…I don't know." I say to Aizawa. "Oh god! What have I done?!" I say, crying.
"Oh god! I think his back is broken!" Mandalay yells towards Aizawa. "Wait, What?!" I say in shock. "I'll deal with you later." Aizawa says, releasing me. "Deku?" I turn to see Uraraka, scared of me. "I…I…I didn't mean to. I…oh god!" I yell, tearing up. It was the monster fication. It's making me go insane. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry…" I repeat while in tears.
A few hours later
Aizawa's pov
After everything settles, I go to the room where I put Midoriya in, so I talk to him alone. "Is Kacchan alright?" Midoriya asks. "He's fine. He'll be transferred to a hospital today." I tell him. "Now, I want you to tell me everything that happened. Leave no details out." I tell him. This isn't like him. Something is going on and his quirk is somehow more powerful. No one at his age can destroy a large portion of a forest.
"Well, after you sent us off the cliff, we grouped up and walked to the camp. Then mud monsters appeared and we had to fight them. But while I was fighting, I…got carried away and—", "I know you're lying." I say. "What?" Midoriya asks. "While we were getting the students' bags off the bus, I found some medicine of sorts in your bag. Since you went crazy today, I'm pretty sure, whatever the medicine is for, is the reason you lost control and went crazy." I say as he looks dumbfounded.
"Look, I know that there is something going on, but I can't help you with it if you don't tell me and I can't protect the others if you go crazy again. Not to mention that you made a beam out of thin air." I explain. "It's just… I promised All Might I wouldn't tell anyone." Midoriya says. "Well he doesn't have to know. What you tell me now will stay in this room." I say.
"…I'm turning into a monster." Midoriya says. "What?" I ask. "The reason my appearance is changing is not because I wanted to have a cosmetic change, but because my body is transforming into a monster." Midoriya explains. He then tells me everything that All Might told him and this is…shocking. "So the medicine is to help you not lose control while slowing down your transformation?" I say, reiterating what he said as he nods.
"*sigh* And not only are you turning, but Garou is as well?" I say as Midoriya nods. That would explain a lot. "Ok, I won't tell All Might that you told me this, but that doesn't mean I can't try to help you." I say. "Tomorrow, I can't let you train since I've already told Nezu." I say. Midoriya is about to say something, but I cut him off. "I didn't tell him everything though." I say as he calms down. "There is a mountain not far from here. You can maybe train a little up there, away from the others." I say. "I will, Sensei." Midoriya says. "Ok. Now go get some sleep." I say as I pat him on the shoulder as he walks out.
He's a good kid. A kid who shouldn't be going through this. I can only do my best for him. But, why did Nezu and HPSC keep this info away from the other pros? Maybe, there is something more going on in the shadows.
Outside the room
Uraraka's pov
"Deku…why didn't you tell us?" I ask myself as I slide down the wall in shock. I was worried about Deku, so I listened in on him and Aizawa. This is…I don't know what to say. There has to be something I can do to help. There has to. He's helped me so much, but I haven't returned the favor yet. I'll try to talk to him later. Away from everyone
I walk back to bedrooms and see the others talking. "That was crazy. I didn't think Midoriya could be so violent." Mina says. "It was terrifying. I'm just glad Bakugou isn't hurt." Yaouyrozu says. "What about Midoriya? He seemed sad after his rampage." Todoroki says. "Tsk! Probably just trying to get our sympathy." Kaminari says.
"Huh?" We are confused. "Think about it. Midoriya has been acting strange for a while. It's only a theory, but I think he might be the traitor in UA." Kaminari says. What?! "Hey hey. Let's not go there. He probably just got carried away." Kirshima says. "Or maybe—", "Deku isn't the traitor!" I yell. "He's a good person. He would never betray UA." I explain. "It's only a theory. I'm saying he is." Kaminari says, but I stomp off, not even caring to listen to them.
How could they turn on him like that?! He made a mistake. A simple mistake! I just need to help him. That's all.
On a mountain a few miles away
Dabi's pov
"He's what?!" Shigaraki yells through the phone. "Yeah. Apparently, another student hit him so hard that his back broke. At least that's what our spy says." I tell Shigaraki. Our spy within Class 1-A said that the Bakugou kid was injured and had to be taken to a hospital.
I hear Shigaraki groan from the other side of the phone. "This changes nothing. We can still get the second Target." Shigaraki says. "And who might be this second target?" I ask Shigaraki. "A brat named Kota Izumi. He's Mandalay's nephew." Shigaraki says.
"You want us to kidnap a kid? Why?" I ask. "He's connected to Garou in some way and if we want to kill him then we're going to need to draw him out. It might also bring All Might as well." Shigaraki says. So that's why you want the kid. He'll bring Garou to you. I don't know what this kid's connection is to Garou, but I'll have to warn him when I get back.
"Alright. I'll get him when the attack starts." I say. "And bring Ragdoll too. My master wants her quirk." Shigaraki says. "Consider it done." I say, hanging up on him. "How long do we have to wait? I'm getting bored!" Twice complains. "We have to wait until the others can be teleported here. So, just shut up." I say as I look at the camp. Soon, we'll strike and they won't see us coming.
